Conveniently located, beach access is nice, easy to get places. The room was filthy. Front desk made me wait next day for service. I asked to wipe everything down and vacuum. They just made the bed. The bed was clean. The showers had hot water. That’s all.

This place isn’t super modern, but it was perfect for a little Rockville trip. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it’s within walking distance of many great restaurants. I’ll definitely be booking again.

I have stayed here before and it’s been a better experience, but the room we were in the bed were very small for two people, I found paperwork and trash underneath the beds, the bathroom very tight, not a lot of room between the toilet and the sink. Also, you can tell it was not cleaned. There was garbage under on the floor.

The location fit my needs, but I don't think I would plan to stay here again. This is a very old hotel. The furniture was mismatched. Attempts were made to make the rooms look modern. Some staff were friendly, while others were not. I liked that the hotel was on the beach and they had a pool, but I didn't use it.

No early check-in, at time of check-in when they finally let us there was only one employee working with at least 25 people in line waiting to check in on a Saturday during a convention very understaffed. Our sink would not drain. The plug was broke. they only provided two towels for four people, and it was also loud and all the common areas smelled like marijuana. The only saving grace was the view and the location.

Our door didnt shut all the way, when questioned about it we were told that it is normal. Asked to change rooms because we didnt feel safe staying in that room, front desk guy actrd like it inconvenienced him, and then were charged $100 to do so. No elevator, rooms open to outside like a motel. Rooms were very humid and damp. Papers were damp. Plastic bed coverings were loud, bed sheet upside down. Dirty. Bathroom exhaust fan coverrd in dust. Lamps in room were covered in rust and dust. DIRTY!!!

Parking was tight at night rooms were poorly repaired from previous damage the bible in the room had the first page ripped out and had burn marks and it looks like someone nutted in the back of it im not religious but thats gross beds were stiff and uncomfortable ended up leaving at 2 am due to discomfort

The room was smelling bad when we arrived and the odor did not disappear. This room was not with the beach view but view on the parking. They do not clean the room if you do not ask. Internet was not working and we did not have any access code. Thankfully the staff was nice. But this hotel needs some fresh air as the odor in the room was horrible. They also charge 100$ for incidental that is returned to you one week later and not the same day as they said..

The hotel’s location was fantastic — just off the main beach road yet still right on the beach. You can’t beat the view or convenience. Unfortunately, the quality of the rooms was disappointing. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages, the shower walls were slimy, and the wooden floors were buckling from water damage. The TV didn’t work for regular cable channels, so we had to buy a streaming stick just to watch something.
There’s no daily cleaning or maid service, which might be fine for some, but it adds to the rundown feel. On the bright side, the price was great — especially during Daytona 500 weekend, when most hotels were charging way more.
Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly option if you’re mainly after location and cost savings. But if you want a clean, comfortable room and basic hotel amenities, you’ll want to stay elsewhere.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly. We stayed here for Biketober fest and it was packed. Definitely not a place you want to stay during an event if you want to get to bed early as many guests stayed up very late partying and the walls are very thin. Being it was packed for the event, parking was an absolute nightmare. The location is great, it’s off the main road on its own service type road. It’s also a very short walk to main st, the pier and many stores. The room seemed clean, but very outdated and had a moisture issue (something you’d expect at a beach hotel anyways). Our room had a tub/shower combo, the pull to use the shower part was broken and would not fully engage so water pressure was absolutely terrible, but it worked for our needs for a short period of time. In a pinch, we’d stay here again but definitely not our first pick.

It was oceanfront right next to the pool, but we stayed there a year ago and everything was fine this year in August. It was baby roaches in the bathroom one in the little fridge holes in the wall, and the floor was filthy like they never mopped it will not be staying there again With a big disappointment in the room.

The first room they gave us had carpet; I let them know I had allergies re carpet and showed the photo of the rooms with wood floors. They did move us to a room with no carpet. It is a good value for the location (no drive/traffic beach near the pier and next to a restaurant/bar). The room was fine; it’s a little dated but it was comfortable and had a small fridge, nice pool, etc. it’s in an amazing location.

Room smelled horrible, like low tide. The parking is bad - not enough spots for guests, VERY tiny spots, no overflow. Pillows were several years old. Bathroom had window that could be seen through to outside walkway. No fan in bathroom, so room stayed humid. No blackout curtains so you can’t sleep past 6:30am. A spindle was missing on outside balcony 2nd floor - a child could EASILY fit through (staff notified). Roach under bed, along with a used coffee cup. Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Noise level was crazy until past 2am - no quiet hours. Will not stay here again.

The room was dirty. It hadnt been deep cleaned in a long time. It was dusty the floor made the bottom of my feet black. The curtain was missing so the light came in every morning. There is not enough parking so you have to park away from your room. They even gave us a roll of tissue that had mildew on it. There was no direct beach access except for the \"beachfront rooms\" you had to walk around the building to the public beach walkway. For the $231 a night i paid for this place it was definitely not at all worth it. Did i mention the people sleeping on the beach next to it. The only positive the employees are really nice and the location.

Place seems rundown. We basically only needed a bed for the night so we didn’t want to pay too much. “Get what you pay for” but our room was still almost $200/night. Bathroom vanity was leaning/falling. Dirty qtips in corners. Parking lot was basically a party zone after dark. “Breakfast’ was prepackaged pastries and the juice and milk in the lobby mini fridge was room temp as the fridge didn’t seem on. If you basically just need a bed/toilet/locking doors for the night…it’ll do.

First, it is a dump, with the room reeking of mold that even blackens the bathroom grouting. But, my main issue was with its management. Our reservation was non-cancelable and was made through Expedia for payment at the end of our stay. Yet, hours before we left for Daytona Beach I received a call from someone calling from the front desk on “the owner’s instruction” demanding that I give him my credit card number so that he could immediately charge it for our stay there. He threatened to cancel the reservation if I did not give him the card number. This call had all the markings of a credit card scam, since no reputable hotel does such a thing. After telling him that I would call him back, I called the hotel’s phone number. It turned out not to be a credit card scam, for the same person answered the phone. Thus, despite this outrage, I gave him the card number. Perhaps the owner feared that when we saw the room, we would cancel and leave.
When we arrived at Sandals hours later, the check-in person requested to make a copy of my drivers license (what hotel does this?) She also insisted that we sign their list of rules and charged our credit card another $100 as a security deposit. After taking our license plate number, she gave us a small piece of paper for our windshield when parking IN THEIR OWN LOT. If it wasn’t displayed, they would have our car towed even though they could easily identify it as belonging to a guest from the license plate.

Simple hotel on the beach. Parking is crowded within the hotel. Easy access to the beach and boardwalk and close to main street for Bikeweek. Rooms are simple. No thrills in the rooms. Most of the lights in my room did not work, but then they would turn on in the middle of the night. The toilet ran constantly, the A/C rattled and was loud. The bathroom sink leaked onto the floor every time you turned on the faucet. The bathroom was not clean (hair all over, floor was dirty). I had to buy a pair of shower shoes because the bottom of my feet were filthy from walking on the floor.
