Issues:
1) Lobby was under construction and we were not informed when booking
2) I selected a hotel filter for hotels with Parking. It doesn't have its own parking. Public garage across the street is 90 Euro a night. Would be good to know in advance
3) Overall happy with the room but furniture/finishes and common areas (hallways) were all pretty outdated

The main property was very nice and clean along with being a nice posh but relaxed atmosphere. Really impressed and would definitely use some time when arriving to look round and see all the amenities that come with this amazing hotel!

This property and its adjacent, attached second hotel, the Eden, had undergone a reorganization right before we got there. So we weren't even staying on the side we expected. But our room was lovely, and the staff were helpful. Overall, this was an excellent stay.

Nice property, lovely staff. The rooms have an interesting design, but very small. The bathroom layout is uncomfortable, a simple example is you cannot sit properly on the toilet seat because the toilet paper holder is in the way. The glass door in to the bathroom was clearly in need of a clean.

Great location and staff were friendly. However, seemed a little overpriced for what it was. The rooms could use a good deep clean, and even after housekeeping came, it could have been cleaned better. The hotel is not soundproof at all, so was woken up several nights from people either outside or in the hallways/other rooms. The lobby and lower floor look nice, but as soon as you move into the room areas it feels more like a cheap hotel. I probably wouldn’t stay there again

I enjoyed my stay overall. The room was clean, and the hotel’s location was excellent—close to almost everything I wanted to visit. The buffet breakfast was very good and a highlight of my stay.
The only downside was the noise at night. I was in Area C on the 2nd floor on a Sunday evening, and I heard a lot of noise from the street—cars and people leaving nearby bars early in the morning. It made it hard to get a good night’s rest.

The property was well-maintained, the staff was very helpful and the rooms were quite spacious. The only comment I have is that the restaurant was not open for dinner and I believe it was under renovation. The property could also use a fitness center.

Lovely room (Executive Double) but as per previous reviews there is so much noise from outside! We were on the 5th floor and had a lovely room, but we were woken because of the deliveries outside. Not the hotel’s fault at all but did make our stay less enjoyable.

The hotel was in a convenient location- close to major train/metro stations and easy to walk to major sites without any issues. The hotel was clean and so were the rooms. Bedding was surprisingly comfortable and the AC and heat both worked. There’s also a safe in the room for your valuables, passport. The walls and doors are quite thin though so it’s a bit alarming when people close them late at night and you can hear everything from the hallway.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. Check in and check out were very easy.
Breakfast buffet was good -paid for this in advance and worth it. There was a good variety and options for dining. Nice to be able to grab something in the morning before you head out to see sites for the day. Food was well prepared. Overall, great stay. Would stay there again.

Our room got upgraded with was nice. I liked it and would stay again. I was able to walk everywhere because it was in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff was really nice as well.

Room was clean. When we needed more towels, we had them within a few minutes. We had an extended stay and we opted to not have the room cleaned daily. We won’t be doing that again as we had to ask the staff to take out trash daily. Staff were friendly and helpful. AC worked well. I loved the waterfall shower.

This was a lovely room in a great hotel. The layout is a little bit strange with the tub and shower being enclosed off from the rest of the room with a glass wall, but we quickly got used to that. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed in room 212. Nice room, very clean. The king bed was very comfortable. Everything in the room worked. Wi-Fi speed was good. The TV had easy to access the HDMI port for playing our movies and shows. The bathroom was very clean. The doors were opaque glass double doors with no knob and not lockable. A bit unusual, but not a problem.

It was clean, vent did not work in bathroom not enough tea and coffee facilities plug in bath loose. We were advised we had been upgraded but we do not believe that to be the case. Bedside tables too small to hold items. Some staff very helpful others were quite the opposite.

Upon arrival, the initial interaction with the staff proved to be less than satisfactory. Following room allocation, we discovered bloodstains on the top cover, which were subsequently addressed by the cleaning staff. We experienced delays in receiving essential amenities, including bath towels, bath tissues, and bottled water, requiring multiple requests to the lobby reception. Furthermore, the room was not serviced on Tuesday, and despite anticipating service on Wednesday, it remained uncleaned. While the hotel's aesthetic is appealing, the overall experience was disappointing, leading us to conclude that the establishment is overpriced and under-serviced.

This is a very good location for a short stay. You do not want to stay here too long as the rooms are extremely tiny! Hard to maneuver around the room with two people. The bed was comfortable, but very small and made a lot of noise. It was similar to an RV type bed. For a couple day stay it was okay

Two friends traveling so we booked twin beds but room had only 1 chair, 1 luggage rack. It took 3 requests and several hours before they provided additional chair/rack. Also found broken soap dispenser, missing bottle opener, and foreign hairs. Hallways were cluttered with service carts. I expected much better for the price we paid!

Could have done with small table/chair but understand space an issue. View from window was brick wall. Cups in room have no handles making it impossible to pick up when your drink is hot!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Eden Hotel, which shows that our first stay was wonderful! We asked for a canal view, and this time, our room was on the fifth floor. The room was extremely spacious, and it had some architectural details, like a slanted ceiling, that I really enjoyed. I would definitely choose the hotel on any subsequent trips to Amsterdam.

The check in process was simplified by a self check in computer and there were many available. The room was a corner executive room and was incredibly spacious. Centrally located near the Amstel River and all the action. We enjoyed late night snacks on the river and strolled thru the streets to see some sites. Check out was a breeze! The staff was very responsive and helpful.

Perfect location to literally everything and great transport links within minimal walking distance. Room was compact but perfect for what we needed. Coffee machine with pods in the room as well as complimentary daily water bottles and chocolate bars on arrival. We requested housekeeping daily and we received clean sheets & towels as well as components re-stocked.
