The safe was not working in the first room. Chair was broken and electronic shower was not working. However the room was excellent. The manager moved me to a studio room but the AC was making noise, bose speaker was not working. But maintenance did replace it. outside light not working and some bulbs needed replacing. Overall I wasted at least 6 hours sorting things out over the 3 days I stayed there. I do like the hotel but rooms are not checked properly before guests moved in.

The hotel was extremely convenient for me who was going to a concert in Ziggo dome, that was the reason why I booked there. Easy to get to and from city center with train, and small walking distance from the train station. The staff was welcoming, the rooms was excellent and clean. I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to a concert, football game and want to be slightly away from the city.

The room was freezing.. i got an electric heater that didn’t work, then it was changed but such a small heater didn’t heat the whole room and the toilet area was very cold… i had 4 nights in the hotel.. so was happy to leave.. the staff and hotel in the summer might be amazing.. but in winter never again..

Absolutely amazing ! The two guys who were on shift last night were sooooo great to me! They held the best service ever. I was mainly in contact with them! And honestly it exceeded my expectations! We arrived early and so we checked in via the reception desk and were told that when we came back at 1500 hrs we could use the online check in. Tried to check in on the online check in when we arrived back at the hotel only to find it wouldn’t work and the staff member hadn’t bothered to complete our check in.
Staff would rather chat between themselves for a couple of minutes than greet you when standing at the desk waiting to be served.

Arrived in our room and found we had no body soap in the shower and the touch button to activate the waterfall stream in the shower didn’t work.

Other than that, it was a great stay, it’s in a nice area next to Ajax stadium and is between 2 stations, one being a train and metro station and the other a metro station so convenient transport links.

Only other thing we didn’t like was the price of breakfast, €22.50 per person is shocking. Especially if you’re staying for 3 days and if there two of you. €135 just for breakfast is criminal and just pure greed on the hotels behalf. Plus, the hotel charges €24.50 for its burger of the week, just keep your money and go find a nice restaurant where you can get a nice sit in meal for probably the same price or less.

They don’t have parking really just a couple spots in front of the hotel. The parking lot isn’t control by the hotel and kind of expensive. Overall I would go ahead because of how nice the staff is and the amenities

Room walls and blinds a bit run down but shower was great and had a good sleep. Restaurant was slow (busy) but very good. Not sure if area is safe at night towards metro station but I’d stay again at this hotel for an event.

Stayed for a few nights and generally a very good hotel. Staff were all great and the rooms good.

It’s also very close to the metro station to get into central Amsterdam.

Only negative would be the hotel bar prices, a small, 250ml, bottle of Diet Coke and a fresh orange and lemonade was 14 Euro 50, a bit extreme.

Hotel amenities misleading

We were so looking forward to our stay, but there were some key reasons we chose this hotel over others and were left disappointed. We knew it was going to be very hot while we were in Amsterdam so we made sure to select a hotel with air conditioning. Unfortunately it didn’t work the entire time we were there. Our room at one point was 26 degrees Celsius. We were able to switch rooms but still had the same problem and then in our new room we couldn’t change the shower temperature and the tablet for the tv didnt work either. The staff offered a fan, but then nothing came. My husband checked with them again and they said all the fans had already been given out to other guests. We were also expecting there to be laundry facilities onsite as per the list of amenities and that was false. They work with a laundry service that picks up your laundry and then brings it back. The timing of that wouldn’t work for us. Overall we were left disappointed. The staff were the only good thing about our stay

It was ight, nice place, far (23$ uber) from where you going if you are a tourist and back, nice place tho, next to a nice soccer arena which is nice if you play soccer, staff was weird and socially awkward but hey that’s Europe. Nice place tho, wish it had a hot tub. My favorite part of the hotel was the protein shake vending machine in the fitness room, that saved my mornings (I lift, do you?)

Super helpful and friendly staff. Was nice to be able to drop my luggage off before check-in and leave it after checkout until it was time to go to the airport. Had an issue with the electricity in my room and had to be moved, but was upgraded to larger suite. Couldn't figure out how to open the balcony door for the life of me. Price is definitely because of the location; it's not as polished as I expected it to be. Worth it tho, because it's connected to Ziggo Dome and it was nice being able to head right to my room after the show was over without worrying about cabs or whatever. I added breakfast on one day and it was OK; I think my amerikan expectations were the problem because for that price in the US it's usually a hot buffet with omelet and waffle stations and such. This was mostly cold foods, but there was a self-serve pancake and waffle making station, fresh squeezed juices, and the pastries were super fresh and yummy.

This place was surprisingly comfortable. It’s there for the venues it serves and appears fairly minimalist. However, the room was comfortable and, while crowded, the bar was atmospheric.
Breakfast is a little disappointing but adequate.
My only real complaint is that when ordering in the bar you seem to wait a lot longer if you use the online system - far better to shoulder your way to the bar which seems rather perverse. We did eventually catch one of the servers and finally got our order long after those who’d arrived after us and gone straight to the bar.

I was attending a concert at the Ziggo Dome and Jaz in the City Amsterdam is right next door, so very convenient. The restaurant is small, but the food is tasty and nicely priced. The front staff was friendly and rewarded a well timed joke with a free beer card! Room was excellent…clean, lovely shower, and nice coffee. 7 minute walk to a metro station that is only 15 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. Excellent price too.

Really nice music themed venue. Rooms were as you'd expect from this kind of hotel, good size, clean, comfy bed. Only bad point was that there wasn't a mirror near a good amount of lighting. One on the door but not much light and the bathroom ones were ok but the lighting was too dim. Otherwise great location with short walk to the station & lots of food places & shops nearby & of course two big music venues & the football stadium next door. Staff were super helpful & very polite.

We loved staying here! Clean and comfy rooms with a great view of Ajax stadium and the music stadium next door. Location for us was great, as it was walking distance to the station. Quick and direct train to get to airport and the same to get to Centraal station. Took about 25 mins to get there but it was easy. Nice safe area and great vibe on match and concert days. This is a great place to stay especially if you are going to a concert at AFAS arena - really spot on hotel - good breakfast - not far from train station - breakfast really good - not many places to eat around here but we walked 15min to Oma Letje which is a fantastic place for food and beer

Exceptionally friendly staff. Clean hotel, room, gym... Food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. Nice gym with sauna. Close to public transport.

Cons:
Shower door seal didn't meet the floor so water leaked out and I had to use a towel to sop up the water. One of the treadmills wasn't working so I had people waiting on me to finish my cardio which made me feel a bit rushed.

Really I need to stretch my imagination to try to find negatives but, I don't give out a perfect score easily. I enjoyed my stay and would certain go back if I have a reason to be in the area.

I stayed for 4 nights.

When I arrived the room had a horrible smell that lingered the entire stay, not to mention the fridge wasn’t working for 2 nights and you have to request room cleaning the night before; it’s not done daily without your request.

The location is amazing and that’s really what you’re paying for

I love the location of this hotel. The staff was professional and friendly.
The place was clean and comfortable. There are a few hotels in Europe with very small rooms, but not this one. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would stay there again.
