The NH Amersfoort hotel is conveniently located less than one kilometer from Amersfoort City Center. Many excellent points of interest are within walking distance such as the KAdE art gallery or the Museum Flehite.
For those wishing to venture further afield, Amersfoort Central Station is less than five minutes away by foot. Each of our modern guest rooms features comfortable amenities such as free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, and tea and coffee makers.

5 minute walk from train station and direct route to the city center in about 10 minutes or less. Air conditioning, mini fridge, comfortable bed and decent restaraunt for a quick bite. Conveience items that you can self purchase 24hrs a day. Would highly recommend. Centrally located hotel to reach Utrecht, Giethoorn and Delft for day trips.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived by very helpful and skilful staff. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean, with an excellent ensuite bathroom. The bar was a very pleasant and well run spot in the evening for both beer and coffee. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay here again at this fabulous hotel, which was an easy walk from the centre of Amersfoort.

We were on a motorcycle trip and this was our last stop before heading home on the ferry fro rottadam to hull. The staff were very helpful and courteous and made our stay very pleasant.

I personally appreciated their nondairy milk choices. The staff was friendly. In particular, Bob was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend if staying in the area!

I had booked a room from April 20 as my wife and daughter were reaching on the morning of April 21 from an international destination. I had spoken to a NH representative who had advised this to ensure they get a room when they reach as check in was at 3 PM. The hotel charged non-occupancy charges for no show on the 20th! This is really bizarre and frankly terrible customer service!

We had a lovely stay here. We were very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff who had to help us with various queries we had. We ate at the hotel 3 times and the dinners were fantastic!

Not a fancy place by any stretch of imagination but clean, comfortable, and with really lovely staff. I felt welcome the moment I got there. The staff was kind and accommodating. They got me in hours before the official checkin time - I appreciated that more than anything. All in all, I was a fan. Myself and my wife stayed here in August 2019. Very easy 7 minute walk from the train station, supermarket close by and a 10 minute walk to the centre. Room was slightly dirty on arrival, bathroom door was bleach stained and pillow cases had stains on them but cases sorted quickly after speaking to reception. Bed was big and comfortable and we luckily had a view of the Onze Lieve Vrouwtoren. Perfect for a couple looking to explore Amersfoort.

The hotel was quite good. no downsides everything was up to standards. but the cost was little too much and the cost for parking was also too much, 15 euros for 1 night was way above normal, when near by hotels in Amersfoort provide the same kind of shared, covered parking for 7 euros.

The check-in process took a VERY LONG time, upon checking in they did NOT ask for a credit card so could get a breakfast-in-bed without going to reception first to pay for it (which I didn't). In short, I felt treated like a criminal (and that's not a feeling one should get, if one is a PAYING customer).

A surprising little known gem.
Amersfoort is a surprise as it isn't even mentioned in the Rough Guide to the Netherlands and yet it is a beautiful place of canals, narrow streets, and squares full of bars and eateries.
The hotel is clean, comfortable with extremely helpful and friendly staff, well up to the usual NH standards.
I would heartily recommend both the town and the hotel.

I was only in Amersfoort for one night, and this business hotel was perfect. Clean, quiet, spacious room with a very comfy desk. Efficient, friendly front desk. I had several bags so the proximity to the station was a huge plus. Yet the walk to the picturesque section of town was under 10 minutes and very easy to navigate.

A friendly, efficient and clean hotel, this place is ideal for business and convenient for the station and the town. The rooms are a little small, meaning it's a bit hard to juggle baggage etc - but the shower is great, and it's quiet. Wifi was inadequate in the evening (I didn't choose to pay for a better service), and the dinner food was rather style over substance. However, the breakfast buffet compensated for that considerably.

Nicely located but void of atmosphere
The hotel is conveniently situated in close proximity to the train station as well as the downtown area. The staff is friendly and generally helpful. However the place is un-invitingly somber and void of atmosphere, quiet and grey/brown tones, no background music in the common areas or bar. The superior room is spacious, bed is comfortable, except for the pillows, which would fully flatten as soon as you rest your head on one. But also the room feels like a funeral of grey and brown, with a tiny and colorless picture of a church tower as wall decoration. A bit of color would liven up the place. The bathroom tiles resembles that of a hospital, which added to the depressing ambiance. Also bathtub entrace is an accident waiting to happen, with a treshold of almost 50 cm and a raised tub... Too bad about the hotel interior, because the potential is there.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is clean, modern, friendly staff, and in a wonderful location for walking around. I think that the parking is a bit steep so I would have chosen to park another place 15 euro/night. The WIFI is also incredibly slow. Outside of that, I would stay there again.

Good value in Amersfoort.
I had never stayed at an NH Hotel and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is convenient to the city centre and has all of the facilities I would expect in a first class hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Parking could not have been better. I do wish ice was available other than by supplying your own container to the kitchen. Otherwise no complaints and a positive experience.

Really nice, new and clean hotel. The room was big and nicely decorated. Everything felt new and clean. The location was ideal as it was between the train station and the city centre. It was nice and quiet. Staff were friendly and we even got free cakes since it was King's day.
The shower in the bathroom was great, it had three different functions to try out. The tea and coffee making facilities in the room were also good.
