Their entrance system after hours is completely bogus. You have to ring a bell after hours and so when I arrived at 2am, rang the bell, and no ring, no staff, had to wait in the cold for 20+ mins. Why can’t they be a normal hotel and have card entrance available?

The actual room I had at this location was nowhere near what the photos made it out to look like. My stay at this location started out rocky when I checked in and found out that the room I had just moved my luggage into hadn't been cleaned yet after the previous visitor. The cleaning staff member who came to tidy up was irritated that I was in the unit before it was cleaned, then I had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes until she was done. The room and the building are somewhat rundown, but if you need a quick place to stay for a night or two, it would work. Besides the one cleaning staff member I interacted with, the rest of the employees were courteous/nice, and the location is close to all kinds of restaurants and a mall.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived for check-in after an 6.5 hour drive, staff wasn’t friendly, stairway access only to second floor rooms, updated room but the rest of the hotel feels rundown, loud guests in hallway throughout the night resulting in poor sleep.

Staff was very nice. Hard beds but very clean. Dated bathroom and more. Crappy breakfast with questionable meat sausages and water downed juices on our second morning. Smelled like cannabis late nigh Saturday feb 14th upon arrival from concert.

Should invest in frosted patio door or some sort of window block for the people living on ground floor. Looks like homeless/poor people homes with lots of disturbing scenes.

Light swith was caked with dirt and on and on. They moved us to a renovated room where the matress was harder than the floor and the bathroom was dirty with hair on the floor and bathtub. We had booked for 2 nights and left after the 1st. Been here many times but will never again.

When we arrived, our room was missing a tv remote. In looking around the room for it, we noticed items under the bed so the room clearly had not been full cleaned. The washroom wasn’t overly clean either. We were only in the room to sleep so did the trick but wouldn’t return.

Only one entrance out of 5. Room was at the far end of building. Came and clean sidewalks after 11pm at night!! No sofa in 1 bd when the room could accommodate one on either side. Couldn’t regulate the temp! Either no heat or too much. Room was redone and comfortable bed.

I’ve been a loyal Comfort Inn guest for many years and have always had great experiences at other locations, particularly in North Bay and St. Thomas. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the London location did not meet the same standard.

The room appeared quite rundown and not as clean as I’ve come to expect from this chain. There was visible dirt and grime on the light switches and lamps, and the shower was not in the best condition — I even found someone else’s hair. The toilet also did not appear very clean. I’ve attached a photo for reference.

The complimentary coffee station was disappointing as well — the area looked dirty, and the machine was out of order. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable; the mattress was very thin, and I could feel the springs poking through.

One of the main reasons I choose Comfort Inn is because of the breakfast, which I’ve always enjoyed in the past. However, this time I was let down. Breakfast was advertised from 6–9 a.m., but when I arrived around 8:10, the waffle mix had already been taken away, the coffee was empty, and there was only one sausage patty left. Staff were extremely kind and upgraded us to the newly renovated rooms upon inquiry. They have plenty of amenities and are willing to provide extra. The breakfast was a simple yet nourishing one and extremely appreciated. The rooms are clean. There is a faint smell of smoke here and there and the ac was not working in our room but it wasnt that bad. Overall would come again! The staffs kindness made it much more enjoyable.

Okay, for the price in comparison with other accommodations in the area. Friendly front-desk staff but nobody was available to help us figure out how to work the television in our room. No instructions provided. (We’d planned to catch an hour of the first Blue Jays – Yankees post-season game before an appointment but had to go elsewhere to watch.) When checking in, we had to pay an extra “refundable” $100 fee on top of the rate. Four days later, still waiting for this to be removed from our credit card.
