Great location with Tram stop right outside and Metro station less than 5 minutes walk. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. The suit was nice and Regency Club had good options. The staff were the absolute highlight. From the reception staff at check-in, to the bar staff, maintenance workers and check-out, everyone we encountered had excellent customer service and a great attitude. Super friendly and helpful - will defo stay here again!

The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. The front desk staff were AMAZING. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The breakfast was great with lots of options and friendly staff. The location is very central. The tram and Metro are walking distance and so it's easy to get anywhere you want to go with ease. I highly recommend this hotel for couples, business travelers and families alike!

This was a clean and quiet hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff was very accommodating. The only issue we had was at lunch one day. There was only one other group of four people in the restaurant, but it took 45 minutes to get our food (a sandwich and some pasta). The manager was extremely nice in comping our meal, since it took so long, even though we said it was fine. We enjoyed our stay here!

Our check-in experience at Hyatt Regency Amsterdam was far below the standards expected from a Hyatt property.
The front desk staff member who checked us in was rude and dismissive. We arrived at 10:30 AM after a long flight with a small child and politely asked about an early room. His response was sarcastic and unprofessional.
We were repeatedly told to wait with no clear explanation. At 2:40 PM, we were told the room was being inspected and to bring our keys shortly, but everything was then delayed until and beyond the 3:00 PM check-in time. Guests who arrived after us were given rooms before we were.
While waiting, this same staff member had another employee tell us how to sit on the lobby couch, yet later did not correct a large family whose teenager jumped and lay on the couch.
That said, Jenny was amazing during our stay—professional, kind, and truly helpful. Unfortunately, the terrible check-in experience with the front desk staff member negatively affected our overall impression of the Hyatt brand.

The staff were great. When we arrived the guest has a late checkout. We were told that our luggage will be in our room when we came back which it was. Really good location, clean room and everything you could want. Good transport links and taxis will get you around to Dan square in 10mins.

This corner room on the first floor was beautiful, modern and large floor to ceiling glass on both sides and super view of the street activity, including lots of bicycles and trams.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - my wife had an injury to her hip immediately prior to our arrival at the hotel and the staff fetched a wheelchair quickly and assisted us. We were able to keep the wheelchair our entire stay.

Beautiful building in a quiet area with lots of trees near the canal.

A wonderful stay - I highly recommend this hotel!

Lots of families, and it seems to be family-friendly as well.

Understaffed and poorly managed. You cannot get front desk up respond or room service to pick up phone. They will chase you for signature even for $7 bottle of water when you told them your room number to charge. They have a low quality Indonesian restaurant on site. Breakfast is good. No pool or anything got kids. So my kid was bored staying at the room

Vienna is a beautiful city easily accessible

Very nice staff at this Hyatt. Convenient for public transportation. The hotel is right on the tram transport to the museum quarter which was so convenient and easy.
I have to say the on site cafe was not that good. Very limited option for dinner. Our food arrived cold. We should have sent it back since dinner for 2 with 1 cocktail each no dessert or special water was 145 euro. The food was not very good regardless of the 4.5 star ratings. We had excellent food elsewhere so idk. Did not eat breakfast there because of our poor experience so idk about the breakfast service.
There are food options around this hotel very close that mostly cater to the University crowd, but you can walk and find food. We had breakfast in two places near the hotel that were very good.
The hotel provide nespresso cups but not really coffee for two people and unlike many other hotels no free coffee service in the morning.
If the manager is listening your restaurant needs to up its game. Blandest Indonesian food I’ve ever had, inconsistent bar service I had a cocktail at dinner excellent two days later in the bar not so good. Poor wine selection by the glass as well.
I know it seems like a complaint but the hotel is very nice and I will recommend it.
One reason we picked this Hyatt is close to metro, on site bar and restaurant.

A very nice hotel opposite a university area. Hotel is nice and relaxing feel inside with an air of corporate feel in the air. Staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble at all.

Club lounge access was a real treat, staff working in this area made it a joy to relax and help yourself to food and drinks.

You can hear the tram outside, it’s not very loud but you can hear them going past.

Visited Amsterdam briefly with my child to see the Amsterdam Light Festival. The hotel's location was ideal—within walking distance of the festival and easily accessible to the city centre by bike or metro. Despite its convenience, the area was quiet and peaceful, not too closed to the usual crowds. There were charming cafés, shops, and even a supermarket right nearby, which added to the convenience.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the room was in excellent condition. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh ingredients and high-quality dishes that made for a pleasant start to the day.

The executive lounge was also impressive—quiet enough to work in and offering an excellent selection of finger foods during happy hour.

Every aspect of the hotel met or exceeded expectations. The option to rent bicycles was a bonus and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. I’ll definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

The Hyatt Regency was in a great location in Amsterdam and easily accessible to nearby attractions such as the Rijks Museum and Anne Frank House. Staff were very professional and accommodating. The property itself was good. The staff generally were extremely helpful in both the restaurant and front desk. The breakfast food was of excellent quality and the rooms were of a good standard.
However, there was a big let down when it came to room service. By this I do not refer to food delivered to the room. It was a question of hygiene and what would be expected. I stayed for a total of 4 days and on 3 of those my room was not serviced to the extent that the waste bin was overflowing, the bed left untouched, towels not replaced and the floor left uncleaned. I spoke to the duty manager who, of course apologised profusely, and confirmed that he would take the matter up at his morning management meeting. I did ask to be kept abreast and he promised to do so. He made no contact but I suspect the half bottle of wine left on the dressing table was by way of saying sorry. Unfortunately, the same situation arose the following day leading me to speak with the duty manager on that day. The conversation ended with him saying that he would look into making some adjustment to the price paid. Sad to say but, he never came back to me nor did he arrange to make a gesture of some recompense. This was not something to be expected of a first class hotel and I would be ashamed if I had been responsible for delivering such a poor level of service.

Service at the front desk was superior. Unusually good! That said the property needed some maintenance. Our room was fairly expensive ($300 ) and i expected more. Temp control did not work. I called for help and they said they would send someone. They came the next day. The curtains in our room were ripped and did not close. We called and they did fix it. Carpet on the 5th floor was stained. Disappointing.

All in all we had a good stay . Housekeeping was a bit so-so . Not enough towels were given and had to call for towels everyday .
We are vegetarian. There were not many options for breakfast. We requested for veg baked beans on the first day of our stay . The breakfast in charge told us that he would organize it but till our last day of stay we never got it .
Location is very good .
