Food at restaurant was delicious, breakfast buffet was great, room was ok but walls between rooms veeeery thin and first night I was kept awake for 3 hrs listening to the couple in the room next to me having noisy sex. Bathroom was freezing cold when it was cold outside. But staff was lovely and helpful in every way

I stayed in the apartments they are a 5 minute walk from the main hotel and Hilversum Train Station and shops the number 5 bus stops close by.

The apartment was very nice and in very good condition.

Public transport is very cheap so you can save a lot travelling to the tourist destinations from Hilversum.

Free parking is great to find, though quite limited and tight at the Hotel. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. As an animal lover I was pleased to see a cat in the lobby who was eager for some attention!

Fantastic apartment with everything we needed. Hotel staff were fantastic. Parking right outside the apartment. Very clean and well maintained, had free use of washing machine and tumble dryer. Only downside we got all our luggage out and went into reception to check in but the apartment is a short drive away so we had to pack it all back in the car! We will know next time and would definitely return if in the area. Also we were given a late checkout for free.

Was so impressed by this hotel. It is great in terms of facilities, with a 24/7 reception and baggage storage post-checkout, but the staff were absolutely fabulous and so helpful with just about everything.

The hotel is not too far away from the bigger cities and is much cheaper, so definitely an option as long as you can drive (free parking is available).

In short, a very comfortable stay and was happy with my two nights.

Awful hotel. Manager on Holiday. Ran out of food

Terrible stay. No dental kit. As i forgot toorhbrush and it was late at night i needed to get a taxi to a night store. The restaurant ran out of food so i need to order Uber eats. They only had enough food for 5 reservations. Room Tiny and poorly designed. Hairdyer worked perfectly on day one on day 2 it didnt. I think someone swopped the hairdyer. No spare hairdryer meaning it took forever to dry hair. One day i needed to leave for business with wet hair. Shower trickled no power. Needed to stay in shower much longer to get shampoo off hair. Manager not available to deal with complaint. They manager was on holiday. Requested a call left telephone number twice and email. No response from hotel. No reduction in stay. Terrible experience.

La chambre était trop petite, pas de place dans l'armoire pour la valise et le lit était trop petit et étroit. Je coignait plusieurs fois au mur quand je dormais. Il y a eu une tâche jaune sur la housse de couette. Le personnel est très symphatique et souraint.
A mon avis, c'est un hôtel de 2 étoiles.

24 hour reception, which was good as I arrived at 2.00am. It was in the middle of the heat wave so the room was hot...a.c would have been nice. Very quiet area so open windows helped (a bit). At €15.50 breakfast was rather Spartan.

Lovely Inn

We stayed at this lovely inn for New Years and it was perfect. The staff were so nice and helpful. The Tulip in is not far from the train stop and a block or so from lots of food options. The Tulip Inn has a great restaurant as well. I would definitely recommend it again.

Hotel close to center

The room was clean, shower and toilet ok. The kitchenette was ok except the dishwasher was in Dutch the frying pan was not for an electric plate ! The two beds were squeezed into a small room up against the wall on one side and maybe six inch space on the other. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn't go back to that hotel or recommend to friends !

I was upgraded to the apartments, which are short walk away from the main hotel but closer to the town centre. Overall the apartment was a decent standard and good for the 1 night I stayed. Beds were two single though rather than a double.

Convenient for the Hilversum Media Park

Convenient for the Hilversum Media Park, and also for the restaurants and bars of Hilversum town centre. It is probably the best hotel in Hilversum, but unfortunately, like all the big hotels in town it is operated by the same company Amrath. This lack of competition shows itself in price and in the tired and out-dated decor and facilities.

The room was noisy, could hear people above talking and walking around - due to no carpet underlay or insulation. Lighting was inadequate. Very uncomfortable chair for working. Towels smelled disgusting. Earplugs are essential. The staff constantly tried to practise their English on me even though I speak Dutch. Restaurant food is mediocre. Meat wasn't heated up properly. They only seem to be interested in saving money in this place.

This place is ok if your wanting a basic self contained apartment, wifi didn't work, no air conditioning and no lift so lifting suitcases to the 3rd story was not fun, staff came across rather rude.. Was very clean and fine for 1 night.. Also do note it is in a different building from where the address states and where you check in..

great value!

Wanted to go to Amsterdam, but it was way too expensive to stay that weekend. We were in the apartments of the hotel, which had a nice large floorplan, kitchen with the essentials, and was quiet. The bed sunk in in the middle and was curved up at the edges, so it was a bit uncomfortable, but manageable. The train was about a 10min walk, BUT if you don't have 11 euro on coins you can't get a ticket. The ticket machines don't take bills at that station, nor does it take Visa or MasterCard. Our 20min trip took us 1h30, which sucked.

Very comfortable but a bit noisy at night

Very comfortable room but I was disturbed by noise at night. I could hear the conversation from a neighbouring room as if it was taking place in my room. Very convenient if you are doing business in Mediapark or the Sportpark (ie Nike) but take earplugs.

Good value hotel.

Room fine and functional.very clean but small. Lighting poor, only one bedside light. Bed was underneath window which let in a very cold draught even when window tightly closed. We had to use a scarf to try to stop the draught.
Beds very comfortable. Free Internet and printing excellent so could check in on line for flight.

Very nice hotel with good neighbourhoods. BUT the breakfast were really expensive and with there nonhelping staff NOT worth a penny. Some of the breakfast were out of stock, and plates and such were missing. Most of the staff were really unkind.

Convenient Location but Staff Rude

We had 2 rooms but we had problems using the cards keys for the rooms as they didnt always respond. My friend was given a key to use by the receptionist in the morning. When we returned later that afternoon she asked if the door had been fixed or if she would need the key again the gentleman who was manning the reception desk was quite rude informing us that there had not been anything wrong with the door in the first place. He then also went on to question whether or not we had prepaid for our rooms as he thought the receptionist who booked us in hadn't checked, I politely told him that we had prepaid back in June but he insisted that we hadn't and made me stand and wait whilst he checked his records, when he found I was correct he didn't apologise just agreed that we had paid. I wouldn't have minded being questioned but his attitude was very short and abrupt. The same gentleman was also stood just outside the entrance door smoking most times we returned to the hotel which I thought slightly inappropriate. The hotel itself was clean and comfprtable and ideally situated for us as we were visiting friends in Hilversum. We didn't eat as breakfast was very expensive at 14 euros per person per day.

Quiet area but very close to the centre

The hotel was fine without being spectacular. Ticked all the boxes for what I needed. Just one issue was that you had to control the heating so when I arrived late to the hotel, my room was freezing. I made sure to drop back to my room the next evening to turn it on before I went for dinner.

Hotellet ligger i villakvarter i roligt område ca. 15 minutters gang fra stationen, hvilket passede os godt, da vi skulle derfra dagligt. Hotellet har restaurant og bar, morgenmaden var god og betjeningen venlig. Enkeltværelset var ikke stort, men stort nok til at indeholde skrivebord, to stole og et klædeskab samt sengebord med lampe. Badeværelset var kæmpestort med masser af skabsplads og to håndvaske.
Jeg savnede en minibar, og havde ikke behøvet at få skiftet håndklæder hver dag.

Matig voor zakelijk verblijf

Hotel is ok. Voor zakelijk geen hoogvlieger. Wel goed genoeg. Veel lawaai van nabijgelegen spoor. Voor 6u00 hoor je de slagbomen al. En met geluk stopt het voor 24u00. Hotel bestaat uit 2 delen. Mijn kamer lag in een verbouwd klooster. Ik kan me niet uitspreken over de andere locatie.
Beperkt ontbijt. We hebben zelfs ontbijt moeten overslaan omwille van te druk. Er was een te grote groep geboekt, welke volgens mij een hotel zoals dit hier niet optimaal is op aangepast. Dit is zeker wel een goed hotel om te verblijven. Mijn ervaring was echter niet heel positief. Mijn collega dacht er hetzelfde over, en zou niet meer terugkeren omwille van het spoorlawaai. Wel heb je zeer ruime kamers, mogelijkheid om te koken. Wil je verse lakens/handdoeken, dan is er de mogelijkheid om je eigen was te doen... niet bepaald iets waar we op zaten te wachten.

El hotel está bastante bien,lo único que no tiene ascensor, por lo menos en la zona del hotel en la que me hospedado, pero bueno quitando eso, está cerca del centro de Hiversum donde hay sitios para comer y tiendas. También queda a 30-40 minutos de Ámsterdam por lo que es bastante fácil poderse mover.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad van twee nachten. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij, het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum en is in een rustige wijk gelegen. De kamers en bedden zijn prima. Fijn dat er een raam open kon. We hebben lekker ontbeten in het gezellige restaurant en het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid. Ons enige punt van commentaar zou zijn dat €20 voor het ontbijt redelijk aan de prijs is, want hoeveel eet je nu daadwerkelijk? Overall zijn we heel tevreden en zullen we een volgende keer weer voor dit hotel kiezen.

Prima verblijf voor 1 nacht. Beetje gedateerd hotel. Kussens waren vreselijk, echt aan vervanging toe. Bedden waren ook slecht, zakte je erg doorheen. Kamer op zich was ruim, maar vloerbedekking en geen airco en koelkastje op de kamer. Douche thermostaat was niet te verstellen, kwam alleen heet water uit.. knop zat vast.

Uitstekend hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Dit hotel is op loopafstand van het Mediapark en daardoor qua locatie erg fijn. Een klein minpuntje is vloerbedekking dat wel veranderd mag worden in iets dat minder allergieën kan opwekken.
