The location is a bit far from the metro and all museums. The place was clean, but the walls are thin and the beds uncomfortable. It’s a okay place for a night or two. We rented bikes from the hotel and had to return them because they weren’t great. There is cafe/restaurant in the lobby which is convenient.

Location: 45 min walk to the red district (nice walk) otherwise train to Amsterdam central (confusion stations/ metro options) but technically convinient. Uber at night costs 40-60 eur to go back if trains are unavailable from central.

Staff: after 18 hours of flying , I was hoping to PAY for an early check in. this was 12:30 pm, I was dismissed and not cared for. Not even a small chat to see why I needed the early check in. I arrived at 2:40, before check in time. Response from the front, so you are too early. Zero attention to customer service, very disservice, what would be a difference between a self check in, and a human at this point.

Rooms: not well kept, very noisy, thin walls, and thing doors. You can hear everything. Housekeeping yelling at each other as well early in the morning. Quite annoying. Electric radiator. Zero amenities, no shampoo, no kits, this is barebones. No hairdryer.

Around: nice residential are very cute and with hidden gem “the cottage” a restaurant nearby with uninterrupted service and amazing food options. There’s a gym nearby where you can get a day pass( front desk had no idea).

Bilden i annonsen visar ett mysigt rum med tavlor på väggarna, en härlig säng med färgglada textilier etc. Vilken lögn! Rummet var en kal cell utan minsta dekorationer och bara en stol. Sängarna är två smala madrasser på golvet. Den delen av rummet är golvet upphöjt 30 cm. Obekvämt att ta sig upp och ner från sängen och nivåskillnaden. Badrummet är också upphöjt.Gissa om jag snubblade på dessa nivåskillnader!
Handfatet är ute i rummet. Som på ett vandrarhem. Badrummet extremt trångt och inte minsta hylla i duschen att ställa schampo mm på. Också obekvämt!
Sängkuddarna är som fluffiga moln= obekväma.

Nuförtiden finns i alla hotellrum en vattenkokare plus the, kaffe etc. Men här fanns inte ens ett glas! Det fick jag be städerskan om.

Knepigt att ta sig till rummet genom flera korridorer, rum och dörrar och en manuellt styrd hiss till sista våningen. Den var två gånger ur funktion så jag fick ta mig tillbaks ner och hämta en personal som fixade det.

På det hela taget var detta inte värt namnet hotellrum, mer något provisoriskt under konstruktion.

10 dagar före jag anlände mailade jag hotellet 6 gånger via formulär på deras egen webbplats, fick ett automatiskt svar att de snarast skulle återkomma vilket de aldrig gjorde.När jag påtalade detta skyllde receptionisten på någon annan.Så klart!

Hade jag vetat allt detta hade jag inte bokat detta så kallade hotell. Jag kommer tillbaks till A´dam men aldrig till detta hotell. Och kommer aldrig rekommendera det!

Bare-bones and uninspired

We arrived and had to wait for the receptionist, who was on break, which is fine but- a guest before us had stood waiting, without anyone asking to help them, for 20 minutes!! and when we asked to check in to go get dinner, no one really knew what to do or where the receptionist was??
When we got to our room it was, in two words, bare bones. We barely had any table-space to unpack clothes or other items. The rooms are kinda big but unfilled and colourless. The pictures are a lie as far as I can tell.
The rooms' walls are paper thin. We were woken several times.

The breakfast buffet is most of the time dry-ish but it was ok. We had to ask multiple days for standard refills like cutlery, eggs, etc. When we went down, we were rarely met with a \"good morning, what room number do you have?\" to check us off the list - we had to initiate that too.

Location was nice though with good transport connections and both short and long walks to restaurants etc.

All in all, I feel lied to via the hotel room pictures and the overall vibe of the place was meh.

Also, they claim to be eco-friendly, but they give you a bunch of new, towels every day, even when you don't ask for your room cleaned... so, not really that eco-friendly on that part.

The position and facilities of the hotel were good. Nice bar, open space, good connections to transport links. The look and decor was brilliant. Breakfast was good and the staff were excellent. The room size and facilities were fine except no cooling/air conditioning. The room was incredibly hot (it was 30c during the day, and the window opened only a few centimetres. A fan would have been good as we couldn't close the window at night, due to heat but street noise and mosquitos were bad. We didn't really sleep- this spoiled the trip.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my teenage daughter whilst visiting Amsterdam. The nearest train station is only a 4 minute walk to the hotel and then 1 stop to Amsterdam central which was easy to navigate. Plenty of amenities in the local area to the hotel for everything you need. Staff were really helpful and accommodating. I had initially worried about noise from the venue but this was never an issue. I would gladly stay here again and recommend to others.

Don’t expect a traditional hotel because this ain’t it. The place is also a music venue with studios and offices, and it was buzzing with lots of people. Nice atmosphere. We would stay again.

This hotel has false advertisement. In it's description it stated that the rooms were sound proof. That was a lie. We checked in and could hear the person next to us snoring and their TV. In addition the rooms in the pictures don't show the whole truth. The walls were filthy, the floor was concrete with a singular filthy rug. The balcony is shared with no lighting or camera which makes it feel unsafe. Other reviews have stated they've eeven had thefts from entry by the balcony. We checked out as soon as we found a new place to stay. The front desk person was very understanding of our complaints. He stated staff has tried to talk to the owner about the issues but they simply don't care. Luckily he was kind enough to refund our stay. I would avoid this place unless you're at a performance there and need to crash for the night.

The rooms like nothing like the pictures on the site, the rooms were dark, small and dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was mould and grime around the skirting seals and bogey on the wall, no appliances like a hairdryer and sink was on the outside of the bathroom that could only hold 1 person, the shower didn’t work and sprayed water up onto the ceiling, walls were like paper and could hear either side of us like there was no walls there

Super industrial style hotel that was next to a studio/stage. Incredibly cool experience at this hotel, with a nice cafe in the lobby.

There were a few shows happening during our weekend stay but didn’t hear a single thing from our rooms! The staff were friendly and had daily room changeovers.

Location is great for easy access to different tram lines and it felt very safe. Was also around a few shops to look through but overall super lovely!

Our room was overall clean, but we noticed quite a few stains on the walls, and there was a strange scent coming from the washroom—possibly from the drain or the scent diffuser. The room was small and compact, which worked fine for a short stay. A deposit was required for the hair dryer, and the soundproofing wasn't great as we could hear sounds from nearby rooms. Luckily, it stayed mostly quiet at night, so we were able to rest well.

Some of the staff was super slow, especially in the evening. The shower of my room smelled badly of drain, and I had to pour water through it several times per day to keep down the bad smell.

Breakfast was very good, but you should consider making regular coffee available at a self-served machine so we don't have to wait for the waiter to prepare coffees.

The staff at check in was amazing, I want to thank personally Oman, the receptionist, who was incredible and so helpful and friendly. The hotel is very rustic, not dirty but very industrial. A lot of people were always crowded outside and it is a little far from the center of the city but there is a lot of transportation nearby (tram/bus). Maybe better for a younger crowd but if you're older this is not the place for you.

Was really clean and warm despite part of the hotel looking like a construction site (not sure if this was aesthetic or not). The room was very minimal/warehouse aesthetic. Quick and easy to get on local transport into the city. Only downside was that you could hear people walking (heavily!!) around quite clearly in the adjoining rooms. However, when there was a gig downstairs, we wouldn’t have even known because we didn’t hear it.

In Amsterdam is a freezing weather now and the room didn’t have AC and I got very sick, also it smells terrible inside the room like a mouldy smell, the room didn’t have any hair dryer and also there were bugs. The reception staff had an attitude , the only normal people in the hotel were the ladies working at the bar. Very expensive for the facilities it offers. Avoid

Very noisy outside every night in an otherwise quiet neighbourhood. Local teens arguing loudly and revving car / motorcycle engines until 4 or 5 in the morning meant I could not sleep with window open, which was necessary as it was hot and the air con was not man enough to cool the room. Very basic fascilities, unhelpful staff in the restraunt.

Cold rooms and misleading photos!

I recently stayed this hotel in Amsterdam and unfortunately, my experience was not great. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the room itself had a number of issues that made my stay uncomfortable.

Firstly, the room had no carpeting, which made the floors incredibly cold. This was compounded by the fact that the ceiling and walls were made of raw concrete, which made the room feel even colder. Additionally, the bathroom light was very low, which made it difficult to see anything in the bathroom.

A group of 10 of us stayed here in multiple rooms, however, nobody in the entire group had a room that resembled any of the pictures used to advertise the property. This is wrong and very misleading to say the least.

The sink was located in the room itself, rather than in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. Furthermore, the blinds in the room could not be closed, so I had to get dressed in the dark using the light from my phone.

I had paid for an upgraded room, but unfortunately, it was still very poor. The water in the room was cold, which was uncomfortable for showering. There was also no iron in the room, which was inconvenient for me as a traveler.

While the staff were helpful and did their best to make my stay comfortable, the issues with the room made it difficult for me to enjoy my time at the hotel.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

While the hotel appears funky this does not detract from the reality that it is very basic, there is limited noise insulation so you hear everything from your adjacent rooms. There are no cups/ glasses never mind tea/coffee facilities in the room. Some rooms are a long way from reception and when you get there the beds are not very comfortable.

It’s an unusual hotel. I drove up but the street side is well labeled Q Factory but the entrance is on the side a pedestrian only street. The style is a nice factory and with painted concrete floors and exposed cable trays and HVAC ducts above. The throw rugs look as they were purchased from second hand stores and the wheels of my luggage snagged them a few times. I had a room on the fourth floor and I should have listened to the directions to my room. The fourth floor is accessed not my the lobby elevator which has a 4th floor but I had to exit through the lobby of the 3rd floor and then down the hall to another lift to the 4th floor.

The room had the factory feel to it. The bathroom was very attractive with large shower. My room had a small refrigerator and hot water pot i didn’t expect but I like. Not a lot of TV channels but a few English channels are there. Breakfast was worth the extra few Euros.

Visited with friends for 2 nights! Problem at checkin due to being charged extra tax which took sometime for reception to sort, the rooms not easy to get to, hotel is very basic with a strange smell in all areas, bed was comfy In our room but friends disagree with theirs as the doubles were 2 singles pushed together!
The bar had very little selection of spirits available but we did receive a complimentary coffee on the morning of departure! One of our rooms had condom wrappers under the bed so obvious not been cleaned thoroughly, we had towels changed but they never removed rubbish! Hotel is easy for transport links into central station area.

The location is in a small shopping area, not far from a train stop. If you are looking to be further away from the tourists in city center, this is a great place for you. it is a quick bike ride or trolly ride to anywhere you may want to go.

Not a standard hotel! Great location, close to transport, shops and cafes. Quite a cool place full of musicians. The rooms are quite basic but with all you need and with good showers. The staff is friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was ok but limited in terms of choice. If I went back I would probably not choose to have breakfast there. This hotel is great if you plan to attend a show in the same venue. If not, stay away and book something different. My room was not clean: sewage smell in bathroom, mold in fridge, (blood?) stains on the wall. The room is small, in addition to hearing every word from neighboring rooms, you can also hear a bass playing all night, and the balcony that looks like a private outside space on the photos is in fact a shared corridor where people hang out and smoke.

It was great to stay at Q factory hotel very friendly staff and helpful. I didn't like the extra fees that I have to pay for hotels.com though. I would be great if there is everything started clearly and not in the small print when paying for this reservation

My room was infested with bed bugs. I discovered it quickly but needed to spend an hour disinfecting my clothes. Staff were very apologetic and gave me a room 'upgrade' which was exactly like the other tiny cell where the two mattresses were awkwardly put together, otherwise completely the same. Took them three days before they fumigated my old room.

Food sucks. Wifi sucks. Hotel room door didn't lock properly, meaning I came back to the door being open. Bathroom smelt very moldy.

Don't waste your time.

Good service, but needs improvement

I was super excited to check-in, but it went downwards from the moment we went to the rooms area. The design concept is nice and this is what made me book it in the first place, but the execution wasn't that good. Industrial design needs a good attention to detail pull it off, or else it just looks unfinished.

I booked it for 4 nights for me and my fiance , and 1 for my parents. We stood only for 1 night as we had to wait for the manager to find make a cancellation for my parents and find a solution for our complains. The balcony has holes in it and is shared with 3 other sooms. The room itself was small, with no ac and the rugs were old, to say the least.

I have to mention the good stuff as well thought. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was nice, the staff was helpful and my refund was also done in a short time.

concrete floor has groves which are full of grease from builders.

NO beds. matrases are on wooden pallets. !!! sink in room !!!
after poo or pee you have to go out from Toilet room and wash clean you hands in living WASHroom?? WHAT is Going on?
no toothbrash no hairdryer, shelf (raw plywood ) on wall - mean desk??
another peace of plywood and wooden pole mean wardrope ???

look like jail but you have to pay for it :(

Quirky music themed nice cafe attached and an exellent music venue. A little noisy at night but i live in London next to an overground station so a little noise doesn't bother me.
