Not what I expected from pictures shown on booking. Rooms were very small and shower water gets everywhere in the bathroom so be ready for wet floors. Ask for extra towels for the floor. Had to change rooms since the first room the shower water flooded part of the room.

We loved our stay at Boutique Hotel Oosteinde! It’s in a great location - easy to get to and from the airport, and it’s very close to multiple tram lines so you can get around easily. The area is quiet and peaceful, but it’s also a very short walk away from spots like the Albert Cuyp Market and areas for shopping and eating. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we checked in. Our room was spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. Highly recommend!

Essentially no amenities or staff at property. Staff was also not flexible or accommodating. Price is very high for what you are getting, which is a low-level budget experience in my opinion. Soap, bed sheets, towels, A/C units are all very cheap. Location is just OK.

The hotel is in a quieter area of Amsterdam but close enough to walk to major attractions. A grocery store (Lidl) is just across the street, on the opposite corner, and many great restaurants are close by. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Easy check in/check out and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want a more comfortable and quieter stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the double air con room. Room was very spacious and clean which is important to me. Aesthetically pleasing. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighbourhood. It was conveniently located to grocery stores (Lidl and Albert Heijn), public transit and very walkable to city centre about 15-20 minutes. Only thing to keep in mind there is No fridge in rooms or elevator (in area that I stayed) but that didn’t bother me. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in Amsterdam and this hotel met our expectations! The location is close enough to the city center, either by foot or using the tram public transportation. Staff was helpful, room was clean and cleaned well daily. We slept great!

This hotel was relatively comfortable. Pros: relatively quiet, not too from from the center city, decent beds. Cons: poor lighting in the rooms, hairdryer didn't work, poorly draining shower, vaguely surly front desk staff. No soundproofing between the toilet room and the rest of the room; zero privacy for 2 guests sharing. The bathroom essentially opens into the room. Also vastly overpriced for the quality. I am paying less to spend an entire week in Oslo.

So, if you have a lot of luggage and/or mobility issues, you may want to reconsider this property. The location is nice. The room was very clean and presented in a pleasing manner. Having no air conditioning meant that we slept with the window open which allowed a couple of mosquitoes into the room. The hotel is hardly placed with a good selection of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The manageress was very helpful as we found out about a train strike the day before our leaving. She booked a couple of bus tickets for us.

We arrived at 2 am and had checked out by 4 am. The room was not air conditioned, it was tiny, there was stagnant water in the shower, the drain did not work, and there was a bad smell. We were creeped out. The hotel refused to refund any of the 4 days we had booked. We were very disappointed we it’s their response.

Very modern hotel which captured my attention straight away however very disappointing that we were put into the ground floor room right next to the door. Extremely loud and noisy which woke us up every night at 5:30am with people leaving the building and building world going on over the road. Room was not as described as it was a lot smaller than the pictures shows including a very loud and unstable toilet door that makes a sound that the glass door will smash every time you touch it. If that wasn’t enough the shower was a disgrace, you have to find the right ‘sweet spot’ on the dial to stop it dripping constantly. Every day we was trying to stop the drips for an hour!!!

Great large room, very spacious, loved high ceiling. strange design decision to put shower behind a wall with no doors and toilet behind a glass door, bet Everything was usable. If it’s a couple stay then it’s fine, if it would be not a couple staying in the room then it would be awkward as when you come out of the shower there is no privacy or space at all to sort yourself out.

Good location, really easy to get to the centre either walking or taking the tram /metro.
The windows are single glazed so if you're a light sleeper I wouldn't book this place as you would hear people talking in the streets, cars passing by etc. There's also there's huge building site opposite which start working 7am.

Hotel double charged me , and then tried to deny it till I showed it on my phone , also the hotel's website is so outdated with information, that you really need to know before you stay here like the 150 euros deposit and then taxes , rude female receptionist , rooms were no issueb, cleaned first night then neglected rest of stay , bed clothes not changed at all , just this is a very badly owned hotel chain with no help or customer care , still trying to get back my deposit , oh and also they will try and steal money off you by using the exchange rate to there advantage

On the minus side : the bed was really terrible ! We were offered what was initially supposed to be a double bed but ended up actually being two singles badly pushed together with a very thin mattress topper. We ended up sinking in the middle and the sheets coming constantly apart.
On another hand please note that the bathroom is directly in the bedroom.. which isn’t always to everyone’s liking.
If you’re hitting the town and looking for somewhere to crash late at night this is for you.. if you are looking for comfort and refinement look somewhere else.

Quick trip to Amsterdam at PH Hotel.
We enjoyed our stay but didn't like the fact that the bathroom was in the bedroom. Made things a little awkward for my daughter. Also, the beds are way too soft and pillows were too big for us. Maybe slightly picky but this is my opinion. Having said all that, we did enjoy our stay in Amsterdam but would probably pick a hotel slightly closer to the centre next time just for convenience.

The room has character but it does get noisy, we were on the third floor and we could constantly hear banging and the old lift (lift gives character but is very old and noisy).
On the first night, we had called downstairs to reception to ask if someone could look at our tv which appeared to be broken. We were told someone would come to look at it however, an hour went by and nobody came upstairs so we called again, to be told no one will be coming until tomorrow.
We had left the room in the morning to go to get some food, we came back in the afternoon to find the TV still wasn’t working, we had left the remote under a pair of jeans and it was still there, so nobody came to look. When we checked out we raised this concern and the lady on reception said someone is here to look at it now, although it was quite obviously too late.
Location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes to Rembrandt square and overall cleanliness was ok but a lot of dust & water left in the kettle from previous guest, so we washed it out just to make sure.
We wouldn’t stay here again.
On the first night, we had called downstairs to reception to ask if someone could look at our tv which appeared to be broken. We were told someone would come to look at it however, an hour went by and nobody came upstairs so we called again, to be told no one will be coming until tomorrow.
We had left the room in the morning to go to get some food, we came back in the afternoon to find the TV still wasn’t working, we had left the remote under a pair of jeans and it was still there, so nobody came to look. When we checked out we raised this concern and the lady on reception said someone is here to look at it now, although it was quite obviously too late.
Location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes to Rembrandt square and overall cleanliness was ok but a lot of dust & water left in the kettle from previous guest, so we washed it out just to make sure.
We wouldn’t stay here again.

Although I requested to be put on a floor above ground level 2 weeks before my check in date, the hotel didn’t meet this request and was rather rude when I made a complaint. The reason for moving was I had read reviews saying it was quite noisy on the ground floor as your street level or in my case next to a car park. However the noise wasn’t the issue it was early hours in the morning when people from other houses would walk into the car park to smoke and the smell of cigarettes kept making its was into our room even with the windows shut. The was quite unpleasant and quite frequent. When contacting hotels.com regarding my request of a room on the higher floor not being met, the hotel reception desk emailed me a very cheeky, in my opinion, email to which I interpreted it as they were calling me a liar. All things considered, the stay was quite.

This hotel is beautiful and in a nice quiet location. Beds are comfortable and the hotel itself is lovely and clean. The room smelt a bit like drains but that's to be expected in a city that's full of water and canals.
The kettle and nespresso machine were a nice touch although the nespresso machine in our room was broken and took some effort to get working (i think the capsules weren't right for the machine)

I would not recommend this property. Our room was not as described, we were in a basement room with a very dangerous curved staircase as the only access. The room had bars on the windows and looked directly at dumpsters and cars were parked up to the window. Room was not clean, bed was not as promised and it certainly wasn't safe for any time of emergency egress.

What a gem! Great hotel, in lovely area, walkable distance to some of the main areas with a metro on your doorstep if not. Clean modern rooms with comfotable beds, amazing pillows and a nespresso machine! Top floor rooms are a bit of a hike but worth it. Staff really helpful, will definitely be back!

Overall a nice hotel, but the service let it down. I booked three twin rooms quite a way in advance. Turned up to two twins and a double. So cosy weekend for my friend and I. The beds themselves were twins pushed together, but the mattress was a double. When I asked for two twin mattresses I was told \"It's not possible\". Clearly they had run out. So essentially I did not get what I had booked, I'm very unlikely to stay here again as a result.

This hotel was in a convenient location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the man who cooked it was not only a good cook but very helpful. The room was on the small side and with black walls and black switches it was hard to see them all. The person who cleaned the room didn’t always leave enough towels or toiletries but that was easily remedied.

Lovely place - small, intimate, interesting architecture. Rooms are small, with my shower (no door) and toilet separated in different areas - ideal for couple but not so much for friends. Coffee machine broken in my room but coffee offering in lobby with automatic espresso machine. A bit off the city center of Amsterdam, about a 10 mins walk to the beginning of the inner canal area - which is good if you are looking for quiet. WiFi isn’t great - but in Amsterdam why spend so much time hanging out at hotel - go out and explore.

Would have liked a separate area rather than the piecemeal set up that had the vanity overtaking the sleeping area & the fear of flooding the room when using the shower. I understand that it is a conversion of a centuries old building but better use of space would have greatly improved my experience.
