Not Easy but did the job for 1 night stay

Check in was very slow and certainly not easy, then only 1 lift working and reception was packed with guests. Also never took my Amex card as payment which was frustrating. The best bit was the lovely housekeeping lady who helped me get my Green Day wristband off which was hurting me - Thankyou

Functional with no frills

This is a budget-friendly hotel. The room is very small, but comfortable. The bed was against the window with a small TV on the wall, but the bed was a very comfortable double. It has a small pull-down table that you can use as a very small desk, with a plastic chair, but it worked fine for my business needs. The bathroom was small but functional and the shower was great. There is a small slot behind the mirror attached to the desk/table with four hangars to hang a few suits. The window sill and table were a little dirty but other than that the room was clean. Again if you want budget and functional, this room was perfect. They have lockers in the hall where you an store your luggage for a fee if needed but no safe. No gym, tea or coffee in room, refrigerator, etc. but again, budget friendly and functional. I will stay here again next year for my conference.

Not in the most beautiful part of Amsterdam but handy for the arena and metro station across the street. Basic room but decent bed and helpful staff. Offers better value for money than hotels in centre but be prepared to use public transport. Would definitely use again if looking for a budget break.

Front desk staff of Paul and Nikki were extremely helpful and welcoming and left a very strong positive impression. Hotel is walking distance to the Metro and National Rail lines for easy access to the airport or city center. Beside a supermarket as well. Overall a pleasant stay. One negative is that the shower does not drain fast enough.

Ideal location for the concert.

The location of the hotel was excellent for what we needed.

Staff were friendly on arrival ans check in waa easy.

We chose a small double and was ideal.
However the room was freezing. We tried to use the fan heater but room wouldnt warm up. The gentleman on reception did then help when we advised.
The bathroom has a little lip at the front on the floor and in the dark you can not see it so i stubbed my toe really badly and something needs to be put on it to make it visible

Stayed here after flying to Amsterdam prior to travelling onto to Dusseldorf in Germany. Typical easy hotel, check in quick, room ok. Location was handy for the arena and the station. A little pricy considering there was nothing on at the arena.

We stayed here for the Eras Tour concert which was the Johan Cruijff Stadium, literally a minutes next door. So it was extremely convenient. However one of the hotel elevators was defective and this caused a lot of traffic during busy times. The hotel should have anticipated this and have it fixed in the shortest space of time. Comparing hotels in the US, value for money at these hotels are Europe is terrible. Rooms are extremely small and the prices are literally more than double that of US hotels which offer better quality. But there isn’t much of a choice in Europe unless you are willing to do those cheap share with others Air BNBs etc. So I guess it’s a choice to make. But other than terrible value for money, the hotel and staff was good.

Cheap hotel with train and metro stations 30 second walk away. Rooms are clearly just wiped down, sheets changed and hoovered but still very dusty with floor ‘seasoning’ still visible. Only one very flat pillow for each bed. Otherwise, convenient hotel if you’re not a princess requiring home comforts.

Great location for Ziggo Dome with good transport

Stayed here for a gig at the Ziggo Dome, perfect location for the arena with easy links to the city and airport. Very basic but for the price it was expected. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly. The only negative was the noise in the morning, the cleaners themselves were very quiet and considerate but the rooms are very echoey so the noise of the hoover and moving things around just travels through the corridor. Can’t be helped but something to consider if you like a lie in!

Basics such as drinking glasses, hairdryer not in room. Only 1 pillow per person. No value for money, only positive was the close proximity to Ziggo. Confusion during check in whether room was paid for through hotels.com as shown on the app - i had to then pay at checkin. Early checkout at 10.

The hotel should make the curtains wider, at least wide enough being able to cover the windows. It is aweful that we had to try to drag the curtains back and forth trying to cover the windows. For the price paid, I would expect a better amenities in the hotel room.

Replace the missing hangers on the hanging rack. The whole rack in our room only has two hangers. Rest are all missing.

Never stayed in the hotel charging extra money for early checkin. It is totally new to me. Learned something new

The music from outside hotel played so loud until 1:30 AM for both nights we stayed there, terrible!!!

This hotel is in a perfect location if you are going to a concert or game at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The venue entrance is right beside the hotel.

It's also almost right beside the train station and metro but it was never loud. It's about half an hour to Central station on the metro. Quicker and more comfortable on the inner-city rail (but more expensive, of course). Two stops away from the airport. Itf you're a runner, it's also close to Nelson Mandelapark. So the location is great.

But location is basically all you're paying for at this hotel. It's barely above a hostel. Cramped room, shower facility doesn't drain properly so we flooded the bathroom every time we showered. They'll only clean your room every four nights -- the front desk staff was kind enough to get our room cleaned after the second night. You have to go downstairs to ask for a towel. The bare basics.

I had an amazing time at the hotel. I was greeted on arrival with friendly and helpful staff.
The room was a nice size and homely. Both the room and bathroom were clean and cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable.
If I needed anything, for example extra towels, all I needed to do was send text and that request was supplied.
I will definitely stay here again when I return to Amsterdam.

Would have been 10/10 if it wasn’t for the shockingly rude receptionists that laughed in my face when I asked for an extra pillow. She said ‘we don’t have pillows here’ and laughed again. Nothing major to some but it’s what i’ll remember as there we no pillows in our room and we had to use jumpers

Slightly far away from the city centre but one metro will get you there (roughly 10 stops). Comfy, clean rooms. Staff are friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again

Good if you are looking for a bed.

amazing location, poor facilities in so far no breakfast lounge, telephone and tea and coffee making equipments. Windows are missing handles so unable to open the window, the bathroom is ok but shower water takes time to drain.

It would have been nice to know in advance that luggage storage here is for a fee (on the Hotels.com website, it only says 'luggage storage').

Decent hotel uses varied prices.

2 minute walk from Biljmer Area metro on a left diagonal from Metro exit. Clean basic no frills hotel convenient to Metro M54 line. Easy ride into Amsterdam. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Prices can vary a lot so reserve ahead. I paid from 68 euros to 98 euros on separate reservations. A walk in one night had to pay 161 euros.

I like the closeness to the Arena footballstadium and concert venues. Room was good and clean. Staff was friendly but distant, except for the guy who did the check out. Strange thing was that they spoke English to me while I am Dutch and Amsterdam is also in the Netherlands. Bit pricey though

Easy does it. You won't confuse it with a Marriott, but that would be plainly beside the point, as it offers very good value for the price, and the location is brilliant, in 2 minutes you can be on the train if you are so inclined. Happy camper.

I booked this hotel for a night. My friend went with her husband to a convention so they stayed in a hotel provided by employer so I looked at the cheapest closest hotel to her so we could explore Amsterdam together. This hotel was great…super clean, staff was wonderful, close to transportation to Amsterdam and if you book this to go to the stadium for any event it is literally right next to it. Also for the price it cannot be beat. Would stay again for sure!

Best thing about the EasyHotel is the location. Perfectly located for visiting the Ajax football stadium and Ziggo Dome, the hotel is only 15 minutes by train from Schiphol Airport and 15 minutes from Central Amsterdam by tram. Definitely a 'no frills' hotel, rooms are very basically furnished with views of a large car park. Check in is after three pm and check out by 10am, although late checkout (1pm) is available for an extra €15 - what happened to the normal checkout time of 12 noon?

Charged my booking twice and did not fully refund

Firstly, the hotel overcharged me by £564, and after a week of telephone calls and emails back and forth I was refunded £36 less than the amount that was overcharged, this is unacceptable and disgraceful. I booked six rooms for a business trip and all guests complained that the rooms were dirty and uncomfortable. This hotel has soured my opinion of hotels.com

.The room was clean and close to the station Reception were a little gruff and unfriendly. The machines to get water from were also a little tempermental when using a credit card and quite difficult to use. the window blinds need changing as they had holes in them!

The hotel was good, but the price is quite high for us. It is indeed one of the cheapest hotels we could find, but based on exchange rates (Canada) it’s still a bit pricy.

The beds were comfortable, the water was a bit inconsistent in it’s hot/cold flow, and more blankets/a sheet would have been nice. The window covers gonna keep our light bit it’s clear that previous guess have poked holes in them and they haven’t been replaced.

You only get one housekeeping visit during your stay (which is fine with us). As a place to sleep and not really hang out in, the hotel is great. Would be ideal for football fans.

Transit is a 2 minute walk and the metro into the city is 15 mobiles or so; the airport is a similar distance away.

Adyacent to arena parking an park and ride available.

Did not like that bathroom is not clean.
No daily cleaning.
Staff does not know about the park and ride option that allows you to pay 1€ per day rate for up to 4 days at the arena park and ride.

This hotel is right next to the train station and the areana. Traveling alone, I felt comfortable going to the areana alone... Also reasonably priced.
