Overall, we had an amazing time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. However, the facilities and rooms are in need of updates and renovations, as they feel outdated. The quality of the food at some of the restaurants was disappointing. In addition, there were no evening or nighttime activities for teenagers, which left them with very few entertainment options after dark.
We will definitely return.

I was disappointed with our recent stay at Hammock Beach. They now charge an additional fee for mini golf, which used to be included. Years ago, the pool temperatures were comfortable, the waterfalls were flowing, and the overall experience was much more enjoyable.

This visit, the pools felt more like hot tubs than swimming pools. The water was uncomfortably warm, and it made me question whether the temperatures were being properly regulated for cleanliness and guest comfort.

Unfortunately, the experience was not what I remembered, and the added charges along with the pool conditions have made this a place I do not plan to visit again.

This version keeps your concerns clear, factual, and more likely to be helpful to future guests.

Wonderful property for families- beautiful views and great pool with lazy river and water slides. The food and beverage was the only area that needs improvement. Meals at both of the fine dining restaurants were overpriced for the quality- salty soup, over seasoned pasta, tiny burrata salad for $18 etc.. Coffee and pastries were not good either. If the food quality can be improved we would come back again and again and dine on property but in the future we will just go offsite. We will definitely be back!

The valet was great! We were slightly disappointed that the onsite coffee shop was only open for limited hours. Additionally, when we walked down for assistance at concierge, we did not have the best experience with the front desk staff. Be prepared, if you want to find seats at any of the pools, you will need to get in line early. Overall, the view was exceptional and it was convenient to shopping.

Pool area is amazing!! Everything is great and beautiful! But just to use all the amenities it is better to stay at the main tower, not at the Lodge. I booked the room at Lodge just because I wanted to have a better view of the ocean (so I booked an ocean view). That was the only reason! To open the patio door and see the beach! My room ended up being facing the dumpster, and a tent that they have on the side of the property, the entrance of the parking lot… and I could barely see a little bit of the ocean far away on the side. We didn’t say anything about it because they helped us with early check in so we could have lunch at the restaurant there. Plus the room cleanliness is not the same as the tower, we found some housekeeping issues. So I would go back to the property but to the main tower only!

It’s a beautiful resort. We had to spent most of our time at the lazy river because there was lots of sea weeds on the beach which was disappointing. Not sure if they only clean it on the weekends. We were there in the middle of the week. The room, the food and atmosphere is great.

We recently stayed at this resort and had a great overall experience with a few notable highlights. The property itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable from start to finish. The pool area was a big hit, especially for families—our kids absolutely loved the pool slide and the lazy river. It’s a great setup for keeping children entertained while still being relaxing for adults.

Another feature we really enjoyed was the spacious front lawn. It provided a perfect spot for playing, relaxing, and spending time outdoors as a family. It added a nice, open feel to the resort and gave the kids even more room to run around.

That said, the biggest downside of our stay was the checkout process. We were charged for drinks we did not order, and the itemized bill was not clear. The staff did not know what the items were either. Thankfully, we took the time to review it and ask questions, which led to the issue being sent to accounting for review. Without carefully checking, we might have paid for those extra charges. The resort could improve on the names of the itemized bill entry so a quick glance will ensure a smooth and easy check-out process.

Overall, the resort offers a clean, family-friendly environment with great amenities, but I’d strongly recommend double-checking your bill at checkout to avoid any surprises.

The multiple pools are clean and refreshing. Drinking cocktails in the pool is allowed. They have an adult pool with a bar and kitchen serving delicious food all day. They have the biggest jacuzzi i have ever seen, so relaxing. Everything was above 5 star. We will be back, in fact its hard to leave this slice of heaven. Highly recommended

The pools were nice. We were in the South Tower which was a long walk to main pool. We did not like that you needed to go through the parking garage anytime you want to go somewhere on the property. We stayed in a 3 bed, 4 bath luxury suite. Very spacious but the unit needed some updating. Dishwasher blade appeared to be broken so we didn’t even try to use. Oven door was hard to open. Ice maker was frozen over and we fixed ourselves. The property was beautiful, beach was nice. We all had a great time and would definitely return.

We normally LOVE coming to Hammock Beach and have been many times before. This trip unfortunately felt like they've gone down hill recently. From the tv remotes being held together by black tape to the staff not really being the friendliest. I would say 2 out of 10 people actually seemed happy to work there. The others felt like it was bothersome to have to speak to people. We experienced pretty unhappy wait staff and managers and no one really had that service with a smile that they used to. The front desk check in staff were great and the manager Frank was a sweetheart but otherwise we definitely missed the WOW factor that it used to have.

Great resort for families. Plenty of activities for the kids. The pool is fun with lots of areas to explore but still close enough to keep an eye on the kids. Lots of options for types of rooms to accommodate any family. We stayed in the lodge with an ocean view - loved it! I wish there were more options for dining - maybe a breakfast buffet. Maybe there was a breakfast buffet and I didn’t know? Not sure. But overall a great trip. There are some great local restaurants right near the resort. There’s also a Publix very close to grab essentials when needed. The golf course was well kept and nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time. Highly recommend. We stay at Hammock at least twice a year for the last 10 years. We usually book direct through the website or stay with family under their reservation, we take turns booking. We used the hotels.com app this time for the rewards we earn.
Love this place and specifically choose it even though it is significantly more expensive than other options in the area because the amenities are great and the rooms and condos are luxurious, high quality and fantastic.
This time we were really disappointed as the cleaning staff skipped our room both days, even though we saw them in the hall both days. It’s really hard to do a pool and beach vacation without fresh towels and we would have liked to have our beds made and garbages emptied.
The “premium” one bedroom we booked was in fact only an open concept room with no separate bedroom and there were no laundry machines. To be fair, we didnt verify laundry but didn’t think to because every other time we have stayed there has been laundry and we took it for granted. We usually cook our meals in the condo and the kitchen was only a kitchenette without any cooking utensils.
Lastly, the shower head and one of the bathroom taps were not in good shape at all, again, it’s really important to be able to have a good shower on a beach/pool vacation. They were both clogged or worn, I’m not sure which, but the pressure was both non existent and spraying all over the place. Certainly not the level of quality we would expect for Hammock.

The kids pool was heated which made is fantastic on warm and cool days. Lots of seating with umbrellas. Staff are very attentive to offer drinks/food but not pushy which is appreciated.
The rooms are immaculate. The villa we stayed in was so spacious and beautiful. Perfect for our family of four. We can't wait until our next vacation there!
