Only stayed 1 night but it was good. Checking in took some time because of a slow moving line but besides that no complaints. Breakfast was included with our stay and we were very impressed with what was provided for a hot breakfast. It was really good to have fresh made hot food.

This hotel doesn't seem to have the same standards as other homewood suites.

Crumbs on the pull out when we arrived
No shampoo.
2 bath towels and a small towel for 5 people
The shower head fixture wasn't properly fixed to the wall.
Took 6 hours to get more towels. Then shortly after, staff knocked on the door at 9pm with towels for the room down the hall. I imagine 2 is fine for standard rooms but suites that sleep 6 probably need more than that.

Kitchen supplies did not include enough place settings
The pot holder was crunchy and stained.
Towels were rarely available at the pool- they only filled a handful at a time
The pool was ice cold until it started pumping warm water for the weekend
Mold in the mens room near the pool
Staff dressed ultra casual- including obscene gestures.
Check in was smooth and staff were friendly.
Breakfast was fine.

She should take some customer services skill classes or do something else, When you work at the front desk of any bussiness you have to be nice, smile to the customers and make us feel welcomed. Shower didn't work properly and no fan in bathroom, horrible fish smell on entire floor, lights in bedroom was only one small sconce on the other end of the room. Pull out bed was horrible to sleep on, but regular beds were good. Kitchen was minimally stocked,only 1 pot and one pan. And enough bowls, glasses and utensils for 4 people even though the room sleeps 6.

Would not stay here again. The parking lot was not plowed when we arrived, multiple cars were getting stuck.
There is limited parking so we parked at the back of the building. The door is supposed to be locked and you can only enter with key access, but it was open about 5 inches, it doesn’t close. Not a secure building at all.
When we got to our room there was toothpaste in the sink & hair on the bottom and sides of the shower; which we cleaned ourselves as our kids were ready for bed.
The TV didn’t work. When we asked the front desk about it we were told it was a “power outage”. But everywhere in London had power, including all electrical in the hotel.

On check out we were asked how our stay was. We said not great and named the above reasons; there was no apology from the staff. All we were told was the TV would be fixed later today (as we’re checking out lol) and to have a good day.

The hotel is ascetically pleasing & good location, but service is very poor.

We were upset because we asked for two suites together they put us on floor 4 and floor 6. I complained because we had children in each room when I booked I asked to be together not two different floors. They did finally put us in 419 and 519. Hard to have a family mini holiday on separate floors.

Disappointing for a Hilton property.
Check in is 3:00. We arrived at 5 and were told our room wasn't ready. The hotel didn't seem that busy. So we had to wait in the lobby with a bored and tired 5 year old and wait for our room.
The room was decent but 2 towels for a room that sleep 4? The pool was ridiculously hot. More like a steam bath. So hot that it made it very difficult to breathe in thats area. Also, there was a constant shortage of towels and used towels remained on the pool deck since there was no hamper for them.
I am doubtful to stay at this property again.

We had a room in the back corner…
a) 2 rooms along the way had their door held open by some chairs, vacant.
b) A cord ran across the hall from the maintenance room (I think).
c) The ductwork in our room was so close to the wall that just leaning against the wall made a squeaking noise from the ductwork behind the wall.
d) I booked the room for 4 people, only had 2 towels in the bathroom
e) The pool had TONS of hairballs in it

I booked a King Suite with a soaker tub for a one-night stay, expecting a high-quality experience given the premium room type.

Unfortunately, the level of cleanliness was unacceptable. Upon check-in, I found the refrigerator filled with old food, milk, eggs, sandwiches, and mildew. It was clear the room had not been properly inspected or cleaned.
It took four phone calls before the front desk finally answered.

While a housekeeper was eventually sent up to clean the fridge, it was so packed with the previous guest's waste that it took her two trips just to remove everything.

The service recovery was equally disappointing. I was initially promised a 50% discount for the significant inconvenience, only for the hotel to call back and lower it to 15%. For a high-end reservation, the lack of attention to detail and the inconsistent communication left a very sour taste.

The headboard, the frame of the bed needs to be tightened, it was making a lot of noise.

I would like to also add, due to the weather the the parking lot should have been salted. it was so slippery and icy.

This property proudly advertises “free parking” as an amenity, yet when my car was broken into overnight with my window shattered, I was told the hotel has zero responsibility because the lot is “public” despite it being on-site. No support, no assistance, not even basic compassion from staff.

I had to deal with a shattered window, a stolen bag containing my EpiPen and inhaler, and then drive two and a half hours back to Toronto in 5°C weather with an open window. All after paying for a night at Homewood Suites in London, Ontario — a hotel that seems eager to list amenities, but completely unwilling to stand by guests when something actually goes wrong on their property.

The lack of accountability and basic customer care is astonishing and frankly unacceptable. Guests deserve better than empty promises and shrugged shoulders when their safety and belongings are compromised. I would NOT recommend anyone stay here for safety concerns.

The room was clean and the location was quiet.
I requested an electric kettle on my second day and was told via text that one would be brought up to my room. I never received the kettle and I had to boil water each day in a pot which was a little inconvenient. Otherwise the staff was pleasant and my stay was ok.

Staff were friendly. We stayed two nights and we had requested a crib. We checked in late the first night and inquired about the crib and we were told it was good to go. Got to our room and there was nothing. Staff corrected it very quickly though. We also didn’t get a top up of our complimentary coffee on the following day. All in all, a nice and well kept hotel. No major complaints at all. All staff were very friendly

The staff was nice and design of the place was good.
The room had water damage everywhere. Probably mold behind the walls with damaged fixtures everywhere in the bathroom. The pool is freezing cold. Explains why no one is in it.
First aid kits are empty. If you cut yourself at the pool. You have to go to front desk and hope the staff can find a bandaid.
The room is noisy. Can hear the ventilation in the bulk heads.

I would not go back there unless they renovated there rooms.

Nice breakfast included with the room. Hot and cold choices. Healthy selections as well. Overall a very nice stay.

My first issue was the check in. My wife and I attempted to check in early and no rooms were available. Fair enough. I was busy for the day and when my wife returned she was denied check in because the room was booked in my name so there we security concerns. Remember we were there together earlier.

After a phone conversation, interrupting my planned event, they made an EXCEPTION, really, and let my wife check in.

The room is basic but good for the price. However the sink was plugged and the water built up in the basin and the TV is on a side wall at a 90 degree angle from the couch. Hard to watch.

When I got back to the room later in the evening and went up to the room, someone had thrown plates and bowls of food in the hallway. In the morning the plates and bowls had been removed but food scraps were not cleaned up nor vacuumed and still had to be stepped over.

I trust our experiences were isolated incidents.
