The hotel has a nice lobby and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Outside there were two good size pools and a short walk away are two small but nice beaches. I found the music around the pool a bit too loud and even though there were lots of sun loungers they were quickly taken up. The apartments were well equipped and clean and the food options on the half board were good however you do have to pay for your drinks. Overall a pleasant hotel

Lovely hotel but wasnt happy i had to pay an extra 250 on arrival as my daughter is 13 and classed as an adult but had to still sleep on sofa bed anyway. Food good choice but u wont get a nice full irish.good facilites, entertainment good. Rooms cleaned daily beds made but sheets not changed. You cant take Sunbeds till 10am till lifegaurds come then theres a scramble to get them!

Ideal for children, wide choice of buffet food, however it would have been good if pizzeria and poolside eateries were available to eat in in the evening. We would have been prepared to pay for this and not expected it to be included. It was clearly stated sun loungers were not to be reserved however this was totally ignored by some guests as during our stay regularly at least six beds had towels on from opening time well into after lunch before anyone appeared. Likewise food was not to be taken from restaurant but guests were continually making rolls, taking cakes and fruit to eat for lunches. If rules are made they should be adhered to as it is unfair to those guests, like ourselves, who abide by them.

Lovely hotel in Cap de Salou. Nice clean room, staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great, so much choice to choose from. Pools were clean and great for kids and grownups alike. Onsite pizzeria, shop, launderette were great. All round great location for families.

Nice quiet area, and near to the beach.

Really nice hotel, in a quiet area of Cap Salou. If you are interested in a quiet area, we spent most of the time on the roof terrace with the cold jacuzzi tubs! Close to the beach and close enough to main Salou for restaurants and activities.

The room was very nice, and was kept to a high standard by the staff who were very accommodating. The reception staff were also very helpful!

We only had breakfast included so I can only comment from there, but the food on offer for breakfast was lovely. Massive spread, and all very nice.

All in all I'd recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying there, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed here for 7 nights over half term in May. The hotel was very busy near the pool, there were 4 rows of deck chairs near kids pool which meant there was no space to breath. It was first time ever that we had to wait 30 minutes to get to canteen in the evening to eat. The food selection was very small and taste was bland. Bar closed at 1am meaning if you wanted to carry on your evening you had to take a taxi to Salou about 10minutes away. Kids had fun during the day, but quality of entertainment in the evening was poor and did not engage them enough. Bed sheets got changed only when we went to reception and specifically requested for it to be done. For the price that we paid I would not be taking my family here again as there are much better alternatives.

Decided to spend three nights here after a break in Barcelona (only an hour away). Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff who were very helpfull and gave details about the location and available services within the hotel. The food in the self service restaurant and the pizzeria was excellent with plenty of choice and drinks were reasonably priced along with an onsite supermarket for daily essentials. The entertainment is heavily aimed at children and they seemed to interact well with all children and families. For us without kids it came across as amateur at best and not very engaging. Salou town centre is close by but too far to walk so you will need to rely on the local bus service or have access to a car. Overall really pleased with the stay and service provided by all staff would recommend

After a disappointing stay in Malta earlier this year, I have to say that H10 Mediterranean was excellent. I was extremely happy with the hotel, facilities and food. Great location, loads of small coves and beaches and not too far a walk if you want to venture to the busier beach at Salou.

We were looking for an off season cheap and cheerful relaxing week. The hotel surpassed our expectations. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The staff are all fabulous. It is very much a family hotel. While we went as a couple, it was obvious that the staff and facilities for kids entertainment looked great.

Hotel tailored more for a family with children

It was a family holiday(4 night stay). Reception staff were welcoming on arrival. Pools where good, liked inside pool. A lot of activities for children during the day and evening. Most activities arranged for children. Hotel is a bit outside the town (need transport. not walkable), bus stop outside the hotel. Room was ok, no kettle or tea/coffee facilities in room. Rooms need a bit of decorating updating. Hotel catered for families with children, not really for families without children. Hotel was clean and bright. Bar staff would not charge drinks to the room (always have to pay cash at bar), which I did not understand why, as I always could charge to the room in any other hotel.

First time to Salou and had a fantastic time. Hotel was spot on. Very friendly and helpful staff.Modern, clean and well kept throughout. On a bit of a hill but in a great location to wander along the shoreline past numerous beaches and coves. Great entertainment and plenty for the kids to do while the adults relax and chill out.All the staff from front reception to the cleaners were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use this hotel again as i could not fault it at all.We went half board and both mealtimes (breakfast and evening dinner) were fantastic. Great food,all sorts of tastes and plenty of it !!! The kids will just love the ice cream section !!! and the ADULTS!!! We were all kids at that section !!! Overall a great hotel that will make your holiday be what it is supposed to be, A Holiday !!! You save up all year for a holiday and this hotel will make it that. Nothing worse than arriving at a hotel that is not what you expected but this place was better than i was expecting.

In a very hilly location. Room was large and stunning but the bed was uncomfortable and kept getting scolded with the shower. Always something going on for kids and adults and entertainment staff were amazing. 2 lifeguards at a time on duty at adult pool who were very vigilant but the pool was freezing. I was half board the food was plentiful to say the least but always done in rich sauces and never very warm but again kids well catered for with their own buffet. You got a slip for your drinks and paid for them on the way out. You could get the bus just outside the hotel to Salou for just over 2 euros each way which was lively with loads of shops and bars and was pretty flat if you had a pushchair or wheelchair as it is exstremely hilly and steep around the hotel. There is a handful of bars and shops and lovely wee beach within 5-10 mins of hotel but again a trek back to hotel. Overall an ideal base for families as loads going on and kids well catered but adults only would be best opting for something in Salou itself.

A disappointing hotel

I had my suspicions over this hotel as soon as I had checked in - check in was lengthy and the staff were unfriendly and I unengaging - at a family hotel I expect friendliness and interest in us and the children . The apartment was clean and spacious . The air con was good .
The main draw for us were the water features in the kids pool ( I.e pirate ship / slides ) The pools were over crowded which affected the enjoyment - getting a sunbed where we could see the kids in the pool was virtually impossible. We were there on a half board basis and the good was terrible . We had raw sausages and almost raw bacon at breakfast , naf dinners choices and very poor choice of wine . The entertainment in the evening
Was tired and a bit tragic . All th staff seemed dimoralised and unfriendly . Would not go back . Would not recommend ( very nice beaches near by though !)

We stayed here in our way from Barcelona to Valencia. It is close to Tarragona in another town. The hotel was wonderful and staff very helpful. Buffet breakfast was included and it had many options. I went on May, so I got not the best weather, but the price was very good.

Above xpectations, very good value and quality

Good for family with young kids (toddlers/infant/ up to 10 yrs old?). Closest Beach wasn't great, but 500m away was a good one. Kids facilities are pretty good, we were concerned before we got there but pleased with the amount of stuff to do. Hotels.com didn't send us all the info needed to check in quickly (had to print out email, and even then it wasn't clear if that was out prepaid voucher). Suggest better communication with hotel. Staff was great at hotel, food was well above our expectations. Very clean. It also probably helps if you go to buffet eary. Our visit was in mid May - strongly recommend. Nice & hot, not crazy hot.

Excellent hotel with a great entertainment team

Had a great holiday, our 3 year old had a ball thanks to the entertainment team. It's in a quiet location, just outside Salou, but easily accessible by walking about 40 mins, or bus. Good facilities including shop, gym, jacuzzi. Wifi is a letdown with poor functionality and speed. Hotel has everything you need, and is well kept and clean.
We enjoyed the food as we like to try different things when on holiday. Remember you are in Spain, so don't expect to get what you eat back home (which is the way it should be)
There is very little info on where everything is in the hotel, including a gym on level -1, and a jucuzzi on the roof. Also great views of the area from the roof.
Usual problems with sunbed reserving, but not much the hotel can do about that, I saw some families of 2 adults and 3 children, reserving 5 beds, and only used 1 all day.
Entertainment for children at the mini club was great, and also continued at night, with something different on each night to suit all ages.

Great hotel & staff shame about the clientele!

Lovely well run and well maintained hotel and does exactly as it says on the tin. Great if you have younger kids. Salou itself though its tacky cheap and nasty. Zero culture and poor restaurants and english bars etc. This hotel is probably above average compared to others nearby. Food ok though apart from salads most food is high in fat and fried in some form or other & not authentic at all and simply caters for the chicken nugget loving masses. If you're covered in tattoos and your staple wardrobe is a football shirt and you enjoy lager for breakfast this is the place for you.

Great food, great location, great service. Whilst the rooms over looking the pool were well decorated they were rather noisy due to waterfalls, entertainment and games area. Ask for one looking over the front of the hotel. I'm afraid unless you like a hard mattress you're in for an uncomfortable sleep.

Brill hotel - great for kids

A great hotel, we stayed for a week in may and there was loads to do for kids and adults. the pool was great for our 4 year old with the pirate ship and slides and 2 lifeguards on duty all day. the evening entertainment was funny and the hotel staff made the area really safe by sectioning off the pool area so kids could run around freely.

A bit disapointing

General stay was nice. Staff in bars and restaurant very attentive. Breakfast is amazing in this place huge buffet what ever you want. But there few reasons why i gave 3 out of 5. Firstly costumer service from reception was very poor. Not welcoming, no attention seems like they want to get rid of people asap. Secondly I understand check in time rules 2pm but its very funny when reception says we are half empty but your room will be after 2? I even asked to pay for it but still i had to wait 4 hours for my room. And same story to everyone I seen lots of tired people with same problem. Finally Biggest disappointment was lunch at bar (upper pool) menu was very poor. I ordered pizza. It was still frozen when they served me.. never ever go there..
I would strongly recommend this hotel to families with kids. There lots of things for them plus they have this animation team entertaining kids and adults. Team was always smiling and being helpful.

If you're a couple beware there are too many kids

The hotel is of good standard & in a pleasant location.
The luggage room has absolutely no security which seems ridiculous.
It is very family orientated & there are kids everywhere - some of which need to be controlled more. Consequently meal times can be a little like \"feeding time at the zoo\".
The restaurant had a good selection of food but it was always rather cold (I'm not normally fussy about this!)
If you're a couple & you want total relaxation I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Family resort away from life

This hotel is great for families and people who want cheap champagne for breakfast and don't want to think what to do for a while. There are 2 bars and even a supermarket within the hotel complex. Resort had energetic entertainment team and pirate pool for kids to play in was a hit bordering on serious overcrowding ( and we visited during term time). Beds were oldish and so hard you might as well sleep on the floor, furniture was last updated about 10 years ago. As a couple seeking romantic break, we were largely disappointed and annoyed by non stop crying in the restaurant, screaming all over the place and only place to hide was a small roof terrace which you need reception to give you a card for it has about 20 sun beds and 3 ICE COLD bubble baths. They also had indoor pool downstairs, which you have to purchase swimming caps from reception . Dinner, once again, a hidden cost- drinks are not included , water will cost at least couple of Euros and buffet is like a little battle for popular food. My advice is not to bother with steaks- they were rubber made. Was surprised to witness one of the chiefs having a good old rant at the staff DURING the service. One more thing to be aware off- the city tax is charged on top.. even though my reservation clearly stated all charges and taxes are included we were still charged this little hidden extra for every night. Overall I would not go back unless I have an army of active children to get a holiday for.

We really enjoyed our stay there. We live in Europe and know Air Conditioning is a luxury.....and they had it! That alone was worth it in the summer's heat. The pool was nice and the kids loved it. The customer service was outstanding! They were very helpful. The rooms were cozy...my kids enjoyed the bunk beds and we slept well each night. The balcony was nice with a good view. We had a rental and was able to drive around to nearby beaches and enjoy the local area. The town stayed up late for our late dinners. We did not eat at the hotel because we enjoy going out to see what the town has to offer and for a family of four our meals were about 40-50 euros for dinner. Not too bad from what we are used to. We went to the local store for foods to keep in the room and made breakfast in the room and just picked up something quick for lunch. Overall I would come back again!

Great time at Salou

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and found it comfy.
My only issue was the bedroom cleanness and I did raise this with the staff, it seems the level changes depending on who is cleannining it, which is something they need to look into and ensure it's up to standard. Other than that, the buffet food was super, and impressive actually. the evening entertainment was poor, but we didnt go for that. The location is good, near by there are a couplue of pubs, there is easy access to the bus stop, the tourist train comes every hour and it's a 10 minute walk to the beach.. perfect location. in terms of parking you can park free on the street, we went end of september, so it wasnt busy. I would assume in the summer it would be hard to find parking, hence why the hotel offer the service at a charge. The hotel also offers free wifi near reception and you can get access by renewing your password on daily basis. The swimmings pools for kids was good and there is a room in which the toddlers can play.

Although this hotel is close to the beach, it is a long way from any restaurants or bars. There is a restaurant of sorts opposite the hotel where you can get microwaved food!! The hotel was noisy, the rooms very dated and desperately in need of a coat of paint and tidying up. I did not feel comfortable at this hotel at all.

Very \"family\" option with lots for the kids to do and the food is absolutely fabulous with huge selection buffet breakfast and dinner; the only thing I would warn against is any so-called \"promises\" as regards connecting rooms - they will avoid making a firm promise at all costs and then you might not even get them when you extract such a promise.

We did enjoy our stay at The Mediteranean Village. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was modern and clean. Even though the rooms were clean and tidy I did not think it seemed like a 4 star. The main parts of the hotel like reception and lobby and swimming pool area was at a standard of a 4 star. Overall we did have a good time and would stay there again.

H10 Mediterranean Village, Cap Salou

We stayed in a family apartment room at the H10, Cap Solou for 3 nights and were thoroughly happy with all aspects of the hotel and its facilties.

The room included a kitchenette with electric hob, fridge, kettle and utensils, so was perfect for self-catering. There is a Spar express supermarket about 5 mins walk, which was very convenient.

Our teenage daughters enjoyed the swimming pools, particularly the pool with the two mini slides.
The pools were quite congested, however are both fairly large, so this wasn't an issue for us.

Parking is provided free within the hotel complex or on the surrounding streets, however you may need to hunt around to get a decent parking spot. Private underground parking is provided at a surcharge.

Hotel is ideally situated for the PortaAdventura theme park which is a couple of miles away. We also visited the main town of Salou which was very lively with a carnival atmosphere.

Overall, we were very pleased and would highly recommend this hotel.

Just back having spent a week at the meditterian village. Plenty of entertainment at night but it you want an early night forget about sleep! Stayed in a one bed apt with a pool view with a 10 and 12 year old but in my opinion it was for too small for 4 people. The balcony was bigger than the living area in the apartment ! It was clean and very well equipped . Cap salou itself is quiet with a few shops and restaurants and a nice little beach 2 min walk away. Would recommend this accomodation for two but would be very confined for little ones as they would have very little scope to run around and would be very confined. Over all it was a nice place to stay.

this hotel is located in cap salou which is far nicer than salou. its quieter and is not packed with tourists. buses outside to take you to slaou la pineda water park aqua polis tarragona ( must see) and barcelaona. food was fab rooms good staff lovely. only draw back was possibly the night time entertainment but then you can hop on a bus to salou for a better time. gretat for families with youger kids teenagers not so happy but when are they!! lovely holiday would go back.

Good value for monye

This hotel is in the area of Cap Salou (some 10 minutes from the train station of either Salou or Port Aventura). Bus stop with connections to Tarragona and Salou is in close proximity with regular traffic to both destinations. Property is mainly family oriented and has a number of excellent facilities for kids. Breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices.
Checking in seems to be governed by time and not by room availability. Check-in was at 2pm and when arriving at five minutes to two, room was not available. One minute after two, room miraculously was available. Unsure if this is a hotel policy, however, it does not fully meet customer expectations. Front desk should also learn that a smile and pretending to care go a long way. When asking for a converter plug, we were told to go and buy one. Very little interest in helping out.

Moderne, gepflegte und sichere Hotelanlage mit täglich wechselnder Speiseauswahl. Zimmer war in einwandfreiem Zustand.

Das Personal an der Rezeption spricht gut Englisch, ist sehr freundlich und hat in verschiedenen Situationen weiterhelfen können.
Für An- und Abreisetage steht ein Gepäckraum kostenfrei zur Nutzung zur Verfügung. Für extra Sicherheit verfügt dieser zusätzlich auch über Schließfächer darin (kann jedoch auch ohne diese genutzt werden). Das Hotel verfügt über einen einzigen offenen Eingang mit eigener Zufahrt, der Zutritt zum Hotelareal wird durch Sicherheitspersonal überwacht.
Das Hotel liegt in einer grundsätzlich eher ruhigeren Gegend bei Cap Salou. Der Weg zu einer Badebucht mit wunderbarem Strand ist sehr kurz und landschaftlich sehr reizvoll. Wenige Meter vor dem Tor finden sich Bushaltestellen, Kiosk und Reisebüro.
Das Hotel ist insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. Nachts ist es leider relativ laut im Hotel selber, Schlafen ist während der Shows, die bis 22.30/23.00 gehen können, eher nicht möglich. Danach gibt es leider noch einige Stunden eine hohe Geräuschkulisse durch die Hotelgäste selber (laute Türen, Kinder, etc). Für uns war das akzeptabel, aber sollte man im Vorfeld im Blick haben.
Pools und Sauna waren leider nur kurz offen. Im Indoorpool gilt leider Badekappenpflicht.

Die Klimaanlage hat wunderbar funktioniert. Es gab Kissen in verschiedenen Größen/Dicken. Schade war, dass es nur auf einer Seite neben dem Bett eine Steckdose gab.

Problème d’attente pour l’enregistrement demie heure de queue et une fois dans la chambre pas d’eau chaude. Les techniciens sont rapidement dépêchés sur place mais deux bonnes heures avant que l’eau chaude arrive. Service restauration satisfaisant et grande variété de choix pour tous les goûts. Hôtel correct. Mais on attend mieux d’un 4 étoiles

El hotel esta muy bien para familias con niños, muy buenas piscinas, juegos y sobre todos un equipo de animación excepcional.

Me gusta mucho las fiestas que hacen por las noches para los niños.

Solamente le veo un pontu de mejora. A mediodía no abren el bufet y hay que comer en alguno de los dos restaurantes. En estos restaurantes la comida que sirven es de bastante baja calidad, prácticamente todo es \"congelado de bolsa\" y en general muy pobre.

Les sugiero que hagan una carta mejor o que abrán el bufet a mediodía.

Pas de véritable cuisinier, filet de poisson cuit a la plancha du coté chair, churros mal cuit et cuit dans la friture des frites...
Les jus de fruits c'est de la poudre mélanger à l'eau ou des jus inférieur au premier prix . Il me semble que l'Espagne n'est exportateur de fruits et légumes,c'est pour ça que même le jus d'orange est en poudre
Les lits sont en béton armé...
Sans rentrer dans les détails, cette hotel n'est pas un 4 étoiles, bien inférieur à un novotel, c'est dire. J'ai fait de nombreux hotel, et croyez moi, c'est un pire. Il n'arrive pas à la cheville d'un sofitel, hilton ou autre.

Me gusto el personal , súper amable y eficaces. Zonas comunes amplias y piscinas grandes.
Me gusto menos es que habia un exceso de niños ( ruidoso) y aparcamiento no había ni pagando , aparqué muy lejos la mayoría de días.

Mal para un hotel de 4 estrellas

Cada día a hacer cola de 20 minutos o media hora para entrar a cenar y luego ves que apenas les da tiempo a reponer comida y recoger las mesas.
Intenté dejar el coche en el parking pero no tienen plazas suficientes y aparcar por allí es casi misión imposible en días de playa.
Desde luego que no es lo que se espera de un hotel de 4 estrellas.

Enorm veel lawaaihinder, tot na middernacht, massa aan mensen die bijna over elkaar lopen.
Toen we vroegen om een kamer te wisselen naar de 'stillere kant' was dat onmogelijk.
Ook vroeger uitchecken om een ander hotel te gaan zoeken, daar was men ook niet mee akkoord.
Kortom. Nooit meer!

Hotellihuone oli ihan tilava ja siisti. Kylmävesi uima-altaassa sekä kattoterassin porealtaassa oli kyllä pettymys. Hotellilla oli mukavasti tapahtumaa ja tekemistä lasten kanssa ja hotellin oma leikkialue sekä jalkapallo kenttä olivat lasten mieleen. Tupakointi uima-altailla ja ylipäänsä hotellialueella oli harmittavaa varsinkin lasten kanssa. Huoneiden äänieristys oli erittäin huono ja naapurista sekä käytävästä kuului kaikki puhe äänikin. Auton sai hyvin pihaan parkkiin, mutta emme olleet sesonki aikaan.

Hôtel qui mériterait une rénovation des chambres avec l'installation dune porte entre la salle de bain et le coin nuit ce qui limiterait fortement les bruits venant du couloir.

En todo momento me he sentido muy cómodo. El personal de recepción es amable, alguno un poco soso. Lo que más destacaría son las instalaciones y sin dudar lo que más me ha gustado es el personal de animación, como tratan siempre de sacar una sonrisa atodo el mundo y tratan muy bien a los niños. Lo peor del hotel, para mi, ha sido la limpieza de la habitación. Cuando llegas está todo muy limpio y tal pero, cuando hacen la habitación a diario no lo dejaban igual de bien (terraza sin barrer, baño sin haber, ...). En general he estado muy agusto y volveria sin dudar.

Fräscht, stort hotell med uteslutande barnfamiljer. Bra mat och välstädat. Trevlig personal. Men stor stökig matsal med mycket slammer både vid frukost och middag. Detta förstörde helhetsupplevelsen eftersom främst middagen på kvällen inte blev så mysig som man hoppats på. Hotellet ligger i ett \"Zona turistica\" med enbart turister. Vi hade hyrbil vilket kändes bra då vi kunde se en del annat en bit från hotellet.
