The location of this hotel was everything for us. The neighborhood is very safe, restaurants and cafes near by, one block away from the Metro station and few blocks away from main attractions. Customer service was excellent. The rooms were cleaned properly and we were even allowed to ccheck in early for free 😊 Ignacio, the hotel manager was very informative and friendly. The room we stayed in was a bit small but I guess this is what you get in Europe the bathroom was clean.

We had a mixed experience during our five day stay at this hotel.

The Positives: First, the location is excellent. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the area. Furthermore, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The reception team genuinely tried to assist us with all requests.

The Major Issues: Unfortunately, there were significant drawbacks that affected our comfort.

Room Size: The rooms are unacceptably small and severely limited in space.

Shower Problem: I experienced a severe issue with the shower: every few seconds, there was a burst of scalding hot water (to the point of being a burn risk), immediately followed by ice cold water.

Despite repeated requests over my entire five-day stay, and despite the best efforts of the reception staff to arrange a fix, this shower problem was never solved.

What is most frustrating is that a colleague staying in a different room during the same period did not experience this issue. This strongly suggests that a simple, logical solutio, moving me to a different room, would have resolved the problem immediately. This room change was neither offered nor executed, which significantly impacted my comfort and overall experience.

While we appreciate the friendly service, the failure to resolve a critical maintenance issue over five full days, especially when a simple room swap was available, is unacceptable.

The Hotel is very well appointed, conveniently located to different dining options, metro and shopping . The hotel itself is basic, would be nice to see more amenities , we ask for hangers , they dont have them and lack of space in the room to put your clothing away. we saw that the same hotel in an near by city provided guest with umbrellas as it was awfully raining, we asked in our hotel they don't offer that either , it was a bit disappointing having barely minimum amenities.

The best thing about this hotel is the fact that the beds and the shower are both very good. Pillows are excellent.
Rooms are very basic - no wardrobe, no hairdryer or tea or coffee or hand towels. There is soap and toilet paper. If two people are sharing this would be a nightmare!
Tiny space and no privacy.
By far, the worst thing is the paper thin walls. You can hear people turning over in bed, snoring and farting through the walls. If someone is watching TV next door it’s a total nightmare for everyone adjacent and above and below them - especially if you are trying to relax or sleep.
The wall is literally a curtain between rooms. Not exaggerating. If you have no one around you - it’s fine. If you are in busy season - yikes! Its unbelievable that licenses for hotel buildings with no sound proofing and such poor building materials can be approved!
I wouldn’t stay again. The hotel staff were really nice.

Such a great hotel for a good price, exactly what we needed for 4 nights in Amsterdam. The room with two twin beds was small but the beds were comfortable and the size was not really an issue even with two adults. The location was also great: tons of restaurants nearby, right next to a tram and metro stop, 15 min walks to both Heineken Experience and Rijksmuseum. Highly recommend easyHotel CCS and would book here again when visiting Amsterdam!

The air conditioner wasn't working properly in my room 211 for August 13, 14 and checking out on 15.
I noticed that the reception area was nice and cool while my room was warm. I mentioned it to the receptionist and he did mentioned that they were making an effort to repair it. Two young female travelers who were at the hotel were sitting down in the reception area to cool down.
A recommendation would be to add a ceiling fan to the room. It would aid in cooling the place down more efficient.

Small hotel room but very comfy

The room I had in this hotel made every inch of space useful to squeeze in a double bed and a shower room.
I've seen people say it's too small and cramped but it is more than adequate if you're just gonna use the hotel to sleep after exploring Amsterdam during the day.
The only thing I felt the room lacked was storage and surfaces, such as a table.
My shower door made an awful noise when opened but this was reported to the hotel in their own correspondence. They even gave me a discount voucher by email, which was nice.

The hotel is very close to the metro and tram lines and there are shops and dining nearby, if you need it. It doesn't take long to get to the centre of Amsterdam though.
I'd recommend travelling to the food halls, either Market 33 near Amsterdam Zuid or Foodhallen in Oud-West.

It's a good budget hotel in a pricier city. Though budget in Amsterdam is not budget in some cities, for one of Amsterdam's cheaper hotels it's perfectly fine.

This hotel is very near the De Pijp Metro station. To the centre of Amsterdam it is twenty five minutes on foot, 15 minutes by tram, five minutes by metro.

Check in was effecient (like everywhere in Amsterdam English is spoken) and the room was spotlessly clean. The hotel was amazingly quiet. We barely heard anyone in the hotel and the area is quiet overnight despite being quite buzzy during the evening.

If I have one criticism it is that the rooms are small. There is very little storage, no wardrobe and no desk. We literally lived out of our suitcases.

I was prepared for it to be small, but the bed is attached to the wall, so when you turn over, your feet will stick to the wall, making it impossible for large people to sleep comfortably. Every time I took a shower, I had to go to the reception desk on the first floor to borrow a hair dryer, which was extremely unpleasant.

This is a nice quaint hotel. If you only need a place to crash and most of the time outside exploring the city. Staffs like Kevin are a delight. The room is small and same with the toilet and bath. If you have too many electronics to charge, I suggest you bring a multi-outlet extension cord. Also there is no cabinet to store clothes, but they have a nifty dress and coat hanger. The area is accessible and near the Albert Cuyp Market. So foodies and bargain hunters will love this place. It is also close to Metro 52 (Zuid and Noord). So you can easily go to Centraal easily. Overall very nice experience.

Poor service - very disappointing from the moment I got in. The receptionist literally told me to “STOP!” with her hand 1m before the front desk. I was absolutely shocked. After she saw my caucasian boyfriend, she totally changed her attitude and apologised for her behaviour.
(The staff on the day we checked out was nice and polite)

Lift out of service - we were assigned to a room on 4/F but the lift was out of service so we had to bring all the luggages by ourselves.

Room extremely small - quite dusty, bedsheet not the cleanest but acceptable, sink is super small (couldn’t wash our faces/brush our teeth without splashing water on the floor)

No in-room amenities - no hairdryer, little space for placing toiletries
Shower not good - it was burning sometimes

I had never been to such hotel with this kind of quality, would not recommend it.

Disappointed and wouldn’t use again. I would rather spend a little more and choose a nicer hotel, or spend less and stop in a hostel.
We booked two rooms. One had a dirty toilet and the shower had a smell of drains. The other room was poorly cleaned, had stains on the walls and blinds. The aircon was very loud, and woke me up, and I can usually sleep through anything! Also the room we had backed onto a stairwell which meant we couldn’t have our blinds up as two other rooms looked into our window. See picture. Think this should be mentioned by the hotel as it was the same price as the other room.

We payed for early check in to one room to drop off our bags. This was €20, which I think is a lot, and most other hotels let you do this for free or a smaller charge. When hotels have a check in time, I assume this is so they have enough time to get the room clean and ready for the next guest. This clearly wasn’t done as my room was filthy. I wouldn’t have minded paying the fee if the room was in good condition but it wasn’t.

I’ve stayed in five other hotels this week, all but one booked on hotels.com, and all of them will be getting five star reviews. I’m not picky, I just expect a clean, comfortable room and helpful staff. You won’t get this here.

The Easy Hotel was not what we were expecting. The rooms were much smaller than expected, however the efficiency, location and staff engagement more than made up for the initial concern. We quickly adapted to the small space and appreciated how the staff provided help and great advice. A real win for visitors planning on seeing the sights and only needing a quiet, clean and safe place to sleep and regroup during the day.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and in a good location. There are plenty of streetcar lines nearby along with a metro station. I walked to the Central Station. It is a good 45 minute walk but Amsterdam is absolutely flat so no hills. I picked this hotel since it is one of the cheapest ones so it is no frills but I didn't mind. It filled its purpose. It was very quiet too. They offered an early check-in but for a price of 15 euros.

People at the desk have no idea what they are doing, I was asking for a manager’s information to request a full refund for my stay and got threatened by a hotel employee. This hotel is great for its purpose which is to come to a clean room, super comfy bed and friendly staff after a long day of exploring Amsterdam. The metro station is across the street and can go anywhere in AMS from that station. Id say like five min to the center and five mins walk to the Albert cuypmarkt. It is not in the main center which is great not to wake up to group of tourists every morning and can walk to the market for some traditional breakfast! One thing i need to mention is Angel who works at the front desk who is an amazing guy! He had an answer to every question i asked, very professional, great at doing his job and speaks English very well!! He should deff be in charge of the other front desk agents

The hotel is reasonable value for money considering the location and cost of living in general. Room is small for a double, but nothing was broken or too dirty though there was a stain on the window blind. The check out time of 1000 hours can be tough if you didn't have a good night sleep!!!

The hotel is close to the tram/metro and a well known part of the city. I wouldn't call it a tourist area but it shouldn't put tourists off.

I wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms are very small with a frosted bathroom. They are not cleaned at all during the duration of your stay. There are no amenities and no where to put your suitcase or belongings.
The girls at the reception were quite rude and unhelpful. You also have to pay to store your luggage which I found pretty odd.
The good thing is its in a decent location and close to the train.

Great location! Very easy to access metro and tram.. quite comfy.. the bed nice as well..
