As soon as you land you are in paradise. They don’t call this place heaven on earth for no reason. Absolutely breathtaking!
The people, staff, and personnel go above and beyond so you can have a magical vacation. The rooms are beautiful, the food is delicious, there is not one thing we disliked. Thank you Le Bora Bora for an unforgettable vacation.

Le Bora Bora is paradise. Every detail is cared for under the attentive eye of the director, Franc, who is always present. The grounds are immaculate—no stray leaf, perfectly raked sand, and a maintenance team that deserves awards.

The food is incredible. Every meal is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, from warm breakfast breads and omelettes to the tuna steak buffet with endless sides—poke, cheeses, yogurts, jams, desserts, and yes, fresh avocado with every meal.

The staff is genuinely friendly, always greeting you with a smile and ready to help. Facilities are spotless, with bathrooms and water stations everywhere, offering cold water and fresh juices. Check‑in felt luxurious with scented towels, juice, and a warm welcome.

The scenery is breathtaking—not only the crystal lagoons full of fish, but the lush, terraced gardens throughout the resort. Even garden‑view cabanas feel serene and picturesque, with countless peaceful spots to relax.

The coral beneath the bungalows was a highlight, attracting triggerfish, needlefish, puffers, parrotfish, stingrays, and our favorite, the colorful Picasso triggerfish.

All the staff were wonderful, but special thanks to:
Hannaei at breakfast for her sweetness and attention;
Lokeni at the pool bar for keeping the energy up; Viana and the concierge/boat team for seamless coordination; Daisy and Desiree at Minki Minki for being a great duo; and Taroararii, who never stops moving and helping.

An absolute jewel! Our family has traveled all over the world in Bora Bora is one of our absolute favorites. We’ve stayed at other hotels in Bora Bora and Le Bora Bora tops them all! Their beach is wonderful for kids and adults alike and is very large compared to other properties. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate and stunning! All the staff, especially the beach guys are so nice! The beach bungalows are very large and private, and they have many food options at a reasonable price. Compared to the Thalasso we prefer Le Bora Bora, hands-down!

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 older kids) for the Christmas week. Pros-
This is a beautiful place to be and to stay. Bora Bora is a magical location. The people and staff at the Pearl were joyful and helpful. The villas were located upon the water and fish and sharks and all kinds of beautiful fish were visible through the floor glass. We could swim right outside the door. cons- The food was not good. Warning about the mandatory Christmas dinner. This cost 1200$ for family and food was cold, poorly presented and did not taste good. Resort was not decorated for holiday as described. No drinks included for this cost. There are 4 restaurants and there are no off site options that are nearby. The food is very expensive and options are minimal and not tasty. We did have a good week (despite rain daily) and truly beautiful but this resort needs to rethink their menus and food options.

The Room was clean and spacious. The Staff however is another story. They were inattentive and sort of indifferent to our needs. Room service was inept . Our utensils from the night before were not picked up for over 24 hours. Unfortunately this was a general trend at the Hotel. We also had the misfortune of witnessing a theft complaint by a couple ( allegedly their money was stolen from the room). I would not recommend this resort as a memorable destination. Bora Bora is a beautiful place in itself. The Polynesian dance was a lot of fun.

We spent 6 days here for our honeymoon and it was an unbelievable, romantic, relaxing experience. Our overwater bungalows were extremely well maintained and clean. There are filtered water stations close to every bungalow - very well thought out in my opinion.

The rest of the resort on land was extremely quiet, walkable, clean and beautiful. The food options minus 1 restaurant were very good.

The spa and walking trail/garden were a couple things I didn't expect that turned out to be beautiful.

I would highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to go back.

Stunning location and the marine life were exceptional, several aspects of our experience fell significantly short of expectations, particularly when compared to other high-end resorts.
Upon arrival, despite having booked a package including flights for three adults and a twelve-year-old child, we were told that our party could not be accommodated in one over the water bungalow. We without any grievance immediately gave them a credit card to book another OTW bungalow.
Our dining experience at Otemanu restaurant was disappointing. The service was inattentive and unprofessional; we repeatedly had to flag down servers. Our food was poorly prepared – for instance, a requested well-done steak arrived undercooked and all of the food lacked seasoning. Locating our servers was difficult and the lack of attentive service fell far short of our expectations of a fine dining establishment. On a separate occasion, my husband's request for a children's pizza was initially denied due to a seemingly inaccurate record of our party size, only being resolved after considerable wait time and significant unprofessionalism from the staff. While the General Manager subsequently apologized and generously covered the cost of our second dinner and drinks. It was not enough. The most serious and egregious was 100,000 XPF was stolen from my wallet and my CC info was also stolen as a $6,ooo dollar charge was attempted on my AmEx. I cannot recommend this resort, unfortunately.

Perfect place for a wedding anniversary with spouse and two teens. We could stay in the overwater bungalow - guests needed to be 12+ (keeping it quiet in the area). Most bungalows allowed 2-3 guests but there are maybe 2-3 bungalows that allow 4 guests. This worked out perfectly for us, and we absolutely loved it. We met several honeymooners, and I think they all loved their stay too. This was the absolutely perfect place for us. It's important to know that you must take a ferry to leave the property - it's isolated.

We had a great experience overall at Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts! Everyone from the concierge, to the front desk and maintenance personnel were friendly and inviting. The rooms were clean and the service impeccable. The over-water bungalow we stayed in was idyllic. The only disappointment was the food; the prices are very high considering the quality. We found the food fairly underwhelming for what we paid. The Polynesian Buffet was approximately $240 US, and none of it was remarkable. We had a much better food experience with Moana Adventure Tours which offered an authentic Polynesian lunch on their snorkeling tour.

Truly a magical stay. Room is large and everything super comfortable and well laid out. We were lucky to have a Mountain View overwater with private pool and had uninterrupted views. Lots of fish around, even with coral garden being fairly newly established.
Take time to walk through garden at the back of the resort, an area a lot of guests would miss.
Staff were all incredible and helped with dietary requirements at each restaurant, booking tours and answering questions.
All restaurants were great, and included breakfast was extensive with lots of options

The hotel didn't feel overcrowded. I had a great attention by all guests including those from the boutique store and swimming pool. Would recommend dining at the main restaurant. Our stay at Le Bora Bora was nothing short of extraordinary! We chose a beach bungalow with a secluded private pool, and it was truly the perfect choice. The bungalow was spacious, beautifully designed with tropical decor, and felt like our own private oasis. Having direct beach access was an incredible perk—waking up to the sound of the waves and stepping right onto the pristine sand was unforgettable.

While overwater bungalows are iconic, I would highly recommend the beach/land accommodations for a more private and serene experience. The secluded pool and easy access to the beach added a level of relaxation that made our stay even more special. Everything from the lush surroundings to the attentive service made this resort feel like a slice of paradise.

If you’re planning a trip to Bora Bora, Le Bora Bora is the place to be—especially if you’re looking for luxury, tranquility, and a more exclusive beachfront experience. We would return in a heartbeat.

The whole place is immaculate the beach the beach hut the few people that did want to chat were wonderful however the food was not for us is the best way to describe it. The food I saw looked great however didn’t suit us. The breakfast was average but was our only saving grace. Hot food was cold and old, I had to order a fresh omelette and ask for fresh cooked hash browns and fresh cooked bacon daily as the presentation was a let down for hot items and when I did the look of distain was cold. Cold items looked great but we don’t do raw fish or seafood. Eventually we had a great steak on 1 night I have to say.

Go to Liku Liku Resort in Fiji to find out what food perfection is.

If the food was great then Le Bora Bora would have me back very often and the beach alone would probably get me back

Be aware that the small port on the island with some larger ship traffic across from the main rooms and the property faces sunrise vs sunset. Exceptional visit with amazing decor in rooms. Food was good quality and varied. Had a few small room service issues related to order accuracy. Had an incident where an employee tried to double dip for a cash tip on top of the tip left on a room service bill. Generally had more language barrier issues than some lesser priced properties in Tahiti and Moorea. Still would highly recommend due to strength of rooms, location, food quality, and value.

The resort was beautifully situated across the lagoon from Mount Otemanu and the grounds were spectacular. The overwater cabana was very clean, modern, updated and exuded Tahitian style. My wife and I have a wonderful time on our honeymoon and both of us were perfectly content with hanging around the resort and soaking in the views from our cabana for 4 days. We typically are \"go, go, go\" so this was a big change of pace for us, but the paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkeling were nice to have when we got restless.

We stayed 3 nights in an overwater bungalow for our Wedding Anniversary. It was superb. We had a view of the Mountain/seaside not the lagoon. The weather was nice in June a little bit of rain on the first day but it got better and better. Food is nice but you have to eat at this resort there is nowhere else. Three restaurants. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ha. Chef cooked eggs any way you wanted. Fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt all very nice. So when you fly into Bora Bora airport is on its own island and where you walk to get your bags the ferries are right there to take you to your accommodation. Its not a cheap holiday but a special place for a holiday.

Beautiful property with excellent service. Transfers to and from the airport via water taxi were included, which wasn’t made clear from the email confirmation. Very romantic setting for our 30th wedding anniversary! Would definitely recommend

Everything was so wonderful didn’t want to leave. Rooms are fantastic in every way. Clean, comfortable and in perfect condition. The view was to die for. Food was great and staff were lovely. Hope to return. Forgot to tell you the water is so warm
