This was the worst hotel I have ever booked via the internet. First room that was assigned to us was not clean. The TV didn't work, and a pair of under ware were hanging on the back of the bathroom door. When I returned to the front desk to ask for a "functioning/clean room". The next room was just as unclean, no towels, but the TV worked, (somewhat). The remoted allowed us to use the volume and change the channel. There was no chambermaid service, we reused our towels more than once due to the front desk not having any clean towels available. The stay was horrendous.

The air conditioning mostly worked but you had to leave it on all day but it's Florida. So what do you expect? There were cockroaches there was mold on the curtains. There was mold in the bathtub. The sheets were soiled the mattresses were soiled. We had to buy our own sheets and pillows. The floors were disgusting. We were forced to stay in a hotel that we didn't even book because the original booking had closed. We were forced to pay a price that we had already paid because that was the note that was left by the manager. I won't be staying here again. I don't blame hotels.com but there was definitely some sort of communication issue between hotels.com and the hotel itself. Like I said, I had to pay twice

The Extended Stay IS NOT the extended stay. When I arrived, it is CLOSED. I had no emails from anyone giving me any kind of notice or direction as to how to proceed. there was a days inn close to this ghost hotel so i went in there and asked them about extended stay. they told me THEY could help me! i was given a room that did not have a security lock, smelled terrible and had rodent droppings in the bathroom. supposedly this was the only room they had due to activities in the area. i went out for a bit and upon my return when opening the front door, the door jamb came off the frame. i noticed the room right next to mine was empty so went to office to request a change which they granted. in the bathroom of the 2nd room, there was a hole above the light approximately 6” in diameter covered with a piece of paper and painters tape. there were no hotels with availability in the area due to bike week. when i checked out the following day and mentioned to the MOD all of the things that were wrong with that stay, she said NOTHING. handed me a receipt and smiled. DO NOT STAY HERE. repeated attempts to contact days inn have been unsuccessful.

What didn’t go wrong??? The reservation was made 10 days in advance and paid 10 days in advance. I arrive to the location and there is a line of only 2 people. It took me 45 minutes to finally get to the counter only to be told they never got the reservation and that they had no clean rooms available. This was at 4:45pm (not earlier than posted check in time). After about 40 minutes at the counter they move me to the days inn next door. Told me not to worry about different cost and to just go to my room and enjoy my day. Next morning I wake up to shower. No towels. They never answer the phone at this location. I am late for my event at this point so I pop in the office un-showered and request towels be delivered to the room for when I return later in the night. Upon return I come to find my key card not working! They locked me out for not paying a “balance due” which I was told not to worry about the previous day (least they can do for having me waiting an hour and a half to check in) we get that situated after 20 mins and I am told they have absolutely no towels! What hotel doesn’t have towels!!! I was beyond fed up at this point and did not stay the rest of my duration of the trip. I changed hotels. Also roaches in the room (I have pics) cracks in the walls and ceilings they were likely coming in from. Just an horrible experience overall and am currently waiting on a refund… if they answer the phone!!!

The blinds are cracked, have duct tape on them. Dirty walls and probably everything else. Constant noise of what sounds like a kid running back and forth above my room. This noise has been going on for 3+ hours with no signs of stopping.
No ice bucket but i had to go to the Inn next door to get ice.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The sheets had stains, dirty dog prints on them & cigarette burns, there was a blood colored substance on the floor,. There were holes in the wall. The floor was squishy from rot. A barking dog next door all night. Literally sprayed everything we took into the room with roach spray as soon as we left. Felt so unsafe!!!

The photos that are listed on the website are for the hotel next door. You check in there and they send you to the building next door which is extended stay. There were roaches everywhere. Bedbugs and filth. I went to front desk and asked for refund . Still haven’t received it yet. However, the young man working at the counter asked no ?’s when I asked to cancel. Walked into the room to strong odor of mold. Visual mold in cealing above front windows. Bed had holes burned through the covers and mattress from cigarette burns. Pillows were heavily stained inside pillow cases. Visual roaches moving and dead. Bathroom looks like it hasnt been cleaned since they built the place. Ac vent was hanging off the wall by tape and black mold around outlet. Ended up not staying and just left and chose to drive to another more well known hotel chain. Wouldnt allow an animal to sleep in that room.

They overbooked and cancelled our reservation and we didn’t now until we got there and the Expedia wanted to put us in other places worse than this one. Terrible terrible you should do better Expedia.
Wasn’t anything like you see when you book. Looks like half the place had people living there all the time, people riding bikes through the parking lot looking like they are casing new arrival cars.

Check in was delayed due to lack of staff. You could tell the team that was there was working hard to get the room ready. I went to my room walking past a dirty mattress and pile of sheets on the ground. When I got to my room I was greeted with a puddle of water on the floor and stained bedding. In addition to this there was a cockroach on my pillow. I decided to leave and promptly handed my key back to the front desk and found another place to stay. I understand it is a low cost hotel but how this place is allowed to be open is beyond me.

I booked for extended stay when I got there after traveling for over 16 hours the office door tells you to go over to days inn to check in. So I do that they give me a room in days inn. They never told me what time any thing was open till or opens at like pool or breakfast. Then I go to park late at night there is no spots near my room area so I drove down more I see a man standing outside with a pit bull he was smoking and fumbling around with his pockets. The lighting in the parking lot it self was not good I found a spot pull in. As I head to my room at eh top of the steps is a very large bag of trash just sitting in the way and 2 men are standing outside my door. I hurry in being by myself. Room was ok not the worst I have stayed in. The toilet paper holder was missing , I wanted to Shower no towels in my room look for the phone to call front desk no phone in room. So I call
With my cell phone to be told they had no towels for the night I can get some after 9 or 10 in the morning when house keeping is in. I got woken up a few times over the evening as people talking loud outside or people with loud cars sitting with radio on. I call back around 8.am just to double check on towels the man said they have no towels and then won't be any. The guest have them in their rooms . When I went over to the office to find out about breakfast at 8:45 they said it ends at 9 but had everything put away. Tables had bugs crawling on the bathroom was nasty no soap trash overflowing.

I booked at one property and when I go there, there was a sign on the door sending me to the hotel next door. The room I was given wasvery dirty, had only one working light in the room. Also, the bathroom had mold and the room was generally falling apart. There were zero towels in the room. Went to teh reception 3 times before someone slide 3 towels through a hole in the window at the FD desk. No hand towls, wash cloths, bath mat, just 3 towels. There were people walking and talking around the property all night. I couldn't call the FD because there was no phone. I don't know how to discribe the feeling of this place other than to say that I was shocked.

We came back to find other people in our room and our stuff was no where to be found and they couldn’t explain it. Thankfully the “stuff” appeared the next day. The lobby to check in is over at Days Inn. They should charge $19.99 a night, because you don't get anything in the room, there are no towels, no remote for TV, there are no lamps. Cable wire is cut, you can see the wires. Microwave stays on, therefore you have to unplug it. The smell of mildew and smoke is very unpleasant. The common area was dirty. Needs major improvement if they are charging those prices.

I stayed Friday night through Monday morning. At no point during that time were any towels available. I did receive a roll of toilet paper and a small bottle of shampoo and conditioner upon request, but that might have only been for the Days Inn next door, not sure. The surfaces appeared clean, but the floor had the soles of my feet black within 10 minutes of walking back and forth. I spotted one roach-type insect the first night and sprayed it, and saw none after. I did cough a lot, as I believe the really old a/c maybe had a dirty filter, but wasn't going to check that and make matters worse. The room was quiet for some of the time, but neighbors soon changed that. I believe that a large portion of guests are actually tenants here, so they were used to running, being loud etc, allowing their dog to bark nonstop. Breakfast is not included, but it did say coffee on the site. However, the only coffee available was next door at the Days Inn, next to the breakfast items, so be careful to not touch that stuff. I never tried the microwave, so can't say if that worked. The tv was grainy picture quality, and the minifridge was cold, but needed to be defrosted. The two different hotel clerks were very polite. No bedbugs, no cigarette smell. I did bring my own blankets, and avoided sleeping on the sheets, simply because of many reviews I read and I didn't want to chance anything. For the price, it met my needs of needing to just get away for a few days.

Too much smokers and bums and noise plus the room I book was both as advertised, no WiFi, no tv in the room when we did get a room that had a tv the remotes didn’t work the stay was just very uncomfortable. Also when asked for a remote for tv I was told that they will call the manager and see if they find one they will bring it or I wait until the next morning if maintenance comes in I would be given one. The worst possible place to stay

We stayed in room number 171 at the extended stay on US 1 in Ormond Florida. We got there and we were given a room with two double beds. I reserved one king bed. Our room was supposed to have a microwave a refrigerator and a coffee pot. The room only had a refrigerator. The shower curtain rod was quite literally a broom handle. There was no toilet paper holder rod only the two little plastic things sticking out of the wall that should have held the tube. There's a hole in the wall by one of the outlets there was no smoke detector. This location also does not have enough towels for the number of rooms that they have everyday we had to go up and ask for more towels twice we were told there were no towels so we had to go buy our own and carry them home with us. Two of the staff members were fairly pleasant there was one particular staff member who was just absolutely horrible and I refused to have to deal with her anymore after the first time I had asked for additional towels. They don't have staff to come clean the rooms take out the trash make the beds bring towels or toilet paper or anything like that. I do have pictures but the system won't let me upload them for some reason. If there is anywhere else for you to stay pick that place do not go to this extended stay it's not worth the money it's not comfortable and it's very tacky.

This place is a mess. It's dirty stinky and filthy it took them three rooms to find something for us to use it the toilet worked and wasn't filthy. Then they kept $100 deposit won't answer the phone and give excuses. I forgot to get it when I left so I'm simply made a phone call and now I'm getting hung up on and don't get my money back. The room was perfect when we left. For what a dirtbag place it is it was perfect I guess I can say. The Cockroach that crawled up the wall near the bathroom door in the morning when we woke up was a pleasant surprise. There was mold in the shower. If I don't get refunded my $100 I'll make a report to department of Business and professional regulation over unsafe environment. I've done it before so expect it to come your way if I don't get a phone call and you do something to fix this filthy place up. You have mold, roaches, it's a filthy environment and it's not safe. Toilets that don't work and full of nasty toilet paper and then you argue with people to get a different room. I want my $100 refund back or you're going to get a visit from the state. This place is a filthy nasty mess do not go there. The people that work there are rude and ignorant. Especially the lady behind the counter that thinks she knows everything and sends you to a nasty room telling you the doors work when they don't. It's just a terrible filthy nasty place to stay with a bunch of dirt bags that run it and they'll keep your deposit and not answer their phone.

The ladies who work here are amazing. I am so grateful for their wonderful customer service ( don't really see much of that these day) patience. They are friendly and welcoming even after having to take a barrage of abuse from the guest checking in before us. The hotel is comfortable and clean but noisy as it is next to the highway.

The check in process too a while with only 1 person at the desk. She was nice but very frustrated. There were many people waiting to get new keys bc they couldn't get into their room(they didn't know how to open their door). I get to the desk, got my key and went to my room. Got into the room and none of the lights worked, not even the bathroom light. There were lamps with no bulbs. Only thing that worked was the ac unit. Went back to the desk and there were more people having issues. I got a second room on the days Inn side. She said it was better than the last... well it wasn't. All the lights worked.. ac worked.. but there was no tv. I called her and she asked me if there was a tv in the other room I had. I told her I think so.. and she said she's getting that tv and bringing it to me... and she did.. got relaxed and started walking around... I had to wash my feet just to get into bed. The floor was disgusting.. super dirty. Also the pillows looked super old and they were uncomfortable. Please don't waste your time here. If I could have canceled and got my money back I definitely would have. ** $100 deposit on all rooms is a bit excessive...

The property was disgusting, the shelves on the tv stand were hanging and busted, blood in the toilet and on the floor by the beds. Black mold on the walls we walked in and walked back out it was horrendous. It smelled of cigarettes and mildew, the blinds were busted no privacy. Fue un desastre, separe ese hotel y nos hospedaron en el days inn ya Que no había nadie en el extended para hacernos el check inn, luego no querían ,decían que teníamos que contactarnos con ustedes ,que ellos no podían cobrar ,,me comuniqué con ustedes y muy amablemente Pedro me orientó ,la muchacha del hotel no quiso hablar con Pedro ,se negaba ,no fue hasta q llegó la manager ,le explicamos la situación y accedió a cobrar , pero nos hospedaron en el days inn ,la limpieza no estaba tan mal ,lo único que no me gustó fueron las sábanas de la cama ,muy finitas y manchadas ,reservar con ustedes fue tan fácil ,pero hacer check inn en el hotel fue horrible

Safety-
There was little children (under 5) play and jumping the steps when we arrived. No parents around. People drinking alcohol and smoking Marijuana on the balcony in the open. There was whistles and cat calls at my wife from some sketchy looking guys.

Broken- missing bulbs from lamps. TV remote did not work nor was there a power button on the tv. The place smelled poorly like body oder.

I refused to pay the wanting price for the room for such horrid conditions- so we left within 15min of check-in and demanded refund to our account.

Smoke detector was detached from wall, kept smelling cigarette smoke during the night, our key card worked when it wanted we had to insert the card like 6 times for it to unlock the door... we had one roll of toilet paper, 1 towel, when we asked for another towel, they were in the dryer and never brought to our room when they were dry, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, there was gooey stuff thrown on the ceiling above the sink, one light working above the sink, no remote for the tv, which we were out most of the time so really didnt need a remote, the a/c worked great, shower was great as well as the bed was comfy, but definitely did not match photos online and we will not be staying there again or at the daysinn as we had friend who had bad experience there as well...

Took 10 swipes to get a green light tobopen the door, had to push the jammed door. Flooring was comming up and had mildew under it. Electric outlet not covered, wall picture was on the floor. 2 towel racks and tp holder was missing. No trash can. Only one bath towel for 2 guest. Shower handle detached.

The name Extended stay implied it was the chain of hotels that are nice. This was a run down motel with sheets over some windows and broken down cars in parking lot with run down facilities and using an adjacent days inn as it's lobby

I was advised by a hotel representative that I had a reservation but no room available and that I needed to speak with Expedia for a solution. I requested to speak to a manager and was told to call in the morning. I arrived at 11:30 PM with a Paid Non refundable reservation.

I did not stay in the Extended Stay. I had to check-in at the Days Inn where they gave me a room and I stayed for 3 nights. The front staff said I couldn't get breakfast because I booked Extended Stay initially. The Days Inn was not the best either. I'd give it 2 stars. I didn't intend to book Extended Stay, I thought I booked Extended Stay America in Ormond Beach. Unfortunately my reservation was non-refundable so I couldn't afford to cancel. Will not book again.

This property needs to be demolished! It was absolutely beyond dirty and disgusting. When we got to our room and open the door, the room was dirty and disgusting. Someone did not go in and clean after the previous customer used it. Trash was still all over the room. AC was not working, blind was all broken and the room stinks. This property is totally dilapidated. Would not recommend this property just for health reason.

Looked at Four different rooms to find one somewhat ready for occupancy. 1st room had half the blinds broken, overhead light not working, who knows what else. Next one, had one of the 2 beds with the mattress on the floor, no box spring, we went on to the third room. It along with the first two, also had no towels or covers on the beds.
Last room had covers, but far from being anything like Orbitz showed on the website.

Do not stay here. I just needed to rest for a few hours before a 16 hour drive. The floor was peeling off. The door would not lock as the metal door jamb had been cut out. I used the table in the room to secure the door. The beds only had sheets and were pushed sideways against the wall. The toilet would not completely flush. Families with young kids lived in this hotel as the were hanging outside there units. The only good thing was the hot water worked.

Sign said checkin at Days Inn after 11pm, but no on at Days Inn showed up for the night shift and had to sleep in car while others stood outside in the cold until early morning. Room 151 was trashed…broken window blinds didn’t cover window, locks and deadbolt didn’t latch, large holes in drywall plugged with plastic bags, exposed 120V wire terminals from A/C on floor, TV doesn’t work, internet doesn’t work, hardwood vinyl flooring was torn up. Requested a move to a new room and that one was a little better, but it smelled bad because there was wet dog food spilled in the A/C register. I asked maid to clean room, but she responded that it was her first day and she was going to quit. Website photos show curtains and a clean exterior and interior. However, those photos are severely outdated and misleading. The property is in a state of disrepair. I believe the property is suffering from lack of help with help wanted signs posted. I think the staff is doing what they can, so issues need to be escalated. Going rate should be $29/nt but I was charged $144/nt.

The place was not what it said it was. Dirty fridge the beds didn’t align and there were burn marks in the bedding. People pay to live here. The smell of pot was horrible in the evening.
