We were so disappointed with our experience at this property. The room shown in the listing was not the room we received. We were initially placed on the bottom floor with no ocean view at all. After complaining, we were moved up one floor, but it still was not the unit pictured in the photos, which clearly showed an end unit.

To make matters worse, after checkout our deposit was never returned, even after multiple phone calls and being told the funds would be released.

It’s unfortunate because this could have been a great stay if we had actually received the room we reserved and paid for, and if the deposit issue had been handled properly.

It's a nice area and great rooms. If you're checking in after-hours, you have to call a number, then someone comes and let's you in the office, then he calls another person and you give them your credit card info over the phone. It's tedious and a little sketchy.

Yhe room was filthy. It had been smoked in. There were bugs as the back door was left open when we arrived in and my wife had an allergiv reaction to whatever was there and my sine had breathijg issues as he cannot be around smoke. Ive left my name and number and have called and no one will call me back about getting a partial refund.

Floor was extremely dirty like it hadn’t been mopped ever, I brought my own mop and vaccum thankfully and it took 4 buckets to mop to room because it was so dirty. I wouldn’t consider this a premium newly remodeled room because the only newness was counter tops and cabinets that’s it everything else appears to be original to building being built. Hot tub at pool was broken and putt put course has seen better days, greens were missing.

This location likely had its prime moments, showcasing beauty and vibrancy. However, it currently appears neglected, with numerous protruding boards along the pathways and broken bridge planks posing potential trip hazards, especially at night. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, and there was a significant presence of bumblebees, suggesting possible nests near the porches. It’s disheartening to witness a once-thriving place now in a state of disrepair.

The second bedroom had no air conditioning and no ceiling fan, making it nearly unusable.

Other issues included chipped paint, cracked tiles, water damage on the main bedroom ceiling, and broken blinds. These are not minor details—they reflect a property that is not being properly maintained.

After raising concerns at checkout, I was told “premium” only means updated countertops and no carpet. That is misleading and does not justify the higher rate.

This was nowhere near a premium experience. It was overpriced, poorly maintained, and not worth the upgrade.

One of our favorite places to visit. But I am worried that this beautiful resort is failing. Staff was kind and gracious. But nothing done to fix maintenance issues. Nighty visits from raccoons in the room. No one showed to fix the hole in the ceiling that they were coming through.
Dryer was a fire hazard. Reported but no one showed up to do anything about it. Still an active fire hazard when we left. It just needed someone to show up and disable the unit so it couldn’t be used. Never happened.

Out dated property. If your used to staying in 3 stars or higher this may not be for you. Although I think they are trying, there not keeping up with the aging property. Kitchen was updated but the rest was old. Check in was late and horrible i had to call and wait on a security cart to show up. Pool was nice but not enough seating. Teenagers where in the hot tub whole evening so couldn’t enjoy that. Gaming area was horrible, full of leaves. Putt putt area was missing turf, i even seen security trying to glue new stuff on. What a disaster, my kid could have done better.Wrinkles and gaps everywhere, what a waste of money. My son slept on couch because the beds where uncomfortable and pillows where terrible. I think this property was top notch 20 years ago, the room layouts were perfect and spacious. But like i said i dont believe there budget can keep up with the aging property unfortunately. Landscaping rock would be a nice addition. Everything is showing its age. Thankyou

This place was clean and everything was there that we needed. The resort itself is beautiful with the pool and hot tub, game room, and other family friendly options. I felt safe allowing my teens to wander on their own. The drawback to this resort is you have literally nothing to do at night. You have to drive everywhere and St. Augustine is a 30 drive or Daytona 30 minutes the other way. I loved it for the relaxing atmosphere and for younger kids this place would be great! For the olders, I will wait until they can drive their own rental car

We really enjoyed staying here. The amenities were a bit outdated but we still had fun. Loved that our family had plenty of room. Was really grossed out by the dishwasher with water at the bottom, but we were prepared and had paper plates and just washed anything else we needed. We were rushed out 30 minutes before our checkout with the cleaning crew sitting outside. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Was a great value for the amount of space. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was flooded upon arrival. Maintenance came and cleaned it up and fixed the dish washer that was leaking. Later that night, we were taking a shower when our downstairs neighbor came banging on our door asking if we were using the shower. We said yes and he informed us that his room was flooding and water was coming from the ceiling. We immediately stopped showering and couldn't wash the rest of our stay.
We tried to go get help at the front desk to potentially move rooms but nobody was there. We also requested a late check out but was never told any further information on it. In the morning we called to ask again and they told us we could check out 30 minutes late. We were disappointed because we had stayed up very late the night before due to all the water issues.

Lastly, we finally emailed support to tell them about our experience and nothing came of it. Not even a response.

The two bedrooms and two bathrooms is a great setup for families. The property offers lots of activities: tennis, putt- putt golf, gym and pool. The furnishings need updates especially the couch and chairs. You just sink in the cushions. The unit was well cleaned and kitchen was well equipped.

Very happy with this stay, I wish every hotel had grounds like this. There is a huge live oak on the grounds and a very nice looking swimming pool that we didn't use. Amazingly peaceful and we loved the screened porch and water features. Yes the inside is dated and shows its age a little, think Golden Girls era, but it was clean and spacious. All the amenities you need are provided, and there are walking trails and bike rentals. It's in a lovely little area with a lot of shaded paths. Overall this was one of my favorite stays. Would definitely return.

If you go to check in after 9pm, you’ll probably have to wait outside for 15+ minutes for a security guard to show up and let you in the lobby to check in. None of the posted phone numbers work. They either go straight to voicemail or go unanswered. The listings on the website are not accurate. All the rooms show a garden tub, but the room didn't have one.

The check-was easy, staff was friendly and accommodated our needs for 1st floor. (No elevators). The room smelled old and musty. The blankets on the bed were very thin, I had to go seek out another blanket from the other room. No hot water after running the water for 5 min. No telephone or phone number to access the front desk.

The room is old and tired, although the bed was comfy. The living room furniture was decrepit, we had to sit on the edge of the couch because the cushions just sank and the coffee table was about to fall apart, literally. Kitchen area was good and the unit had a washer and dryer.
The outdoor recreation areas seemed really nice, we didn’t use it because we came back late. But we did walk around and the pool and hot tub looked nice. The grilling area was good and had two fire tables ,no gas tanks, but it was a warm evening. There is an outdoor game area, covered but open on one side, it had pool, a tv, ping pong and for hole. There was music piped in thru the whole area, just a nice background sound. All the ponds had waterfalls, although about half were not working at the time.
Check-in was a breeze and the young lady at the desk was great.

If you would prefer to stay in a vacation condo rather than a hotel, then this place may be for you... it was clean enough, but be prepared to be disappointed with some of the upkeep maintenece as it falls short in a number of areas. Sadly, considering the economic climate and continued difficulty in finding and keeping motivated help these days, it has become somewhat expected.

We had a great stay overall. The space was very spacious and extremely clean, which we really appreciated. While some of the furniture—especially in the living room—felt a bit outdated (the curtains weren’t my favorite), the kitchen and bathroom looked recently remodeled, which was a huge plus. Having updated, modern kitchen and bathroom areas definitely made up for the older furniture.

The front desk staff truly stood out. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. They took the time to explain the resort options clearly and were very accommodating with our late check-in request, which made the experience stress-free. It’s pet friendly and not crazy pet fee as seen in other places. Very fair price.

Overall, this was a great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend!
