The breakfast was terrible. The room is tiny and people were bumping into each other. There was NO clean up and the food trays were empty at 7:30 a.m. When I asked for decaf coffee, I was told they can't justify having it because people don't BUY it. It was a very bad experience so we went outside the hotel to eat.
Also, the common areas of the hotel were very, very loud.

The price quoted was great. The check-in was slow and performed with little sense of urgency. The room was very clean as was the path to the room including the lobby area and halls. The breakfast was very nice. The breakfast was served :20 minutes late on the second morning of my stay. The front desk person frantically stocked the food items but, was unable to start the toaster. No hot food was available in the time we had for breakfast. Having to work that morning it was most inconvenient. We did not have drinks at the upstairs bar as we had been there twice before and experienced dirty tables and poor/slow service even being one of the only few patrons there. When attempting to checkout at the front desk the person behind the front desk was engaged in a conversation and failed to recognize me as I attempted to get information on where she may want the wrist band keys.

Stayed at the Compass hotel from Tuesday May 12th and checked out Friday 15th. The reception staff were every friendly, helpful and professional.
Our room x 2 booked were immaculate,clean bed linin, well stocked with beautiful soft towels and nice toiletries in shower. Unfortunately I did notice a bit off mould in the corner of shower in one room , could of been cleaned better!
Pool is very small but lovely to sit by with comfy chairs. The pool men's bathroom was absolutely disgusting for 2 days and noticed others were complaining too, not good !!!!
We had Taco Tuesday by the pool , it was ok for $5 each. Visited the Rooftop bar on Thursday May 14th, it looked quite busy, we have visited before but this time wasnt the best, unfortunately had to find a server to have drinks, then had to find her again I belive her name was Cassidy, to order food this took over 40 mins to arrive and my order was wrong but had to take it because the first order took too long, the server never came back to ask if everything was ok or order drinks !
We will definitely be back with family again to Compass , nice and handy to walk to restaurants nearby and beach!

Hotel was great. Pool has sun from 9:30 to late afternoon. DJ at the pool on Saturday was a fun environment. Continental breakfast was pretty good for a free hotel breakfast. Great location and clean rooms. Lots of great bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Easy check in, staff very friendly and welcoming. Clean room and comfortable bed! Breakfast was good, working hard to keep up with demand.
Bar tender (young lady with dark hair) at pool, was on top of her game. There was a LARGE party there on Saturday and she never missed a beat!!
Could use more parking spaces but thats my only complaint. Within walking distance to several restaurants and ice cream shops. Waffle

We never moved vehicle until time to leave.

The hotel was fantastic for our getaway. The front staff was extremely helpful. We arrived early and ask if we could checkin. She was able to get us in our room right away. The breakfast was good. Our room was clean and housekeeping was very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Breakfast was good, laundry was good. Could have used more attendance to cleaning elevators and stairway corridors. Strangely, they checked us out a day earlier than what we were confirmed for. We found out after being away for the morning and our room keys didn’t work. They rebooked us for the next night but didn’t admit any error, apologize for inconvenience of charging my card prematurely or our keys not working as we had to rekey. I felt some insinuation that somehow it was my fault and their inconvenience. It was a bit strange and awkward but not a biggie.

My family had a wonderful four night stay at Compass. The hotel was new and very clean. The free breakfast buffet was good and fresh. Food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced with daily specials. The only thing this hotel is missing is a hot tub and a heated pool. We had one chilly day and although my girls were in the pool that day it was way too cold for me. We had a standard room with two beds and there was plenty of room for two adults and two children.

Flagler Beach is a total hidden gem! We loved lounging on the beach that was right across the street from Compass and eating at the different local eats. The Golden Lion, Whaam Burger, Next Store Beach Bistro, Beach Front Grille for Tuesday $5 dollar burger day with fries, Rocky's Pizzeria for delicious cheap slices (Try the Broccoli Cheddar slice!), Swillerbees for donuts and yummy lattes and The Waffle Cone for ice cream. Prices throughout the town were very reasonable and all the places we tried were delicious.

100% recommend this town if you are laid back beach people and just want to chill! My 11 year old daughters were content and didn't want to leave. We can't wait to visit again.

Breakfast was okay...only ever orange juice, never any apple juice or cranberry.. pastries were dry.. They did do a good job on the fresh fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese etc. I would suggest that maybe just getting different types of yogurt in small containers would be a better choice. Also skim milk or 2% as another option of milk along with the whole milk that was there. Also maybe changing up the menu... Instead of always having the same thing everyday. We did go out to another area restaurant for breakfast one morning for a change..

Room was clean and fresh. Very comfortable. Lots of storage. Staff was amazing. No issues at all. Love Giovanni (Miami) at the Chill Bar. Always a smile and wonderful service. Breakfast was ok. Most of the food was lukewarm, and there were many empty items, such as butter, silverware. Tables could have been cleaned up better too. But it was a good variety of food. Only other issue was when checking in, the live music at the pool area was too loud, drowned out the poor guy at the front desk (John), very hard to hear what he was telling us etc. Maybe put the music at the other end of pool area. The sound comes right into lobby from the bar and it is too loud for the small area. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

I basically stayed here for the location because I wanted to be across the street from the beach and I also love having a pool even in this weather. But I find the furniture in the rooms not to be very comfortable and I stayed on a Sunday night because the rates drop. Saturday night’s rates were ridiculous almost double of what I paid on Sunday. It’s not a resort. People come thinking it’s a resort. It’s a city hotel really that said. I felt like I had a great value for the price on a Sunday night and I would stay again. The staff is very friendly and helpful and everything you could possibly need is within walking distance.

first time during the week, it was pretty busy for during the week, but beautiful no matter what their location is phenomenal from everything to eat to the beach access to witness and the sunrises amazing and the sunsets zero complaints except a fire alarm went off in a room two down from us so apparently if one goes off it sets off some within the area so that was a little drawing waking up at 6:30 after going to bed at like 4 AM but nonetheless everything else was really perfect. No complaints. Food was delicious. Drinks were flowing.

This was a very unique hotel. Felt more upscale without feeling too fancy. The pool was a great size for my young daughter to play in. The only the NG I didn't like about the pool is the fact that it was connected to a bar and there were a ton of drunk people in the surrounding area but that honestly didn't bother me all that much because it was a weekend and the weather was perfect so I get it. The only thing is that I did not go to the restaurant in the hotel because of that resin alone, just more drunk people. We did enjoy the breakfast which had such an array of different foods. Everything was delicious. Also, it was within walking distance of any other restaurant in the area (even with small children!) very nice stay.

The ocean view is not really an ocean view. It’s overlooking A1A and is on the corner where there is a lot of traffic and noise. The hotel pool is small and cramped and not child friendly. I was pretty disappointed and expected more from a Jimmy Buffett hotel. The one in Orlando is much better.

This hotel has a fantastic location, a great vibe, great decor, lots of potential. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights. The Salty Rim restaurant and lounge area was nice but we had to clean a table off every time we went. The pool was so cold, it was unusable. The weather was unusually cold but they had no contingency plan for chilly spells, the answer was just to say \"it's chilly\". And we found out that the pool in a new property is unheated, definitely an oversight. Our housekeeping was our biggest concern. One room was serviced once and the other room zero. We ran out of toilet paper, kleenex, and towels in both rooms. We asked at the front desk and they called housekeeping but never really acknowledged us, just looking up when we came to the desk, heard us, made the call, and went on to other things. It was odd. Housekeeping came to our first room and handed us supplies to restock the room ourselves. In the second room, they left a new kleenex box beside the old one, towels on the unmade bed and walked past overflowing garbage pails left in plain sight. Having stayed at many margaritaville properties, we know this is not standard. Great location with a lot of potential if they can sort out the staffing and housekeeping issues.

Great stay with my dog. Walkable to beach and many small businesses. Be aware that Flagler Beach has specific areas where leashed pets are allowed on the beach. Also be aware of hotel pet limitations. At the time of my booking, only the deluxe rooms allowed pets. So in addition to the pet fee, you have to select a more expensive deluxe room. In the room descriptions, \"pets allowed\" will be listed under amenities of the individual room type on hotels.com.
