We booked a Deluxe Twin room and ended up in a tiny long attic room with head to toe cabin beds that you put children into. Not what was advertised on their website. The hotel changed our room the next day after a complaint and we got a complimentary bag of local biscuits as a sorry. After a complaint to their HQ we were told they would refund our first night's stay.

I've stayed here a few times. It's convenient for where I'm visiting but I also like to think it's a nice hotel. The X's everywhere gives me the hotel fromThe Shining kind of vibe, but the service is good and no ghosties. Museum and park across the road. Muiderpoort station a few minutes walk from the hotel.

A menu for room service would be good. The TVs are old with no smart functions. Bike hire period extension on the website is not possible.

Staff were all excellent. Room was spacious and clean. Shower has great pressure.
About a 30 minute walk from central Amsterdam. Oosterpark is right across the street. Plenty of tram options to get to other areas and an easy trip to and from the airport.
It was quite nice to be further out from the central area, evenings and nights are nice and quiet, while still being close enough to go out and enjoy.
Overall lovely stay. Will absolutely stay again if we visit the city again!

The Manor Hotel was a gem! Located a bit outside the ring of the tourist trodden areas, The Manor is located in a charming neighborhood with several fabulous pubs and restaurants. The tram is a block away and for only a few euros will deliver you to everything you would ever want to do in Amsterdam.

Our room was comfortable, functional, and clean. The corridor was a bit shappy (carpets were dirty with a few pieces of litter) but the rest of the hotel was fine. The location was great and a much quieter than central Amsterdam which we liked. Supermarkets and small local restaurants within a few minutes walk. Trams passed close by (one just outside the hotel) providing easy access to different parts of the city. Would stay again if price was right.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was a great choice. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location was convenient close to a tram stop and within walking distance of some good restaurants (we went to Cottage multiple days for breakfast). The staff was helpful as well. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel that worked perfectly for our trip.

The Manor was an amazing hotel. Every member of staff could not do enough for us. Thank you to everyone. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The room was big enough for my partners mobility scooter. We stayed for 4 nights and had breakfast every day. We thought breakfast was good value for money with lots of choice. The coffee and orange juice were fantastic.

Great location near two tram stops. Tram 14 to and from Central station. Trams 1, 3 and 19 too to explore the museums and other parts of the city. Lots of local shops and cafes to eat in within walking distance of the hotel.

We would stay at the Manor hotel when we visit Amsterdam again. The lift was big enough for my partners folding mobility scooter and the hotel kindly let us leave this here until it was time to catch the Eurostar.

The room setup was great. Shelving and closet space was ample. We were delighted by the small balcony with our room. The breakfast was standard, but good. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Stayed in Room #39 and Room #27 and found the space to be suitable for both and older couple (50+) and younger couple (21+). Decent choice for breakfast, comfy beds, hot showers and plenty of cupboard space for a long weekend. Highly recommend.

Location is a little out of the centre, only a 40-minute walk (it's a beautiful walk) or a ten-minute tram ride from the centre.

I would recommend this hotel to all.

I recently stayed at your hotel from July 15 to July 19, 2025, and while I enjoyed my visit, I am disappointed with how a reservation issue was handled. Due to an error in my booking, I was charged for an extra day, an additional breakfast, and full taxes despite providing four days' notice to amend the reservation.

Before my trip, I contacted your staff, who assured me the issue could be resolved by reaching out to the booking company. The booking company informed me they contacted the hotel, but I was told the hotel declined to issue a refund. This experience is frustrating, as it impacts my perception of your property.

As frequent travelers, my family and I value reliable service and clear communication. Unfortunately, this situation has led us to reconsider recommending your hotel to others.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and son while I was attending a business event. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large enough for 3 people.

One thing that was odd and not very conducive to a family sharing a room is that the bathroom door is frosted glass. This means that if someone has to be up early and turns the light on in the bathroom, it lights up the whole hotel room. I had to be up early so it was quite disruptive to my family who were trying to sleep.

Otherwise the hotel met our needs for the trip.

Overall a nice property. Area was pretty safe (was notified that the park across the street was a bit dodgy at night). But as a solo female I felt overall safe. The hotel was close to a major tram line and some nice restaurants. I felt a little far from the action though, keep in mind which sites you'd like to do and make sure this isn't too out of the way. The people were very friendly. The bathroom door didn't offer a lot of privacy (if you're travelling with otheres)

The Manor was a lovely hotel. I liked the ongoing Red Cross hospital theme given its history. It could be a little noisy at night but mainly from outside so not much that can be done about that. Would definitely recommend it to others.

The most wonderful sleep! The bed was super comfortable and really enjoyed our sleep ins. The staff were super lovely and accommodating, and recommend getting the breakfast included.
Our only dislike was the shower, which would erratically go super hot or cold for a few seconds, but it gave us reason to enjoy the bath instead!
Hotel is close to all transport options and while we were away from the main city, it was easy to get around. We were also able to leave our luggage as we weren't travelling back until later in the day.
Also loved the 12pm checkout - I wish all hotels did this as standard. It makes for a much more relaxed checkout!

What a perfectly lovely hotel. It's a bit far East but there is the 19 and 14 tram nearby and the 22 bus. I got everywhere in the city I needed within 20-30 minutes at most.

Great hotel!

The Manor Hotel is a class act. Excellent clean rooms, easy walk to many places of interest, near bus and trams... And the service is top notch. I have stayed twice now. A few years ago and just recently. They are helpful and friendly right from the point of check in. The rooms have high ceilings and are spacious. I would recommend this hotel.

It was a middle of the road stay. Not fantastic but quite good all the same. The room are very loud and not soundproof at all, you can hear everything going on around you. The bar is strange, it said there was a happy hour from 18:00 - 21:00 on a Saturday but when we went to check there was no-one working at the bar at all. The check in process is smooth and the beds are extremely comfortable. The location is not too bad. Only 15 minutes on the tram to the city centre.

Convenient location if you don't mind a short (10-15 minutes) interesting and safe walk to the center of Amsterdam. Clean hotel, modern rooms, friendly and helpful front desk. Nice breakfast but a bit pricey. Good and far-priced dining options in nearby trendy restaurants filled with young professionals. Right on tram lines if you want to get around that way, also easy to get Uber.

Lovely hotel & friendly staff.
On our first night there our aircon wasn't working, so we were provided with a fan & then moved to another room that became available the following day. There were tea & coffee making facilities, a fridge & bottles of water in the room & a little treat on arrival. Shampoo & shower gel in the bathroom. Comfy beds & pillows & the blackout curtains were great. Couldn't sleep with the windows open on the street side due to traffic noise at night.
Breakfast buffet in the hotel was good & there is a new restaurant that has opened with a good menu in the evenings & also a bar.
You can take a train from Amsterdam Airport or Amsterdam Centraal to Muiderpoort Station & it's a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel.

Me and my wife both got bitten by mosquitos throughout the night. Very angry and upset as we felt itchy when we woke up but only noticed it after we checked out. The bites are all over both of us which was outside the duvet, we’re very unhappy with this, as this shows the uncleanliness of the hotel too.

Pros:The room was spacious and clean. Water pressure was good and staff friendly. Multiple tram lines near the hotel and also a train station so it was pretty convenient to travel around.

Cons: We visited during the summer and the air conditioner wasn't working very well. The air was weak and not cold. We made a complaint and the staff gave us a fan for the stay. Not the best as we purposedly booked this place because it is advertised with hotel rooms with air conditioner.

Another room when we checked in had a strong cannabis smell and after complaining, staff sprayed air freshener and gave the room a fan to circulate the air.

A very unique stay! Beds were comfy, blackout curtains made the room dark, and LOTS of lighting in the room. The room key light switch reminded me to take my card before leaving, however this turned off the electricity to the room, which would have been nice to be able and charge a few of my electronics while I was away.

All-in-all, I can’t wait to visit and stay here again!

The Manor is perfectly located away from the city center, but near parks, shopping, dining, and a hop-skip from the trams and train. Lovely upscale area, I felt safe walking at night. Exceptional customer service from the front desk and bar. I will stay here any time i return to Amsterdam.
