Check in instructions were incorrect - the front desk team were on another boat. A fault on board led to Intolerable noise from pumps at night meant I had to leave and find another hotel at 01:00

We were booked for two nights here, the room was small and dirty with a window in the ceiling that looks down on your bed. The toilets don't work and the room did not lock. There were people who weren't staying on the boat until 4am shouting and running around. Two of them broke into our room and when we looked for staff there was none. We booked another hotel for the next night. I don't think I'm over reacting when I say this was the worst place I've ever stayed we left because it's not safe.

The light in the room wasn't working, and we had to use our flashlights. The staff response was oh yes we've been experiencing issues with this room, so you would expect them to check before we arrive??? Anyway to be fair they offered us in return free bike rentals for a day which we're not interested in and to try and repair the issue, which we declined because we didn't want anyone accessing the room whilst we are there. The room was really cold and the bed sheets were all very humid which we didn't understand why in the beginning. Then, during the whole night the ceiling was dripping water and my partner stayed awake all night and everything became wet, we had to reorganise our stuff in the room. I had to cut my trip shorter, we checked out on the 2nd day instead of the 3rd because we couldn't tolerate staying for one more night. The staff did ask us if something's wrong and we did explain but the feedback was okay what room? Aha ok.

The light did not work at room and it was told that it cannot be fixed, raditor could not be turned off and the it was like a furnace, when asked they had suggested to keep the windows open, it was on a boat so you could imagine people being able into look into the rooms, I would not really stay again at this property

We had to stay on another boat that was different rooms to the boat I was meant to be staying on as keys got lost to our first room etc, and the room seemed a lot smaller than the ones on the first boat? Can I get some sort of part refund as the there was something wrong with the booking?

After booking a double bed and private bathroom on this vessel, we had a message the day before saying we had been moved to a different vessel where we had bunk beds and a shared bathroom. When turning up we saw guests entering the original vessel while we had to deal with a much lesser experience

Stuff confused my keys upon check in so I had to wait for about half an hour in the middle of the night. Didn’t respond to my messages as well.

This was a first and probably last stay at a boat hotel .
The room was warm and there was a good supply of fruit,biscuits and marshmallows.
The room is quite small and at times you have to take turns to pass each other. The crunch point was the sky window which happened to be at the smoking/sitting area. All the person above has to do is look down to see you in all your naked glory. Not ideal at all .There was drips of water from the window.

The cabin was compact and comfortable, with a fully functioning ensuite. I had hot water when i needed it .
The breakfast was extensive and tasty ...really set me up for the day.
The towels were too small to dry with and the rooms are not soundproofed so you are reliant on considerate guests late at night.

enjoyed my stay in mid September (summer would not be good because of poor ventillation). The space is small but bright and clean. Strongly recommend room with ensuite bathroom. Shared main cabin is a delight with panoramic views of harbour and a great social space for breakfast. If you need wifi, the shared main cabin is the best place with its tables and ample seating. Staff were young, polite, helpful and made our stay relaxing. Bike hire was 5 mins walk away and reasonably priced.

The property worked fine for a single night's stay near the train station but I would not have wanted to stay longer. The amenities were very basic and there were some broken / poorly maintained items in the room. It was very noisy, with doors slamming at all hours of the night. The area around the marina is lovely and it was peaceful at sunrise. Easy to walk to and from Amsterdam Centraal and friendly staff. Breakfast was also surprisingly varied.

We had a really nice one night stay. Our cabin was comfortable but it lacked adequate ventilation. During the night significant amounts of condensation collected on the roof window and then dripped on to the floor and part of the bed. The cabin ideally needs a dehumidifier or air ventilation system to prevent the build up of moisture. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was enjoyable. Great location.

We loved staying on this unique boat! This was great for a quick 2-night stay. The quarters are small (as expected) but it was not terrible. We did go during a heat streak so it did get pretty hot in the room during the day, but not unbearable. The free breakfast was lovely. My only suggestion is the boat could have benefited from a secure place to store luggage. We had to leave it unattended/visible before check in which made me a little anxious.

It’s on a boat so I wasn’t surprised that the room was very small. What was a bit disappointing was that they had painted my room just hours before I stayed there. It smelled strongly of paint all night. That could be a plus for whoever stays there next however... it was very clean.

The property was a little hard to find on my GPS but w/others' help I found the right dock. However, once I got to the boat was REALLY glad some guys were there to help w/my luggage (I had 1 lg and 1 med bag) because the \"plank\" was thinner than I was expecting and I was having problems with the bags going up and down it. They were working on a few of the cabins but overall everything was fine and the breakfast was great. Checkin and out was very easy. The staff and others were helpful in getting my bags down to my cabin.

We went on a busy weekend in Amsterdam so room was very expensive. Service was excellent and boat clean and breakfast nice. Spoilt but a leak of som sort in the room which mean a puddle overnight that led to half my clothes including expensive leather jacket being sodden. I advised them on departure.

Only good thing is the location and the bed. Our bathroom was covered in mould, which has now set my asthma off and the window in the bedroom leaked water in throughout the stay from the condensation as the ventilation was so poor despite our best efforts to keep everything aired in such a small space. We had to leave towels on the floor to stop the dripping from making a puddle, they give you two tiny towels for the whole stay which we had to use for the roof leaks. Breakfast was said to be between 830am-1030am, we wanted a lie in one day so went for breakfast at 10am and it was all packed away. We understood this stay would be very basic, the location was great and the staff were helpful, but the hygiene standards were so so bad in the bathroom I don’t know how it’s allowed to let guests stay there, especially when the extractor fan was not working for the shower steam, and we weren’t allowed to flush toilet paper down the loo, it had to be put in a bin with no lid and therefore the bathroom stank with no ventilation!

First of all, the breakfast is delicious.
The walls are thin, so ear plugs are advised I'd you're a light sleeper.
The bunks had these cute reading lights. The rooms are small, you're on a boat! But you have a private bathroom!
Its also cold, but I was there in September and the windows need to be open a bit so the condensation doesn't get out of control.
There is a heater but I didn't tinker with it, I just wore warmer PJs.
I found the room with the queen bed with extra bunk an amazing size for one person. I never wanted to leave.The location of the boat was awesome for being a tourist. Couldn't beat the views.

On the 2nd night, I had an injury ( from the city wandering outside the boat of course) and the entire crew took care of me as my family would have taken care of me. Hotel changed location a day before our reservation. We had to walk more than we expected according to the original location from the booking. The breakfast was good and the atmosphere amazing. It’s a small boat so you know what you are going to be facing with. The boat doesn’t have any AC. Be aware that there’s only a small window in your room that has to be open 24/7, so get ready to sleep all night long with the mosquitos buzzing on your ear every 5 minutes. After all the experience was really nice, I felt like camping on a canal in Amsterdam!

We went to Amsterdam as a hen do of 7. And honestly, the bride couldn’t be more delighted when she saw the boat. It was really quirky. When we arrived we were given welcome shots (amazing). The boat is in a good location, we were very close to the centre, so most places we were able to walk to within 15-20 mins. There were drinks and snacks on the boat at a fair price. And breakfast was included and very tasty. You do get what you paid for. The rooms were good but I do have to advise they are small. We had a bunk of four and two doubles, but so lucky we didn’t have a fourth person in the room or it would have been a bit of a squeeze. The bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable. But we did find on the second night it was a bit cold. The shower and hot water work absolutely fine, it was just one room out of the three, where there was an issue with the shower. Also, the rooms only had one plug socket, which was a bit annoying, but they did have an extension lead and adaptors on board. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. Overall we had a great time and would definitely be returning. And would recommend this place 100%

A little floating hotel in a quiet, yet central part of Amsterdam! What could be finer! This old Dutch barge was converted into several small cabins. Ours had its own ensuite. One would imagine that life at such close quarters might be noisy, but no such thing; it was very peaceful. Great inclusive breakfast, with a wide selection of foods, but sadly not catering for vegans. Not even soya milk, so I had to have black coffee. Rooms wonderfully warm and cozy. A selection of board games to chill with in the lounge in between \"coffee shop\" visits. I LOVED it!

Only a few rooms are like the ones pictured. The rest are 4 sq. meters. Breakfast starts at 8:30AM, so we had to go without, as we had to be at the airport by 9AM.

Dopo aver vagliato diverse opzioni avevo scelto \"the cabin\" incuriosita dalla particolarità della struttura e dalle foto della colazione molto invitante. Purtroppo a colazione mi sono scontrata con un'offerta culinaria decisamente esigua e di scarsa qualità. Per quanto riguarda la cabina, che avevo già messo in conto fosse di scarse dimensioni, il problema è stato di altra natura. Per far fronte agli spazi ristretti sarebbe stato \"comodo\" avere almeno modo di appoggiare la valigia su una superficie, un paio di mensole o una struttura simile avrebbe risolto il problema senza occupare spazio. Per il bagno beh, diciamo che a parte l'inconveniente di non avere l'acqua calda l'ultimo giorno e di avere solo sapone per le mani a disposizione il vero problema era un'altro...la ventola d'areazione non funzionava e non essendoci ricircolo d'aria la puzza di umido stagnava in tutta la stanza...senza contare che non essendoci nemmeno un tappetino per asciugare i piedi dopo la doccia tutto il pavimento rimaneva perennemente bagnato. Altra pecca a dir poco intollerabile...passino le lenzuola completamente sgualcite come se fossero state buttate lì a caso...ma il piumino completamente giallo e macchiato che sbucava da sotto metteva letteralmente i brividi. In ultimo ma non da meno direi che l'ospitalità ha lasciato a desiderare, personale poco cortese e molto sbrigativo...poi scusate ma in quale struttura non hanno nemmeno un phon da mettere a disposizione degli ospiti?

The boat is well located but there are some things that are worth mentioning. The staff is ‘just doing their job’ to the minimum, on the boat you hear all the noises of other guests and staff and our cabin was leaking water (condensation) which is normal at a boat but not comfortable when it’s above the bed…
Breakfast is good but also to the minimum. All together a little overpriced but the location makes it a ‘okay choice’ after all.

Adatto solo a chi si adatta. Avevamo una camera matrimoniale con bagno privato. Lo spazio era poco, noi ce la siamo cavata perché avevamo gli zaini ma con delle valigie più grandi sarebbe veramente stato difficile.
La pulizia lascia molto a desiderare: a colpo d’occhio sembrava tutto ok, ma sotto il letto c’era veramente molta polvere. La cosa più grave è stata trovare il piumino del letto macchiato con delle vistose macchie di sangue. Questo mi fa pensare che tra un ospite e l’altro non vengano cambiate le lenzuola e che comunque le pulizie siano fatte un po’ alla buona. Quando ho chiesto che mi venisse dato un piumino nuovo, il receptionist è stato molto gentile e si è scusato.
Altro problema per noi è stato la luce veramente flebile, non si vedeva niente tanto che dovevamo usare le torce del telefono.
Abbiamo trovato un ambiente molto rumoroso, non consiglierei l’hotel a chi ha il sonno leggero. Non è colpa della struttura, ma le aree comuni si trovano proprio sopra le camere e gli altri ospiti erano davvero molto rumorosi e incuranti di chi riposava. La finestra non si poteva chiudere perché il meccanismo era bloccato, quindi sentivamo tutto. La colazione è ok, niente di speciale ma per essere su una barca va più che bene, con opzioni sia dolci che salate. Segnalo la presenza di un cane di taglia decisamente grande che dorme sui divani dove al mattino viene allestita la colazione. Non ha dato fastidio ma sarebbe giusto avvisare gli ospiti, oltre a essere poco igienico.

Book this hotel unhesitatingly, if: you are longing for the deep experience of a passive smoker/ a passive drug consumer; if you are a foot fetishist; if you are curious to listen to the loud intimate stories of the crew members and other guests, nailed directly into your head all night long; if you fancy the music of moving chairs and falling bottles over your bed; if you like to give your clothes to the laundry after your stay.
Stay away from it, if you are an old fashioned person hoping to sleep in the room you paid for, and stay healthy and sane.

No lleho el bote donde nos deberiamos haber quedado, supuestamente ibamos a tener baño pribado y tuvimos baño compartido, y la unica solucion fue ofrecernos el arriendo de las bicicletas al dia siguiente gratis, niuna devolucion de dinero, teniamos cama matrimonial y terminamos durmiemdo en camarote

Das Boot liegt sehr günstig - nah am Bahnhof und zentral. Leider war es in der Nacht sehr laut und es fehlt eine Möglichkeit das Zimmer gut zu belüften. Ansonsten sehr schön und ein Erlebnis :-)

Trevlig personal och högljudda gäster.

Det ”romantiska” rummet var mycket trångt, men kanske helt ok för ett nykärt par.
Rummet låg vid porten som strulade vllket medförde att man vaknande varje gång någon kom hem. Ingen personal som sade till högljudda och fulla gäster så vill man sova tidigt kan man glömma det.
Hade bokat två nätter men tog in på ett annat hotell dag två.
Övrigt mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Lors de mon séjour sur le MPS Noorderzon à Amsterdam, j'ai rencontré quelques désagréments qui ont quelque peu affecté mon expérience. Tout d'abord, le check-in était prévu à 16h, ce qui est assez tard, mais j'ai apprécié la possibilité de laisser mes affaires à bord en avance. Néanmoins, il est important de noter qu'il n'y avait personne pour surveiller les bagages, ce qui peut être une préoccupation pour la sécurité.

En arrivant, j'ai trouvé les toilettes dans un état insatisfaisant, avec la présence d'urine et poils, ce qui m'a donné l'impression d'un manque d'attention aux détails en matière de propreté. De plus, la porte de ma cabine ne se fermait pas correctement, ce qui posait un problème de sécurité et d'intimité.

Bien que l'idée de séjourner sur un bateau soit attrayante et originale, ces aspects ont malheureusement terni l'expérience. Je suggère une attention accrue à la propreté et à la maintenance pour garantir une meilleure expérience aux futurs visiteurs.
