It’s a beautiful resort. We had to spent most of our time at the lazy river because there was lots of sea weeds on the beach which was disappointing. Not sure if they only clean it on the weekends. We were there in the middle of the week. The room, the food and atmosphere is great.

We recently stayed at this resort and had a great overall experience with a few notable highlights. The property itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable from start to finish. The pool area was a big hit, especially for families—our kids absolutely loved the pool slide and the lazy river. It’s a great setup for keeping children entertained while still being relaxing for adults.

Another feature we really enjoyed was the spacious front lawn. It provided a perfect spot for playing, relaxing, and spending time outdoors as a family. It added a nice, open feel to the resort and gave the kids even more room to run around.

That said, the biggest downside of our stay was the checkout process. We were charged for drinks we did not order, and the itemized bill was not clear. The staff did not know what the items were either. Thankfully, we took the time to review it and ask questions, which led to the issue being sent to accounting for review. Without carefully checking, we might have paid for those extra charges. The resort could improve on the names of the itemized bill entry so a quick glance will ensure a smooth and easy check-out process.

Overall, the resort offers a clean, family-friendly environment with great amenities, but I’d strongly recommend double-checking your bill at checkout to avoid any surprises.

This little jem is absolutely amazing. The staff is unbelievably attentive, polite and professional. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. The multiple pools are clean and refreshing. Drinking cocktails in the pool is allowed. They have an adult pool with a bar and kitchen serving delicious food all day. They have the biggest jacuzzi i have ever seen, so relaxing. Everything was above 5 star. We will be back, in fact its hard to leave this slice of heaven. Highly recommended

The pools were nice. We were in the South Tower which was a long walk to main pool. We did not like that you needed to go through the parking garage anytime you want to go somewhere on the property. We stayed in a 3 bed, 4 bath luxury suite. Very spacious but the unit needed some updating. Dishwasher blade appeared to be broken so we didn’t even try to use. Oven door was hard to open. Ice maker was frozen over and we fixed ourselves. The property was beautiful, beach was nice. We all had a great time and would definitely return.

We normally LOVE coming to Hammock Beach and have been many times before. This trip unfortunately felt like they've gone down hill recently. From the tv remotes being held together by black tape to the staff not really being the friendliest. I would say 2 out of 10 people actually seemed happy to work there. The others felt like it was bothersome to have to speak to people. We experienced pretty unhappy wait staff and managers and no one really had that service with a smile that they used to. The front desk check in staff were great and the manager Frank was a sweetheart but otherwise we definitely missed the WOW factor that it used to have.

Staff not friendly nor accommodating at all. We had rain for two days and every time we went to front desk for questions they seemed bothered. They didn't offer anything special since we couldn't use the outdoor faciloties. Other resorts get creative to keep everyone happy due to bad weather. Pretty place, bad people.

This is an awesome place. Room was roomie and clean. Staff was very nice . There are several pools along with being right on the beach. There are several restaurants with very good food, portions were also good. Short drive to do some sight seeing or just stay at resort, there are plenty of things to do.

Great resort for families. Plenty of activities for the kids. The pool is fun with lots of areas to explore but still close enough to keep an eye on the kids. Lots of options for types of rooms to accommodate any family. We stayed in the lodge with an ocean view - loved it! I wish there were more options for dining - maybe a breakfast buffet. Maybe there was a breakfast buffet and I didn’t know? Not sure. But overall a great trip. There are some great local restaurants right near the resort. There’s also a Publix very close to grab essentials when needed. The golf course was well kept and nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time. Highly recommend. We will likely com back

We stay at Hammock at least twice a year for the last 10 years. We usually book direct through the website or stay with family under their reservation, we take turns booking. We used the hotels.com app this time for the rewards we earn.
Love this place and specifically choose it even though it is significantly more expensive than other options in the area because the amenities are great and the rooms and condos are luxurious, high quality and fantastic.
This time we were really disappointed as the cleaning staff skipped our room both days, even though we saw them in the hall both days. It’s really hard to do a pool and beach vacation without fresh towels and we would have liked to have our beds made and garbages emptied.
The “premium” one bedroom we booked was in fact only an open concept room with no separate bedroom and there were no laundry machines. To be fair, we didnt verify laundry but didn’t think to because every other time we have stayed there has been laundry and we took it for granted. We usually cook our meals in the condo and the kitchen was only a kitchenette without any cooking utensils.
Lastly, the shower head and one of the bathroom taps were not in good shape at all, again, it’s really important to be able to have a good shower on a beach/pool vacation. They were both clogged or worn, I’m not sure which, but the pressure was both non existent and spraying all over the place. Certainly not the level of quality we would expect for Hammock.

Everything about Hammock Beach Resort was perfect! Theres a wide variety of restaurants on site, nice pools and beautiful rooms. Theres a security entrance that makes everything very safe to wonder the resort freely.
The kids pool was heated which made is fantastic on warm and cool days. Lots of seating with umbrellas. Staff are very attentive to offer drinks/food but not pushy which is appreciated.
The rooms are immaculate. The villa we stayed in was so spacious and beautiful. Perfect for our family of four. We can't wait until our next vacation there!

I’ve stayed 4 other times. It’s a beautiful property. Amenities are very nice. Golf, gym, pools all great. I don’t eat at hotels so I can’t say anything about that. We typically eat locally or St. Augustine.

The the room kitchenette could use a spruce up. Bed was comfortable.

Room were outdated, staff was very polite however this hotel is a club and it seems that they cater for their member, we were hungry after a long drive and decided to go to eat at the atlantic grill and was greeted by the host with do you have a reservation ? No one at check in mentioned that we needed reservation ,all the restaurant we try to eat ,we were greeted by you need a reservation , I did not feel welcome in this place .why would you take the money for non members for rooms,but make them feel not welcome.never coming back to this \"hotel\" which is not a hotel ,it is club that caters for their member, should not be a hotel.

The grout in the bathroom floor tiles and entryway need a thorough cleaning and the carpet need cleaning or replaced. The overall decor is nice but the sofa is worn and need an upgrade. they stay and Resort overall were great! I do however have some criticism! the room is advertised as a 1 bdr but it doesn’t have doors, which we really wanted with an infant. The room really is more of a studio because it’s all open! However it is spacious and clean! furthermore nowhere on the website does it state that there is a height restriction on the waterslide! We specifically booked the resort because of the slide and the bedroom and we did not get to enjoy either because our daughter was a few inches too short! feels awfully like false advertisement and the staff was not very nice about it!!!

The stay was advertised as a resort experience, but we were placed in a villa that was actually a third-floor townhouse several buildings away. It did not feel like a resort at all — no room service and limited amenities. The unit itself was not very clean, showed signs of heavy use, and the carpet had an unpleasant odor.

Golf was also misleading, as two courses are advertised but one is located about 25 minutes away, which was not clearly disclosed. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

It was a beautiful hotel. The experience satisfied all our expectations. The night life at the lobby with the dj was a lot of fun and the bar. The staff at the restaurants were super patient and kind. And the housekeeper was super nice and kind as well, we stayed at building 35 on the last floor and he was very polite.

Desk Clerk said hotel has a large group and only room available was second floor that didn’t have ocean view as there are secondary hotel buildings in front of the window !! It turned out she gave me accessible room !!! Worst shower ! Both hand and rain shower works at same time so half the presssure and fixture is total loose !! What a rip off ! There were barely any guest there let alone big group. All facility closes at 10am except one grill that closes at 11pm !! This isn’t resort where it’s all closed before midnight. I like to ask for refund and did complain at check out but I don’t expect it !!

The room was in good condition. Great view. The Hotel staff was very friendly, However, Food service in 2 out of 5 places wasn't so great..
I know its convenient to have 5 restaurant, but food is not worth staying for.. go out and explore the town..Coffee shop is ridiculous, they don't open until 7am, and all the employees work on 1 order instead of someone taking the order and someone else works on it so more orders can be taken.. very inefficient.
