Upon check in I asked for price of upgrade to ocean view room. Attendant Tatiana was lovely and worked out an upgrade. However we were placed in a room with a stopped up shower drain the entire trip of 5 night stay. We asked for maintenance from another worker twice with no help ever arriving to fix it. Room 402 still stopped up. They only clean rooms every 3 days so once in 5 days happened at start of our trip like after first night and much trash and running out of towels & tp happened. We asked for only a trash & towel service to again no avail. I probably will not be staying there again. It’s not worth all the money spent to be ignored and upgraded to a faulty room.

Parking was bad. If you have to park behind another car, you hav e to leave keys at desk. Nowhere was that noted. Sheets had been washed, but had stains. Paint chipping in rooms. My card had attempted incidental charge 4x so I had to lock it. Bar is great...

The rooms ( we had 2) were spacious & clean. The bldg was older (5 stories) but everything was clean, in the reception area there’s snacks & drinks for purchase And you can rent an umbrella w/chairs by the shore, Has a nice covered bar area by the pool, if anyone got boiling hot they could cool down there to get out of the sun for a bit (was in the 90s but felt like a 100) The pool was clean with lots of seating, the big + was it over looked the beautiful ocean. The kids absolutely loved playing on the beach & in the ocean. A food truck sat just below the pool area so that came in handy. Parking is free & the staff were extremely nice/helpful & it’s walking distance to the boardwalk for restaurants/ shopping. But the thing I loved most about the place was the closeness to the ocean.

Beds had sand in them upon arrival.
For a 5 night stay housekeeping didn’t come at all to tidy up the room. Had to call for extra towels and take our own trash out.
Parking is horrible - not enough spots and the “free valet” you have to push for. They try to not offer it and said “it’s up to the security if they want to valet it or not” when directing me to go park in an overflow lot down the street. They said across the street but it took them all of 5 minutes to return with it.

It is a great location, not too far from the pier. The room was really cute. However when we got there, the room was dirty. It had not been swept or mopped, and there was chips underneath the desk. Couldn’t find but one garbage can in the room so we called and requested another one and later I found the second garbage can out on the balcony with the dirty diaper in it. Later I called down and requested hand towels and washcloths because we did not have any in our room. Never did receive them.

Hotel location is absolutely perfect, however the property is in need of many repairs. Our toilet seat was loose, the shower curtain was literally falling apart, exhaust fan didn’t work, dryer didn’t work, pool was extremely oily, and parking was a challenge. The staff were constantly excellent, the repair man arrived within 30 minutes of letting the front office know out shower was not draining.

Beautiful beachfront views, big, clean rooms, wonderful pool and hot tub area with direct access to the beach!
Staff was very sweet and give you a welcome gift bag and coupon for a free drink at the bar.
The only criticism is parking- lot is way too small and awkward for the number of rooms on the weekends. Overflow lot is behind a gift shop across the street. However, hotel is close enough to a lot of activities within walking distance!
Would definitely stay again!

We never stayed in this southern area of the main Daytona Beach area before. Though we knew & heard of some cars on the beach, we never imagined the littered congestion of so many behind this hotel. The pool area was packed and loud. The sliding glass door window was terribly stained when we arrived and you could hardly see through it. It would have been nice to look out at the ocean as the noise from the pool area was very distractive along with the litter of vehicles. We stayed on Sat & Sun nights. We never have been at a hotel with such poor parking. If we did not jump on an unexpected departure of one space, we would have had to leave our keys supposedly with security to have car moved as half of the parking lot had cars back to back for the closed in car to get out. There were bugs thru out the room. We had no idea how to operate the TV. We waited until the 2nd day for a technician to come by to tell us we were missing a program guide and they later brought it to us. The hotel is terribly worn-out and not attractive as in the pictures. The coffee in the room was super weak that we could not taste it more than water. No breakfast is included & there is no restaurant within blocks. We had to do without as if we drove to a restaurant, we would lose our parking. Most of hotel guests appear to not be affected by losing their parking as they spent their entire day either at the beach or in their room. It was a sorrowful waste of money to have stayed.

Check in staff was very rude and non accommodating
Check in time is 16:00, we arrived at 16:45 and were given a hard time about our reservation because we booked through a \"third party\" and then gave us a room that wasnt clean yet and said there were no more rooms available. But a nice gentlemen said that was unacceptable and went to the office and swapped our room to a room that was available and said there were plenty of rooms she (check in lady) could have given us.

I love Boardwalk Inn! I have stayed a few times now with my husband and we always have a great time. The ocean is right there! The Tiki bar is great and everyone is friendly, even the other guests. I really appreciate that their hot tub is truly a hot tub (it is such a nice relaxing hot temperature) and not one of those room temperature hot tubs that essentially becomes a kiddie pool full of toddlers & small children. The only downside is their mattresses run on the firm side but otherwise an excellent stay.

We had a beach view room and it was AMAZING. 3rd floor corner with a nice balcony. We could people watch, animal watch, whatever we wanted. It brought fantastic sunrises to our door. I also got to see a space launch from Cape Canaveral from our balcony on 7/9/26 morning. That felt like a once in a lifetime view. We got to dry our swim suits at the hotel prior to packing so we did not need to soak the rest of our clothes in our suitcases. SO GREAT! We will he back. 😊

Loved the location and that you could walk right to the beach. We stayed Monday- Friday and our room was never cleaned. Had to ask for towels every day. Had to take our own trash out. I even had to ask for a broom to sweep our room it had gotten so sandy and no one came and cleaned. The parking was not good when they are full. The parking garage is small and there is no room for turning around. All the outside trash cans were full as well because of people having to put their trash in them. The maintenance guy was nice who helped us out. The shower did not drain either it was up to your ankles before you were done.
The beach was nice and surprisingly not crowded for July.

If you are a bit of a snob (which I am), this property will not live up to the other reviews you see here about cleanliness. This hotel was not clean, in my opinion. The towels had stains. The bedding had stains. I would not sit on the sofa. It was disgusting. The staff tried their best to accommodate us when we asked to change rooms because the first room smelled like someone had been sick in it. I could not wait to leave. Big pool. I had sodas that were not chilled yet, but had no glasses or cups to put it in. The telephone was also not working in the room. I called the front desk (from my cell phone) and they said yes, the phones were not working. There was also a coffee maker in the room...but no coffee pot. It didn't make any sense. It was also incredibly noisy from all around, as late into the night as 2 AM. Needless to say, I was disappointed with my stay.
