Room was large, clean, bed comfy, only concern I had was a health and safety issue, the window in our room on the 7th floor was large and opened all the way (I do have a photo), very concerned about the safety aspect of this, especially if children use that room.

We required a hotel that was clean and comfortable close to the main part of town with a secure car park and the Mercure Bresancon Parc Micaud fitted our needs well. This was my third time at this hotel. It is a good hotel for the area. It also seems to be the standard type of hotel for the area. I would recommend it to anyone for use.

While this is not a 5-star hotel in terms of overall amenities or pure luxury, it is an exceptional value. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the morning breakfasts are comprehensive and the location is close to many restaurants and mass transit. I will be back on my next trip to Besancon!

Hotel room overall outdated. Excellent service and very nice foid (room service). Also disappointed (for a 4 star hotel) was the lack of a fitness/wellness area.

Probably one of the worst in the area
Where to start... Old hotel, no comfort. It was 95 deg outside and no AC in the room, hotels don't believe in AC in France. Impossible to get even a fan. For a 4 star hotel, a lot to improve from slow WIFI to bedding and of course the ability to make customers comfortable during the hottest week of the year.

The hotel lobby is modern but once you go to the elevator you begin the journey into the past. I was very disappointed at the rooms comfort and lack of style.

This was a last minute booking as the hotel we had booked was disgusting. What a great find. The staff were very helpful and the rooms comfortable. A short walk over the river into the town revealed a great place to explore. We will definitely go back.

Comfortable hotel, with easy parking
We only had one night in the hotel, though we had reserved two. It was not as close to the town as we expected, but Besancon was going through many road improvement projects at the time. There was also a Braderie in the town at the time, which clogged up the streets. We did walk to the Citadelle and back, which is worth a visit, and needs at least a half day to appreciate.
Driving to the hotel and away from the hotel was slow and difficult because of the road improvement work, and the high level of traffic.
Parking was easy, and secure.

L'hôtel n'est absolument pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles. Réservation d'une chambre twin non obtenu sur 2 chambres. De la moquette dans les chambres sans pantoufles, pas de savon, mauvaise odeur de la clim. Le petit déjeuner, plus de venoiserie, ni becon, pour le prix 18,50€ encore plus chère que Paris, Lyon, Marseille et les enfants de 12 ans sont considérés comme des adultes. Laisser nos enfants grandir avec le temps. Le comble et la caution plus chère que le prix de la chambre 300€ de caution comment faire si pas de disponibilité sur le compte ? Se détail n'est pas mentionné sur hôtel.com

Personnel sympathique. Hôtel un peu vieillot, mais bien situé. chambre propre, wifi bien et literie confortable. Seul bémol, la climatisation qui est très bruyante et inefficace. Hors la chambre était chaude. Obligée de dormir la fenêtre ouverte et il y avait des travaux dans la rue (cependant moins bruyant que la clim). Fenêtre dans la SDB, ce qui est un plus, mais dommage de ne pas pouvoir l'ouvrir.

Pas d'eau en chambre, pas à la hauteur d'un Mercure... Un grand besoin de nouveaux grooms aux portes car beaucoup de claquement. Les positifs : bon PDJ et bonne literie !

Bon accueil du personnel mais hôtel qui a dû être prestigieux en son temps, il est en train d’être refait à neuf et sera bien j’espère en fin d’année mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi un groupe comme Accord attend si longtemps pour faire des travaux, hôtel pourtant juste à côté du casino…

En attente de rénovation depuis plus de dix ans … je continue à y venir pour l’emplacement et le confort , même avec la déco et mobilier à changer .. lors de mes dernières visites 1 ascenseur sur les deux était en panne , et là les deux sont hs , reste celui de service .. le restaurant est lui aussi fermé… le début de la fin , en attendant la reprise en main ?

Un effort a faire sur l'hygiène et la propreté, que ça soit SDB ou chambre le pire c'était au petit déjeuner trop de mouches sur le buffet😵 ça se baladait du jambon à la viennoiserie d'ailleurs je l'ai signalé à un serveur et j'ai préféré consommer 1 café et un yaourt au moins le pot été fermé.

Originaire de Besançon, je connaissais depuis tres lontemps (1970), mais je n'y avait pas eu l'occasion d'y descendre.
J'ai beaucoup zpprecié la magnifique vue sur lz Citadelle, la vieille ville et le parc Micaud. La literie est parfaite et les volumes de la chambre et de la salle de bains sont confortable. L'hotel est resté dans son jus d'origine.
Hâte de decouvrir les nouveaux agencements prevu !

L'hôtel a vraiment besoin de rénovation, c'est vieillot, mal entretenu (peinture écaillée, murs abimés, moquette élimée...). Confort limité du matelas, propreté limite, odeur de vieux dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner: peu de fruits et peu de choses pour les personnes avec des intolérances, il faut demander au personnel pour remplir les plats vides. Loin d’être un hôtel 4 étoiles.... une propreté vraiment à revoir, des fils de poussière, même pas de savon dans le bain .... des taches sur la baignoire ...ne regardez pas en dessous des lits vous risquez d’être surpris... pour en conclure avec cet hotel le personnel est vraiment serviable mais niveau nettoyage pour le Covid je pense que ce n’est pas l’hôtel qu’il faut !
