Room was clean and perfect for our needs. Kids loved the bunk beds. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Location was great too and having a supermarket round the corner made life easier for snacks on the way into the centre.

At first when we arrived, I was a little worried about our booking choice but it actually was a great little place. We didn't choose the breakfast option so I can't comment. Check in was great. Having spent a lot of time in the Old Town it was really nice to be out of it and in a neighbourhood. A10 walk in one direction takes you right to the Metro which is then just a 8 minute metro downtown Old Town and a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to a lovely street and neighbourhood and Tram. We had breakfast at a lovely place called the Cottage. Rooms were clean, quiet and it was nice to have cooking options if we had stayed longer. Oh and there is a grocery store 2 minute walk from the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! the room was just around the corner from the reception desk which was convenient. At times in the evening we could hear a bit of noise . The breakfast was very good! The only compliant is this hotel is on the Eastside which made our travels to the central area a long way (for us) to travel. One must walk a few blocks to get the tram and then travel about 20 to 30 minutes to get around where all the good restaurants are and cancel rides, museums. But the hotel was very nice.

The location is terrific: less than ten minutes' walk - pulling luggage - from Amstel Station; across the street from Lidl (grocery - similar to US Aldi); a block and a half from a lovely park; ten minutes walking to restaurants and shops. Our room was lovely, with an excellent bed and a walk-in waterfall shower; staff were all solicitous and helpful; and the breakfast each day was really a brunch with many, many options. Chasse Hotel Residency was perfect for our four-day visit to Amsterdam!

Extremely comfortable hotel in quiet neighborhood

We just spent five nights here and will definitely stay again. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the location is quiet. We were visiting family in Oost, so the location was extremely convenient, but if you are coming to Amsterdam to see the center, this is a bit off the beaten track. You will need either a bike or to take the tram, which is nearby.

Clean rooms but no vista.

I booked a family room and was given two adjoining rooms. Our view out of the window in our ground floor rooms faces a patch of green with full of discarded items lying around next to a car park.

This hotel is 800 metres away from Amstel Station. Close by there is Lidl Supermarket. Other than that - one would have to walk 800 metres to F&B joints.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. A special shoutout to the receptionist, Mahtab, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. A Gem in Amsterdam

It is a hidden gem in Amsterdam. The hotel located in a residential neighborhood and right next door to Lidl. Our room is equipped with a small kitchen that able us to have breakfast, before we start our day sightseeings. The hotel is where an old church used to be, but with additional additions to it. The hallway are lined with marbles that is way more than I expected. The staff are wonderful and make your stay a pleasured one. There is also an Atrium that served breakfast and in the future, it will become a full restaurant. The walk to center city is only 40 minutes, with beautiful canals, shops and unique homes to see. The price is reasonable, we had a two twin beds and the room is spacious for European standard and air conditioning. Even though we don't needed for our stays, but it is available if needed.

Average hotel - service is hit & miss, some staff are very polite but the hotel didn't give me a wake up call at my requested time.

Pleasantly surprised!

On arrival it looks a bit random being in the middle of a residential area and doesn’t scream \"hotel vibes\" from the outside but was pleasantly surprised once inside.

The reception area is a decent size, nice and bright with the reception staff very welcoming.

We were shown to where our room was (triple room - double bed and single bed).....these were soooo comfy, pillows especially. I had read reviews about the bedsheets not fitting the bed, which is true but its really not a thing that would put you off....the sheets are pristine clean so its not a worry! The bathroom was lovely although not a fully locking door and just frosted glass so unless you were comfortable with people walking in on you (either on ourpose or by mistake haha) then decide on an unwritten rule that if the doors closed, its occupied 😀. There are shampoo and body wash pumps in the shower, hairdryer in the drawer under the sink so pretty much all you need!

We had breakfast included in our stay and the room where its served is so lovely decorated (it seems a new part built on) and while you're only looking out onto the street, its still a lovely room to sit in while starting your day. The breakfast is well stocked from hot breakfast to pastries/breads/cheeses/yoghurt, fruit juices and hot drinks machine.

The location is decent (less than a 10 minute walk to Amstelstation - 5 stops from Central Station) so its easy to get around and quiet so youre guaranteed a good nights sleep.

Me hospedei no Chassé com meu marido e gostamos muito do quarto pois possui uma pequena cozinha funcional, o que permitiu tomar café da manhã todos os dias no quarto. As instalações do hotel são boas, apenas sugeriria ter opção de travesseiros menores.

A localização é boa, próxima ao centro de bicicleta e com opções de tram e trem! Além disso a região tem vários restaurantes, mercado e lojas. Não é uma região super turística o que permite ver a vida mais local!

I liked my stay at the Chasse Hotel Residency. The staff was great. Everyone was really nice and tried their best to make the guests feel welcome. The breakfast room was great. Breakfast was very good as well though it lacked a variety of vegan options. But I didn't ask for any. The hotel room was completely fine. I liked that there was a grocery shopping opportunity near the hotel. I'd recommend it.
