Electronic key box was not working after hours. That was a bit inconvenient waiting in the rain and cold. Luckily I had help from a staff member who was walking by

It's very basic, and its a bit of a pot-luck what room you get. In this case, we had a room downstairs at the back, which has open windows upon a street. Anyone walking by therefore can look inside the room which is not always the easiest. It would make sense, IOO, that windows are partially blinded out so it makes it 'feel' a bit more private.
For the rest, location wise, its fantastic. We didn't have the breakfast, so I can't really comment on that part, but, we did find it a bit disconcerting that their key locker, in essence to be used after 20:30-21:00, can be used by anyone, because when we arrived, our names where displayed on an A4 above the key-lock box, with instructions how to open and extract key to the assigned room....

Much improved from our last stay which was in a “cosy” room. That was small with and uncomfortable bed. This luxury room was a good size with a much larger shower room. It was on the ground floor on the road and there was some noise at night but this was not a major problem. The new breakfast facilities were very good. We will stay there again.

Room service cleaned our room, always refilled missing items without having to ask for example tissue papers.
The staff was kind, being pregnant, I asked for a well-done omelette, and they made one for happily.

The hotel was close to the train station, as well as two major grocery stores.

Booked a “cosy” room, not really knowing what that meant. The room was very small and not at all cosy. The bed was uncomfortable and the absence of carpets made the building very noisy when guests were moving around in nearby rooms. On the third night there was a bright light on all night outside our window which even came around the blackout curtain which made sleeping even more difficult. We did mention these things to the staff in the morning as there is nobody on reception at night.
We are likely to return but would upgrade the room, or book a studio directly with the hotel.

The bathroom walls were a bit dirty when I first arrived, and though they came to clean the bathroom after my first night, I’m very sure they didn’t touch the bedroom at all. I’m not sure if this is normal or not for a hotel in NL, but it wasn’t the best to come back to an unmade bed. When they said room service daily, I was expecting the bed and such to be part of that.
The rooms also have very thin walls, so other people are very audible. It can be really distracting. The staff are really helpful and kind, and check-out was incredibly smooth.

Great place to stay in a beautiful Dutch town. The room was clean and refreshed each day. Breakfast was good quality with lots of choices. I would have liked to have had a kettle and cups in the room to have a hot drink in the evenings, however. This might be a very English thing! Weesp - we discovered it's pronounced, 'Vaysp' to English ears, is well located a short train ride to Amsterdam.

We booked a room for 3 persons. Even by European standards, the room was impossibly small. No air conditioning. No window. It did have a door that opened out on a sketchy alley behind a bar, no screen. The room was not clean. A filthy fan was provided. The hotel is advertised as having parking but it DOES NOT. You may or may not be lucky enough to find a spot on the street.
There were some positives. Breakfast was fresh and ample. I feel we over payed for this stay and would not go back.

All good until the barman pocketed a 100 euro drinks slate for the Ajax supporters. Asked many and none had a drink on the English man, I settled the account on leaving . very disappointed for them all. Sorry we couldn't have a drink together . Perfect hotel in a cute town
I had a great experience staying here! The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean as well. The hotel was right on a canal and Weesp is an adorable town! The hotel is only a 10 min walk from the train station and only a 15 min train ride to Amsterdam Centraal station. There is also a train line directly to and from the airport. Highly recommend!!!

Had a bad experience for 2 nights. The fire control panel was between first 2 lower rooms and I was unfortunate to be in 2 nd room, when the alarm sounded all night on the second night. Very little sleep as it kept beeping every 40 minutes, all night. No apologies or small token for inconvenience, no information relayed whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend staying here as they didn't seem to appreciate wanting international visitors. Sorry just my opinion. Male hotel manager didn't seem friendly.

Many friends and family had booked this one and only hotel in London since we were arrived for a special birthday party. For the size and condition of the room, it was pricy. Other family members had better or much worse rooms for the same price! Perhaps it will improve once refurbishment works are completed.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. We love it due to the location in the small and very picturesque village of Weesp. Access to Amsterdam Centraal is very easy via train in around 15 minutes. The family room is large and good value. The location on the canal and in the heart of the village is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This second time they were undergoing renovations, which started at 7:00am, which was a little too early. However overall we would definitely return yet again.

Weesp is very nice staying place. As we need to leave very early in the morning when there was no trains (starts after 6 am) yet and the taxi was quite expensive (Weesp Amsterdam). If possible then plan your trip betterly.

We normally stay in a typical local hotel in the city centre, like st Nicholas, but it was booked out. Prices at other central hotels were so outrageous that we took the opportunity to look for a typical local hotel in the surrounding towns, and were very pleased to find this hotel, only 20 minutes from Centraal.

First and foremost, it was impossible to book a hotel for Amsterdam and this was our only option to go with. When researching this hotel, it said that it was 7 minutes away from the city and located within walking to restaurant and attractions.
When we first arrived, the taxi took us to the wrong address because there is another location with the same address but different cities. So, if staying here please made aware that its in another city.
On the confirmation email and on through Travelocity, it states check in starts at 11 a.m. Upon our arrival, the staff informed me that this was wrong information and I would not be able to check in till 2. It was an inconvenience because we didn't have anywhere to stay with our luggage for the mean time. Luckily, we were able to leave our luggage while we killed time.
After this we checked in. The rooms were fine it was comfortable enough when we were jetlagged and needed a place to stay but nothing fancy.
The next morning, we had their breakfast which was delightful and the best part of staying there. I communicated with the hosts that we need for them to book us a taxi for the airport. They informed me that Taxis do not work over the weekend in Weesp but they would try. At this point, we were not very pleased with the services. I arrived at the hotel quite late in the night. Pleasant surprise to find instructions on how to get my key to the room.
The hotel is small but offers everything I wanted. Weesp is a great small town. Not close to Amsterdam, but with often trains going back and forth to Amsterdam.
The only negative is during the nights, if you don't return by 3am (if I remember correct), there is no train. Only taxis, or stay up until 6 to wait for the next train.

What a pleasant stay in a small town! Far exceeded our expectations! Breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean and spacious. About a 3 minute walk to the train station. We enjoyed some of the World Rugby Cup at a local pub who even played Irish music while we rooted for the Irish! Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. I thought it was a brilliant little place with lovely staff. A canal right outside the front door where at times you can watch the boats pass. We arrived late and our key was made available to us well after hours. The people here genuinely like to make u feel comfortable here and as long as his place remains open it will be the place we will be staying at whenever we come to Amsterdam again.
The only thing I think could have made it better is if I had, had a kettle in my room for at night when we came back.
