All really good, the only bad thing was the Receptionist during the night shift, my husband and I wanted to go to the beach to see the sunrise in the early morning (around 6 am), we kindly asked the lady and in a very poor way she said “Right and then left”, there was 2 doors on the right so we “by mistake because it was our first time there” took the incorrect one, so when we were back she talked to us with a really bad attitude saying “Which part of right and then left you don’t understand?” SUPER RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Details like these are the ones that can ruin the entire experience. The hotel was nice but I would never be back if someone that is in charge of provide you help acts like you are trash.

The hot tub and the pool was COLD. I told the staff but they didn’t seem concerned. The linen smelled like bleach but was different variations of the color white. The refrigerator door was full of rust. Found one dead baby roach in the bathroom. Only one outlet worked so you had to unplug the fridge to use the microwave. The Pac-Man machine was turned on but wouldn’t accept any coins. The price and location was a plus.

Room 702.terrific beds lots of comfy pillows. It would have been nice to have the TV on a swivel mount so we could sit at the table and watch the tv.the panoramic views from the furnished balcony was very enjoyable.
Our complimentary breakfast was very nice. The coffee was outstanding,had to have a second cup everyday! May I make one suggestion here ,is to add a non sweetened item like the cereal can be Cheerios or shredies for us diabetics out there. Staff is amazing from the front desk to the room maids even the handy man we're all so happy and joyful everyday.love love love their true enthusiasm for their jobs. Made the trip that much better.
We didn't go in the hot tub but lots were enjoying both pool and tub ,very clean.lots of beach chairs to be had and a tiki bar ,it was not opened in service while we were there. I'm going to book a visit when it is open. I wished there was umbrellas for the tables. Access to the beach was clean and safe .walk on beach .

I stayed in a lot of hotels that were not a known name brand in Daytona on the beach and this one is by far the best. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, and the hot tub and pool are great. The staff is professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for great amenities and beautiful sunrises.

Very dirty ~ checked in and my room was not even clean and it was 11:45 PM. The sheets were off the bed & pillows on the floor, TV was on and the bathroom was disgusting. They put me in a temporary room overnight then I had to move my stuff again back to the original room after it was cleaned the following day. They did not offer any discount or anything. The pullout couch had filthy & stained sheets on it even the next evening. The rooms smelled and the bathrooms had mildew everywhere.

The pool had dirt all over the bottom & was not heated despite what the sign says out front. The front desk staff at check in were rude & very unpleasant. I would NOT recommend staying here.

The hot tub was cool (heat didn't work right). Shower was broken. Almost pulled the spout off to get the shower tab to pull up. Mold in the bathroom. Fan in the bathroom didn't work (clogged full of stuff) so the bathroom was humid all the time and the smell couldn't go up the vent. Probably why there was rust around the toilet handle and base. Toilet moved when we sat on it. Needed a new mattress for sure (it was king) and was lumpy. The wire was almost coming through around the rim of the bed.
We paid for an ocean room. The main advantage is the size of the room. The staff was friendly.

The staff is amazing. The hotel is very clean with soft towels and nice bedding-just a bit dated but one of our favorite places to go to to get away for the night. The only bummer was the hot tub was cold this visit. Even still we had a great stay. We will definitely be back soon.

The beach ans sunrise was the best part! There was no heated pool as advertised and barely a hot shower! Uncomfortable seating around pool. Keys did not work.sheets did not fit. Emerald Shores Resort was a great place for my recent stay! The room was perfect for a short visit—clean, comfortable, and just what I needed. The location was incredibly convenient, especially being so close to the cheer competition I was attending. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the owner. He was kind, welcoming, and always readily available if I needed anything. That level of care made all the difference. I’ll definitely be back!

Checked out today. My room was fine, clean and comfortable if a bit dated. Had coffee packets, but no coffee maker, lol. Unfortunately I was next to the elevator in an alcove room with a garbage can blocking the door, so I listened to the elevator rumble and people talking loudly while waiting for it, for 4 nights.

That was less of a problem than the other residents of the 6th floor, who I assume were in town for a cheerleading convention and thought the entire 6th floor was theirs. I spent 4 days listening to them shriek and yell from room to room, opening the hall doors to yell to other rooms and slamming the doors again and again and again and again. All night. I complained to the front desk and heard someone come up and speak to them, but they started right back up minutes later. I had to open my door at 1am and YELL for them to pipe down. They did not care.

The beach access was nice, as was the pool area. I stayed there specifically for the beach and hot tub (I have a leg injury) and the hot tub was too cold to use from Wed til Saturday when it was just above lukewarm enough to use for a little while.

I honestly feel bad saying anything negative because the staff were all nice, lovely and apologetic, but for what I paid I expected to at least be able to sleep without being awakened nonstop and a hot tub that needs help.

Will likely stay at Bahama House again next trip (I have family in DB and am here a few times a year).

We had an unobstructed view of the ocean out the front and also because of our corner location we had windows out the side. Great for allowing light through the side and blocking direct sunshine through the front. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was exactly what I wanted. Coffee, cereal, pastry and juice. Parking was easy access and secure. Very pleased.

Room and view were great. This is our 2nd time staying here a year apart and the hot tub still is not heated. The only time it is warm is during the day when the sun hits it. We had hopes it would be fixed, but no. However you can't beat the location or view. Breakfast is lackluster, but not the reason we booked with them. Make sure to book with Hotels.com, as we tried to add another night directly with them and they charge quite a bit more if you book directly through the hotel. Also water pressure and hot showers aren't the best if you try to shower during peak times in the mornings.

We couldn't get warm water in the shower the first night and when the water was warmer the shower had No water pressure. Mark was great. Property was run down, switched rooms because of mold found on the boxspring of the bed. Comforter was so lumpy that was uncomfortable to sleep with, and no other blankets were available. It was advertised hot tub, but the hot tub was broke. The pool was not heated and there was never any pool towels on the shelf.. terrible smell in the main areas, especially the hallways. In the morning, the coffee was good, but other than that, there was a few pastries put out but very limited breakfast. Would definitely not go back and would not recommend. Was told I would receive one day credit and only received a partial one day credit.

I am aware this is a discount hotel, however the listing says HOT tub, and HEATED pool. However, the hot tub was colder than bath water annd was disgustingly grey and the pool was fit for polar bears that had not been cleaned in forever until our final day of our stay after a bunch of complaints. The change machine was out of quarters for the vending machines and the washer/dryers that required maintenance to help turn on as you had to man handle the washer, the front desk did not have any change so I was told to go to the gas station.

The bedroom floors were filthy, my kids would walk around barefoot for 5 mins and their feet/legs would be black.
Room trash was not taken out daily.
Bathtub water was murky yellow and would take forever to get even warm.

Breakfast was extremely poor, we skipped it daily and went down the street to eat.

Parking was good, the staff is nice

We stayed two nights and found the room to be very spacious, featuring two queen beds and a balcony. While it appeared partially renovated, some elements, like the low toilet and sinks, felt a bit dated, and there was minor rust on some metal furniture. Overall, the room was fairly clean.

The continental breakfast was very limited, offering only basic items like small muffins, granola bars, or applesauce, though the coffee was good. The hot tub worked great, even in cooler weather, and the beachfront location was excellent.

One inconvenience was that the room was supposed to include a hair dryer, but it was not provided, and staff were unable to locate one when requested.

Overall, we would rate our stay as good.

Older building but I don't mind as it was clean. Pool was not cleaned the 6 days we were there. Hot tub was not working. It was to cool to get in anyway but the kids enjoyed it. Only real complaint is it is very very noisy in rooms!!! You can hear everything in rooms beside you, across from you, above you and below you. Screaming kids, banging and clanging, doors slamming, furniture scrapping, etc. I would stay again but only off season.

The hot tub wasn’t that hot at first glance room looked good looking closer. There was stains on the couch and on the comforter there was a stain on a sheet. There was rust on the lamps and I believe mold I could be wrong. Both the plugs didn’t work in our room. This is just our experience not to discourage anyone. I think you should definitely try it, but our room wasn’t the best.

The pool was supposed to be heated and it was not. It was also not clean. It is an older hotel or so it looked like it. The continental breakfast was minimal. The lobby looked liked a grandmother house. Very dated. No do not disturb tags for door. Don't go during bike week. Tiki bar not open. Beds not comfortable. Sheets had stains on them. Dishes in cupboard were dirty. No extra bedding in the room for fold out couch. Pictures were deceiving on the web. Vending machine for drinks not working. There were other things but too many to list.This place needs updating and TLC. I've stayed in worse and in better places. Not on my list to return to. Find another place.

View and distance from the community makes it worth it. Good recommendations for local eats that are not chains. The room was sub par. The rusted refrigerator, the rust stains all around the bathroom and the concave bed was unwelcoming.
Also, the room was ao cold that the heater was not warming it. So, i tried to call the front desk but the phone was broken. I went down to the front desk and asked for a blanket and was treated poorly. I felt guily for asking after the way she reacted to my request. She acted like i wanted something illegal or asked her to climb Mt. Everest!
I will not be staying here again.

Shower water temperature impossible to control.
Mattress tag said 1994.
Bathroom had rust like stains and sloppy repair to walls.
Light switches didn't work.
Sub-standard continental breakfast. Coffee was good.

Roaches were running all around the room. After the lights went out the roaches came out. We asked for a room change and we were told they didn’t have another available. The receptionist did not help with finding another room and we had to drive all night back home. We packed up quickly and got our stuff out of the room. The manager never replied by email or phone call to apologize or refund our money. Unfortunately, we had to contact our credit card for the refund, but we will loose our Expedia credit. We had to leave our luggage outside for three days in case we had hitch hikers. This was our worse hotel experience we have ever had.

Extremely friendly staff. Room was very clean and, although slightly dated, very functional and enjoyable. Great location and views from the oceanside balcony.
