When i arrived was put in room 502, as soon as setting foot into the room i felt like i was being eaten alive.... Swarming with flies and bed bugs. Had to ask for a new room and ask for towels. The staff are lovely which is why I'm even giving any stars

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was small but cozy and the sheets were clean. The location was nice. The building was older but it is as expected and added to the atmosphere of the location. Super convenient to the food, museum area and the metro is also close by. And of course the cute cat!

For what we paid, no complaints. Great location! The staff was super friendly! The only thing is the stairs getting up to the room are VERY steep. We had to walk very slowly, so we wouldn’t fall on our face.

All bad reviews are TRUE. This place is literally crumbling apart. I was in room 106, where the wooden window frames were completely rotten, and the freezing November wind was chilling me to the bone. The sheets were stained, and the carpets were too. Because I was forced to move the bed, I was able to find all kinds of trash there. To make things worse, they charged me twice with a 50 EUR \"security deposit\". One of the charges was reversed, but the other one went through, and my bank is now charging me for it.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen. There was lots of dust in the room and stains everywhere, even on all of the walls. The hotel did not have fresh towels available. When we complained about the room, the hotel staff offered to either do a deep clean the next morning (we still would have had to sleep in that dirty room for the first night) or give us a different room at their sister hotel. We checked out the other room they offered and it looked worse than the one we had booked! By far the worst cleaning I have ever seen in a hotel, very infuriating. For your own health, do not stay at this hotel.

We got a pretty upstairs room, the elevator was broken which is inconvenient when traveling with bags, the staff kindly offered to help however. There was no remote control in the room for the TV, and the room is so small that the door cannot open all the way, but otherwise we liked the room and it’s quirks for the price.

I had many apprehensions booking this hotel due to the reviews. The hotel is located in a great area close to the museum district and the city center. The park across the street is scenic too and I liked chilling there before I went back to the hotel to sleep.

I was in a single unit on the second floor facing the courtyard. I had no noise issues from this unit. My unit was recently renovated it seemed and was very clean. The mattress had discoloration but it wasn’t terrible.

The inside is old and the carpet is stained and unsightly. The hotel would be smart to get rid of the carpet and install cheap flooring it would make the hotel so much nicer and presentable.

Renny was very helpful however the rest of the staff was not. Hotel was very very basic and old. Towels threadbare and had holes or were frayed at edges, bathroom had mold in shower and pillows werevery small and thin for the tripple room costing €250 Euro nightly.Lots if noise from street. As elevators was broken it was very hard to navigate tight spiral staircase with luggage. Plus was easy to navigate to public transportation and tourist attractions.

Overall stay was good, staff was nice but the room stinks so badly. Went for 3 nights, I was scared that I might get bitten by bed bugs as room and bed had this weird smell. If they could do something for smell, maintenance the lift and toilet seat, walking in a stairs was scary.
Hotel is in nice place with convenient price, would rate more if I didn’t find those things.

We enjoyed very much the location, walkable to many of the main attractions and to the local areas. Also very near from a Supermarket, Tram and bus stop. The staff was kind and hospitable, they kindly stored our luggages before check-in time and also after check-out. Reasonable accommodation for a reasonable price.

On arrival at the property I was asked to pay a 50 euro deposit in case of damages. However the card machine wasn't working so I said I would go out and then come back to pay it later. While l was out the reception rang me and told me I needed to pay it as soon as possible. The room had several black marks on the walls and a small hole in one wall. There was tape on the skirting board and on the inside of the door handle. There was a small plank of wood holding a window open which was jammed and I couldn't get it out. I had to ask reception to remove it so I could close the window overnight.. The stairs were curved and very narrow upto the first floor so carrying a suitcase up was difficult. No lift and no help offered. I am a single mam travelling with two children. I would not recommend this place to anyone else.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to share my experience.

On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is conveniently located near many of the city’s main attractions.

However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bed sheets, pillowcases, mattress, and covers all had visible stains and did not appear to be properly cleaned. The door and its handles were also noticeably dirty. To make matters worse, I found long hair inside one of the bath towels, which was very off-putting.

The most unpleasant part on the last night of my stay was discovering an underwear left under the bed from previous. This raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene and housekeeping standards of the hotel.

Unfortunately, despite the good location and kind staff, I would not choose to stay here again unless the cleanliness improves significantly.

Oh boy. This hotel is a shambles. The staff are very nice and the location is great, but don’t expect it to be clean or in good working order. The carpets needed to be replaced ten years ago and the laminate floors have probably never been washed in that span either. The bathroom is so small you have to go outside to change your mind and they somehow crammed three single beds into a hallway and called it a triple room. I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, especially at the price I paid. That being said, everything else was much more expensive and we slept well. You have been warned.

The best part of this hotel was leaving. The beds felt like going through a bushtucker trial. If you are willing to endure the horrific conditions and standards that they deem acceptable the one highlight is their emotional support cat cleopatra who you will need to go through this. The mattress was stained with multiple substances of varying colour all disgusting. Upon finding this put we complained and received an upgrade but it does not redeem such disgusting subpar standards.

Firstly, the rooms are fine. Bit tired and rundown but for a couple of nights I could deal with this for the benefit of the relatively central location. We were in a basement room which, be warned, is noisy. You'll have a window that is literally at ground level to the outside which is a busy main road so you'll get foot traffic, car traffic, and shouting 24/7. We were relatively satisfied until checkout when I handed my one key card to the girl on reception who couldn't wait to tell me that the person who checked us in had put two in the system and that \"this will have to be charged\". When we checked in we were asked how many key cards we wanted and we asked for one and were given one. This was clearly a ploy to keep the €50 cash deposit you have to handover when you arrive. I told the girl we had only asked for one and she rudely and aggressively just kept saying the system said we had two and repeated that it would be charged. To cut to the chase I asked her if this was her way of keeping our deposit to which she asked me to be polite. It was all absolute nonsense and she then continued to repeat the word \"politeness\" to me without answering my questions, then continuing to go on about the second key card we never had in the first place. I made it clear I was not leaving without the deposit at which point she banged around and handed me a €50 note and kept saying \"politeness\". I was perfectly polite but there's not a chance I'm falling for a blatant con like this.

This place has overall great and has a good location, however you may bear a few expectations in mind:

-room cards kept deactivating and we had to reactivate them several times which was frustrating.

This is a two-star hotel and it would be unfair to expect any kind of luxury for the price I paid in a major European capital city. The floor of my room wasn't even, which meant that one side of the bed was slightly higher than the other and the window was propped open by the TV remote control when I arrived. The bed was immediately next to the window, so it was draughty with the window open, but too hot with the window closed, and light got through underneath the curtains. As I say, for the price I paid, I have no complaints and I was only staying one night (which is one of the reasons I decided to go cheap). I wouldn't have wanted to stay for any length of time though, as the lack of sleep would have had a negative effect on my enjoyment of the city.

Choisissez une chambre supérieur et ce sera ok.

Cet hotel etait le meilleur choix économique au moment de choisir une chambre privé. Je ne voulais pas d'un lit dans un dortoir avec des gens souvent mal éduqué qui ne savent pas être discret et respectueux. Ma chambre au Blossom hotel était la 105 au 1er étage. Elle est petite mais propre et confortable. Pas aussi terrible qu'en disent certaines critiques. Y a un ascenceur pour monter les étages au lieu de prendre des escaliers étroits. La réception est 24h et le staff est serviable. Près du métro et des trams. Y a beaucoup de d'attraits touristiques accessible à pied autour comme le rijksmuseum et heineken ecperience. Y avait du moisi autour de la fenêtre de ma chambre mais c'est pas quelque chose qui m'a empêché d'être confortable et comme tout est très chers à Amsterdam, je dirais que le rapport qualité/prix était bon pour cette ville. Je le recommande mais choisissez un chambre plus cher que celles au prix de base à mon avis.

Room was tiny which is normal in Amsterdam, but the mattress was so bobbly the bobbles could be felt through the sheets. Window in a state of rot so totally sealed and room couldnt be ventilated. Although old most items were clean. Location is amazing and the staff nice
There ade a flight of steps to the front door that some people will struggle with. I would stay here again despite these issues though.

Situated in a really convenient location very close to the Heineken Experience and a metro station. It only takes about 5 minutes on the metro to Amsterdam Centraal Station. I stayed in a single room on the 3rd floor which was very basic and mostly clean (there was a couple of stains on the bedroom carpet but they were barely noticeable.) It was ideal for just me. Staff were helpful and it had some kitchen basics that guests could use near the reception desk. I also briefly met the hotel cat near the reception which was a joy for me.

Great location, close to the metro that is just one stop away from Amsterdam Centraal and hotel is right beside the Heineken experience. Within close walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the Albert Cuyp Market. Very helpful and friendly hotel staff, comfy bed and good shower in room. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We stayed at blossoms for our first night in Amsterdam, and with it being so close to the city centre it was very convenient. The room we had was for 3 single beds and it was clean and tidy, and the bathroom facilities were decent. Staff were helpful in letting us drop our bags off and check in early, as well as recommendations for attractions, eg coffeshops, bars etc.

Very typical small Amsterdam hotel across from the Heineken Brewery. Good location for investigating Albert Cuypstraat market (which you should!). There’s a very good brown bar on the corner downstairs. Rooms very small and TV channels are practically non-existent but staff are friendly and it’s fine for a short stay, which mine was. No complaints.

Budget hotel in a good well-equipped area. The receptionists were helpful and polite. The single room was small but clean and had a TV, wifi and ensuite how shower and toilet.

The hotel is noisy and the walls are thin so you can hear the elevator and doors slamming. You get used to it and it’s not throughout the whole night But I did say on a Tuesday to Thursday, so not sure how the weekend is

Overall the hotel is a no frills hotel but does the job and is a very good area With a metro close by supermarket, good restaurants.

The hotels in Amsterdam really expensive and this one isn’t and if it’s for a few nights, I would stay again.
