This is a nice nh hotel in Santander . The parking was convenient . It’s near a very good restaurant called “El Bonito “ which was recommended by our receptionist. The breakfast buffet was average and was not so good compared tot the other nh hotels though the service here is better . Since this is an nh collection and not an nh cuidad .. the amenities are not very good. I didn’t see a gym in the hotel . The lobby was nice but sparse . But what stands out is the service . I had a small statue of Our Lady of the Pilar about 2 inches in size and was broken . The handyman of the hotel fixed it . I forgot to give him a tip . The reception was also good as the receptionist tipped us the best restaurant in the neighborhood ( their albondigas made out of tuna is the best ) . Though this is not the best among the nh hotels that we stayed at, I still highly recommend this hotel due to its location and proximity to the city center , the Centro Botin ( Santander’s version of the Guggenheim) and its proximity to the beaches .

We stayed just one night prior to getting the ferry back to England. We had our dogs with us and the hotel catered very well for them. We didn't have breakfast or dinner in the hotel, but there were plenty of choices for both within a short walk of the hotel.

Dogs not really welcome in NH Hotels
Really no good an over priced hotel in poor condition. Expensive and was supposed be a dog friendly hotel. Well my advice is find somewhere else.
You must sign a form saying dogs can not be left unaccompanied. Dinner plans out the window. Place in need of refurbishing and with parking, breakfast and cost for dogs came for 1 night to 240EUR. At best this is a 2 star hotel old bathrooms old lifts and tight parking. My advice is avoid.

Great staff service making up for problems
First, the service was great and my complements to the staff. However, we were beset with problems. Our room's AC was not working. We were moved to a very small room with a window looking out on the parking lot. Fortunately, it had working AC. We were then moved back to our initial room but they forgot we had been moved and then they thought our room was vacant and gave it to another guest. This was quickly rectified. The location was great. The hotel needs to have an remodeling update. There damage was wear and tear to the room, but nothing severe. Due to a storm, there was no wifi for a couple days.

We were expecting a traditional hotel with the name but got a modern cost focussed hotel where the only freebies were an apple or a juice on arrival. The apple was bruised and the juice was watery though overall the hotel was clean and bright with the staff capable and the location adequate. It was up a hill and the hall lighting shone under the door st night. We also had an excellent view of the car park but nothing else. Luckily we were out a lot and were only there for two nights.

Everything was good. The room we were initially given smelled of tobacco, but they changed it immediately, so no harm done. The room was clean, the Internet works well, the hotel is very well located. The breakfast was 15 euros, which is a little overpriced. Overall I'd still recommend the hotel.

Deben encontrar solucion. Lo segundo: el wifi del piso 1 ni funcionó. Ambos fallos (en especial el focos exteriores / cortinas) no son razonables y deben solucionarlos
