Had a lovely time at this hotel. Can not fault the room it was lovely and absolutely immaculate. The staff could not have been more helpful, excellent customer service, they even decorated the room and left a card for my partners birthday. Relaly impressed and will definetely being staying again. Check in was not until 3pm but if you have an early arrival flight then you can drop your bags off until check in and the same when leaving.

It's in a nice and convenient section of the town. One can get around everywhere by foot. Tiny rooms, no elevator but the front desk will carry luggage up for you through those tiny narrow steps stair. But that is quaint European buildings (not las vegas type hotels anyway).

Paid for one night . Bath found cracked and sharp , towel rail found hanging off the wall. The room found NOT sound proof, with police going by all night .
Multiple times in the night somone was attempting to gain access to our room.

We planned to stay there for a week...
The next morning i said about the issues , with a response that they are fully booked but they could swap someone into this room . My reply was absolutely not , the room should be taken out of service.
We left and found another hotel .

They then decided to take two more nights payment from my card without my consent as i selected (pay at hotel).
When i contacted them , my reply was ,you can have half back as we couldn't rent the room out.
Absolute disappointment not only from the hotel but from Expedia, would not recommended.

Great big room with an extraordinarily huge bathroom.
Very comfortable with all needed amenities. Maybe some bottled water would make for a nice welcoming gift?! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is in easy
walking distance to the museums and other sights and the tram stop is nearby.

The room 15 is big enough, comfortable and it can be very relaxing. It’s only issue is if you’re light head for sleeping. It can be noisy at night time, because its window face the street. But, you have earplugs for a better sleep. I would suggest for improving, add a real table in the middle of the room, add some real glasses for a drink. I rather be on this room, than any other 4 stars hotel room. I think it was very enjoyable.

It's clean and in a great location. Many restaurants and things to do in close walking distance. However, the amenities provided by the hotel are bare bones, at best. This isn't a major issue, however the price to stay here is outrageous for what you get. There's no elevator... I had to carry my heavy bags all the way up to my room. Also, one day when i was working in my room yhe room service people knocked on my door and wanted to install new curtains. The do not disturb sign was clearly lit outside of my room. Overall, nice place but it's about twice as expensive as it should be. The cost is unbelievable for what you get. I wouldn't come back only because of the cost and what little you get for the that.

This hotel was really nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I liked my view of the garden behind. All worked right and net out it was a good stay. I add the staff when I checked in were super friendly. Location is also good. Along the tram, near the flower market and Remrbandtsplein.

Great location. Beds and pillows not super comfortable but rooms are clean. Friendly staff who were helpful and accommodating. Had a kettle which is great for tea. Would have liked a small bar fridge for milk and a coffee pot. Amsterdam is an expensive city to stay so tea and coffee amenities, and small fridge would be helpful.

There isn’t much to this hotel it is literally just a walk up to rooms with a small room for a lobby. It is really no frills but the staff were very accommodating and helped me whenever I had a request. The location is great and very central. Great for if you prefer location.

Was unable to get early check in. For some reason they also could not call or email me when the room was ready so I had to check in multiple times.Room size was very small, also was dealing with bee infestation. For the price this hotel you should not deal with a bee infestation. When I checked in there was a group pleading to switch rooms because they had been stung multiple times through the night.

The position of the hotel is very good 10 min walk to all of the main areas, but the room sizes are very small and for the cost of the hotel I would of expected a bigger room. We were bitten alive by Mosquitoes in the room which was very unpleasant other than that all good.

Terrible, really dangerous stairway, no elevator and no help with luggage - carry your big luggage upstair and risk breaking your neck. I am pretty sure this awful situation would be against health code violations in some other place. The room was small like a coffin, barely any place to move. I understand it that it's an expensive location and peak season, etc. but I've never received so little for so much money. Very disappointed.

Very friendly and good service, nice big room (I had room 25), big and firm bed, so I slept well. The internet connection was good, and the shower spacious. Some less good stuff: no elevator, no breakfast and a bit noisy street. Isolation between the rooms could be improved (I could hear people speak across the hall). But I would still give it a good rating.

Really nice, and clean hotel. The biggest issue with this hotel, is that there is NO ELEVATOR! So, if you have any kind of issues with walking up a flight, or two, of very steep and narrow stairs, book somewhere else. That said, this place was really nice. No amenities at all, but if you're looking for a nice room, pretty centrally located, this is a good inexpensive option. Half a mile to Rijksmuseum, same distance to a ton of other stuff too.

Not much within a block or two, but there is a restaurant that you can get breakfast, Lunch at, across the street. There's a Coffee shop (not that kind) right next door, that I went to almost every day, for tea and croissants.
The hotel is a little over a mile walk from Amsterdam Centraal. Fairly convenient location, since when in Amsterdam I walk everywhere.

I'd definitely book it again, as long as I got the same rate which came out to about $170 US a night plus the local tax, which you get charged upon checkout.

Great location and very clean. Seems to be recently done up which is very modern, The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only minor things which we found to annoy us such as, the shower is nice but has no door so the floor got wet. The room had a high ceiling and a wooden floor, which meant there was an echo and the room felt bare. Also the twin beds weren't the biggest. Mainly just us being picky. I would recommend staying here and will consider it if I return in the future. Only 15-20 mins to most major attractions by walk, and a reasonable price per night.

This hotel has a nice modern look to it, though we did sleep in the attic (32) so there were beams running through the room which added to the characteristics of the hotel. I did bump my head on one of them, even though there is tape on it to be careful.
This hotel is unbelievably close to everything, we bought a travel card for the city and found ourselves walking everywhere instead as it took just as long if not shorter to do so.
The only minor thing I will note is to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries as though this hotel does give you tiny bottles these didn’t wash my hair thoroughly enough but it is of no fault of the hotel, my hair is just thick.
Staff are lovely, and all speak good English. Really happy with this hotel considering the price and location, just wish our stay could have been a little bit longer!

Wanted to stay a night on way home and found dream hotel, which is great location. The room had no windows and was close to front desk so could hear everything when they talked. It was not great but did not pose a big problem, just think for the price I could have had something a bit better.

A lot of expensive hotels in Amsterdam. For the price, this hotel is one of the good ones, I'd say. Good location too!

I chose he Dream Hotel because of the lovely terrace and garden it featured. Unfortunately that garden belongs to a diplomat whose home backs the hotel. A few rooms have a view of the terrace but that's it. The hotel is a newly converted office bldg. it is clean and functional but No Dream

There are no ammenities-does not look like the pic

This hotel is terribly overpriced for what you get. No elevator, no kitchen, no ice. No extra blankets. No extra coffee. The hotel is located on a busy street in the middle of a massive party zone and while it was super entertaining, it wasn't worth it when we couldnt sleep because it was so noisy...and yep you guessed it, no earplugs. The bathroom had a distinct mildew smell and it seemed borderline clean. It was the hotel of Nos. The hotel is super cute but it is in NO WAY worth what they are charging. And that is where my problem really lies. I visited a few other hotels since I'll be back to Amsterdam and found places for less than half the price and much more ammenities. And by the way....where is this mysterious courtyard that is no where to be found from the pictures???

The leaning room

The floor was so uneven that when I got out of bed one night i fell over on to my face. There is no elevator and the sheets weren't changed the first 3 nights. The third day the ac stopped working and staff had no idea what to do. Thankfully it magically strayed back up. I would not stay here again especially for €150 per night.

Nice hotel for a reasonable price

Booked a room late in amsterdam on a holiday weekend. This hotel was very nice. The location was good in that it was right on the tram line which helped because many sites were a little bit far for an easy walk. The room was extremely clean and ready when we arrived early. It was very quiet even though it is located on a busy street. The bathroom was a little small as the walk in shower did not quite contain the water but plenty of towels from the hotel made it manageable.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Only a couple of minutes walk to bars, restaurants etc. The hotel had great facilities and was really clean. We had a room on the first floor, overlooking the road. It was incredibly noisy with cars/trams at night, but that's to be expected given the location.
The hotel staff were extremely helpful - very polite and friendly.

Enjoyable New Years stay

Enjoyed this hotel. The balcony was a pleasant surprise. I had read reviews complaining about the bathroom but it wasn't too much of a problem. There was a very small (but cute and modern) sink and the water did leak from the shower but with an extra towel from the front desk, it was manageable. We could here others due to thin walls but it didn't impact our sleep. I would stay again.

Dream hotel is very good

I stayed with a friend at the Dream Hotel for a long weekend in October. The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of Rembrandtsplein and Leidseplein which are good for bars, restaurants etc.
When we arrived and during our stay the hotel staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. Our room was on the first floor, so easy for us on the stairs... although I have to say the stairs are rather narrow and quite steep. I was pleased I didn't have a large suitcase.
Our room was very clean and modern. I guess I would have liked a little more room between our beds (we had it set as a twin), but it was fine really.
I think my only complaint was the wonderful shower in the bathroom, because of the way the bathroom floor is designed (and a tiny glass panel), it actually put water all over the bathroom floor. We did get extra towels from the hotel staff to keep mopping it all up though.
So overall I think this hotel was well worth the money and I would definitely stay there again if I was returning to Amsterdam.

OK, not \"dream\" stay

Hotel was fairly average. It was nice because it was newer, however within the room one of the window's latches were broken which did not allow the window to properly close... Not a huge problem but in the immediate vicinity of the hotel on one night, there was an alarm going off from the night until the following morning which I could hear (since I couldn't get the window closed) and couldn't fall asleep. Also in the bathroom, the design was a little funky which caused water to go everywhere when we showered.

Finally my biggest gripe was that there was no warning when we booked that there wouldn't be an elevator. Lugging huge suitcases up 2 flights of stairs was annoying to say the least after a long day of travel.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The maids kept the room spotless. I would have liked to see a mini-fridge in the room though.

So many steps

Dream hotel a little disappointed, our room was on the top floor 60 steps with our luggage was awful, no lift. Our room was nice when we eventually got there, 3 flights of stairs later, I felt they were not prepared for three people in one room as there was only tea facilitys for two. No prior warning to the steps we had to climb just beware when booking this hotel THERE IS NO LIFT.

In Amsterdam for business. Hotel was in a good, walkable location. Staff was very helpful with directions. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very complete--eggs, salmon, croissants, brie, fruit, pancakes.

My particular room was windowless but didn't mind it at all for one night.

Nice hotel in the center of the city.

The hotel is located in a central location directly in front of a tram stop making all sights easy to get to. The hotel is small but appealing with friendly staff. The biggest problems we had were that the room smelled awful when we arrived. The front desk staff immediately came to check and the sewer drain cap was off in the shower. They did not switch our room so we had to deal with the lingering smell for the next day or so. on our last night there was some sort of party in the shared courtyard that went on well past midnight. This would not have been a problem except for we had to get up at 5:00 the next morning to catch a flight so it made for some grumpy travel the next day. On the whole though, it was a comfortably sized room in a great location.

The hotel is in a great location easy to access the train station and the museums. Our room was clean the bed comfy and great monsoon shower in the ensuite wet room. The downside it was located right next to the reception and had no windows so was a bit loud with people coming and going as well as the phone ringing and a little stuffy without a window.

The location of the hotel was amazing, waking distance to the busiest streets of Amsterdam. The rooms are a bit small so it may be a bit tight for 2 people but they are clean and have everything you need. The staff is helpful and nice. There isn't an elevator in the building so if you need help with your bags- just ask them!

The Dream hotel was a lovely spot for our first trip to Amsterdam. Clean if a bit small. My only complaint would be the noise level. This is a very small hotel so you hear every sound that happens outside of your room door. Proprietors are lovely and very helpful.

2 short nights and it was better than staying in a hostel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. The location is walking distance from everything in Central Amsterdam, including Dam Square, 15-20 minutes walk to Leidseplein & Rijksmuseum, and easily accessible by the trams.

Room was small,but more like a boutique hotel.Nice and clean,but during our stay of 3 days, the shampoo, conditioner and soap was not renewed.No where to put anything in shower, and only one towel hook, the other was missing off wall.The noise outside was very disturbing, screams etc, and felt like it was in the hotel.Our room supplied ear plugs,so they know the windows are insufficient.Staff very friendly.

Modern hotel, great location

This was our first time in Amsterdam, and we stayed two nights at the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of many tourist attractions, and on a main street. The staff were helpful in suggesting areas we might be interested in seeing and offered a warm greeting every time we entered or left the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms are very basic but clean. Shower badly planned and flooded bathroom each time used. No tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was also basic but staff would make eggs if required although I have never eaten scrambled eggs quite like what was served up and toast took three attempts before I actually got toast! Staff were hit or miss. Some friendly and helpful others not. Had a bad start to the holiday because reception staff asked me to pay my bill of £631 as soon as I got there despite me having already paid via Expedia. I showed them the transaction on my e bank statement but they wanted me to pay them again and then I could follow this up with Expedia!!!! I firmly told them that they could sort it out although this left me wondering if we would be asked to leave at any time which caused me a lot of stress. This hotel is situated on three levels with no lift and if you happen to be put on the third floor be aware it is a long way up! A positive is that the hotel is situated just a 5-10 min walk from the city centre and 5mins from the canals.

Good location and price

Nicely refurbished to a good quality; not far from the centre, but far enough to be away from tourist tat. Good wifi; only minor complaints (you cannot plug the sink - I like a pool to shave in! - and I wa chasing a mosquito in my room, but that can happen anywhere.

Hotel has only 12 rooms yet has full time desk staff who arevery pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is new yet needs subtle upgrades to make it better. Steps to rooms are extremely steep. The location is wonderful to explore the city, close to everything

Det mindste værelse vi har oplevet, billeder er godt nok utilregnelige - kunne dårligt åbne vores kuffert. Intet vindue der kunne åbnes - man kunne dårligt få luft og så lugtede der ! OG så står der ved bestilling at morgenmad kunne tilkøbes - det kunne man IKKE !

Besonders angenehm war das sehr freundliche Personal. Das Bad war top (große Dusche mit Regendusche und Schlauch) offenbar ganz neu. Das Zimmer hätte etwas heller sein können (nur ein großes und ein kleines, hoch gelegenes Fenster).

Super Kurztrip nach A'Dam

Das tolle an diesem Hotel war, dass es perfekt liegt! man kann zu Fuss in 15 min. am Bahnhof sein und in die andere Richtung bei tollen Restaurants. Wenn es weiter weg gehen soll, ist die Tram-station gleich in der nähe.
Amsterdam ist eine tolle Stadt egal ob mit Familie oder Freunden, es gibt immer etwas zu sehen, oder zu machen. ICh werde definitiv wieder dorthin gehen
