TwentySeven is truly exceptional! The historic building is stunning, the suites are luxurious and the atmosphere feels unique and elegant. We just left our stay at Hotel Twenty Seven a few days ago and I don’t think it’s possible to say enough good things, especially about the service at this hotel. We walked in a bit weary from our flight and from the front desk to help with luggage, everyone made our arrival go smoothly. We felt we had arrived at the home of friends instead of a hotel! We were also given exceptional service in setting up dinner reservations, a top-shelf canal tour, and where to get the best apple pie. If you’re so inclined, do dine at Bougainville. Well worth it! When our room was ready we were escorted by a lovely butler (wow!) to the castle dream suite, which is perfectly named. Spacious, well-appointed with a comfortable living room, two full bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a private, huge jacuzzi tub on the second level. Sure we saw photos before booking, but it didn’t do the size and scope justice. This room was really something special. We have stayed at hotels that claim to be 5-star before, but they’re frequently stuffy and off putting. Hotel Twenty Seven got service SO right, I would come back to Amsterdam just for the opportunity to be around the entire friendly group working here. Our only criticism is that we relaxed and slept so well we had to force ourselves to go sightseeing! Thank you for making our first visit to Amsterdam so memorable.

This property had amazing modern rooms that were very spacious and the staff gave us great attention and even decorated our rooms after a concert we went to as an added surprise. I highly recommend this hotel. It is right in Dam square which is a great location.

I would highly recommend Hotel 27 for anyone. Some may think the price is outside of your budget, but the experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you should find a way to do it. The staff is unbelievably helpful. They got us last minute reservations at restaurants and the maî·tre d' even walked us to the restaurants a few blocks away and talked with the restaurant staff to make sure we were well received. The suites are beautiful and very spacious. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and were very responsive to any of our requests. You are very close to shopping and nice cafes and right in the middle of the city center. Again, I highly recommend this experience!

We stayed at Hotel TwentySeven for 3 nights. The hotel is discretely located in Dam Square and unbelievably quiet given it's central location.
The room was extremely well appointed and didn't lack for anything. The public areas were lovely and the bar had a great vibe.
If you stay do try Bouganville, the meal was amazing and the restaurant must be heading towards it's second Michelin star.
Every single member of staff we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
All in all a pretty perfect hotel and hopefully we will visit again in the future.

I think our room grade was the lowest, but it was still huge, king size bed, huge windows with lots of light, wonderful bed linens, and nice seating area. The little things in the room are what really set this hotel apart from other 5 stars we’ve stayed (including Four Seasons). Bathroom floors are heated, shower has double rainfall that doubles as a steam room (amaaazing). Huge jacuzzi tub, double sinks and separate toilet room with 5star bidet. DYSON hairdryer (now I’m hooked) was a treat. Lighting in the room can be controlled and adjusted to different moods with an App they let you have during the stay. Big closets, the decor is very rich and luxurious, bed and pillows are like a cloud. Had some frustrating issues with the TV streaming, but they quickly fixed and were very apologetic.

It was an excellent experience. I booked the hotel for 3 nights on the same day and the staff received it on time and I was able to check-in without any issues. They even accommodated my other request to allow my guest who arrived late to check-in herself as well. Excellent service, good restaurant suggestion and convenient transportation arrangement. While it is not inexpensive, I would say it worths every dollar. Would try the larger suite next time.

The hotel is located in a fantastic location right on the famous Dam Square. The whole staff is very welcoming and very courteous, from the concierge at the entrance to your personal servant. The suite we stayed in - a loft suite on the sixth floor) was huge and unique. On the entry level there is a large well equipped living room with a view of Dam Square and the main street, next to it there is a room and next to it is a Jacuzzi :) The bathroom is wonderful and spacious and includes a sauna and even has a toilet heating :)

Wow. Where do I start? Amazing experience! The staff and management are thoroughly considerate and offer a very personalised service. The facilities and rooms are very well specified, clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that is looking to stay in Amsterdam. You will not regret it.

Unparallelled comfort and service
This was my fourth stay at Hotel TwentySeven and it was excellent as always. The hotel is perhaps the most comfortable in Amsterdam with e.g. jacuzzis and steam showers in each suite, very good heating/aircon controlled with a tablet, and windows that block all sound from the outside even though the hotel is on a busy central square. The service is beyond exceptional and detail oriented. I will return for sure!

Such a comfortable stay! Slept beautifully each night. Beautiful suite, but more importantly, some wonderful staff members that represent this hotel very well. I don't do well with pretentious, and there are definitely some exceptions here, from the gentleman who greeted me by name when I first walked in (I have to say this person seemed truly genuine and so likable. After so many weeks, I'm sorry to say that I 've forgotten his name), to the lovely ladies at check-in/out and the hostess in the restaurant. I love it when I feel like they genuinely care as opposed to doing the job of falling over backwards because they think that's what all patrons want. A lot of the staff made me feel very comfortable. I hope the owner appreciates them!
