The 2 Bedroom private villa with private pool was the best way to end our trip!! The staff were amazing and attentive and the rooms were huge with two private pools. The Haven staff also helped facilitate decorating the room for a 30th birthday to make the day extra special!

The location was great and within walking distance of great shopping and the Bintang supermarket a 2min walk away!

When I arrived at the Haven, I had just spent a peaceful week in Ubud, so this was a return to busy streets. On arrival the staff let me choose a suitable room
I had to have a drink waiting for the room to be prepared
The breakfast was just amazing. There was a large selection and varied breakfast items to choose from
I found the bar off treated me differently because I was travelling on my own. Some would be very courteous and give me the pre-crisp snacks that came with your drink. Others wouldn’t give me anything.
The afternoon stuff at the bar were very helpful and filled my water bottle so I could use it by the pool
I decided to walk down to the quiet pool rather than the one in the reception area as that seemed quieter and had more chance of catching the Sun between 8 am and 3 pm
After 3 pm, there was nowhere to sit to get any sunshine
And being British, we like our sunshine lol
The room was clean and comfortable, balcony could of been moped, dirty
Had to get maintenance in to fix a tap
If you don’t like any light on at night, then please ask reception to have your balcony light turned off by maintenance as there is no switch in the room to do this
The TV had lots of apps for Netflix prime etc but not one of them worked. They are not available. It may be a smart TV on the wall but there was nothing to watch really in English apart from the news.
So if you’d like to watch anything in the evening, take something with you

The negatives that would stop me booking again.
- They dont put the pool seat cusions on unless asked, i asked once and got told no as they shut soon (1.5 hours until the pool area closed)
- To get a drink in the pool area you have to go to the bar, they very rarely come round and ask. Its not a huge deal but every hotel ive stayed at in Bali they have come over to take your order and bring the drink over.
- The room cleaning is pretty average. We had sand on our floor pretty much the whole time. They dont automatically top up shampoo etc in the bathroom.
- There was a big gap in the door when closed which meant bugs come in and was super noisy at night. The curtains also let light in either side.

Overal its not a bad hotel and for the price its great but wouldnt return.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing due to several serious issues.
•We encountered large geckos multiple times inside the room and also near the room entrance, which was extremely unsettling and made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay.
•Breakfast was very poor. There were insects and cockroaches around the food, and flies were sitting directly on the fruit, which raised major hygiene concerns.
•The restaurant had no air conditioning at all, making breakfast very uncomfortable due to the heat.
•Room cleaning was not done properly unless we requested it several times.
•The premium rooms had a strong damp and sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which was very unpleasant.
•During rain, water leaked into the room through the gaps under the door.
•When it was windy, the balcony doors and windows shook violently and felt very loose, making it difficult to sleep.

Overall, this hotel failed to meet basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance. We would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Our experience at Haven was very disappointing. The first room was not the room that we had booked and a bad smell and was also also construction on the level which wasn’t advertised. The second room was worse — visible mould, damp air from the AC, wet sheets, a broken balcony door, a dirty bathroom and flies in the room.

I was told three times that no refund would be given, and instead the staff kept trying to move us into different rooms, even though I made it clear we just wanted to leave. There was also miscommunication — two different people both claimed to be the manager, with one making a completely false statement about us “having a car on the way.”

It took three separate attempts before a refund was finally approved. To make matters worse, the hotel later recorded the reason as “inconvenience,” which is simply untrue. We did not leave because of inconvenience — we left because the rooms were unsafe and not as advertised.

We had 2 connecting rooms and it was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The pools were amazing the included breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel. Plenty of options for our kids who are picky eaters. The staff were super friendly and Hendra and Bagus were very helpful. No issues with noise like others have mentioned. We did hear frogs and birds.

Great location, just 5 min walk to the beach.. Road at the front of hotel is very busy, but we loved seeing the bustling street life.. everything at our doorstep. Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful property, with clean rooms and beautiful pools . The staff always went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We will defiantly be back. The only little issue was at night it could be noisy from the music playing around the area. But its not a big deal just mentioning it so you can be prepared. 4.9 stars!

Rooms were clearly outdated and bathrooms had a dusty mould smell. Lots of ants and mozzies in the rooms and aircon was extremely annoying and loud. Aswell as the restaurant down at the lobby playing loud music all night making it hard to sleep. Although the place was priced quite cheap and was fairly priced in my opinion .Pool needs more sunbeds!!!!

My room was very cold first 2 nights even with air-con turned off, would have liked a blanket, thankfully the air-con was fixed. Breakfast looked good but limited choice for myself. Cereal poor only plain Cornflakes and cholcolate flakes no healthy one with Bran, fruit, nut. Lots of cakes but noticed only 1 GF bread for those who need GF food. Saying that staff wonderful.

We had a deluxe pool view booked. Room was nice but there was no view of pool so I asked if we could move - it was no problem the next day. We then asked for quieter as there was lots of nightclub sound! Again no problem and we were upgraded for a very reasonable price to a quiet, spacious and very comfortable 2 room suite. Such good service and lovely staff. Very good value especially with breakfast included. We liked the beach club option too.

Excellent two bed suite. Comfortable, clean and perfect place to relax in after exploring or relaxing by the pool. The staff were all exceptionally polite and welcoming- a real family feeling staying here even though it was a hotel. The manager introduced himself and made us feel valued and welcome as did all staff. Special shout out to reception team and Aditia whose eggs and waffles at breakfast, as well as welcoming, professional attitude was an asset to the hotel. Also, thanks to De whose taxi services we used to Ubud and our transfer.
If we return to Bali we will return to this gem in Seminyak and the suites they offer. Bliss.

My recommendation is to the owner(s) is to upgrade out all the towels, the robes and the sheets. Invest in some new and updated ones. You need for them to be white white and softer to touch.

I stayed at The Haven for 2 weeks in May. The team (Surya, Stefany, Jeffri - only some of the amazing staff) were always welcoming and helpful. Staff always greeted with a smile. I had spent 4 hours looking for accommodation prior to going to Bali - and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my choice. I initially had only 2 nights booked - but ended up staying for around 12 nights in total. So convenient to everything - quick walk to beach - supermarket just down the road - ATM across the street. Great pools and atmosphere and a lovely breakfast every morning - thank you to the Team at The Haven for making my first solo trip feel safe and comfortable.

We had booked a pool view room starting Saturday but, due to flight issues, we could only arrive on Sunday. Upon arrival, we were informed that our room was not ready. After some waiting, we were given a room and told it was an upgrade. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected.

The room appeared unprepared and unwelcoming—there was even a welcome note addressed to someone else, and amenities were incomplete. The bathtub had drainage issues, the door to the balcony wouldn’t close properly, and the towels were extremely worn out.

For a first-time visit to Bali, this was a very disappointing start. The service and room standards did not meet the expectations set by the booking or the hotel’s reputation.

Water leaked from our air con on the floor making it very slippery. The humidity also added to everything being damp and floor (concrete) damp over the entire room. The only way to combat it was to have the door open when we were in the room.

Perfect locations, we stayed in a one bedroom villas and it was clean, spacious and had everything you required. Pool was fantastic and hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants and also clise proximity to beach. Most staff we encounted like Alit and Dayu at the spa were very friendly and had great customer service.
Breakfast we felt was a hit and miss and could be better.

I want to stay that the staff were lovely and the location was good. However despite the fact we were upgraded to their most prestigious room with no prompt to do so. We did unfortunately find the room to be a bit on the dirty side of things and the room resort itself looks like it could do with a little bit of maintenance and repair to a lot of areas. These are not great concerns but when paying Seminyak prices for accommodation and drinks/food I would have liked to have seen these things a bit more tended too. Over all it is a nice place to stay with good proximity to beaches bars ect and lovely hospitable staff, just caught a bit shy of the extra stars.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 4 nights. The rooms were huge and very well kept. We had our own small pools, which we hardly used, as there were 2 beautiful, huge pools in The Haven's hotel compound.
The buffet breakfast was of a good selection, and powered us for the day.
My only 2 grouses were that the rooms were a little dark at night, and can do with more lighting, and that the main locks to the gate of the villas can be a little tricky to turn.

The front counter staff are wonderful. Special shout out to front Guest Service Manager, Mr I Ketut Adhi, who went the extra mile to make our stay a comfortable, and wonderful one.
