I stayed at this hotel last night and it was one of the most disappointing and uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived after 9:30 p.m., and the first thing we noticed was the overwhelming smell of marijuana throughout the lobby and hallways. The coffee pots were sitting half‑full on the burners, giving off a burnt, sour smell that made me feel nauseated.

The first room we were assigned was directly to the left of the front desk. It had no window, only a sliding door facing the outdoor walkway by the stairs, and that door had been screwed shut. The room was extremely small, poorly maintained, and had burn marks on the nightstand that looked like someone had been smoking or using drugs in the room. The walls had stains, the smell was awful, and the space felt unsafe and unlivable.

When we asked to cancel, the receptionist told us we would not receive a refund. Instead, she offered an “upgrade” to an ocean‑view room for an additional $42. I went to check it, and it smelled exactly the same. Nothing about it felt like an upgrade.

After several back‑and‑forth conversations, we finally went to the room around 11 p.m., grabbed only part of our belongings, and left the hotel entirely by 7 a.m. because the conditions were that bad.

I do not recommend staying at this location. I’ve stayed at other Days Inn properties and had good experiences, but this one felt neglected, unkept, and unsafe.

I come often and noticed a complete staff makeover. Not as friendly and smiley as I remember, but they do their job. The hot tub was broken, and the front desk knew nothing of it, so hopefully next time I come, it's fixed. I was looking forward to using it this trip, so I was disappointed. Also, the coffee bar is sad. Last time I thought maybe it was a bad couple of days, but it has changed. Bring your own tea and creamer. Coffee was just fine and brews 24/7. But that's it- just coffee, hot water and sugar. I appreciate the convenience of this hotel and it is well-maintained for a beachfront property in it's price range, so nothing here is a deal breaker for someone like me.

The bed and linens are comfortable and feels like home. I frequently stay here and I thoroughly enjoy the property. Staff knows me by name and treats me with welcoming hospitality and kindness. From check in to settling in they make sure we are all set up.

I booked a partial ocean view room . I received a room with no view at all and a sealed shut sliding door that was a view of a walkway extra entrance to the building . People walking in at all times. Ceiling in one area was by door falling down. I thought since it was by Wyndham it would be a nice room for an overnight stay. I went to front desk to ask about switching or just canceling snd she gave me such an attitude. I stayed but never again. My experience doesn’t mean other rooms are not nice just what I experienced in mine

We were on the first floor with beach view; however, the view was obstructed due to the hot tub and guests right outside of our patio. Although I didn't initially feel safe, we were not bothered by anyone. The shower pressure was very good but the hotel in and of itself was very dated, such as lighting and outlets. The freezer kept our ice frozen in the ice bucket since there wasn't an insulated ice bucket with lid. The staff was very nice and helpful and please try High Tide Kitchen directly across the street, it's within walking distance. Overall, it was an average hotel, with a great staff!

Decent stay. Average amenities. The best part was the Oceanfront view! The location and view made everything else tolerable. My car was damaged in the parking lot and the manager reminded me that damages are not the responsibility of the property. (Signed agreement upon checkin) It looked like someone pulled the cover off my fog light. Thank God it wasn’t worse because my family drove from NYC so it would blow the budget to have to repair anything.

To make matters worse I accidentally left an expensive pair of sunglasses in the bathroom. I am absolutely certain of where I left them. By the time I realized and contacted the hotel right after my Uber had already left I was told nothing had been found. That response is extremely concerning and disappointing.

Overall this experience was frustrating and unacceptable. Between the lack of cleanliness and the handling of my lost item I will be escalating this issue to corporate.

Clean overall and clean room. Good location. Only problem is they don’t enforce their no smoking policy. People continually smoking on their balconies and blowing into our room. One other wierd thing is there’s no security swipes to get into the pool area or hotel. Anyone can walk right in. We even saw non guests from the beach using the pool. Housekeeping is really good and takes pride in their work.

Upon arrival waited to be checked in ..amount charged was definitely different then charged on Expedia website. Got room 601 view was amazing however vety dissatisfied with room conditions. Mould or appeared to look like mould on ceiling near balcony door along with mould or appeared to look like mould in bathroom ceiling. Room felt dirty . Only stayed 2 nights ..felt unsafe at hotel during stay. The pool was vandalized during stay . People at hotel visiting wrre obvious racist 🙄 absolutely unacceptable. Pool side loungers old dirty looking . Got rash all over body after using one while tanning. Worst hotel experience while visiting DAYTONA... i could go on and on but what difference will it make.. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER...do better !!

The staff was wonderful, friendly, outgoing and beyond kind and professional. All of them!! But the room was horrible. The room smelled strongly of urine. The carpet must have been the reason. We were very upset about the smell but there were no other rooms with an ocean front view available, so we opened the sliding glass door to air out the room and we soaked cotton balls in essential oil, leaving them around the room to mask the nauseating smell.

Usually great, but some unexpected minor changes were a little disappointing. They used to have a nice little coffee/tea bar area in the lobby. There was no tea and only that gross powder creamer in a canister. (They used to have a great tea selection and several coffemate or international single serve creamers-maybe they were just out?) Anyway starbucks is across the street, we just ran out quick and all was well. Also, some guy on the cleaning staff was standing in front of the elevator vacuuming when I was trying to exit with arms and shoulders loaded with heavy bags and items... He literally could not care less that he was standing in my way as I was trying to exit the elevator and I could have tripped on his vacuum cleaner cord as I shimmied by with all my bags. SMH. They used to have amazing staff all around. Front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, etc. I don't know who that guy was but he brought the 5 stars down. Also it looks like they are transitioning out of the old green deck loungers to new orange ones. Not a big deal but it wasn't a great look for the property.

Well, what can I say, I stayed here in September last year and was so impressed I stayed here again in march. I love this place, Daytona bike week was on and this place was an oasis in the absolute madness of bike week. The rooms overlooking the beach are a must have and so relaxing . I said before I’d be back and I will surely keep on coming.

The view is fantastic. The room is outdated. No way to cast from phone to tv for the kids. Very limited plugs for a family to charge devices. Hot tub was luke warm. AC didnt really work but since they only have layers of sheets and not blankets, it seemed appropriate. Clerk who checked me in was not very friendly and became obviously annoyed when I stated I was traveling with a service animal as my reservation also stated. Pool towels were not available and had to be gotten from the front desk each time. The best thing about it is the balcony view.

The room, outdated, sketchy plug-in behind couch, shower hot water handle fell off, the sliding glass door is in bad shape with frame in need of repairs. The sliding glass oor hard to open even harder to close with it feeling like its off track . When closing it squeaks loud enough to wake my ancestors.
