My flight was a red eye and I got in around 4am Sunday. Because of this I booked my hotel for Sunday for check in so I didn’t have to wait till 3pm. I tried checking in and they said due to their computer issues they asked me to wait for the manager who was to arrive in 20 min. I didn’t understand this because supposedly the on site manager was sitting there in a chair so not sure why she couldn’t handle the issue. I patiently waited and got breakfast. Two hours passed and then finally ended up checking in to our room. The worst service ever

This was a good hotel. Stayed in an executive double. Plenty space, clean, nespresso machine, big TV, fridge. Breakfast had enough selection to suit a few different nationalities including hot food and was all fresh. We were happy with the location. Great for the city and the trains. Very small amount of noise from station at night but not enough to keep us awake. Would stay again.

Nice property but our check in was a mess. We arrived around 1200 and our room wasn’t ready. No problem we checked our luggage, went for a walk and had lunch. Came back at 1400 room still not ready. Sat in lobby. A large group arrived and all got rooms right away. I went to check in asked why they were able to check in but we couldn’t. “Oh, their rooms were ready”. OK we’re here. 2 hours ago, why didn’t you ask housekeeping to make up our room right away! “We don’t do that.”

The location suited us great as a family stopping in at Utrecht for one night (using the train - the hotel is only a few minutes walk to Utrecht Central Station. You can also walk to the main shopping centre/area within 5 minutes, just watch up for the very fast bikes flying down the bike lanes when crossing them. It was also only a 10 minute walk to Oudegracht. Our room was very clean with a huge walk in shower. I would stay here again

Beautiful, modern, American-like hotel with all the expected American amenities like a working hair dryer, iron and ironing board, hand towels and wash cloths! Very much enjoyed this hotel on our last night in Europe. Stayed because it was close to the train station but there was a strike. The front desk was very helpful in finding us a taxi to the airport. Wonderful place!

Overall, good quality hotel, centrally located. However at busy times getting access was difficult due to ongoing steam of bikes, also room was adjacent to railway tracks and only way to compensate was to put the AC on! We come to Utrecht regularly but will not return to this hotel as a number of good alternatives around.

I mistakenly booked the wrong hotel from my colleagues and was going to have to take a taxi 10 minutes away. Luckily, I saw the Park Plaza and was able to book a room immediately. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, the mall, and a short walk to the historic town center. It was easy to navigate and there were always people around. (I will say this section is VERY busy during rush hour...look both ways before crossing the street!)

The bed was much larger than I expected for a European hotel and super comfortable. It looks like the rooms were updated recently. The bathroom was spacious and well lit. The only issue I had was some of the clothes I hung in the closet ended up smelling a bit musty...like an old closet. LOL. I got the package with breakfast and it was the perfect way to start my day! Lots of options, friendly staff, and the food was quite good.

I would never stay there again for the money they charge, paid just over $400 aud for a night to get a disabled room, was so loud could hear the elevator, could hear the people walking up n down the staircase, could hear people chatting outside room and other doors closing were loud, also could hear all people talking and chairs and doors closing below us in lobby it was so loud! Our room didn’t even have a fridge to put drinks in very very average for what the rate themselves and charge per night! If I could have got a refund we would have and would have driven back home!

Shower cap, coffee and tea not replaced/ refilled for 2 days until I asked for them though we requested for housekeeping everyday during our stay. Hair dryer is also not kept in its bag. Toilet roll dispenser is also spoilt. Mugs is unclean as there is a layer of oil in my breakfast tea.

Our room was very nice and modern. Parking is onsite which is a bonus but be aware there aren't many spots and does fill up especially near 3pm check in time (we arrived at 2:30 and got the last spot) so that would be a problem for anyone arriving after us. The breakfast was ok, probably the least selection of all the hotels we have stayed in Europe this trip (Netherlands Belgium) but was fine, it was also the least expensive too so I guess that is why. I also enjoyed the flavoured water and snacks available in the reception all day. I also like how they offer a 10 euro voucher for dining if you opt out of house keeping during your stay. All in all a very nice stay.

Loved this hotel. Central Utretch with everything walkable. 2 minutes to train travel, close to the World Trade Centre and easy for going into Amsterdam. Had a lovely room with a large comfortable bed. It was clean, the shower worked and we had plenty of space. The breakfast had a superb choice & the evening menu, which we paid in advance, was limited but still good value and tasty. It was great if you wanted a basic meal after a day out walking. The staff here are the best. Could not fault any staff member. They were all extremely professional and friendly and reception extremely helpful and welcoming.

We are three freinds living in an \"excecutive\" room. Kings Size bed and an extra bed. But the room had only been equiped with two duvets. And the maid only gave us two sets of towels.

Great location, really classy property for a fair price. A bit understaffed; had to wait a long time to check in and to just collect bags that were being held b/c each time there was just one person at reception, so plan ahead. Restaurant food was excellent but was overcharged for the meals that I had but luckily I checked my bill thoroughly.

I admit I booked a one-night stay here just because it was cheap, but it was surprisingly nice, had unique decor, and in a really great location, as well. Right outside the door was a walking/biking path that made it easy to walk quickly to the train station and to the adorable city center area.

New hotel but pretty soulless. No life in bar area etc. Area around hotel currently being redeveloped so access past fences. Note - access to city is through a tunnel under the railway. It’s not unsafe. Plenty of cyclists but still drunks and drug users in the tunnel, mainly during the day and early evening.

I've stayed a lot of times in Park Plaza before the renovation. This week was my first after the big refresh they did to the rooms but also to the main entrance and gym. I can only say that i was very impressed the overall quality was increased a lot and Park Plaza is now at the same quality level as the close-by hotels. I will definitely stay here more often.

As we have found with other hotels in Netherlands, a quilt was supplied and not a sheet and blankets. This often meant either too hot or cold.

Enjoyable few nights here, the room is a good size with a big comfortable bed and a Nespresso coffee machine. Unfortunately no proper fridge in the room. Always fresh fruit and iced filtered water downstairs for all guests. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations on what to do and travel information.

The hotel is well located for business or leisure, very close to the central train station. During my stay, there was refurbishment work going on which meant that there was a temporary reception at the side. Most importantly, there was some noise in the hotel front after 8 am in the morning which could be annoying for some people. Other than that the size, cleanliness and amenities of the room were quite good, as one would expect from Park Plaza. Last, the breafast/bar area at the top of the hotel was recently redecorated and was great!
