Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff was phenomenal—warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in until the day we checked out. The room was spotless, and the location was perfect. The only small downside was that the WiFi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. I would happily recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again.

We were lucky to get checked in when we arrived which was much earlier than expected. Staff was nice and attentive. Room was nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The only negative for me is that the bathroom echoes...use your imagination.

The buffet definitely worth the extra $ to add only because the food is a bit pricey in general.

We were initially disappointed that our queen room was small and noisy, but after sharing our concerns with the front desk, they responded warmly and handled it wonderfully—upgrading us to a quieter, much larger room with a king bed at no extra charge. We couldn’t have been happier!

The room was tiny for the price I paid. Not enough space to move around. The bathroom offers zero privacy, and taking a shower is challenging because there is a partition but no shower door.

The front desk team were absolutely fabulous. They were fun informative and made the stay exceptional. I’m sorry I don’t have their names but one was the GM and the other a front desk lead.

Would recommend the hotel to travellets who enjoy a unique place full of great vibes.

Overall, it was great. The AC does not get cold enough but we found that to be the case in most Hotels in Europe! In room coffee was great, on site restaurant and bar was great and it's centrally located.

Very nice Hotel in the heart of old Amsterdam. I enjoyed my stay and found the location perfect to take a quick walk to the grocery store down the road. I could pick up a freshly baked croissant for a euro at Albert Heijn. They also had a coffee shop just as you entered. The police would be lined up at 7:00am to get their coffee.

Lovely hotel. The room was tiny but perhaps that’s normal for this area. Bathroom didn’t have a fan so room steamed up. No door or curtain for the shower so water tended to get all over the floor and we had to use the towels to clean it up. Phone didn’t work one day; no dial tone. Mini fridge didn’t work but had power light lit up. Room service very limited options but food was tasty and arrived quickly.

I stayed at this lovely Art Deco-style hotel and really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly, fun, and professional, and the whole place had a great atmosphere, even the lobby smelled amazing! The decor was stylish, and there was free water available downstairs, which was a nice touch.

The location is excellent; walkable to Central Station and close to lots of tourist attractions, making it a great base for exploring Amsterdam. I also felt safe at night thanks to secure entry at the front door.

The room was on the smaller side, which is typical for Amsterdam, and there was no separate bathroom; the shower and toilet are part of the room with no divide, so sharing with friends is definitely an intimate setup. But if you’re okay with that, it’s a fantastic spot for a short, stylish stay in the city.

I pride myself on writing quality reviews—and this one is no different. This was easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

PERFECT LOCATION:
Minutes from the main Square, a short 7-minute walk to Grand Central Station, steps from our walking tour meetup, and so many food options nearby. You will not be disappointed. It’s even just minutes away from the location where Anne Frank and her family were taken—such a powerful piece of history right outside the door. Simply a perfect location.

COMFORT & SERVICE:
The beds were so comfortable—some of the best sleep I’ve had while traveling. The staff? Impeccable. Friendly, professional, and helpful from start to finish.

FOOD & DINING:
The on-site restaurant was phenomenal. You can even see the Chef prepare your food, which adds such a nice touch. Breakfast was generous, fresh, and had a wide variety of choices. I could go on and on about the positives!

Room for Improvement (Just Being Honest):
•Towels: A bit rough on the skin, though large and functional. Not a dealbreaker.
•Surroundings: The smell of marijuana is unfortunately hard to avoid around the city. It’s part of Amsterdam and outside the hotel’s control—but worth mentioning for travelers sensitive to it. Again, this won’t deter me from returning.

All in all, an incredible stay. Highly recommend and would absolutely return!

The property was perfectly situated for walkability all around Amsterdam. Because it is in the center of the city, it can take a longer time to get out of town to the airport or windmills, so do plan accordingly. The area is extremely safe and minutes away from canal tours, the red light district, world class shopping, and so many eateries! I will definitely check this place first on my next trip back to the Netherlands.

A few years ago my partner booked INK for us during a bad time in my life and when we decided to go back to Amsterdam now I'm doing better I was determined to come back to INK because the atmosphere of the hotel was familiar and also fits my personality.
We walked everywhere we wanted to visit with little issues and our room was incredibly comfortable and well appointed.
The staff were delightful and breakfast was brilliant, lots of options.

Fantasy stay! The room was clean and perfect for our needs. The personnel were fabulous—so helpful particularly Joanna and Val. Joanna helped us navigate the city and surrounding area to get to museums.

Everyone was kind, helpful and smiling. We had a lovely first meal in the restaurant. We showed just prior to King’s day but we had a great time because the staff helped us plan our excursions around the crowds. If we come back, we will definitely come back and we received to others. The breakfast was superb, recommend it highly.

Staying here was perfect. The hotel is located within an walking distance. The tram is located almost directly outside of the hotel for easy access to places a bit more far from the hotel (no tram noise in the hotel). The restaurant was delicious too. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Absolutely amazing staff. They really do make this hotel. Everyone from the reception staff to the cleaning staff to the staff in the restaurant and bar are so incredible. Hotel is lovely with quirky design. Location is perfect and breakfast and the bar were wonderful. Room was comfortable. The only negatives are that the bathroom has no privacy whatsoever and the view was of a wall despite paying to upgrade. Shame for the price but didn’t affect us too much. Would stay again

My husband and I absolutely loved our trip to Amsterdam and our stay at Ink hotel. It's very conveniently located near Central station. The tram stop was right outside of the hotel for convenience. The hotel was also wonderful! Shout out to Valerie who was incredible with our check in process and giving us advice for activities throughout our the week. Our trip was for my birthday, the hotel gave us a little birthday gift with decorations in the room. Overall the hotel was great service, clean and conveniently located.

We stayed with our kids, 23 and 26. The hotel was great! Perfect location , close to everything! The rooms were on the smaller side, but everything you need ! Comfortable bed, great shower , robes and slippers . It was a little warm , no real air conditioning , but the windows open . The restaurant in the lobby was perfect for breakfast . We really enjoyed our week there , front desk staff was amazing and helpful with recommendations .

Perfect location.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We upgraded to a JR Suite and the room is beautiful but suited more for a single person and not a couple. The bathroom had very little privacy. Because of the “open concept” of the bathroom, if you need to use it in the night the only possible light would illuminate the whole room.
Also it is rare the rooms are available if you arrive before checkin time. They have an onsite restaurant that you can wait in but no real lobby space. We arrived after landing at 8:30am and dropped bags. By 1:30pm we were wiped and looking for a comfortable place to wait and rest. This hotel really does not have that type of area.

I love the hotel’s location. It is a small, quant hotel with an excellent staff, restaurant, and bar. A tram stops a few feet from the hotel, and it is only 2 stops from Centraal train station. Jordaan, Red Light district, Dam Square, and the Anne Frank house are less than .5 miles and an easy walk.

First time in Amsterdam. We selected this hotel for comfort and price but it ended up being absolutely essential to having an amazing time in Amsterdam. The hotel is located on the cusp of the tourist section and the more native, local neighborhoods. Everything you could want to do is a 10 minute walk in every direction. The tram (for further destinations) is right outside in the Main Street. The selection of snacks, restaurants, cafe’s, bars and everything is endless. We left each day, walked 20,000 plus steps and returned to a comfortable bed and a clean room. I can not recommend this hotel enough. 5 stars.

Wonderful stay, amazing location, the staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble and really went above and beyond! They were all such hard working, friendly and approachable members of staff - really a true asset to the hotel. Room was clean, the bottles of water were a great touch, room a little hot and couldn’t cool it down so wouldn’t like that room in the summer, but we managed, shower and shower facilities were brilliant - the extras like vanity kit, shower cap, shampoo and body wash etc. was top! The fridge in the room was great, and the TV had English channels. Breakfast was really good, shout out to the chef (the older gent) who has just put the scrambled eggs on to cook but realised none left for my breakfast and whipped me up a quick small pan so I didn’t have to wait for the big load to be done - really nice touch! Tram/metro stop both a few mins walk to the left and the right so have the choice of two.
