Breakfast was hot and tasty. The view from the 3rd floor balcony was great. But..
They can paint all they want..its still on older hotel.. carpet squares on the floor. No counter top in the bath just a pedestal sink and rusty short wire shelving.. this is not representative of the Hampton Inn's we are accustom to. There are too many other choices in the area. We wont be back.

We had a lovely stay here! The room was nice just needs a bit of maintenance (painting etc as was flaking off) Had beautiful sunrise views from our ocean view and was very peaceful.

The only thing that would have made it 5/5 is if the beach access was available so we could come straight back from the beach I know they’re working on this though. I also didn’t go in the pool even though I wanted to as it really didn’t look clean (little bits of rubbish , plant matter floating around) I also didn’t see anyone come to clean it in the morning like the pool at the hotel next to us. But overall we did have a nice stay and enjoyed it.

In general, we were happy with our stay. The room was clean and a good size and the beds were comfortable. Included breakfast is basic but was pretty good and fresh. There is construction going on but it didn't disturb us during our stay. Only issue we didn't like was there is not enough parking spaces. Had to park in overflow across the street or in the middle of the lot.

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The property is currently under construction, and it made the stay extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable.

The main entrance was barely usable, and parking was a nightmare. There are very limited spots, yet they still charge $15 for parking — even though the back lot is under construction and partially unusable (there’s even a massive hole that looks like a sinkhole).

Amenities were also unavailable. The beach access from the hotel was completely closed off with no clear explanation, and the jacuzzi was not only closed but visibly disgusting and green.

Cleanliness throughout the hotel was very poor. The hallways had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the room itself did not feel clean. On top of that, the AC barely worked, making it uncomfortable to sleep, and the elevators felt unsafe and unreliable.

Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. Between the construction, lack of amenities, poor cleanliness, and additional fees, this hotel is not worth it at all.

Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.

I recently stayed at this hotel for an overnight visit. Overall, it was a convenient place to stay, with very friendly staff, a nice beach view, and a good breakfast.

There were a few issues during my stay. The bathroom did not have hand soap, and there was no extra toilet paper provided. The pool was quite sandy both in the evening when we arrived (after 4 PM) and the following morning. It appeared that cleaning didn’t begin until around 11 AM, and the pool was also very cold, which made it difficult to enjoy. The balcony sliding door was very difficult to open and close.

Additionally, beach access from the pool area was unavailable due to a caved-in section of the back parking lot that was closed off. We had to walk a block to find an alternate walkway to the beach.

Despite these inconveniences, the hotel served its purpose well for a short stay. I already have another visit planned in about a month and look forward to seeing improvements.

Not enough parking, parking was roped off on the weekend. Walkway to beach was closed, had to walk down the road to reach the beach. Breakfast bar was plenty. Room cleaned not daily but if you asked they would have what you needed, soap, to. Refrigerator and microwave were on the floor, very difficult to use.

There’s not many spots, but they do have parking across the street… I did not like the fact that I paid almost $400 for 2 nights, and they charge for parking daily!

Excellent breakfast make your own waffles, hot egg and potatoes and sausages, staff was very helpful and attentive. excellent views even the ‘partial ocean view’ rooms. A great value in terms of location, size and accommodations. Only complaints were the construction going on, the hottub was down, there’s no shade or umbrellas by the pool, and the floors in the rooms need a serious deep clean, other than that it was perfect getaway and would be glad to stay here again.

Sower did not have any water pressure, and the shower drain was plugged up. was charged $15 a day for parking per room for 3 days. we had 2 rooms and only 1 car was charged $90. Explained that to them we only had 1 car we got ripped off. No access to beach. Hot tub was not in service.

When I first walked in, it smelled like gas or propane, some type of fuel I asked for a refund because I did not feel comfortable staying there with that odor. I was told at the front desk that it was too late to get a refund, which I think is fraudulent because when I booked it, I wasn’t in the presence of the hotel to smell that odor. I would’ve never booked a room there. And I nor any family member will ever book a room at a Hampton Inn again.

Check in was late and front desk kept saying it was housekeepings fault, got a room went up and the floor was wet and had to get a different room, elevator was broken so only one working and it took forever to get up and down from 8th floor, steps to beach closed even tho it looks like an easy fix.

Our only huge complaint was we rent two rooms for Bike Week, yet bikes were welcome but no parking was reserved for bikes as at every other hotel we’ve stayed at previously for Bike rallies. That was a huge disappointment as we were having to fight with limited parking in general then trying to maneuver the bikes in and out of the crowded car filled parking lot. One night our bikes with a few others only had parking available UNDER the balconies and we woke up to several spits on one bike and ashes on another! Also, there was no trailer parking on site which wasn’t specifically noted in the online description of hotel. The staff was all very friendly and breakfast was well. The beds were comfortable which was a huge plus. You can tell hotel is dated but didn’t expect much more it being right on the ocean.

The staff were great! I was in room 714 and the sliding glass door didn’t lock. This is a huge safety concern for families. In addition the lobby smelled heavily of natural gas. We were told that it was from the boiler or laundry room. Regardless, it’s not a great smell or first impression.

I wanted so badly to like this hotel but it is really a disaster right now. No pool, no beach access, limited parking.

Cigarette butts on the floor of our room when we arrived. My daughter got a rash from the sheets on night one. I am pretty sure they weren’t cleaned before we arrived.

We asked for our room to be cleaned every day and it was not cleaned once in 6 days. On days 4 & 5 I called twice a day. Finallysomeone came in took the trash and left more towels but didn’t take the pile of old ones or make the beds or anything else. So strange.

The Continental breakfast was supposed to be until 10 every day but food was not replaced after 8 or so. There was yogurt and fruit one day but not put out the rest of the days. The tea ran out the first day we were there and never replaced.

On checkin we were told there was a parking fee of $15/night even though this was not listed anywhere on Expedia. We asked for it to be waived due to the fact that the hotel amenities were all closed. They agreed and then charged us for it on checkout anyway. I have called twice to have it removed & it is still on my card. This made the hotel cost per night more expensive than some of the newer hotels that still had pools and beach access.

The only positive was front desk staff were nice and really seemed to want to help. KayC in particular checked on us and genuinely wanted to try and make our stay better, there was just no hope right now. What a mess of a Christmas trip. Never again.

The room was neglected. There was only one chair available, the room was dark and dank. Lights in bathroom, in the entry, and 2 very sad lights between the beds. The electrical outlets did not work properly and problems with the TV. Plus a $15 night fee for parking across the street, not on Hampton Inn property, plus an additional $10 a day for incidentals which is supposed to be refunded. The night clerk was not friendly and I think she managed to run-off a customer that was checking in at the same time I and my family were.
This is the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in many in the past 10 years traveling between OK and FL. Breakfast was lacking in several items including biscuits.
I will tell you honestly, if this had been the first time I stayed at a Hampton Inn, I would never give you a second change. It was that bad.

This was a perfectly adequate stay. We loved our balcony looking straight out onto the beach. The room looked clean enough but had kind of a wet-dog smell that made me concerned about mold. We weren't interested in the pool so no issues with it being closed though it was rather unsightly. Parking was limited but we did always find a spot. Staff were friendly and kind. We had no remote in our room so we called the front desk and they said they would \"send up a hosekeeper to check.\" After an hour we put out our do not disturb sign and just went to bed. The next day, I asked at the front desk and they just pulled out a remote from a drawer and gave it to me.... a bit annoying that thdy couldnt have done that the night before.
Breakfast was okay. Hot options included premade Western omelets and chicken sausage, nothing plainer such as scrambled eggs. There were hard boiled eggs available. Waffle maker was down.
Overall the stay didnt wow me but served the purpose. The only real complaint I had was the $15/day charge for parking. Come on. When you make a reservation at a hotel it is assumed that you will most likely arrive in a vehicle. And this wasn't off site parking, it was right on the hotel property. Spaces were limited due to construction, that was understandable. But a place to park your car should be considered one of the most basic amenities.
So as I said, adequate. But there are properties nearby that are comparably priced and I will probably try one of those next time.

The refrigerator didnt work, the hotel phone was dead and the toilet was plugged after 1st use. We swapped rooms. The phone didnt work, lamp didnt work and balcony door was hard to open and close. I was very disappointed. Not normal Hampton Inn quality to say the least.

The room was very nice, comfortable and had an excellent view. The only thing I could comment on considering our very brief stay is that the balcony door was very difficult to open and close and the toilet wouldn’t refill after flushing unless you removed the tank cover and tapped the fill valve. I’ve had to do that in my own home when an American Standard fill valve became worn out. Just a couple of mechanical tweaks

The fridge worked the first night and kept everything cold. So the second day we put $50 worth of food and drinks and the leftovers went bad from a nice restaurant. The parking price is rather steep. The shower was pressure was terrible. The sink had better pressure. The view was nice, the bed was comfortable, I felt safe, and it was clean. The staff was nice.

We have traveled extensively this past year and every Hampton in we stayed at had black and pink mold growing in the showers mostly. These molds are not good to breathe in the mold spores.
We never went to breakfast at the hotel so we can’t comment on it.
