This was one of my worst experiences with a resort hotel. The fridge in room was very tiny,wasn’t even a freezer at top just a cooler. The trash bins was small as well. This hotel need to be updated like smaller star hotels that offer a lot more for your buck. What I felt was going to be a joyful vacation on the beach turn out to be one of the worst I had. Not many luggage carts available.

The staff was helpful. The beach view from the lobby area was nice.

I was bit several times by something in the room and only when I would lay down.
One hot tub barely worked, the other kept breaking down, the large pool was green and the pool maintenance people kept saying they were working on fixing it. Dirty dishes on breakfast tables set up as clean ones. The outside of the hotel facing beach needed a lot of maintenance that it just isn’t getting and it does not look like a good example of the many Hiltons I’ve stayed at over the years. Only 1-2 elevators worked. They kept breaking down, long lines of people waiting to get on the elevator to their rooms.

I paid roughly $1,000 for a four-night stay and, unfortunately, the experience felt much closer to a motel than a resort.

Check-in was uncomfortably long, and our room had a noticeable musty smell upon arrival. I was also under the impression I had booked a room with a balcony, only to discover it was a decorative “Juliet” style balcony that wasn’t usable.

The air conditioning barely worked during our stay. We reported the issue, but nothing was done to resolve it. Housekeeping only serviced our room once during the entire stay, and on our final morning staff attempted to enter the room around 8:00 a.m. before checkout.

The room itself showed significant wear and tear. There were holes in the curtains, the furniture was heavily worn with tears in the chair upholstery, and the pillows offered very little support. The elevators were another frustration. Two of the four appeared to be malfunctioning throughout our stay, leading to long waits, and cleanliness was lacking. The same nutshell remained on an elevator floor for the duration of our visit.

One additional annoyance was that Jehovah’s Witnesses were stationed around the hotel property throughout our stay. While I fully support freedom of religion, I don’t expect to be approached about religious matters while on vacation at a resort.

The positives: the valet staff were excellent, the poolside team was attentive and friendly, and the location is fantastic right on the boardwalk

The resort is nice, but feels tired and worn - definitely needs a refresh. Carpet throughout the hotel is worn and in some places, is loose. Bathrooms are clean, but needs to be updated. Several tiles in my room's bathroom were cracked or broken and the tub had rust spots. Overall, a nice stay but needs to be refreshed.

My stay at the Hilton hotel in Daytona, FL was okay overall. However, my main concern was that the bedroom was outdated, and the bed had visible stains on the side. In addition, you could feel the springs through the mattress, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

I had roaches in my room, the shower knob needed to be repaired (a gaping hole), and many of the floor tiles in the bathroom was cracked. The worst was I did not want to take a shower and the roaches in my room. However, I appreciated the front desk's service. She immediately moved me to another room and gave me a credit. This hotel is in a great location as the beach is right there and their event department is top notch!

Nevertheless, I would choose another hotel next time because this hotel seriously needs to be renovated. I would throw an event here but not stay here again.

This was our 4th stay at the Daytona Hilton oceanfront. The previous stays were enjoyable with clean rooms and comfortable. This stay makes me want to try a different hotel next time. The room they gave us was a handicap accessible room with a thermostat mounted 3 feet from the floor and a shower head that was 5 feet at its highest setting. All of which would have been fine had we requested such a room. When we arrived we found the cloth chair in the room had a brown stain that looked like someone $h!t on it and tried to wipe ot off. The chair to the desk had a large tear in the leather. The room was warm so we dropped the thermostat and left for dinner. After we arrived back to the room at 9 pm we found it was still hot and had to contact the front desk and asked for a room change. We were told maintenance would arrive soon to look at the AC. The man arrived at 9:45 pm and at 10 pm left after repairing the issue. It took almost another hour for the room to cool down. In the morning we found the tub drained slow and we stood in 6\" of water by the time we were done. The sink was a slow small stream at best with both cold and hot water on. To top it all off we found that the main pool overlooking the ocean was closed due to a chlorine issue. Disappointing stay to say the least.

The view was great, the amenities were very nice and the staff as super. The downfalls were the pool was green, the rooms are quite warm and doesn’t seem like the air works too well, our room was not the cleanest but the beds were very comfortable.

I had high hopes for this hotel and it probably used to be amazing. There is so much potential to still be a great hotel. Seemed runned down, loose faucets , shower wouldnt turn on , no chance of speaking to room service or guest services. The part my family was most disappointed in were the amenities. The pool was neon green, more surprising tons of people still swimming in it. The pool should have been closed for an emergency shocking treatment. The lcoation was amazing , potential definitely there but needs up keep.

Honestly, this trip was not great and I will not stay here again or recommend it. The people/staff were nice I’ll say that and the hotel was majority clean. Parking is crazy . $35 to self park ACROSS from the hotel is insane. The hotel was also insanely busy and had a 15+minute wait time just to use the elevators. The beach was good. However, the pool was completely green. The bar only had 2 servers working so it took almost 2 hours to get 3 drinks which meant we were stuck by the pool that we didn’t even want to use due to it being gross. The drinks were supposed to be frozen but came melted. The waiter told us that she apologized and that we would have a drink on the house which never came neither was it comped from the room. The bell people that help load and unload are helpful. The hotel TV does not stream any streaming services so if you want to watch anything it’s just cable. The room was clean enough. We found a pill on the floor when we came and it smelt like cigarettes. Overall , we just did not have the fun we expected to have. The fridge in the room didn’t work either. For the price you pay, this place is not worth it.

The room was not worth the price. The fixtures in the room were old, worn, and rusted, which made the stay feel outdated and poorly maintained. For the amount charged, I expected at least basic amenities, but nothing was included — not even complimentary coffee or breakfast.

The service experience was also disappointing. Guests were not allowed to use a luggage cart to bring bags to and from the room, which was very inconvenient. On top of that, the valet staff repeatedly pressured us to move our car while we were simply trying to load and unload our luggage. Overall, the experience did not justify the cost, and I would not stay here again.

Everything about the resort is EXTREMELY outdated. To call it a resort is a crying shame. I’m not one to write reviews but this property was in really bad shape. I was actually very embarrassed I chose this property for my wife’s 50th bday getaway. Hilton should be embarrassed to have there name on that building. The pool was open with poeple swimming in green, algae filled water. The amount of items that we encountered that were bad were too many to list.

The room furniture worn freyed couch and desk chair. Coffee table paint all chipped. Bed positioned one way television on other wall could not lay in bed and watch tv. Lamp shade dirty with water stains. Ocean view glass dirty foggy could not have a good view unless glass was open. Went down to get a towel as someone was in the shower as we needed an extra can’t get one from desk someone has to bring it 45 minutes later. You have to pay for parking so if you go and family coming later you pay like $40 a car a day for offsite parking $50.00 for valet not to mention the place a $100.00 a night hold then they charge an additional amount for ancillary hold as well then you play resort fees. Great location, crappy room

Asked for a refund for the room not for resort fees or parking verbally, in writing and by phone call … hold your breath…
So here’s the breakdown $400 for 2 nights
$200 for deposit, $112 for ancillary, $56.25 for resort fees and $160.00 for 2 nights parking for 2 cars

You decide if it is worth it!!! Find a different place or insist they give you another room but good luck supervisor not available and wasn’t available when Expedia contacted them

We had such a great stay at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort! The location was perfect — being right on the beach made everything so convenient and relaxing. We loved the restaurants and the pool bar. The atmosphere was fun, the resort was clean and well kept, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. Definitely a great place for a beach getaway and we would absolutely stay here again!

We had a room in the north tower with a view of the street. The room was clean but very out dated. The drain placement in the bathroom was annoying. The shower had a drain and there was a 2nd drain in the middle of the floor directly behind the vanity. So there’s a slope where you’re standing to get ready and you step back onto a drain. As for the room, there was a very small refrigerator, no microwave, a TV, and a desk. Our room had 2 supposedly queen beds (smallest queen I’ve ever slept on) with a lamp in between, an alarm clock, and a phone. There was one plug and USB port. We did not eat at the restaurants or shop in the snack store, but we did get an overpriced but tasty drink from the outdoor bar. The on site parking options are self park for $37/day (includes parking tax) or valet for about $50-55. The self parking is across the street and that combined with the walk to the north tower was 0.25 miles. Unfortunately, their self parking lot very quickly overfills. We parked in the extended spots meant for trailers and buses one night. The next day, Jordan Tucci (parking manager) called me to come move the car for a bus to park there. We asked him where to move the car and he told us to valet it or park in the city garage. He was a d**k about it too. We’ve already paid to park here and we’re supposed to go pay to park somewhere else? That’s not gonna happen. You want me to move my car, then give me a complementary valet or a voucher for the city garage.

Housekeeping is non-existent unless you request service and they do not even clean the room. They just throw towels, shampoo, tissues and toilet paper on a counter for you to put away yourself.

Everything is dirty and rusted.

Pool is closed most of the time.

2 of 4 elevators broken for weeks.

Rooms are dirty at check-in with hairs all over the entire bathroom.

The staff is amazing. They will really help you with any situation that might arise. Unfortunately the property does not meet those same standards. The building is beginning to show its age. The decor feels dated. There are minor repairs that are needed in the rooms. The location is fantastic. Walking distance of numerous shops and places to eat.

You are paying for the location, there is no doubt. Common areas like the lobby and restaurants are outstanding. The rooms while mostly clean and very comfortable, seemed very dated. We had two rooms. Both sinks were stopped up, refrigerator was stinky, windows filthy…and couch was gross. But not because it was “dirty“ I just think it needs to be freshened up. Staff is excellent, common areas are gorgeous. And you can’t beat the view/location. The biggest disappointment was two of the four elevators were out of commission on a very busy weekend. When traveling with a disabled person, that made it very difficult to navigate.

I was never told that I would be charged $50 a night to valet per vehicle. The only alternative parking is way across the street & it’s $35 in a garage. The valet lost my friends Jeep & her keys. They spent well over 2 hours trying to find it. We were suppose to be at an event, but never made it. Our room was never cleaned, never brought clean towels etc. The shower didn’t work. There was mold on the vent in the bathroom over the shower. If you’re expecting to come & go quickly from this hotel. DONT! You have to wait for ever to get an elevator. I will never stay here again & have made sure my other friends know how horrible this hotel is as well.

We booked a room here for two nights because the location was a very convenient walking distance to the concert venue we were going to. The staff was friendly and we had a nice view of the beach. The location was perfect, but how they call this a resort is beyond me! It was more like a last resort! Starting with the room, the couch was ripped and soiled heavily. We hated to even sit on it. Other than that, the room was pretty clean. Only half the elevators worked. The pool was a dark shade of green and was closed for repair.

The cabana roomed we stayed in was very convenient for beach access but the fixtures in the room were a mess. Broken chairs, stained furniture and the AC hanging on for dear life. Most of the time it was cooler outside than in the room. Images online are the rooms when they were brand new, of course, but they're in rough shape these days.

Many elevators on site were out of service and the main pool was completely closed, so we were paying for amenities we didn't get the opportunity to utilize. Youth event happened to be going on when we attended so the small other pool was absolutely slammed (not the hotel's fault)

Used to love this hotel a great deal and have been many times. Splurged a bit on one of their nicer rooms and it was a disaster, frankly.

Beach view was good. Room was clean but in poor repair. Self park is a block away so you have to pay for valet. When I was stung by a jellyfish they told me they couldn’t help me and wouldn’t call someone to help me, I had to walk back out to the beach and find a lifeguard. Every time I went to the front desk their computer was down, during check in and check out. However the location is good.

We paid for an oceanfront room and the glass was dirty and obstructed the view to a degree. The carpet and flooring going into the bathroom were dirty and needed cleaned. We originally were excited to be staying at a Hilton but now I don’t know that I will stay in another one. We were very disappointed.

The view was spectacular. The shower was difficult to navigate, the lamp on the desk didn’t work, there was no freezer in the fridge which we needed. Bathroom door very heavy and didn’t close totally.

Staff was amazing, hotel was beautiful and clean, 2 of the elevators were out of service so had to wait awhile during check in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
