The room was clean. The bed was very comfy. There was a kettle but no tea bags or milk. The water in the fridge was not replaced for a 3 night stay. The hotel bar was expensive €90 for 3 pints of larger and 3 gins. Hotel was in a great location not too far from anywhere. The shop in the hotel was also over priced on the items they sold. Overall comfortable stay. Nice hotel.

Found the self service check in an inconvenience, but staff was attentive and helped me. Room was spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was huge! Lovely and the pillows spot on.

Main reason for booking the room was for the bathtub, after a long day sightseeing a bathtub is a must! Hotel was in a great quiet location just 5 minute walk from main tourist attractions.

Yes room was ok I would say not very good but fine. Staff was courteous and no complaints regarding the staff. Something that I would like to mention that, some tourists comes with cash to spend there and it’s very unfortunate that Hotel did not accepted any cash not even to have breakfast in the hotel or for any kind of food ordered through room service or even if you want to pay for any amenities with the cash or even if you buy anything food item from the kiosk’s Installed in the hotel. Staff can accept their tips in cash but you cannot buy the food or amenities with the cash in the hotel. Very surprising and weird.

The hotel location was fantastic. Maybe a 15 minute walk at a relaxed pace. The room condition was excellent. Clean, organised. After a lovely shower, it aided in how fresh we felt.
We didn't use the room service, but the menu had a good selection.
The staff were absolutely amazing. From assisting us with check in, to getting us medical assistance. My fiance (luckily) didn't need an ambulance, or hospital, but did require to speak to a doctor. I phoned reception and - I think her name was - Georgia, took our details and got in touch with health care professionals and then organised a taxi to get us to their practice. She went above and beyond. It was very much appreciated.
The hotel location is also 5 minutes from the city centre and all the attractions that area is associated with. There's an Amsterdam Coffeeshop right across the road, and beside that there is a small shop that sells bottled water, snacks, etc. If I return to Amsterdam, this is the hotel I'm going to stay in.

A beautiful hotel in an ideal location, within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The staff were great, the room was very spacious, and the breakfast was good, with gluten-free options available. The only minor points to note were that our room remained quite cold during a particularly freezing weekend, and it wasn’t serviced during our stay. However, these didn’t detract from what was an overall a very nice weekend stay. I would absolutely stay again.

Rooms need digital alarm clocks. Other than that, they were just fine. Also caution guests about some of the local taxi drivers. I got a ride to the train station and still had to walk for 10 minutes to get there. Then tried to talk me into letting him drive me to the airport!

The Radisson Blu was a perfect choice for us .
Its right in the center of the city very close to everything we really didn't want to leave.
We walked everywhere so bring comfortable shoes.
Restaurant were everywhere around us.
And the museums were right down the street.
Central Station was about a 10 min walk .
We were a few blocks from the red light district and De Oude Kerk .
We walked to the Heineken experience. I had no idea we would be this close to everything.
So wonderful and time saving.
The room was pretty big had a canal view abd the staff was very friendly.
They even held our luggage after we had already checked out so that we could go to dinner one last time before our flight.
We will definitely return to this hotel again.

Staff good. Paid to upgrade to Superior room but was a mistake. Last time I stayed in normal room it was good. This time they said the superior rooms are across the road but u need to go down to -1 level in the main building, walk through the hole under the road and take a lift again to your room. Long journey, not what u want when back in the hotel tired.
Its a nice hotel but not sure if its good value for money. Superior room was nothing special, just a few metre squares bigger, it was a waste of money to upgrade

We were welcomed by professional and courteous reception staff upon our arrival to what is a wonderful and unique hotel. The room was nicely furnished, had a high ceiling and a very comfortable bed (no memory foam or mattress topper thankfully). Apart from one day when the cleaning staff forgot about us, it was the perfect stay and one we hope to repeat next time we visit Amsterdam.

Stayed last week at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Great location, food was excellent and for the most part helpful staff. The only feedback I would give is to the Breakfast staff. On my first morning, trying to navigate my way around the buffet, asked a couple of staff where to find various things and got a wave of a hand.. would have been more helpful if they had actually shown me. I would also add, as it was my first morning, a brief explanation of how the breakfast is served, i.e. in some hotels, they sit you down and take your tea / coffee order then you go up to the buffet but at the Radisson, you do everything yourself. It would have been nice to have been informed of this. Overall though, was a great stay and would recommend.

I had a really great stay here overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and clearly kept up to date. My room was spotless and the view was amazing, so that part really set the tone for a good trip. Most of the staff were really friendly, welcoming, and you could tell they enjoyed working there. I’m not a needy customer at all and I usually keep to myself, so I don’t really ask for anything during my stay.

The only issue I had was during check in. The woman who helped me at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming. She seemed a little rude, and when I got to my room the keys didn’t even work. I had to walk all the way back to get new ones. The people who helped me the second time were much nicer, but when I looked over at the first woman she had a smirk on her face. It honestly made me feel like maybe she didn’t activate the keys correctly on purpose. I’m not saying she did, but that smirk really made me feel that way.

Besides that, everything else was amazing and I would definitely stay here again. The overall experience, the room, and the rest of the staff really made up for that one situation.

Dear Radisson Managment,

We are writing to express our disappointment with our recent stay at the Radisson Blu Amsterdam. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations we had based on the room category and the hotel’s reputation.

The room we received was not the Premier Room we had booked — it appeared smaller than advertised, and there was no heating. Despite several complaints, the issue was not resolved. Although two technicians were sent to inspect the problem, they were unable to fix it. The hotel provided a small electric heater, but it was insufficient to warm the room.

Rather than offering a room change, the management sent a bottle of champagne and some candies. While we appreciate the gesture, it did not address the core issue of comfort.

We left the comfort of our home and paid $400 per night, expecting a pleasant stay, but instead returned feeling unwell and requiring medication due to the cold conditions in the room.

We hope you will take this feedback seriously and ensure that future guests do not experience similar issues.

I really enjoyed my stay here and in the neighborhood. It was easy to get here with public transportation to and from the airport and I found many of the things I wanted to see within a 15-20 minute walking distance from the hotel, and rarely took the metro. As for the hotel, it was clean, the staff was very courteous, the room was a good size, and I hope to return soon.
