Stayed here for a few nights last weekend. Hoyle was so nice and staff were so welcoming. Couldn’t fault the hotel. Hotel is right at the train station which takes you to and from central and many other places, it was so handy and great location

Smooth check in experience, with very nice staff. I booked this property specifically so I didn't have to trek very far to the concert I was going to, and the nightly rate when I was going was an incredible value for being so close to the concert halls. In general, the location is great for getting into the city, the airport, or even if you don't want to go very far, there are several places to eat, shop, or groceries. The buffet breakfast in the morning was a great touch too.

The staff were lovely, the location was perfect. Breakfast and hotel were great. But the reason we book a hotel is to have somewhere to sleep and the beds were horrendous the mattress on the bed was solid and lump, the sofa bed had a massive dip in the middle and the mattress can only be described as sheet thin. The bathroom had mould round the sink and on the floor with dried water stains under the sink. The walls in the hotel room were covered in marks and some pencil drawings. The curtains had what looked like moth holes all over them stopping them from being blackout as there was so much light shinning through the many holes. The noise from neighbouring rooms was horrendous you could hear every word all night long. As a building and location ideal as somewhere to sleep terrible.

Litlle problem at check out … they didn’t found the payment of vat and taxes.. She already pais at the arriva… a bit annoying when someone told you that you didn’t paid but that you paid at arrival…

Hotel staff very friendly upon arrival and room exceptionally clean, unfortunately bed was very firm so didn’t have the best nights sleep. Breakfast had a reasonable selection, so there was something for everyone, the best cup of coffee ever in a hotel!
Hotel so close to the Metro was very easy to get into Amsterdam centre and extremely convenient for the concert at AFAS Live that our stay was booked for.

Internet was slow. I’d booked this trip as a birthday present for my partner, all of this information I had put on the special requests section when booking! I had asked for something nice to be done for my partners birthday, like a happy birthday slate being put in the room for example. This request was never even mentioned or actioned. Breakfast poor with limited options.
Bed felt like we were sleeping on a rock! My back is now in bits!
Overall not a great stay!

Clean room, lovely staff. Room was quiet and good for our stay. We came for a concert at the arena, so it was convenient however please note everything around the area closes early, so later on there are no restaurants or food options available unless you go to McDonald or Burger King. Also be careful as evening can be scary with lots of homeless people around. But good connections into the city and the airport.

Avoid hotel as they are speculating in overbooking- arrived at hotel for 2 nights in evening at 10 and have booked another hotel for a day where I had to go back the day after.

Reason - football event and it happens sometimes.

Was 2 people when I arrived with the same info - the New hotel I found hair on the bed and had to get a new roam.

Response - no compensation, no upgrades - some points after e-mail dialog first basically said something which wasn’t true to explained why they didn’t write in advance.

I’m heavy traveler and the first hotel where it’s a hard NO in the future

We were given the erong room - a twin, when we booked a queen. They sorted it out OK, but it was a faff.
All the later breakfast times were gone (you had to pick a time) so we ended up having to have a very early breakfast.

Amazing experience for visiting Amsterdam. This location is literally IDEAL. Outside hotel there’s an outdoor mall that has shops & tons of dining options. 50 feet other direction is entrance to the train/metro. Even went to soccer game at arena which was another 50 feet away. That alone is worth it, but the rooms are truly great quality. Comfy beds, nice shower, breakfast buffet is superb. Tons of hot/ cold options & very plentiful, always refilling what’s empty.

Must include the warm hospitality @ this establishment. I was super fortunate to have Reyhan help me out throughout the check in process & stay. She was very kind, friendly, patient & gave the very best recommendations/advice on what to do. She pointed out the best cocktail bar in town & landmarks to see. Everyday she would politely check in w/ me as I passed by to see how my experience was going & continuously offered her help. I was more than happy to receive such warmth & care, I will be back because of her

Otroligt dålig frukost, inga alternativ i princip. De kokta äggen var kalla och med svart kant runt gulan. Inget bacon, ingen marmelad. Ingen juice. När man jämför med frukostar på hotell i Sverige så blir man otroligt besviken.

Dejligt ophold i værelse til 5 personer. Hotellet er rent og pænt. De ansatte er meget høflige og imødekomne både i reception og ved morgenmaden. Morgenmadsområdet er rent og pænt, og de ansatte er hurtige til at rydde op. Dog er udvalget af morgenmad ikke det mest spændende. Men alt i alt et dejligt ophold.

Excellent hotel to stay in. Staff couldn’t do enough to help, friendly and very knowledgeable. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a very good spread of both hot and cold food. Excellent location 200 m from the train station and Metro so couldn’t be easier to get to it. Plenty of eating houses around the area and there are discount vouchers in the lobby which can be used toward reducing the cost of your food when you’re going out to eat

The service of the staff was awesome they are all polite nice and always provide help if needed. They are all friendly. The only problem is the hotel it self probably needs a renovation or deep clean. We were in a room where the sink and the shower drain is not draining we had to request to be moved to a different room. Good thing the receptionist was kind enough to move us right away. As much as i appreciate the staff inyhink their is better hotels to find. Location is close to the train station but at least 30-45 mins away from the amsterdam city center.

Last min stay in Amsterdam Zuidoost

I needed to book a last minute stay for some family members. Staff were very helpful. Room was large and clean. My family did say the breakfast was simple but enough for them.
If you need a hotel with access to all types of public transport, these is a great place to stay. I find it a bit dead for night owls or people seeking after party fun. There is a small bar in the hotel. Plenty of good food choices around the hotel for most budgets. Going out to events means you are near by Arena, Pathe Cinema, Ziggo Dome and Afas are at your doorstep. We will use this hotel again for family.

Clean room decent breakfast and great location. This is the perfect location for those visiting Amsterdam as it’s very close 5 minutes walk from the train station. Venturing away from the hotel there a bucket loads of shops such as Lidl Cinnabon and a host of other eateries. It’s a decently priced high street with all dietary requirements catered for. The hotel could do with a vending machine for drinks etc

Took over 20 minutes to check in,over 30 mins to get room key updated when I extended my stay.Front desk staff understaffed waited 30 mins at the bar eventually a gentleman served me who had actually clocked off and was going home.

My room was very comfortable and I had a very good view of the square and the festival which was held on the Saturday. Staff at the Hotel were very helpful, friendly and polite, however there were a few who could smile more. Reception staff should explain to guest use of card to operate the lift. Special Thanks to Melvin who was very helpful in helping me to organize a boat trip. I would like to suggest that maybe there could be a fridge in the room, and also some slippers, larger towels in bathroom maybe a small sofa, where guest could relax, and a better variety of teas, and water. Restaurant staff were very polite and helpful. Housekeeping very good. Overall I had a good stay and would stay again, due to the location of all other transport and amenities.

Fort déçue. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits. Lorsque nous sommes rentrés dans notre chambre vers 20h le deuxième jour, la chasse du wc coulait en continu de sorte que la toilette était inutilisable et que c'était extrêmement bruyant. La réception nous a dit ne pouvoir procéder à la réparation que le lendemain et ne pas avoir d'autre chambre disponible... Avec tout ce bruit, notre seconde nuit fut horrible. Par ailleurs, je regrette un tel gaspillage d'eau.

Highly recommend if you don’t need car parking.

Great. Slightly on the higher side for expense, but fantastic location, fabulous breakfast and welcoming staff. Car parking is €35 a night, which is wildly expensive, and the pillows were of a poor quality so I awoke with neck ache. Otherwise we had no complaints and would highly recommend.

We also want to point out that one of our party took ill and the staff kindly allowed us to keep our room to 15:00 to allow them to sleep and recover which was very much appreciated!!!

I have to say I have traveled to a lot of hotels and especially Hiltons, this one was terrible. When we first arrived we were offered 8 drinks not to clean or sheets. We accepted as one probably only have to clean our room once.We could not find the receipt later that evening after arriving at 3pm that day. I went to reception and said we could not find our voucher that we got 3 hours prior. The girl said it should only be 4 drinks. I was not happy with this and said to clean the room. The next day we all went out for the day. When we came back one bed was changed ( not very well) and the other bed not touched. No extra towels for the four of us not changed. I went to reception again said bed was not done and towels. Not at all apologetic offered drinks again declined this and said you can get towels in some room beside reception. Terrible service,,

Great hotel, perfect for travelling into the centre as its 2mins walk from the train station. Good breakfast but the options are the same every day.
Our room was huge but I dont think that is normal from the floor plan but we appreciated the extra space.

When I called from the states, the person I spoke with said parking was included. Renushka (?) told me I could pay it at the end of my stay to which I said “okay, that’s fine.” Then she suddenly said “Actually, you have to pay it now.” She gave me attitude when I asked why not say that initially instead of saying I could pay on my final day. Very strange conversation with her.

Mattresses were also incredibly hard and my electricity kept going out randomly. I woke up twice to my phone having died during the night causing me issues in the morning when I had appointments I had to get to.

Estadia muito boa! Quarto confortável e limpo. Hotel muito bem localizado, ao lado da estação de trem. Funcionários atenciosos e simpáticos.
O único inconveniente foi o alarme de incêndio. Nesse momento faltou orientação de funcionários do hotel tanto para evacuar o hotel, como para retornar. Não foi informado nem o que estava acontecendo.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Boulevard Arena and you have a train/metro stop just steps away that will take you to all the Amsterdam action in less than 15 minutes. Macarena in reception had the best attitude and recommendations always A+ service from her.

I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Amsterdam for three nights and, unfortunately, it fell short of expectations.

Breakfast was okay. There was only one working coffee machine, which caused frustrating queues each morning. For a hotel of this size, this seemed poorly managed.

The room itself was a letdown. The bathroom had visible mould in the grout, which was off-putting and suggested a lack of thorough cleaning. The bed was equally disappointing – the mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. I actually woke up each morning with back pain.

On a positive note, the staff were friendly and courteous throughout my stay, which was appreciated.

Kamer bevat bijna alles, mist een kleine koelkast vooral nodig in de zomer. Kamers mogen wel wat luxer voor de prijs die je betaald. Receptie hele tijd aan het zuchten vooral de Engels sprekende dames. Jammer dat men er meteen vanuit gaat dat iedereen een toerist is, en meteen in het Engels begint te praten. Duty manager loopt gewoon weg van de balie terwijl er iemand heen loopt. Ontbijt mager geen dienbladen meer aanwezig. Dames daar wel aardig.
