Everything was great with the staff the cleanliness and the hotel. A few of the down sides, when we got there we got a city tax, it caught me by surprise. It probably says it somewhere in the documentation, but maybe as a UX they should let you know a bit more proactively. Also there is a construction next to the hotel as the writing of this review and they started to work at 7 am.

Great location for the Ziggo Dome
We had a problem straight away at check-in. We had booked a twin room in advance but on arrival we were told that there were more twins available, only one double. As we were friends and not a couple then this was not suitable. It was frustrating that the hotel had effectively given away our room!
Fortunately, the staff were able to resolve the problem by finding a twin room in the adjacent hotel which was connected and they gave us free breakfast vouchers.
Otherwise, the hotel was perfect for our needs, comfortable and very close the the Arena which was the purpose of our stay.
It was expensive, but comparable to the other hotels in the area.

Although there is limited transport near the hotel.. it’s a short walk to the metro station. The negative aspect was that the bathtubs stopper didn’t work and so could not have a bubble bath…and no water is provided by the hotel unless your a member of the hotel group.

We booked at the last minute as our flight got cancelled from Amsterdam. They accommodated us even though the booking has not reached them by the time we did. The hotel is nice, right next to holiday inn Express. Stay was comfortable, and front desk was helpful!

I moved to this hotel from another solely because it is within walking distance to the arena the concert I attended. Check was phenomenal despite the renovations that are happening presently. However, the restaurant staff and service was absolutely AWFUL! Having to motion for one’s attention for cutlery & a menu was only the start…from there I had to walk to the bar to request someone come to take my order. I watched everyone Caucasian person around me be waited on and serviced while my friend and I sat.
I could go on for days about this but I’ll spare you. Just a warning for Black and brown people avoid this hotel or proceed with caution knowing you will be stereotyped and treated horribly. I would attach the GM’s card…because you’ll need it if you choose to go but it goes against community guidelines for Hotels.com imagine that?!?!
Overall I rate my time in Amsterdam as a 4.5/10 with this hotel being a strong reason it’s not higher.

We had a great stay! Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. Less than a 5 minute walk to ArenaA. The area is safe, but it’s not very pretty. There are not a lot of dining options nearby. The Metro station is a 5 minute walk and will take you wherever you need to go. It’s about 20 minutes to City Centre via Metro. We had no issues traveling by bus or Metro each day.

Ongoing construction work in front of the hotel
Booked for 2 nights, didn't know construction work was going on right in front of the hotel. Our room was on the first floor and were awaken by a loud, rythmic thumping noise that made the floor shake. Couldn't go back to sleep, and the noose persisted intermittently through the day, so it was difficult to work from the hotel room. We had to ask to move rooms, which the hotel agreed to. The new room was much better. We wonder why the hotel didn't think of placing us there initially, since they said they were aware of the disturbance cause by the construction work, and the noise was audible from the reception. Staff was overall nice, bathroom was very clean.

Great hotel, but parking was a mess
We have stayed here before. Super close to the arena since we were there for an event. About a 20 minute drive to the city. The train is nearby but it was over an hour to get to where we wanted. Breakfast had a good selection and all employee were super nice. Downside was water pressure. It was so slow and it took twice as long to shower. And also the parking situation. We arrived to the parking lot the first evening and they had even parking there. We showed them our ticket and room key but nothing came from it. We didn't have to pay again but we got treated like other people who weren't guests. We got ushered to the back of the parking lot and there were plenty of spots open near the front of the hotel. Very frustrating since we should have been given priority and they should've removed the cones to let us pass since we were actual guests and not attending the event that night. I hope they improve this. But otherwise I would stay again.

I am very happy that i booked this hotel. I had a day trip for a concert and the event arena was right next to the hotel! Also the hotel is very close to the train station so if i took a longer trip i definitely would have went to the heart of Amsterdam. I will book next time for sure! Clean, staff were friendly and parking is on site around 25 euros a night. I dont think this can be beat because you will have to pay for parking no matter where you go here. It was a perfect stay.

Me and my mum went to a concert in Amsterdam and needed something that was near the Ziggo Dome so after looking decided this one was the best choice- it was within budget, close walk to the stadium and looked pretty decent. Upon arrival, we had a quick check in and were told the basics about the hotel. The room was absolutely amazing, and better than the images- with a safe and mini fridge. The second day we did not know what to do so phone the reception who told us some cool hotspots to visit and gave us information about travelling. The lady at reception was even kind enough to print the city map out, circling and listing all of the places she told us about. Me and my mum decided to go the city, which was 15/20 minutes on train from the hotel (perfect location), and what is even better is that the train station was close to the hotel. Once we reached our hotel room that night we found a cute note from the room cleaners. Everything about this hotel seemed to be perfect (even giving us free milk at 1am when we needed it).

My chief complaint is upon checking in to an Executive Room room it was 28 Celsius on September 29. U cannot control your own air conditioning. The room while wonderful and panoramic with 9 panels of glass, it was a hotbox. Sauna like. Epically hot. Four calls to front desk yielded no help. Not until my wife visited front desk to complain did we get a suitable response. We asked to move or refund our money. Staggering incompetent attempt at being green at the expense of guests who pay €232 euros plus a whopping city tax. Sup optimal to say the least. Spend the extra €100 and go elsewhere. I get being green. But when big brother controls the AC and I have to ask permission to lower the temperature this is unacceptable. Moreover, they say the will lower it and in fact do not. They moved us to another room that registered 21C•. Staggering again. We gave up. Never will return. As an aside at one point here was a queue with no less thean four other guests with same complaint. Horrible. Avoid. Contemplating disputing charge given all of the hours of woe.
