The staff were excellent - friendly, attentive and efficient. Super lovely and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and well set out. It’s walking distance to the train station and tram stop. Excellent location for a weekend break in Amsterdam. Easy to navigate to the centre. Would definitely book here again for future visits to Amsterdam. Thank you!

As this was a 24 hour turn around and my only experience in Amsterdam except on my way through to Abu Dhabi. I should have not gotten hotel so far out. Tried to change but no refunds. Even though I tried 3 weeks prior to return trip. And also the extra cost for taxes that I was not aware of.

Nice hotel away from the centre.

Hotel Casa is a lovely hotel. Check-in was done online before I arrived. Reception staff were warm and friendly. The lobby had an internet cafe vibe about it. The restaurant/ cafe looked nice although I did not use them>
My room was nice and spacious. I had a comfortable sleep as it was quiet with blackout curtains too. The fridge in my room came in handy and they have a fountain for topping up your water bottle in reception.

The location was perfect for me. It's out of the way from the centre but you can get there by Metro within 25 minutes. There a few good restaurants within walking distance, some further away from others. However, I was expecting more in the vicinity. Amstel Station and a large supermarket are just over 5 minutes walk away.

The hotel was good value in comparison to other hotels during the weekend I stayed

Overall, I definitely come back and would recommend if you want to stay outside the centre of Amsterdam.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel and it was ok. The hotel itself is well laid out with a large lobby that includes a self serve convenience store (you pick your items and self check out and pay for them). We didn't use this but they definitely had a decent selection of items from beer, wine, snacks to personal items you may need for your stay.

The hotel advertises as an eco friendly hotel. They did not provide water in the room but instead had a filling station in the lobby.

The shower in the room was not great. It was very hard to control the temperature and it was set so low that it was hard to actually get a consistent hot stream of water. Definitely a disappointment when travelling and doing alot of walking etc.

Only 1 of the 2 elevators in the building was working so this made for long waits, especially first thing in the morning.

The hotel is located about a 40 min walk from downtown Amsterdam, so would not say that it is convenient for walking (but we knew that when we booked).

This was an excellent place to stay at, and if i get the chance to visit Amsterdam again, I will seek this place again. From the very beginning, the staff was extremely friendly. They speak multiple languages and are willing to answer any relevant questions. The hotel is spacious, very clean, and very pleasant. Around the check in area, there is a built in convenience store with drinks, electronics, travel essentials, etc. Also connected to this, is the hotel's restaurant. The prices are fair and the food is beyond delicious. I cannot say anything but extremely good words about this place. Thank you to the entire staff.

We had 2 rooms and both were very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows and was very quiet - we slept really well. Shower was good. The metro and tram were a short walk with metro to central very quick. There is a free bag store if have a late flight. They have rental bikes and umbrellas (4EUR for 48 hours). Lidl close by for any essentials. Friendly staff.

Chose this hotel for the convenience of getting to a concert venue outside of town, which meant that it was a bit out of the way to visit the centre of Amsterdam during the day. The room itself was comfortable although the bathroom looked a bit outdated. Staff was very friendly and professional.

The property was fine, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was not very clean, especially in the sink it was quite gross. We also had trouble sleeping the second night as there was a very annoying wind tunnel sound that was happening all night long. We don’t know where it was coming from, we suspect the shower drain or the small fan above the shower. Staff were very friendly though and check-in/out was very easy.

Reception staff were amazing but room wasn't very clean.
Great location in Amstel where you can get train, tram or metro into central in 15 mins or so, not far from schipol either and felt safe around the area in the evenings as a pair of women in our 20's. Good for the money and location, and shoutout again to the friendly reception staff.

In terms of the cleanliness mentioned though, hairs all around and in the sink as well as the bed. No working shower gel dispenser. Requested house keeping who came and remade the bed but didn't appear to clean the bathroom, despite me putting a note on the request.

Very well-run hotel

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was also good, though it had less variety than the other hotels in which I stayed in the same trip, located in Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. The room was a comfortable size with a nice bathroom, and had a \"temperature regulation\" system, not AC. Since the weather was cool, this was not a problem.

The location is perhaps the least desirable for this hotel: It is walking distance (8mins with luggage) to a transit station, but outside of the center of Amsterdam.

Comfortable stay in eco friendly hotel

Spacious rooms with 2 individual beds, cupboard which had hanging space + shelves.
Neat and clean bathroom with towels , soaps, hair dryer provided.
The room did not have an AC , rather an intelligent bio cooling system which surprisingly worked well in August summers.
Overall a good and comfortable stay that does care for environmental impact.

Hotel Casa Amsterdam was perfect! Outside of Central Amsterdam but a quick trip on the Metro to Amstrel Station which is bus, train and tram. From the station it is a quick 5 minute walk! Steps from a trail on the canal, 5 min walk to the grocery store, 10 minute walk to the best sorbetto I have ever had!, many cafes and restaurants including in house at the hotel with roof top patio option! This place is clean, staff amazing and location was perfect’ can’t say enough about the ease of check in and check out. Would highly recommend to people visiting Amsterdam!

Short stay in Amsterdam

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon around Europe. We used the self check-in service which allowed us to choose which room we wanted. The city tax was confusing however and they took payment for this overnight automatically from our account, which was fine but it would have made more sense to pay it when we checked in.
The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, we had a meal in the main restaurant which was nice.

3. Lovely rooftop bar: drinks usual hotel price but cocktails are nothing special. Literally soda, spirit and a bit of ice.

3. Rooms very hot with no air conditioning. We stayed at the end of June and it was unbearable. Awful nights sleep on hard beds.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Casa Amsterdam, as it is very close to Amstel Station which connects you to the whole city and the intercity train network.

The rooms are small but well maintained, and the bathroom/shower facilities were in great condition.

While perhaps obvious, it should be noted that the hotel rooms do NOT have air conditioning. This is not particularly clear from the Expedia listing. Given that it was quite warm, and we were on the 9th floor, we did find it a little hot and humid. The supplied fan was helpful, but it was a bit of an unfortunate surprise when we realized upon check-in that there was no A/C.

All in all, I would stay there again and recommend the location in Amsterdam Oost.

Rooftop bar was great and had great views of Amsterdam. We had three days of over 30 weather and this hotel has no air conditioning. We did have a fan but honestly it was hot in my room my whole stay. Location was awesome as well .. close to great restaurants and an important transportation hub close by.

We were in a room with a door to the next room. The door isn’t well insulated. The guests next door must have been an elderly couple who were hard of hearing. They spoke on their speaker phone and we were able to hear the whole conversation. Plus they watched television at a high volume late into the night. We heard everything. It was hard for us to sleep.

I really liked it. It's a modern hotel with spacious common areas and spacious, minimalist-style accommodations. Amsterdam Amstel station is very close, providing easy access via public transportation to tourist attractions in Amsterdam and beyond. There's a Jumbo supermarket across the street from the station. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is reasonably priced but really good condition and very clean with comfortable beds. The hotel is close to tram stops and also a railway station so it was very easy to visit the city centre. The only comment we would make is that the rooms don’t have air con (because of the hotel’s sustainability initiatives) which meant that our room was quite warm during our stay in May. Overall a great stay.
