My family and i enjoy staying here often. The location is convenient and the area is also on the nicer side of the beach so less packed so very convenient for those with littles. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have no problem accommodating if a problem were to arise. The pool is great and there’s beach access. Breakfast and coffee in the mornings always a plus. This will be our go-to stay moving forward.

We were excited when we got there. The desk staff was happy and professional. We stayed two nights. The first night we had multiple types of roaches in the bathroom. Maintenance came and sprayed for bugs. We thought all would be well but the second night was much worse. On checking out I told them and not even much of an apology for the disgusting experience. The hotel needs some updates, but other than that, the rest of the experience was OK. Being right on the beach was so convenient for our needs. And it was close to lots of restaurants and easy access to mainland.

We booked this on a whim for a quick three day getaway and will definitely come again!
All of the rooms seemed to be recently updated. The bathrooms were a little dated and in need of some TLC.
The staff were amazing! Helpful, affable, and quick to provide anything we needed.
The location was good; right on the beach with a pool and hot tub.
The tiki bar, while available for sitting under the shade (or to shelter from the daily storms) was not a functioning bar.
Having said all that, the stay was worth the money and if they keep updating things, it will really be a nice modern place.

This hotel is extremely overpriced, you are definitely paying for the ocean view, which is amazing. The hotel has roaches and is very poorly maintained. The beds are not very comfortable. Also women at the front desk are very unfriendly, the male staff are very friendly, polite and helpful.

Upon arrival there were several bus loads of kids for an ROTC comp in Daytona. (Should have been disclosed) Could not access the hot tub or pool due to the amount of teens horseing around everywhere. Our room was located on a floor with hall monitors so we went out for the evening. The tiki was not open(also was not disclosed at booking)towles were limited and the shower/tub drain was clogged with hair. We spend most of the weekend walking the beach instead of using the already crowded facility

Beds were comfortable, AC worked great, shower had great water pressure. Room was definitely dated but it was oceanfront and the above made it worth the value. Great beach access. Great location for various restaurants. Pool, hot tub and rooms all need a deep thorough cleaning. Walls must be paper thin because we heard every word our neighbors said and when they moved around. We had stayed here before and would definitely stay again. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.

I had to get up very early for an excursion. It was 3 am, i went down lobby and try to get some coffee. Everything was set up just, could of made a pot real quick. This hotel needs some serious attention. Overall needs to be upgraded. Pool is nice but the pool area needs attention. Bathrooms are outdated, tub and toilet needs to be rechalked. Good location and price is right if you just need a place to sleep. Otherwise don’t expect this to be a resort type hotel.

From the pictures you would think this was a pretty decent hotel, once you arrive you are quickly shown other wise. From the beginning,
the staff at the front desk aren’t friendly at all, to then go upstairs to our room that is very old and not up to date with pictures. The linen on the bed was so dirty and had stuff all over it. Of course we ask for our bed to be changed and the staff at the desk prompted “she would see if we have any extra bedding” and then proceeded to tell US to change our own bedding and bring the dirty linen back down when done. This same staff proceeded to make a comment on my friends ankles and feet “that they are so swollen and fat” and elaborate on that irrelevant topic that had nothing to do with her and some things you keep to yourself. Over all the stay was horrible, the staff aren’t friendly, they act as if you’re inconveniencing them when myself is the one being inconvenienced. You are supposed to come here for a vacation, not unfriendly staff and a horrible stay. Do not recommend. Just pay the $20 extra a night to stay at holiday inn or somewhere that is a lot nicer and have friendly staff.

The staff and view were more than amazing. I had an issue staff handled it immediately. The downside is there needs to be serious renovations... The game room is 3 extremely old games; breakfast nook is extremely cramped and small and I got expired food so I opted not to eat there. Also the sliding door lock on my room did not work and the gaps in the doors let's in lots of sound. The room however was well cleaned and the hotel is perfect location.

I was excited to stay here but was definitely a little disappointed. The rooms were definitely very dingy and the bedspread on the bed was lumpy and super old. The hottub was luke warm which was a bummer because I was excited to use that in the evening and we couldn’t even stay long because we were freezing. Also the fire pits don’t work which they looked like they did in the pics. Location was great of course so no complaints with that though.

Don't count on the tiki bar. Its advertised but not being used. There was 2 elevators but only 1 working. The rooms are outdated. The blanket had lumps in it. I requested a higher level and only got to 3rd floor. Was not willing to allow me to wait for a room to be cleaned. There is no breakfast as advertised. Only muffins and cereal. If you looking for a 2 star hotel this is it. Pictures dont match hotel. I paid $25 more the next night to stay at the Hilton. Definitely not worth the price.

Although I knew I was booking a 3-star hotel, and I have paid $250–350 per night at other hotels before, this time I was just looking for a quick place to stay overnight in Daytona during Memorial Weekend. However, this hotel, where I paid $170 per night, was very disappointing.

The facilities are clearly not being maintained. The lobby and game room areas are dirty, and the pool area looks neglected. The pool bar is not working and appears completely abandoned.

The rooms themselves were clean, but the towels were extremely small, almost like children’s towels.

It is a shame that a hotel with such a beautiful ocean view does not invest in its property or at least provide the minimum standards that would make guests want to return.

I will not be coming back.

Couple fighting in the room next door waking us up in the middle of the night. Went to call the front desk and phones are not working. Had to go down stairs to tell the staff at the front desk who was rude and said to calm down go back to our Room. Cops were called and showed up to remedy the situation. Website says there is a restaurant/bar. They do not have either.

0 stars. This hotel was absolutely disgusting and nothing like the pictures online. The photos are extremely misleading and make the property look clean, updated, and well maintained when in reality it is the complete opposite. The entire hotel seriously needs to be remodeled from top to bottom.

When we arrived, the room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly. There was hair still left in the tub, the bathroom was filthy, and the overall condition of the room made us uncomfortable the moment we walked in. To make things even worse, we saw roaches inside our room during our stay. No paying customer should ever have to deal with that.

The outside amenities were just as bad. The jacuzzi water was green, which is completely unacceptable, and the pool had brown stains all around it that made it look unsanitary and poorly maintained. It honestly looked like nobody takes care of this property at all.

I paid for a clean and comfortable experience, not a dirty room and unsafe conditions. Hotels should at the very least provide cleanliness, and this place failed horribly. Management needs to stop using misleading photos and invest in actually fixing and cleaning the property instead of pretending it looks better online than it really does.

I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

From the moment you walk in the staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. After a nightmare stay at another local hotel I had to book this stay emergently and they made everything smooth and we’re able to allow me to check in early. The amenities at the resort while a little outdated are perfect. There is a game room a tiki bar. You can sit with friends and family at a hot tub and a pool and direct beach access. What else could you ask for? Well a room with pretty comfortable beds plenty of fresh towels, a kitchenette, full-size fridge and microwave. I wasn’t expecting that, but it was very welcomed.

All really good, the only bad thing was the Receptionist during the night shift, my husband and I wanted to go to the beach to see the sunrise in the early morning (around 6 am), we kindly asked the lady and in a very poor way she said “Right and then left”, there was 2 doors on the right so we “by mistake because it was our first time there” took the incorrect one, so when we were back she talked to us with a really bad attitude saying “Which part of right and then left you don’t understand?” SUPER RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Details like these are the ones that can ruin the entire experience. The hotel was nice but I would never be back if someone that is in charge of provide you help acts like you are trash.

Our complimentary breakfast was very nice. The coffee was outstanding,had to have a second cup everyday! May I make one suggestion here ,is to add a non sweetened item like the cereal can be Cheerios or shredies for us diabetics out there. Staff is amazing from the front desk to the room maids even the handy man we're all so happy and joyful everyday.love love love their true enthusiasm for their jobs. Made the trip that much better.
We didn't go in the hot tub but lots were enjoying both pool and tub ,very clean.lots of beach chairs to be had and a tiki bar ,it was not opened in service while we were there. Very dirty ~ checked in and my room was not even clean and it was 11:45 PM. The sheets were off the bed & pillows on the floor, TV was on and the bathroom was disgusting. They put me in a temporary room overnight then I had to move my stuff again back to the original room after it was cleaned the following day. They did not offer any discount or anything. The pullout couch had filthy & stained sheets on it even the next evening. The rooms smelled and the bathrooms had mildew everywhere.

The pool had dirt all over the bottom & was not heated despite what the sign says out front. The front desk staff at check in were rude & very unpleasant. I would NOT recommend staying here.

The hot tub was cool (heat didn't work right). Shower was broken. Almost pulled the spout off to get the shower tab to pull up. Mold in the bathroom. Fan in the bathroom didn't work (clogged full of stuff) so the bathroom was humid all the time and the smell couldn't go up the vent. Probably why there was rust around the toilet handle and base. Toilet moved when we sat on it. Needed a new mattress for sure (it was king) and was lumpy. The wire was almost coming through around the rim of the bed.
We paid for an ocean room. The main advantage is the size of the room. The staff was friendly.

Emerald Shores Resort was a great place for my recent stay! The room was perfect for a short visit—clean, comfortable, and just what I needed. The location was incredibly convenient, especially being so close to the cheer competition I was attending. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the owner. Checked out today. My room was fine, clean and comfortable if a bit dated. Had coffee packets, but no coffee maker, lol. Unfortunately I was next to the elevator in an alcove room with a garbage can blocking the door, so I listened to the elevator rumble and people talking loudly while waiting for it, for 4 nights.

That was less of a problem than the other residents of the 6th floor, who I assume were in town for a cheerleading convention and thought the entire 6th floor was theirs. I spent 4 days listening to them shriek and yell from room to room, opening the hall doors to yell to other rooms and slamming the doors again and again and again and again. All night. I complained to the front desk and heard someone come up and speak to them, but they started right back up minutes later. I had to open my door at 1am and YELL for them to pipe down. They did not care.

The beach access was nice, as was the pool area. I stayed there specifically for the beach and hot tub (I have a leg injury) and the hot tub was too cold to use from Wed til Saturday when it was just above lukewarm enough to use for a little while.

I honestly feel bad saying anything negative because the staff were all nice, lovely and apologetic, but for what I paid I expected to at least be able to sleep without being awakened nonstop and a hot tub that needs help.

Will likely stay at Bahama House again next trip (I have family in DB and am here a few times a year).

Room and view were great. This is our 2nd time staying here a year apart and the hot tub still is not heated. The only time it is warm is during the day when the sun hits it. We had hopes it would be fixed, but no. However you can't beat the location or view. Breakfast is lackluster, but not the reason we booked with them. Make sure to book with Hotels.com, as we tried to add another night directly with them and they charge quite a bit more if you book directly through the hotel. Also water pressure and hot showers aren't the best if you try to shower during peak times in the mornings.

We never used the internet. The hot tub was cool and never got any warmer. The shower was lacking. We couldn't get warm water in the shower the first night and when the water was warmer the shower had No water pressure. Mark was great. Older motel in need of updating , but the staff couldn't have been nicer

Walls were thin so could easily hear doors slamming and people yelling. Staff worked hard to get people to stop smoking pot. Breakfast was minimal. Fridge covered in rust.

The pictures look a lot nicer then it is…definitely needs updated…tiki bar is not a bar…Fire pits they said were seasonal and wouldn’t turn on/pool not heated….rooms need updated majorly…

Positives: balcony room, facing the ocean, the view and location are perfect. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

Cons: fridge was disgusting and smelly - we couldn’t use it, the general smell of the hotel was disgusting. There were carpets in the hallways. Lots of weed smoking happening (

Comfortable beds, overlooks ocean, wouldn't want to cook in the \"kitchen\" area, building needs to be updated, would stay there again.

The rooms were good. Bed needs updated. I woke up so sore plus it caved in the middle. Staff were good. I left a item behind but they retrieved it and that i am thankful for.
