Elevators are always broken. They said our room was ready but when we got to it, it was not. We didn’t have towels, the floor was dirty. They need to upgrade pool deck and have more umbrellas. The view is beautiful. Oh also the smoke detector in our room kept going off everytime someone showered.

The room was relatively clean. I mean nothing is ever perfect but it wasn’t horrible. For the price, I felt it was worth it. It isn’t the Four Seasons and things are outdated in many areas and you have to be willing to adjust. But, if you just want a place right on the beach with an ocean view for a decent price, then this may be a good fit. I really like that they have a full fridge and kitchen like area to be able to make basic stuff. There is some basic privacy if you have overnight guests with separation between the main bedroom and the living room like area with the pullout bed. they try and were willing to help with extra towels and blankets and things on request. I’d say go if you want a good price and a decent experience.

First time staying here. Definitely an easy, smooth and fast check in and check out. Staff members were nice and helpful. Security guard on site all night. Clean and secure location. Access to gym. Decent size parking lot. Laundry mat on site $1.75 per load. On the beach. Community size pool, kitty pool and a jacuzzi. Out door grills available. Power did go off though for about 15-30 mins. Other than that probably will be staying again.

We had a great time during our stay at The Maverick Resort! Danielle checked me in, she is super nice, sweet and personable. Our room was nice, clean, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy a few days at the beach. The AC was super cold and the water in the bathroom was extremely hot and had good pressure. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The view was awesome, everyone has a beach view at the Maverick! We saw dolphins from our balcony 2 mornings! The pool and hot tub were both large and refreshing. Lots of families staying here, so if a bunch of kids running around annoys you this may not be the place to stay. I took away 1 star because the elevators weren't working for over half our stay... They would get them working and then they'd be down again a few hours later or the next morning. If you're disabled or elderly and cant take the stairs this could be a major problem.

Got room for one night at a great rate. Right on the beach with great views. Close to short drive to restaurant/shopping options. Nice pool and beach access. No property bar or restaurant. Older property in the process of rehab to join Grand Vacations (time share?) Rehab is “paint the pig”. Nice enough but not all elements covered. For instance, vanity in bath was resided but not repaired. Thoughtful kitchen and bedding options but refrigerator was old and dented next to new counter?
Again, for the price, if you don’t care about a little rundown, great value

Down sides: Timeshare meeting pitch before being able to get a parking pass at check in. Elevators not able to handle the number of guests, and being down frequently. In room Air Conditioning not positioned to keep entire room cooled due to the divide between bedroom and couch/kichen area.

Upsides: Pleasant and friendly staff interactions who were quick to address needs like pluming issues. Great location! Clean pool and beach access.

As soon as we arrived the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Every employee that we encountered was very nice from the front desk, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance, and went out of their way to meet our needs. The room was clean and smelled fresh, and was exactly as pictured on the website. Having the small kitchen was great, we brought our own food and never left the resort.
The pool area was very clean and well maintained, and the pool was large enough to accommodate all the guests. There were plenty of chairs and sun loungers. The hot tub was amazing in the evening, a perfect way to relax after a day on the beach. The beach was clean and not crowded, our family enjoyed it immensely.
I would highly recommend the Maverick Resort to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price. It was perfect!

Great for the price, only issue that we had was that there was only 1 working (and no a/c) elevator for the entire building (including service). The pool gets nasty on the weekends from having so many people, but I imagine that's an issue at every pool on the beach. Definitely worth the stay. The staff are all very nice :)

Beach view was amazing, the pool deck had great avaliablility, easy access to the beach and pool. Parking was easy. Elevators took long, only 1 avaliable. Food choices around we're great for all occasions. Room was spacious, couch was comfortable. Kitchen had a coffee maker but no filters and not much variety to have or make coffee. Had a sink and cups and plates but no dish detergent wash them. No ice bucket and no one to tell me where it was if there were any available. Room was hard to get colds because the AC unit in the master room where it was not able to flow into other rooms. Hotel wasn't the greatest, rather the cove in ormond and cant wait to book there again after pool is finished.

I have stayed here in the past and loved this place for its coziness and atmosphere. I only stayed one night since they have reopened, and I did not feel like it was that cozy atmosphere. To start with I felt like it was a burden for me to be there during check in. the room was clean, but the floors were buckled and I just did not get that comfortable cozy feel that I have felt in the past stays. I will give it another try due to the fact that me and multiple family members will be here in later part of year for a few nights. I also would like to say my check out was much nicer.

Been to many hotels in daytona beach area and this place is by far the best Ive ever been to. Im a creature of habit and stayed at one hotel for a long time and since coming to this resort by chance I will never not stay here. Everything is beyond what you could expect for a hotel especially for the price. The rooms are perfect for everything you could need especially the beach view while you lay in bed. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. If you are going to the daytona/ Ormond area you should definitely stay here!

Very spacious rooms, clean establishment where pool, hot tub, grills, and patio are cleaned every morning. Very close to stores and things like putt putt golf and boardwalk area. I appreciated being able to walk to everything. If walking isn't your thing right across the street you can rent a golf cart or ebikes. I would recommend this place to anyone and already have to friends.

The room was clean, the room was very cute and spacious . I loved the view and the amenities. The downside was that my phone didn’t work in the room to call reception, the receptionist was rude, no one helped me with obtaining a luggage carrier. I had to go find one in the side of the building by myself. You have to go downstairs and replenish your own towels and shampoo conditioner body bar. On top of this you have to clean your own room so no room service at all. The windows are in fact not sound proof and I’m assuming the building is under construction because there was no air conditioner when I arrived and one of the elevators malfunctioned on a guest.
I would recommend this place with all this in mind.

My friend also stayed there and she had her share of issues with the customer service being the main problem. The room amenities and view were beautiful! But for the price I don’t know if it was worth it

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Divi Dutch Village All-Inclusive. The room was very dirty upon arrival, and the bed was so old and worn out that it had noticeable body imprints, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep on.

The bathroom was unclean and poorly maintained. Our first-floor patio was constantly covered in bird droppings because the outdoor kitchen was located just a short distance away, and staff members regularly fed the birds. As a result, the area was infested with birds and bird waste, making it unpleasant to sit outside and enjoy the space.

The dining experience was equally disappointing. The restaurants at the resort were poor in both quality and service. Additionally, the coffee shop was advertised as being open from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., but it rarely followed that schedule. Most mornings it did not open until around 8:00 a.m., which was frustrating for guests expecting coffee earlier in the day.

Overall, the property felt neglected, unsanitary, and poorly managed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at Divi Dutch Village All-Inclusive.

The room wasn’t ready when they said it would be then when they said it was ready they gave us the key and the housekeepers had just got inside it so we still had to stand outside the room and wait an additional 30 minutes for them to get done, the floor was very dirty , you had to pull the refrigerator out to open the door other wise you couldn’t get drawers and shelves to work, not enough parking the spots got filled so you had to park in the fire lanes in order to park, we will not stay at the Maverick again

Beach view was great, Deluxe room was not as advertised but we made it work. Bathroom had pedestal sink not vanity, microwave sat on tiny kitchen table leaving hardly any room to eat, no divider to separate bed from common area, no kitchen steak knives but they brought us one. They just reopened in Dec2025 so still working out some stuff that needs done. Staff was all very friendly & it was clean. Good enough for price.

i looked at all the pictures & read all the reviews & i decided to book .This is not a resort it is most definitely a motel ,Room was dirty upon check in ,like really dirty ,people at the front desk are very rude & I did not feel comfortable about going to them about the dirty room ,so i cleaned it my self ,they did not tell me about the towel exchange ,when if you need new towels you have to bring them to exchange yourself ,did not know there is a service to call for a beach chair and umbrella to put on the beach for you ,there is no restaurant there or any kind of room services ,also there was no place for us to park at night except across the street which which looked very sketchy ,the elevators hardly work ,smell and are very hot ,I asked for the lowest floor and they gave me the highest which is 7th floor so trust me I was sweating in that elevator ,on my last day there I finally spoke to a manager Jeremy and he was super nice & understanding ,only reason I would go back to that motel is to give him the benefit of the doubt of changing things for the better ....otherwise I would never go back

Soap provided in room for showers or hand washing is Very tiny and if you stay for more than a couple of days it will not last. Nice full sized refrigerator is a plus. Our price was higher than expected but we were unaware that there was a big concert \"Rockville\" in town when we booked.

The pool area was very nicely remodeled as was all the remodeling throughout the resort. We found the condo kitchen lacking in utensils and counter space. The bed was not exactly comfortable. Great view of the beach and a fully equipped kitchen. There was even a sofa bed and space to eat. The AC cooled well, only thing is that it did release a bit of dust as it operated. The staff was attentive and helpful whenever they were needed and the pool/hot tub area was also great. The access to the beach was very eay and the beach was private, so there werent that many people. There is plenty of parking which is great because its never an issue when you come back late (like if you are going to Rockville). Only con I can say of this place is that you can tell its slightly older, and not everything is super new. Cleanliness could be a bit better, but thats just because I am a bit of a clean freak. I would come again and would recommend this place.
