No water pressure in the bathroom sink; water came out in a trickle. Shower pressure great. However they had a shower curtain that looked like it was for a 3 ft shower stall that did not reach from end to end in the tub. So you had to decide what part of the bathroom floor you wanted to get wet as the shower curtain only covered about half the length of the tub. I'm sure the place was OK for Spring Breakers and Bike week, but it was sub par as far as we were concerned. Won't be staying there again.

Good afternoon, we stayed at Board Walk Inn & Suites from 4/23-4/26. Upon entering, we noticed that the floor was extremely filthy. Floors were covered in dirt and sand. The sofa bed, when extended, was full of crumbs and used napkins. The sofa cushions had questionable stains and had foul odor. We couldn’t use the bed or the sofa due to this inconvenience. We went to use the microwave, and there was unfinished moldy Mac’n’cheese that has been fermenting for who knows how long. There was not sufficient parking on hotel property. The overflow parking was on an unsecured lot.

This place is amazing! Everyone was so friendly and did hesitate to answer any and all questions. One of the must dos is to visit BB's she is full of love and makes incredible drinks.
We had a view of the ocean and pretty much left our doors open and fell asleep listening to the waves.

Great spot on the water, with a pool looking out to the ocean!
Tons of stores and restaurants in walkable distance, felt like a safe area and the beach was clean and beautiful.

The floors were semi clean- I spilt some of my water on the floor and when I wiped it the white hotel towel was brown.
The room smelt of mold - it actually made me sick from how bad it was.
Spoke to the GM Donna about it and she was great said she’d fully refund the whole booking. Been waiting almost a week for the refund so I called the hotel to check- I was greeted with a rude front desk lady. I don’t remember her name but she’s blonde with curly hair and an accent- very rude.
She stated the manager said she’d refund the resort fees only - even tho she wasn’t apart of our conversation. I told her I’d like the GM to call me; so I get a phone call from the hotel and it’s a different manger - I believe her name was Barbara.
She was rude and tried to turn it back around onto me than it was my fault that I was unhappy with my stay because I didn’t say anything about the room when I checked in at 7pm after working all day for a ONE NIGHT stay to just relax. No I didn’t feel like lugging all of my stuff to another room- I was told I’d receive a call back in regards to this situation and I have yet to receive one.

We've stayed here so many times and this was definitely the last! We live here in Florida and love Daytona but now need to find a new favorite place. We always get the suite and balcony with the loungers, the porch area is dirty, the loungers need new cushions, the inside room had hair all over including the sheets, the bathroom toilet seat was slipping off. Do better!!!

Being that close to the beach was wonderful!! I was about 100 steps from sand, which was awesome. I also liked that most places were within walking distance from the hotel.

I would suggest asking the staff to sweep your floor if you’re a barefoot walker versus wearing socks or flip flops, because my floor was dirty. I had to ask the housekeeping staff to come clean my bathroom floor because it was quite muddy/wet sandy. I wore gray socks, and I’m not certain those socks will come clean because my floor was sandy.

Housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked them for certain things.

Check-in/out was seamless. I arrived earlier than expected and I was able to check in several hours before the actual posted time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is amazing.They cleaned our room every single day.Supplying us with fresh towels , body , wash shampoo and conditioner. The hotel is right on the beach , so you wake up and you can see beautiful scenery. They also have swimming pool and the hot tub. Comfortable tiki bar is right there as well. our flight was a little bit later, than our check out, so the reception offered us to keep an eye on our bags, while we were finishing up our gift shopping. I would definitely recommend and I would come back and stay there one more time myself.

It was a good experience. Staff was very helpful and the room was spacious. They gave us a complementary drink at the bar which was good. They didn’t have breakfast but there are some really nice mom and pop dinners in the area. The pool and hot tub were nice with beach access. It was a better pool than most hotels are there was actually a deep end to swim in. Towels and bedsheets could have been a little cleaner though. Overall it was a good experience.

Right as we walked into our room it smelled of must. There was black mold in our AC unit and the walls were damp and caving in. The couch was stained and the floors were noticeably dirty. We decided to stay elsewhere, however the staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Check-in was at 4:00 PM, but the room was not ready. In addition, the shower curtain was broken, and the glass door leading to the balcony had a lock that did not work, which is a safety concern since we were on the 5th floor. We did not have small children, but I am thinking about future guests who might be traveling with kids.

The sheet near the air conditioning unit by our bed had stains in the headboard area.

Overall, it is a beautiful place with an excellent view and conveniently located near everything.

Due to cheerleading nationals, these few days are really busy. I am only a spectator without knowing anyone personally, and I booked way ahead of time to ensure there is a room. The staff here are exceptional! I would like to make a shout out to the gentlemen who checked me in and took my bags on the first day. On the second day, I went back to my room to take a break. As I was walking in, I was surprised he actively said hi to me, he remembered me for checking me in! He asked me did I have a good time, and did I need anything. Next time in Daytona, this is the accommodation to choose from!

The sliding glass door in our room was too foggy to see through and needs to be replaced. The fan in the bathroom barely worked. Room was clean, just needs a little updating. There was no on sight restauraunt, and parking was very limited. The staff was fantastic. Very polite and helpful.

Everything was great for the short time we stayed. Wish breakfast was served in the morning, a few things broken around the bar when we stayed but things happen. The people are very nice, drinks are poured a little heavy but that’s what you expect on vacation! I would recommend the stay especially to out of state folk with family’s who want to experience Daytona. A/C goes very low if you get burnt. The window to the sliding doors on the balcony have moisture between the pains and makes it hard to see through, perfect location for restaurants and shops nearby.

This property felt more like a motel. The public access to the drive-on beach is directly in front of the property. The Windows in the room do not open so no fresh air in the room. We Could not access the pool area from the very small, 4 seat Tiki bar. The hot tub was very dirty. Staff were all pleasant. Our first room must’ve been freshly cleaned because there was an overwhelming smell of bleach. I asked to be moved to a different room which they quickly accommodated. 🙂 The room was a bit musty smelling however, very clean.

Over all this place was good for the price. It was very affordable. It’s very conveniently located close to the pier & boardwalk.

We didn’t use many of the features just because of the timing and weather but the woman at the check-in. Toni was very kind. Everyone gets a goodie bag at check-in with three coupons and water in some information about the area. There were staff members visible, checking for parking spots, cleaning up the rooms, making sure the parking area was clean throughout. The pool and hot tub looks clean and it was easy to walk to the beach and lots of places to eat and shop nearby.

Parking was a crap shoot and the security guard during the week was amazing and really nice, the one i dealt with on Friday evening was rude and lied. The rest of the staff, front desk and everyone else was amazing.

** doors on balcony did NOT LOCK**

** The hot tub was nice but VIOLENT! Turn the jets down a little, the water was shooting out, as if we were in an Bering Sea on a crab boat and mother nature turned as you got pummeled back and forth by the water, or like you were at a bar and got slapped in the face, once from the right and then from the left... (of course i'm trying to make you laugh here, but jets do need to be turned down a little bit)

Also elevator to 5th floor broke one day they did remedy the situation by the next day but you could only go up 4 flights by elevator on other side and still walk up 1 floor of stairs, which wasn't a big deal except my father is 89 and that was hard for him.
