Tiki bar closed at 8pm. Also, they aren't affiliated with the condos so bring cash or card with you. Property is a good value for the money. Right on the beach, pool is adequate. Entertainment every afternoon. Rooms are a little dated hit and miss as they are privately owned and some are much better than others. Staff was great!

I loved the convenience of the check in process. The only problem i had was parking. My friend had to park in a side street and risk being towed. I feel that if I have a room, I should be allowed one guest pass. There were plenty of open spots available.

Great price, especially for being on the beach. Great vibes with the pool, tiki bar, and added fun with karaoke. The building is old. I’m ok with budget water pressure and slow elevators, but the cleanliness wasn’t there. I pulled back all the sheets to find hairs on the fitted sheet. I pulled a standing lamp away from a wall to look for a socket and the dust behind it was crazy, they clearly don’t move things around when cleaning.

All that said, it’s Daytona beach. It’s a great location and clean ENOUGH for a mid priced hotel with friendly staff and amenities.

Bring your expectations way lower! I mean, we were not expecting a premium experience, but some basics are missing in this property that made us leave our reservation early and ask Expedia for compensation.

When we first walked into our room we were greeted by a very strong chemical smell, which was most likely a combination of bleach and other cleaning products.

The floor was wet and slippery, as the room was very humid.

We figured we could try and push through those problems, but when we tried to get in the very much uncomfortable bed, the sheets were also wet, to the point that it would transfer to our clothes.

I talked to Expedia and they refunded me 25% of my reservation costs, which wasn't much, but honestly I just took it to make a new reservation at a different Hotel.

This was quite possibly the worst place we have ever stayed. We checked in at 5:30 pm into the first room and were afraid that they had accidentally given us the keys to someone else’s room because the beds were still unmade, there was trash everywhere and dirty towels still littered the bathroom floors. Turns out the room still hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. We were kind and gave them grace as we came on the tail end of Spring Break and thought they must have been busy. We were upgraded to another room. When we came in to this room it was filthy. The air conditioning unit was torn apart, there was brown fecal looking stains on a chair cushion and the arm of the pull out sofa was coated with a thick layer of grime. The floors were slippery with condensation and when we attempted to dry them off with towels by walking a towel across the room, the bottoms of the towels turned black. Because we were there for only one night and nowhere else to go with such late notice we slept on top of the covers. The next day our daughter accidentally left her bathing suit hanging to dry on the towel rack in the bathroom. We called as soon as we realized it and were told that the housekeeper keeps all lost and found locked on her office but was gone for the day and we should call back the next day. The next day we returned to inquire and were told that they had found it but did not know where it went. They would call us when they found it. No suit.

The room wasnt clean when I arrived.
Gousekeeping didnt clean while I was there and not even take the trash nor the dirty towels. I asked for the room to be cleaned when I left for dinner and came up back to nothing done. Again no towels so had to go downstairs to get myself. I had to take the trash out myself as well and had no toilet paper for half a day in the last day there. Very disappointing with cleanliness.

Our room had beachy furniture inside and on the patio. The only downside of the room was a couch that was kinda old and dirty. Otherwise the room was great. Learned that each of these units are individually owned. Glad we got one of the nicer ones. Our friends had a room that wasn't so nice. Staff was friendly. Location was great.

Location location location…on the beach, has a heated pool and hot jacuzzi. The tiki bar is great for beers or mixed drinks. Its not a typical hotel.

It’s a Con-Tel meaning each room is owned by someone else. So the rooms may or may not be dated. Our room was definitely a little dated with mis match lights and furniture. Wasn’t an issue for us but be aware thats not standard.

Reason why its not 5 star - the mattress were old and worn. Kept rolling into the middle. Probably time to replace. Overall the staff is wonderful, on the beach, and had free parking.

Great location, great staff, great house keeping, but a very \"tired\" hotel...or resort as they call themselves. The light on the night stand had no switch, so the only way to turn it on or off is by plugging it in. The fitness...is too funny to explain...The pool and hot tub looked ok, but we never used it.....the outside temps were to cold. The lanai/balcony had torn up carpeting and pad. I get the impression that since they get fully booked for the many events in Daytona....they feel no need to update anything.

An elevator went down so leaving was an issue, my room floor stayed wet with standing water on the tile flooring so moisture was an issue. My clothes were all damp. Rooms were pretty nice and included a little kitchenette which was appreciated. The pool and outdoor restaurant/bar area was very nice and had a lot of tables for sitting and eating/drinking. The bar overlooking the beach was very nice and we sat there each time. Proximity to the beach and the beach itself was great! My daughter and I were on a short trip to Rockville but could still enjoy the beach, being practically right on top of it. Front desk associates were friendly and helpful. The only negative was a couple of large cockroaches we had to avoid in the hall when returning very late at night. Nothing was in our room though (I triple checked).

Paid for a HOT TUB chose this hotel because it has a hot tub called before hand and asked was it working was assured it was. Temp was colder than the pool false adverstising hot tub jets worked great but this is nowhere close to hot! Will NEVER stay here again very disappointed!

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by one of the nicest and friendliness people I have ever met. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly and welcoming. They asked every time we walked by them if we needed anything for our room and inquired as to how our stay was going. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and overall the room was a lot nicer in person than the pictures that we previously saw online. We went for a last minute trip to visit family that was staying in Daytona and this was one of the few hotels that had vacancy. I am so happy that we stayed at Fountain. We are already planning a longer stay over the Summer.

Chose this hotel because it was one of the decently priced ones for a single night and we’d definitely stay here again. Not a bad walk to the boardwalk and it has beach access with a nice tiki bar that also serves food. Room was acceptable no complaints. Check in area was nice and very welcoming.

This is a disgrace of what the property has the nerve to call a 'resort'. One tiki/bar grill makes not a resort. The room itself had an AC That would periodicaly make this horrendously loud noise. All of the latter pales in comparison to the complete lack of security and response to what was occuring outside our room from 10:05 PM until 4 AM.
Please note that the walls in this hotel are THIN! a male and female were screaming, cursing and threatening one another off and on. No hotel security to do anything about it. When we went to check out in the morning and got off the elevator there were big drops of blood leading into the lobby. We told the man in the lobby about the blood on the floor and our experience with the arguing couple and he said someone came down at 4 AM to tell him about it but it was over at that point. He said someone should have called him but I'm sorry, where was the security? Is there none to be had in a 'resort? Then he made some odd comment about them having make up s*x. How is any of this behavior acceptable? I will certainly NEVER return to this location. What a horrible experience. Oh and as far as the blood was concerned he said \"yeah, I know \" . So completely could care less about that apparently.

Parking is always tough here. Cigarette smoking around the pool tends to get trapped insude the pool area because the walls keep it in, so if youre allergic to smoke know there isnt any way to get away from it. They shut the water off for half and hour while i was in the shower completely lathered head to toe.
Now that i got the bad stuff out of the way, the good stuff is the staff is always super great. I needed things printed from work and they had a computer i could use and let me print off 60 sheets for the convention i was in town for, then stapled 10 packets together. The lady that checked us in was super great, the gentleman that let me use the computer and printer also checked us out this morning, fantastic! We will be back, i just wish the pool area was completely smoke free.
Our room was clean, and it had a nice side view of the ocean. No frills, but everything was clean and thats all we cared about.
We will see you all soon!

Bar food was expensive and not even close to edible.

I believe during my stay my bank card was compromised.
Not saying it was the hotel... But this has never happened to me before .
Ocean view was mainly parking lot. Room was close to a loud major road so that wasn't a good time .

I really enjoyed my stay. The facility was nice and clean .the pool and the vibe around the tiki bar was great! My only bad to say is someone left there panties behind on the luggage rack black t- backs weaved into the rack pretty gross we just didn't sit our suitcase on it other than that it was pretty nice ...I will definitely be back we came as a crowd we had 2 suits and 3 rooms and pretty sure everyone would say the same

First time here…. Customer Service (at Front Desk) was Awesome…. manager and his helper were extremely kind and willing to help us get a room Not near the elevator! Our room was very nice, cute Beachy decorations.. CS lady described it as “GORGEOUS”.. and it was!!! Enjoyed our stay! Only an 8 minute walk to MAIN STREET (Bike week!). Will stay hear again!!!!

The room had a full size refrigerator, while most other hotels have a mini-fridge. Also a kitchenette. Balcony is ALWAYS a plus! Comfortable beds, beautiful beach decor, both in room and lobby areas.Spa and pool clean and in good working order. Will definitely stay here again.

Was disappointed with our room. Went with another couple and their room was beautifully decorated with a large tv ours was very small. The ceiling was peeling and stuff fell on floor. The continental breakfast was a joke! The hotel also charges 50.00 for unwashed dishes and another 50.00 for unbagged garbage. Why would you leave the cleaning lady any tip when you are doing her job! I am not a slob and I always leave hotel rooms neat.
