We had a truly excellent stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. The staff are absolutely fantastic — consistently friendly, attentive, and going above and beyond at every turn.

The room and common areas were spotlessly clean and fresh, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is ideal. It's a short 5–10 minute walk to the city centre, which we found perfectly manageable and well worth it for the peaceful surroundings.

We slept wonderfully and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Amsterdam. We will most certainly be returning. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

Hotel room was clean and well furnished, spacious bathroom and well soundproofed. Windows that open slightly for fresh air which was enough.
Location is a nice area with some nice eateries around and a supermarket nearby. Close enough to walk into the city centre.

All of the staff was welcoming and friendly and eager to help. Room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. The breakfast offerings were delicious and plentiful. Hot entries, sliced meats and cheese. Yogurt, fruit and various fresh breads and croissants. Typical of European breakfast. There was a relaxing breakfast area overlooking a garden. Nice lounge and bar. About a 15 or 20 minute walk to the town center and central station. Lovely hotel that I would stay at again.

What a lovely hotel! Super friendly reception staff from start to finish - complimentary welcome drink and Tony's choc bar and a surprise little departure gift too. Beautiful decor, and fantastic rooms - Hypnos beds with quality linen and pillows, fridge, Nespresso, robes, slippers, free water and toiletries, quiet efficient air-con, powerful shower etc etc. We walked into the city and to and from the railway station but there is a Metro station close by if needed. Supermarket around the corner, and 5 minute walk to nice coffee shops, bistro etc. Quiet room overlooking a courtyard. Staff responded quickly to emai prior to trip. Excellent and highly recommended.

Good stay with a few issues.

We had a good stay. But at first, the service is too slow for checkin. Then we had a room one floor below. under canal water level and we did not like the feeling…. We asked to change and with time and efforts we got a room on second floor.

Everything was pretty good, the room was small but clean and had windows to open for fresh air. The big problem is that the mattress was in bad shape and very uncomfortable. We told reception on the last day, they said it’s noted but did not offer any compensation.

It’s also in a safe surroundings and easy to go everywhere.
