It was nice and comfy for the most part. Housekeeping was really good.
The air conditioning made strange noises.
The nightstand table wasn’t straight against the wall. I didn’t even want to keep my phone on it. The nightstand table looked dangerous to me, the way it attached to the wall.
There was confusion with their restaurant, Traders, from various staff members.
On arrival, the desk clerk informed me the restaurant on-site was available for Breakfast, lunch, and Dinner, and it remained open until 10 pm.
2 days later when I was approaching to get dinner at about 5 pm, an employee informed me Traders was only open for Breakfast due to renovations, and it was currently closed.
I had to get dinner elsewhere.
The hotel is in a great location, with a bus stop right in front and with restaurants and souvenir shops within walking distance.
I liked the pool area, and how I was able to sunbathe in a lounge chair and watch the ocean waves, without having to walk in cruddy sand.
Overall, I was glad I stayed there.

Hotel is older and is going through some remodeling but our room was clean, loved the layout for the king bed rooms. We had a city view and we could still get good views of the beach. The bed, OMG it was really comfortable! Hotel staff was friendly. Their pool is large so there is plenty of pool deck space. It was clean with plenty of tables and chairs but I can see where some improvements can be made around the pool deck area; shuffleboard is cracked and old sticks and discs; handicap lift chair wasn't working and was rusty (eye soar), some old pool handles, etc. around the fence (store elsewhere) just too large of an area not to show it off! The restaurant food was pretty good, add a pool server on weekends it would for sure boost revenue for the hotel which is an added bonus for the guests. The bartender / server was so sweet and stayed on top of things. We would stay here again. I can see just a few small changes too really boost their ratings!

it was a decent place for booking last minute however around 1:30 am we had to change rooms due there being a roach in the bed and on the wall, the front desk person said our options were to stay in the room and they clean it in the morning or change rooms , we changed rooms around 1:45 am and we’re not offered any discount because he said we changed rooms

I usually go for a hotel with an higher star rating but I really had a great time there this weekend celebrating my sister’s birthday! The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly; which I think spread on to the guests. And the the restaurant, Traders!! Was absolutely wonderful the entire stay, Nicola, the server/cook was gracious, polite and thorough. She greeted us with a smile no matter how busy she was .. she needs a raise!! She handle the floor as she was a staff of 5 .. and absolutely the best waffles I’ve had!!

I have to say this was one of the most best hotels i’ve stayed at while being in Daytona. The room was clean & really nice. Easy access to the beach & multiple restaurants and shopping stores walking distance. We got there a couple hours early but front desk gave us no issues to get are parking pass and park while we went to the beach. Def would recommend to anyone & i will be coming back! :)

Clerk was wonderful. We didn't care for the location of our room and he changed it immediately. Nice view of beach. Restaurant on proprty was less than desirable. Only six occupied tables and customers were ignored. Customers had to get up and get their own menus and tables were left dirty.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Overall, the stay wasn't bad. There is a view of the ocean from any room, which is nice. The staff was always cleaning, and the hotel was extremely clean. We were disappointed in the \"tiki hut\", which wasn't a hut at all, it's an inside restaurant/bar next to the pool. Unfortunately they closed at 11am each day while we were there, so we couldn't get food or drinks after 11am. If you're looking for a true outdoor \"tiki hut\", this isn't it.

Housekeeping 10+ Front desk staff 10+ for Parshan & Vivian professional & friendly and look great in uniform.Everything with this stay was great with exception to restaurant Traders. Checked in and stop by for a cocktail and there was no one, no bartender nor waitress. Not sure what was going on but we left and had great drinks at Crabby's Oceanside. Excellent.

Nice remodel after the hurricane; the Tiki Bar was never replaced. The rooms are nice and the A/C works well. It seems the refrigerators were scaled down, but again no real issue. The problem with this hotel, even years later, is the simple things they could get right. Not having an icemaker for the entire hotel? No excuse for this - only one of the two elevators working? These were the reasons I stopped staying here a couple years ago, and the fact that these simple things are not addressed speaks to the lax standards of the owners.

A decent place on the beach at a decent cost - too bad, because it could be a great hotel.

Parking was $8 per day not free at this Hotel, i guess that's the racket in Daytona, Hotel room was clean but needed some TLC i.e. the front door was broken had to slam it to close it, the sink wouldn't drain properly, lighting in the room was off not plugged in and wires were sticking out from the wall, the fridge was broken not working at all, the pool was not Heated, The Tiki Bar was gone umm The TIKI Inn is the name of the Hotel...,other than that Great one night stay.

Multiple problems with this property number one my air-conditioning didn’t work and I was not offered another room number two when I checked out and needed my receipt for reimbursement with my company. I did not get one. I am still waiting for a receipt so I can get reimbursement and I have still not gotten one very disappointed in this hotel and their proceedings will not be returning to this hotel

Somewhat rundown. $8 additional fee to park a vehicle in the lot which was not first disclosed, so off-putting. Also, breakfast is additional. Typical college spring break hotel. Noisy depending on other people staying and how late they swim in the pool. Very average.

Floor lamp did not work. Card reader stopped working after four days. Had to get it replaced. Roaches in room and bathroom. Had to keep clothes in suitcases. Coffee was not replaced each day. No “do not disturb “ sign was provided. Privacy lock on inside of door was broken.

Hotel itself was good, aside from the water pressure in the shower. We left a day early because we did not like the area we found it boring. $8 a day for parking and they make you wear a paper bracelet when on property (not into that AT ALL). Pool was freezing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a humidifier that I had to empty each day of our stay! It was full when we first arrived and was never emptied by the cleaning staff. Breakfast was supposed to be included but was not. We also had to pay for parking, which we were not made aware of until we arrived.

The maids were awesome and always there to clean the room and help with kid spills whenever needed. The maintenance guy was not only really friendly but there right away if you need anything, the rooms were all nice and clean, freshly updated beautiful views of ocean from all rooms.worth every penny. Easy access to beach, just walked down some stairs from the pool area and you are right there. very convenient with Kids having stove top full fridge iand freezer with microwave microwave. Really nice that there’s a 7-Eleven right across the street souvenir shop and IHOP for cheap good breakfast.

Check in starts at 4, stood in line for about 30 minutes before being handled. The guy was nice and compd the parking for the wait, but when I got into my assigned room after almost an hour wait, the room was not ready. The beds weren’t made, had to go back down and wait for another room. Pools aren’t heated so the water was freezing…. I did enjoy the DJ at the pool, but not the best place to stay for the money.

Great oceanfront property. Staff was always pleasant and very helpful. I can't say anything bad about the place other than there is nowhere to eat or drink in the area or in the hotel. The restaurant was closed the majority of the time we stayed there. Other than that it was a nice stay. Rooms were big and clean. Balcony over the pool and oceanviews.

The hotel and room were very clean. The staff were excellent. However, our room was 101, right next to the entrance/exit door. This door slams hard, constantly waking us up. I guess people don’t sleep, coming and going. So, we left early because we got 0 sleep.

We will never be staying here again. We had a rental car, they give you a pice of paper they call a parking pass to put on your dash. Well when your driving around and come back its easy to forget to put it back on your dash. We forgot had our car parked for 45 min to come out and see our car had ben towed. The front desk was no help. Infact they couldnt even tell us the number for the tow lot. Also the kitchnet in the room says it comes with dished but there was not one dish to use. Defeats the purpuse in paying extra for a room with a kitchen when you cant even use it.

Nothing worked, outside was dirty,
The minie fridge did not work, cofee pot did not work, toilet seat moved, bathroom door knob broken, the view was awful we asked for belcony and they gave us a room without a belcony.
The staf was not helpful all i heard is complain from the front desk women.
Will never stay at that awful hotel.

I had a terrible experience at the Best Western Daytona Beach and would not recommend staying here.

First, the overall cleanliness was extremely poor. The room was very dirty, and to make matters worse, there was blood on the sheets, which was shocking and unacceptable. The window had broken glass, making the room feel unsafe, and the TV was broken as well.

I also tried to use the laundry facilities, but both the washing machine and dryer were broken, which was very inconvenient during our stay.

Because of all the issues, had to move rooms three different times, and unfortunately each room had its own problems. After a while it became exhausting dealing with constant issues instead of being able to relax and enjoy the trip.

Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The property appears poorly maintained, and basic cleanliness and functionality should not be this hard to provide. I would strongly recommend looking at other options in Daytona Beach. 🚫🏨

The room was in good shape and nice and neat. My biggest issue is with the staff. We kept the do not disturb sign attached to the door. However, the staff kept coming in doing random things. They didn't respect our request. Then when they would come in, they would make A bed, or just put towels in bathroom. Like just a reason to come in. Would not even take the trash or refill coffee. Just random things to enter our room. Really bothered me since we had expensive things in there for our bike trip. Other than that, I would have rated it better. Oh and parking is not great

We saw a lot of bad reviews about this place, but we’re so glad we didn’t listen. Our room was super clean, and the staff was absolutely amazing — so much so that we ended up extending our stay.
The only downside is that the hotel could definitely use some serious updates. The exterior, in particular, could use a facelift.
That being said, the service more than made up for it. The gentleman working at night with the beard was extremely helpful, and the bar staff was fantastic. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay again.
