Nope don’t do it.

This place needs major upkeep. The room was disgusting. We supposed to stay two nights. No way, we left the next day and booked another hotel. I lost my money in the night we didn’t stay, but it was worth it. Also had a major ant problem. Wife couldn’t sleep as she said she kept feeling thing crawl on her.

My room was spacious but was the farthest.. I dont really mind about it.. But my access card was malfunction 3x..n each time i need to go back n forth just to fix it.. The pool wasnt that clean n also sandy.. The corridor felt damp..the overall area was not well maintained..
Almost same breakfast for the 3 days of staying..food were just average..
It was expensive comparing to what i expected.. Not worth my money..

Hotel was a bit away from the main road. No shops nearby the hotel. Saw the staffs having breakfast and lunch at the restaurant. The staffs did not top up food that was almost finished when I went for my buffet lunch. The food was average. Whenever I ordered American breakfast they always give me scrambled eggs even when I told the staff I don't want. The room service staff always puts down the phone fast even before my conversation. My room was not swept properly. The room was big and spacious. The view was good.

Nomadic experience in De Rhu Beach Resort

Some of the facilities are not well maintained, especially the toilets, showers, and sinks. Our first night there, we had to go through toilet and shower problems, and the pipe even broke after the staff tried to fix it. And we had to change to another. Fortunately, the new room was better, except the sink is leaking a little bit.
But the response from the staffs is very good, although the issue happened at 3-4am.

We love this place

Definitely going to come back for multiple stays in the foreseeable future. Perfect location (On the beach, 20 minutes to the city, 30 minutes to Cherating), unbeatable pricing (For huge space and large single beds in the room), Friendly staff (And great service every day), and last but not least - rarely you can find several gigantic pools under one roof (Lagoon-type for kids and super-huge 5ft pool for the adults). We're thankful we were here for 4 nights.

The stay was good. We chose de rhu as for its pool. The pool is big and spacy. Even it was public holiday and many visitors came..my children still can enjoy swimming and playing in the pool. The food served during breakfast also very tasty.

Nice pool, beautiful view

It was a short and sweet vacay, we decided to just drive out from the city and find a place where we can enjoy our time. Mom is on wheelchair but there was no issue. My little one enjoys his first swim and daddy already plan for a come back next year!

Pros and cons

A very long walking to my room from the lobby as it is the farthest one. Besides, there was a sound of water droplets outside my room, which i believes from the air conditioner and the floor quite cold as there were no carpet at all. Last but not least, the hotel staff very nice.
