The check-in was horrible. They had a confirmation email about my reservation, but it wasn’t in the booking. The room didn’t even have a coffee maker. The mattress is on the bed were very very very old and uncomfortable overall decor and cleanliness of the hotel room was not very interesting I stayed in quite a few at your hotels and this one was disappointing.

Stayed here on two occasions now, this time, the breakfast was rather poor compared to previous stay. Rooms are dated but comfortable, can get warm in the summer with no A/C but electric fan was provided.
Staff very friendly and competent and spoke good English.

Okay but not great experience

Hotel staff does not greet you upon entry. They always look down.

I booked a room that was advertised to sleep 3 persons but only sleeps 2!!
False advertising. I had to pay extra for an extra foldable bed!!
They also charge extra tourist taxes!!
So all in all way more expensive.
This should all have been included in the Hotels.com pricing!

Rooms are dated, no A/C units, fan or anything present. You need to open the window for some airflow… typical Dutch.
No fridge or microwave present.
Beds are good and comfortable.
Shower is in the middle of the tub not on right or left side. Water pressure was low to conserve water so your legs stay cold during showering.
Breakfast buffet costs extra! Could be included in the price in my opinion.

Stayed few times at this hotel in the last few years, always same outdated rooms, average breakfast, no improvements at all during the years. Room very cold even if an electric radiator was in the room it took 2x days running to have a decent room temperature.

Very nice, if somewhat dated rooms. Old furniture with heavily stained desk chair. Ample free parking, friendly staff, decent breakfast and of course the wonderful neighbourhood. I would definitely stay again, but probably in a better quality room.

The hotel is in a great location just 100m from an excellent village shopping area - a good selection of stores and fabulous bakery/coffee shop.
Parking is easy and the junior suite spacious enough. However, the bathroom is in need of a refurbishment as there was mould around the bath and on the tiles. Not good. The courtyard area needs a clean up - leaves not cleared and several cigarette ends lying on the ground for the duration of our stay - it could be a great area, just need to keep the floor and furniture spotless!
Staff are friendly except at check-in when one male receptionist was adamant that at 11am we were not allowed our room until 3pm and he was going to make us sit in reception. However a colleague of his stepped in and kindly gave us our room.
Anna at reception was excellent - smiling, friendly, very service minded and a credit to the hotel - well done Anna, you do a great job and thank you!
Food and the restaurant staff all great and the menu selection has the golden rule of a short menu but everything excellently cooked!

Characterful and Quality Dutch Hotel.

I love staying at this hotel when coming to Amersfoort. Excellent value and the location is easy to reach from the train station. However, no longer a Bilderberg and with Fletcher there are no safes, Bathmats or individual bottled toiletries complimentary (these are very helpful for hand-luggage air passengers).
Still for the price, it met all the necessary requirements of being clean, large spacious rooms that are quiet for sleep and with efficient and friendly staff. I still recommend the De Klepperman.

Wish we could stay longer!

Fletcher Hotel is a great place to stay, in a cute town. The breakfast is very good. The hotel has plenty of public spaces for visiting with friends and working on laptops. The fireplace is always lit and welcoming. The whole environment is bright, friendly, and comfortable

A little home from home!

I visit this hotel regularly for work. Thanks staff are amazing, the food is good and always some special surprise set dinner. Ben in the bar always makes me feel welcome! I love the hotel, but I wish they could update the rooms a little. They are clean however! The standard of this hotel is maintained by its staff and done well!

It was a very pleasant stay. I loved the central location of the hotel, walking distance to everywhere and in close proximity of chain stores. The service was outstanding. Ladies at the counter were extremely helpful. The room was comfortable. I would have loved to have a somewhat easier shower instead of having to climb in a rather high bath which can be rather slippery.

Two problems - we requested and booked a room through Hotels.com for three adults but the Hotel wanted to charge extra for a camp bed, and Hotels.com advertised breakfast was included in the reservation but this was not stated on the printed confirmation sheet.

Stayed one night en route Kiel - Hook van Holland. Pleasant reception, good sized ground floor room and although there was a huge party/disco going on, it was well soundproofed and no problem at all. We ate in the in house restaurant and the evenings 3 course set menu could not have been better. Breakfast was described as Continental but would put the 'Full English' to shame. We shall certainly stay again

Perfect launching point for hiking in the Veluwe

nice overnight weekend visit. Hiked, dinner out, wellness and shopped in Utrecht. The hotel is modern, conveniently located and the staff are extraordinarily kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the rooms, while rather small and compact, are well appointed and clean. The property is quiet and has a nice bar, restaurant, breakfast room and various sitting areas. The Wellness area/spa is only open for hotel guests from 6 pm onwards, and can reasonably handle 4 people at most. It's not really a spa hotel property and if more than 4 people want to use the sauna/spa facilities at a time, then that's a challenge. Otherwise, nice location, comfortable hotel, great breakfast and exceptional staff.

Very nice hotel we loved it!

We were with two small childrens (2+4 years old). Location was great! There are resturants, supermarket,ATM near by (4 minutes walking).
Breakfast was lovely. Very big room, clean and comftorble beds. The one and only cons was that there is no aircondition and we were in August with 31 degrees.

Good hotel clean , friendly polite staff, comfy bed, good brekfast .Had a evening meal in the restaurant ,it was good food but a little pricey....
Only downside to my stay was the room, it was cold, i adjusted the radiator but it was located behind the curtains , and i beleive the heat went out the window?.

This is the second time I have stayed in this extremely pleasant hotel. The first time was with teenagers and this time with my 89 year old mother. On both occasions the hotel staff did everything possible to help. Room service was quick and efficient and the breakfast excellent. The rooms are spacious and have very pleasant views - some have a small balcony. The restaurant food is of a high standard. It is located in the centre of a large village with plenty of shops. It is very close to the ancient market town of Amersfoort and the Hoge Veluwe National Park is close by. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all, I can happily recommend this hotel to both families and couples.

Behöver en uppfräschning

Vi var flera vänner som bodde på hotellet över en helg. Vi bodde i tre olika rum med samma standard och pris, men fick helt olika faciliteter. Två av rummen hade kylskåp och/eller AC. Mitt rum hade ingen AC, inget kylskåp och det gick knappt att få kallt vatten i duschen. Det var varmt och kvavt. Det luktade svett i alla tre rum, kanske från heltäckningsmattorna. Det kändes inte fräscht och det var svårt att sova. Jag var tvungen att ha fönstret öppet hela tiden för att få in luft, men eftersom rummet låg ovanför entrén blev jag väckt på natten av gäster som anlände.

Det var inte en trevlig vistelse, det levde inte upp till mina förväntningar.

Mooi gelegen hotel op loopafstand van het centrum van Hoevelaken. Goed bereikbaar met eigen vervoer en OV (Bus 102 uit Amersfoort of Apeldoorn stopt bijna voor de deur). Fietsen te huur, ook electrische fietsen.

Die Unterkunft ist sicherlich schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles gepflegt und vollkommen ok. Ruhige Lage, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, Personal sehr freundlich. Im Zimmer, ich war Ende Juli dort, war es allerdings recht warm, eine Klimaanlage ist nicht vorhanden, allerdings ein Ventilator. Es hatten sich zwar nur wenige Stechmücken bei geöffnetem Fenster ins Zimmer verirrt, trotzdem wäre ein Mückengitter am Fenster von Vorteil. Frühstücksauswahl war täglich unverändert, aber alles, was angeboten wurde, war sehr lecker. Alles in allem eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Dit hotel is een 4 sterrenhotel, maar de kamer kwam wat mij betreft niet verder dan 2 sterren. Wastafel kapot, geen bad, geen koffie of thee op de kamer, geen radio, geen airco maar een tafelventilatortje, op de plek waar ooit een koelkastje stond was nu een leeg kastje. Douchegel uit een gemeenschappelijk flesje, aangebroken WC rol. Voor een 2 sterrenhotel allemaal prima, maar niet voor een 4 sterrenhotel.
