This is not a hotel. There is no housekeeping for a start. We stayed 5 nights and not once was our towels changed, bins emptied, toilet rolls refilled - nothing. I had to ask for fresh towels and empty our own bin. It states staff are bilingual but they struggled to understand ‘change towels’ or ‘fresh bin bags’.
I have to say staff were friendly enough, particularly the chap that waited outside to meet us when we arrived. But there was absolutely no service.
The major issue was the cocktail bay attached to the hotel - very loud base music till 4am every night, with the exception of the last evening - it went on till 5.45am.
There is no safe in the room.
Location was good for us - but we hired a car. It was a 15 min walk to the nearest shop to buy water etc. there was no pool bar or any facilities to buy drinks.
Would not recommend, which is a shame as the hotel itself was lovey. They clearly prioritise the nightclub/cocktail bar.

I liked the room except it seemed to only be cleaned once every stay. Towels where changes every 2 days and bed sheet were not changes for the 4 nights I stayed. The biggest problem was the cocktail bar music volume, I had no problem with music all night but the volume was stupid! It was like everyone was on drugs in the bar with the staff. Shame as this property was really nice and could be so much better if not run by drug dependent staff.

We had a lovely stay in March, the hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated and feels like vintage glamour! Rooms were lovely, very comfortable bed, loved the vintage copper shower head. AC worked great and they encouraged u to leave it on all day and it was SO nice to come home to after a hot sweaty day. The staff were so sweet! Cleaned the room daily and left cookies for us in our room every afternoon. Small pool but just enough to cool off in and do a few laps. Views of ocean are wonderful, breakfast by the sea was amazing every day! They even accommodated my husbands dairy allergy and got him soy milk for his coffee. The ocean in that bay is a bit dirty as its the fishing/ferry harbour. But we knew that before hand and didn’t mind. It was nice to be centrally located and easy to get to the shops/food in both the neighboring towns. Fishermans village is closeby!

This place was great! The staff was amazing and so helpful. They were able to arrange many activities for us, even helped with tours that were not associated with their hotel, by making phone calls for us. This made our visit so much simpler and enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful, right on the beach, with an excellent restaurant attached. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious and individually prepared. It is within walking distance of some pharmacies and convenient stores. The Fisherman's Village is also nearby--a 20-30 minute walk, or a 5 minute taxi. The spa within the hotel was very nice and reasonably priced. All-in-all, if I ever return to Thailand, I am definitely going back to this hotel.

Absolute 10/10 hotel!!

Stayed in the romantic beachfront double. The room was incredible so spacious and clean.

The staff were fantastic they couldn't do enough for us, always smiling and happy to help.

Pool was so relaxing and always quiet.

The breakfast was amazing we tried half the menu and everything was delicious especially the waffles!!

There are lots of local eateries ckose to the hotel and fishermans village was around 30 minutes walk away.
15 mins drive from the airport and 10 mins from bangrak pier.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and incredibly warm and welcoming, and truly think of everything to make your stay more enjoyable. My partner and I got given treats every afternoon, the room was spacious (especially the bed and bath/ bathroom), beautiful location on Bangrak beach with a peaceful and tasteful pool and restaurant area with an amazing menu, also close to local attractions and local restaurants and convenience stores. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at and would happily stay again in the future, only (small) downside was the wifi was poor but this is a minor issue compared to the overwhelmingly lovely experience we had.

We liked our stay at The Scent. The decor is nice, the staff is helpful and it’s a off the beaten path. The breakfast is AMAZING. Some of the best food we had for breakfast on our trip. The restaurant is nice, albeit a little on the pricey side.

The only downside was our room had a bit of a standing water smell coming from the drain. We told the staff about this and they did check in, however it was never really dealt with even when we told them it hadn’t gone away. We decided to just keep the bathroom door shut but it would have been nice if a more honest attempt to resolve it was made.

The beachfront suite, that we stayed at, was fabulous, with a direct access to the beach and its own terrace. The hotel feels very private and boutique-esque, and has a very relaxed vibe. The highlight is really the food - the Thai chef is an amazing woman, who nails down international and European dishes on a level of a Michelin-star restaurant.

We arrived and checked out within 15 minutes. Hotel also refused to give any refund even though we didn’t want to stay there. Far better off paying an extra £50 a night and staying somewhere decent like the Anantara Lawana.

Rooms are smaller than described, old and tired. Not particularly clean and poor service.

Every room looks over the other and are completely glass fronted. Rooms on the bottom floor, people in the pool look directly in your window.

Phone in the room can’t dial out.

The beach is tiny and can fit about two sun beds. Restaurant was average. Pool wasn’t very clean, no proper sun beds round the pool, just weird chairs.

Perfect for a little downtime

I travelled here, alone, for a weekend getaway. The staff were so impressive, and they even made up a fruit basket for me after I severely burnt my leg. Honestly, my trip has been over for a full week now, and I still think of how amazing Nina was.

The food is fantastic, every meal cooked to perfection and the restaurant overlooks the beach which is accessible all day.

Beautiful, quiet and tranquil, I would highly recommend this place to anyone, for any length of time.

Great relaxing stay!

My husband and I were on our belated honeymoon and our 4 nights at the Scent was wonderful! From the moment we walked in the door to our check out, the staff was nothing but lovely. We were happy with our initial room, but there was one with a better view of the ocean, and they were competently accommodating when we requested to move. The breakfast each morning was SO good, they offer a happy hour, and lunch/dinner menus were great. We spent a bulk of the time exploring the island, but also spent a decent amount of time relaxing in the pool and on the beach bc it was so perfect. I personally liked the lunch menu over the dinner menu, but that is probably my personal preference. While on the beach we down to the pier and found a really lovely (inexpensive/more local) restaurant on the way. There was also a 711 and other mart near by for a few items we needed to pick up. At first we thought the transport they provided was a bit expensive, but quickly learned that was the standard for the island and having the desk manage contacting any ride we needed was helpful. They also helped us plan our snorkeling trip which was also great! The massages were worth it (we each did two!) and overall, a perfect end to our trip!! The area is a bit more secluded - but still close enough to anywhere you want to go.

Wow . . .what a scent.

As you walk into the hotel, the first thing that hits you was the beautiful scent filling in the air. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful.
The room are exceptional - beautiful bathrooms, comfy bed, great breakfast choice and your own private beach.
5/5 on everything from me. It's a paradise waiting to be discovered.

Incredible place to stay

It was mostly perfect. Visually, it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at... the private beach, the decor and the rooms are mind blowing. The food is gorgeous and the breakfast is delicious, the little biscuits at afternoon time is a lovely addition. There were some issues with the service (but really minor) and everyone is very very friendly and made us feel really welcome. We will definitely be back. It’s about 10 mins to the fisherman’s walking street Which is the best part of samui in my opinion!

Not what I had expected

This is a great small hotel, with quirky design, most rooms overlook each other and out towards the pool and the sea, as such lack privacy.
The staff are very friendly and helpful - the Food pricing is reasonable and the drinks a little over priced.
The main negatives would be
1. Relatively isolated so need transport to go any place
2. The noise from the traffic which runs along the back of the hotel rooms is noisy during the day but quiet overnight and starts up again around 7am
3. The building site next door which operates from 0900-1700 creates a constant noise throughout the day
I would expect for around GBP100 per night for the Hotel to be better set up! Just as well I had only booked for the one night.

Finally a hotel with some real character!

I really liked the uniqueness of this place. It was nicely arranged and finished with lots of nice antique touches. The restaurants food was excellent with a lot of things homemade which made a huge difference. However, the Thai food didn't quite hit the spot for me, especially given the price.

Decent Boutique hotel on the beach

When deciding where to stay in Samui, my boyfriend and I chose the hotel mostly based off of the photos Expedia and the hotel website provided. The pictures make the hotel seem a lot nicer than it actually is. Don't get me wrong, it was a cute little boutique hotel just not what we were expecting. We were a little disappointed being that we spent the most per night on this place and it wasn't near as nice as our other stays throughout our Thailand trip. The room we got was a lot smaller than expected, the only plus we could find was that the bed was comfy. The lunch and dinner menu at the hotel restaurant were ok, the included breakfast, however, was the worst breakfast we had the entire trip. Not at all like the other places where we had a buffet of delicious food to choose from every morning. The spa was another huge disappointment. During our stay, the hotel had a buy one get one free spa treatment so we went ahead and booked. HUGE MISTAKE. The spa was a very small room with one single bathroom, I would hardly call it a spa. Not a very relaxing environment at all. The steam room was even broken. We had many great spa experiences throughout our Thailand trip and this was by far the worst. Not terrible but not very satisfying either, especially with it being hotel priced. If we had payed half of what we did for our stay at the hotel I probably wouldn't be as disappointed. That being said, the hotel is way over priced for what you get.

Beautiful, friendly and perfect for a honeymoon

The hotel is fantastic and the service was even better. My wife and I were there on our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Even though they had some renovations going on during the day, the staff were quick to offer services that would make up for it as well.
All in all this is exactly the place we were looking for when thinking about a quiet romantic hotel for our stay.

What a find this place was. From the street it looks like a shop front but once inside WOW. The smell was amazing. No wonder it's called Scent. Inside was like stepping back in time. Such lovely rooms and the layout and bathroom were amazing. They lead right onto the pool and the bar restaurant area with seating right on the beach. We used the free kayak and went to the small island opposite. Wear plenty of sunscreen as it took an hour and even my Latino partner ended up burnt and peeling! A lovely place - wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing hotel!

Amazing hitel with amazing rooms and very nice staff. The pool is also great. It is right on the beach that is really cool, even though the beach is not necessarily the best one in Samui. But there are kayaks free to use for guests to explore! Also the breakfast is great!

Pros:
Beautifully decorated bedroom with all the amenities needed. Good wi-fi. Very clean throughout the hotel. Sunloungers on the beach and a couple of free kayaks to use. Excellent food for lunch / dinner

Cons:
Room was very very noisy as it backed onto a main road, so I didn't get any sleep, even with earplugs.
Waited 40 mins to be served breakfast in the morning, they gave a poor excuse that they were doing room service, yet 3 tables who arrived after me got served.
You will need a taxi to get anywhere, they are very expensive compared to mainland Thailand.

In summary - quaint hotel with excellent food but too noisy and I would stay elsewhere.

Beautiful Design, Horrible Service/Functionality

Plus: Beautiful design and spacious rooms
Negative: Major language barrier with staff, which is surprising since Ko Samui is a big tourist attraction. The pipes are old and it takes forever to get hot water in your shower/bath. I had a massage and was freezing the whole time since they just cover you with a thin towel in an highly air conditioned room. On top of that, the masseuse gave me the wrong massage because she didn't understand what I was saying...eventhough I booked a specific kind with the front desk earlier! The food is also bland.

Fantastic hotel, staff friendly and always smiling, once you walk through the doors you are in a lovely relaxing hotel that smells fantastic. We had room 224 with views over the pool and looking out towards the sea. Our balcony had a lovely hanging chair perfect to relax in and to enjoy the view over to the other islands. Food was excellent, BBQ night on the beach was brilliant
I could go on but I won't spoil it for future guests

Quiet boutique hotel on Bangrak Beach

I spent a week at this hotel and what makes it great are the staff (Som-o, Jack, Jackie, Neem, Tom (spa), the housekeepers, the turndown staff & anyone else I forgot) and the delicious food from Le Jaroen.
The rooms are a bit dated and dark (brown/gray colours) due to the Asian colonial room themes here. I was in a Sea Breeze suite w/breakfast included. The room was on the ground floor opening onto the pool deck so little/no privacy unless the curtains are drawn which made the room darker. Lighting is very dim, even in the bathroom. I had an electrical problem in the bathroom and was moved to an upper level room for my last 2 nights. The room was smaller but a bit brighter being on the 2nd level.
As mentioned above, the staff are wonderful, hardworking and always smiling. They make your stay comfortable and keep the place running smoothly! The food at Le Jaroen, although a bit pricey, is top notch. Take advantage of their lunch combo, happy hour drink specials & special dinner nights as they are very reasonably priced.
The hotel is located in a quieter area of Bophut right on Bangrak beach. It is only walking distance (10 min.) to a few local restaurants, a 7-11 & a FamilyMart. The beach is small but there are hotel chaises/umbrellas set up for guests. All in all a great stay here. The hotel is in need of some upgrading due to wear & tear & some electrical issues. If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay with nice hotel staff, then you will like this

Lovely Small Boutique Hotel

I loved the hotel. It was beautifully designed with intricate details and reminded me of the style of heritage buildings in Georgetown Penang. The hotel site is very small and squeezed between road and beach with not much on the road or environs. Having said that I was only passing through but I thought it was lovely. Gorgeous detail but not traditional if you are looking for radisson type hotels. I'd stay again.

The food and beverages were very expensive for what you get, but the ZAR is also very weak.

We have stayed in Thailand many times and visit Samui every chance we get, out of all our hotel stays the scent hotel is in our top 2. If you have any worries about booking this hotel forget them, you will have a wonderful time surrounded by wonderful staff in a beautiful part of Samui.

Rooms are clean and decor is just wonderful. beach although small is a great place to soak up the sun all day.

Vicky and the staff could not be more helpful and added that extra touch.

I stayed here for a week and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet stay.

The hotel has a nice, although small swimming pool and is located directly on the beach with free deck chairs for guests.

The restaurant serves great quality food, particularly breakfast with a big selection of dishes.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a lot of character.

Finally, the staff were exceptional, even going out of their way to drop me off at the airport free of charge.

Hotel service can be improved. Everything that you want for in extra - from transports to anywhere; extra maple syrup for breakfast requires extra costs. Hotel provides set dinner but the costs are not what was advertised. If you didn't realise, you are paying extra when it was advertised as service charge and vat included. Room is extremely dim. Only benefit it is located by the sea side and thankfully, there is still one Canoe that is working! Won't go back again.

Hotel is next to beach,but..

Nice hotel to stay with no huge tourist crowd. Good for couples. Hotel with total of 15 rooms, 3 beach front suites (2 nos. on Level 2 and 1 no. on Level 1) and 12 Sea Breeze Suites in 3 styles (European Colonial Style, Chinese Colonial Style & Local Colonial Style).
Unfortunately, hotel website does not explain much on the available styles to choose from nor what type of room you will be expecting.

Level 1 rooms are only about 3 steps away from the pool. This beach/ sea view by the scent hotel are not as nice as the beach/ view along Chaweng beach.

Hotel Restaurant food are majority western style. Breakfast are awesome (incl in hotel stay). Dinner can be on the pricey side, 2 main course (western) and 2 house wine cost around 2k ish baht. My dinner was served with the wrong order, I have to wait another 15 to 20 mins for my dinner while my friend gonna wait with his food on his table getting cold. There was no compensation.

Hotel rooms are ok, could be better. I stayed in room 224 (L2 corner unit). There is a swing at door step,good for relaxing but part sea view was blocked by the trees right smack in front (its quite wasted). Trees around the hotel need some trimming and maintenance.

Hotel towels condition were quite bad, some with holes and frills at all corners. My room TV with slight technical fault. could not switch off totally and cant locate the tv plug to switch off, TV just goes on and off throughout the night. Technician came twice to fix (2 nights).

Nice hotel in Bangrak Beach

This is a small 14 or 15 room hotel on a plot between the road and the beach, built in a colonial style. Our room was a seafront suite looking out towards Kho Phagnan and was large and comfortable despite looking a little tired in places, although nothing major to worry about.
There is a pleasant, outdoor dining area right on the beach serving excellent food, although a little expensive, and the drinks prices were pushing UK prices, so again a little high for Thailand. Quality was high, however. The pool is small but adequate and I witnessed it being cleaned every morning.
The best feature of this hotel, however, is the staff. They are friendly, polite and courteous. They always greet you with a smile on their faces and always stop doing their jobs to speak if they see you approaching. They even recommended places for us to see and visit.
We would stay there again were we in Koh Samui but maybe a little later after rainy season, as the weather was very changeable. There was nothing the hotel could do about this!!

There are better resorts

It is a small boutique hotel, breakfast was included however you cn select only one item! Extra per item around 295++ - not good! The beach very small and dirty. Around area nothing much if you dont have a motorbike or car

Nice hotel but not the best location

Stylish hotel and the one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Beautiful view over the water to Koh Pha-Ngan from the restaurant
Unfortunately on a less than optimal stretch of beach, too shallow to swim in. At least a 15 minute walk (along the main road with not much space to walk especially when there has been a lot of rain) into the fisherman's village. The roosters next door also wake you up every morning at 6.30am.
Don't get a taxi from the Hotel. They charge almost double the amount you would pay to hire a taxi off the street. Pickups are by far the cheapest way to get into fisherman's village (apart from walking).
Would recommend going for the suites if possible near the beach as they have their own big balconies with hammocks and much more space.
Lots of renovation were taking place when we were staying so will hopefully be refreshed and even nicer soon.

Intimate hotel on Bang Rak beach. Away from crowd

Lovely hotel but our room 121 (beach front suite) was very tired looking. Soft furnishings need replacing as well as the single chair. Price of food and massage very high compared to other resorts. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach is better at Bophut Beach. Bangrak Beach is slimy as you enter the water. A must - dinner at Ocean 11!

Quiet, nice room.

Nice rooms. Food was expensive , but that goes along with higher star hotels. Cleaning staff were friendly . We were planning on staying a couple more days but due to the friendliness or lack there of at breakfast time, we decided to leave. Breakfast server made us feel like we were a bother just asking for more coffee or for our plates to be cleared. Had to pay extra for some bacon even though breakfast was included. Over all , a lovely quiet hotel. Just walk down the road to eat.

Not Safe! Stolen Valuables

Listen to the reviews about stolen valuables on Tripadvisor. I arrived here for 5nights stay with my fiance. On the fifth day I left my diamond ring in the room just to go down for breakfast. I didn't feel the need to carry my valuables since for the past four days the room was being cleaned in the afternoon. We went down at 9.30 after locking the room, came back up at 10.30 only to find the room has been cleaned and my ring missing. It was the only valuable in the room.

This has completely ruined my holiday and experience of Thailand. We spent a traumatising day at the police station and with the police interrogating the housekeepers, but of course nothing was found. The hotel manager (Vicky) kept saying that they have no way of ascertaining whether the ring was stolen or whether I misplaced it or lost it elsewhere, which was very frustrating.

If you still decide to stay here in spite of this, there are better beaches and better hotels on the island.

Beautiful hotel next to the beach

The location is amazing next to the beach on the north coast so near to all the major attractions but quiet and relaxing. The name says it all the whole venue is full of beautiful Thai scents. The staff are wonderful, friendly and the food is excellent. We loved it!

Beautiful retreat with lovely decor and beach

When we arrived at the hotel early we were not surprised that we would have to wait 1hr and a half until checkin time for access, this wait was extended by half an hour because the room was not ready at checkin time. We were offered 20% off food at Le Jaroen however we hadn't really planned on eating lunch there and the menu was expensive. The food was tasty, however, we were a little disappointed at the small offer (20% off voucher) for our wait.

The decor and ambience of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and bar staff are attentive and well mannered. Our room was always cleaned to a high standard and we were left little sweet treats ie.sponge cakes by the maid each day.

Pool, dining area and private beach are all relaxing and beautiful.

After being stuck in monsoon conditions on our bikes after a day out we returned to the hotel with two friends absolutely drenched. We asked for extra towels at the reception reluctantly we managed to get afew more so our friends could use our facilities to freshen up. Given that we had been stuck out in the rain we found it a little unfortunate that the receptionist was not so accommodating.

We had to leave a day early and as we had pre-paid for our room we informed reception that our friend would be staying instead. When we eventually spoke to the manager (5 hours later) we were very pleased with how accomodating she was.

Very nice hotel, pleasant staff

We stayed here for 4 nights on our trip around the islands. Nicely tucked away hotel not too far from anywhere you'd want to go - we hired a scooter and would recommend this to others. Lovely surrounds and awesome style.
Restaurant prices were a bit excessive (same or more than at home) so we ate out. The general vibe of the place and the way we were treated by hotel staff was fantastic, would definitely recommend this hotel.

At first we were a bit disappointed that we didn't seem to be very close to anything, but this turned out to be a real bonus. We quickly discovered that Fisherman's Wharf was a few minutes - and 60 - 100 baht - away from us and it had wonderful restaurants and plenty to see and do. Spent a day in Chewang, but were pretty happy to get back to the peace and tranquillity of the Scent. Staff were delightful. Breakfast was the best anywhere we stayed in Thailand. Very peaceful stay.

Poor hotel don't know how it got its stars

Checked in late at night staff showed us to terrible room 114 - told if we weren't happy we could move the next day. Bedding smelt of mould and damp, room almost derelict looking. On ground floor, floor to ceiling windows with curtains that didn't cover the windows - no privacy. See through blinds over windows in the shower and toilet room. Bath and safe didn't work, no hot water. Exhausted so stayed the night. Woken up at 3 am by other guests shouting and swearing, banging on our doors/windows. Only good thing - breakfast delicious! Walked down the beach in daylight - dirty and loads of building works starting at 8am. Of faded glory, baffles me that ratings are so excellent. Right on a busy road (which we heard all night and morning) - little to do unless you get a taxi out each time and road to dangerous to walk on. Hotel manager offered upgrade but we were too unhappy to even see it. Refund issued and moved to Resotel on chaweng beach - gorgeous clean beach with plenty to do but also peaceful. Private mini pool overlooking the sea - which was excellent. The scent needs some serious work, also big shame about the location

Quiet boutique

The Scent Hotel is a perfect place to stay if you want total peace and quiet, away from the chaos of other areas like Chaweng. The only downside is that you can't recline on sun loungers right by the pool. It's really a hotel for a few days and not suitable for kids.

A pure delight in Koh Samui

My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights, and they were 6 magical nights. The hotel itself is boutique. We stayed in room 111 a beachfront suite. The room was huge. Our door opened up to a patio and down a few steps to the beach. Breakfast included daily and half price cocktails all day. The staff were friendly and happy. We did not want to leave.

The Scent is not for everyone

We stayed at The Scent for a seven days. The forst room we stayed in was not very well lit and the shower which had an overhead and hand held unit both seemed to partially operate at the same time when it should have been one or the other. The water pressure varied.

The location of this room which had a continuous balcony meant that your next door neighbour would walk past your door (no privacy) unless the curtains were drawn.

Fortunately, we were able to move to another room after a couple of days, the second room was much larger and had a better shower.

I am not sure how to describe our overall feeling about the Scent, for sure it will not be somewhere that we will book into again. But I should also say that the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. There was a three period when the hotel was unable to provide fresh face clothes because they said their machine had broken down.

One night or should I say 0230am some couples started to jump in the swimming pool and making lots of noise waking up other residents despite the fact that the pool is supposed to be closed at 8pm. The Scent does not have 24 hour front desk service so there was apparently some issue about how to control the situation. We were told the next morning that it was two couples who had ben drinking and had since checked out.

The actual location of the Scent means that to trvel anywhere you neet to either catch a taxi or hire a motor bike or car.

A hidden gem with an unique boutique style.

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights and it was full of surprises everyday. There is a certain aromatic scent in the air as soon as you open the main door and it is everywhere when you step into the room. The room is amazing and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

The only complaint I have for the hotel is there aren't many things to do in the area and the the beach is not really up to standard. However, we woke up everyday with a wonderful sea view and can't really complain that it is not nice enough.

The hotel is suitable for couples who want to have a romantic getaway with tranquility and peacefulness.

If you want to rent a car or a motorbike, just walk across the road and speak to Mass, the owner. She will certainly give you her 100% attention and help you as much as she can with transport to the airport.

A little piece of Paradise

The Scent Hotel is a boutique beauty in Samui. Just nestled off a main road behind a large iron door you wouldn't really guess what is behind the door from the outside but step in and a small oasis awaits. Our room was an Ocean View Suite and when we stepped in the room really does have the wow factor. It was a large and very beautiful open plan bedroom with a huge bed and a hall leading to large wardrobe, shower room and separate free standing bath with ocean view. We then stepped out onto our own private balcony with table and chairs for eating and drinking and steps leading to our own beachview outdoor bed and private section of the beach! Absolutely Breathtaking! Staff were extremely friendly and very attentive, pool is big and never too busy and you can get drink service whilst in it and there are little deck chairs and tables to sit around and relax in, breakfast was very good each morning with a good selection of Thai and Western choices, happy hour all day every day for drinks including beers and cocktails is an added bonus. We also had room service which again was top class. Location wise you have Bophut Fishermans Village for the night market and bars and street food around 5 mins taxi and around 10-15 mins to chaweng and of course the hotel will arrange this for you if required. We absolutely loved our stay at this tranquil hotel on the island and would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here if you get the chance

Tranquil escape

The hotel is wonderful for a relaxing escape. From the moment we arrived they totally spoilt us with the good service. We had the chef's 5 course menu for dinner in the restaurant - absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend it.

I stayed there for 4 days and my room was stink the whole time and the smell came from the shower stand. On my first day, they made me wait for 2 hours for checking in, because my room was not ready. When I checked out, I told the girl in the front desk abut the stinky smell, she only said 'thanks' but did not say 'sorry' at all and her service was not nice.

The staff at the restaurant was very nice and providing excellent services.

Boutique hotel at its best!!!

Unfourtunetly we only stayed for 2 nights out of our 2week vacation in thailand. I wish we had stayed here for the whole 2 weeks! Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in and this includes 5* resorts in the carribean.
The service from the moment we got there until the time we left was amazing! So friendly and helpful with out being false! The food and dining experience was quality at its best! The rooms were absolutely stunning n unique. I can not say enough good things about this hotel! I can not wait to go back, which I 100% will be.
