Great location and plenty to do on the board walk and near by shops/ restaurants! Very central location. Rooms need TLC, they need to be upgraded. Old Carpet and dingy bathrooms. The lobby and restaurants are nicely remodeled and food is great

We were not made aware that one of the pools was not in operation. It was one of the reasons that we booked there. The smaller pool up a few floors was okay, but not what we were hoping for. A little disappointed. Ended up leaving earlier than we had planned.

They have a very small check-in loop that is up a steep driveway. That only fits a handful of vehicles. So there is traffic backed up along the road out front. For a 1 a block, just waiting to get up to check-in. So if you choose to sell park and go to their parking lot, is this across the street one block over so you have to carry all of your baggage by hand and walk through the heat and cross two different streets to get to the hotel. And then you have to plug your stuff up that steep driveway, just to get inside my air conditioner, never stopped running the carpet in the area of the intake was soaking. Wet from condensation from the air conditioner, the lobby bar. We waited over 30 minutes sitting at the bar just to be asked if we wanted a drink. They clearly cannot handle 700 rooms with the staff that they have. They are overwhelmed and cannot keep up. The pool has limited chairs and seating. So if you don't get there bright and early, you don't get a chair or a lounger. You have to sit on the hot concrete, or leave. There is a pool on the 5th floor in the north tower, which is surrounded by high concrete walls, which makes it a physical sauna. In this heat of the summer it was unbearable to sit around that pool
I have stayed there many times and unfortunately, after this last visit, I will not be going back

I really liked this hotel. I was so nervous about parking. I drove around the block 3 times and finally just asked them to valet my rental for me. They quickly got my car taken care of and we were able to check in and hit the pool within 10 mins! We had an oceanview room on the 12th floor and the sunrise this morning was 10/10. The Breakfast buffet was great! Soooo many options compared to other hotels i have visited. Everyone was so friendly. On our way out, while waiting for our car one of the workers grabbed our bags and loaded our car for us. Super nice! I would definitely stay here if we venture back this way, again!

Property or EXPEDIA ROOMS were okay! Disappointing that balcony wasn’t really a balcony you could sit on or hang out on it was simply sliding glass doors that open & shut with a one foot ledge. Disappointed for sure! The only reason we paid for a balcony was
to watch the 4th of July fireworks on it! Could have Saved the Money!!!!!

Upon arriving the Air conditioner was working for about a half hour in the meantime being in the room the Air conditioner stopped working. Numerous times management were told and the technician came to fix the air conditioner and again it broke down. No refund No accommodation was provided. On the same note, before even showering there was hair all over the bathroom walls in the shower. Again all they did was provide housekeeping to clean the bathroom. The view was amazing. We had ocean view which was beautiful since we stood for Fourth of July weekend and we the best view for the fireworks. Overall the stay was decent, a lot to eat and enjoy the time being.

The fact that they charge you to park your car across the street in the parking lot a fee instead of it being for free. And then the fact that you have to pay $25 just to get towels out at the pool. And for what you’re paying for the hotel is dated, and unless you have your blinds pulled your room is hot from the sun on the windows. You can turn down the AC, but it won’t do anything. You don’t even really feel it blowing.

The location of the hotel is great. You have beach access and are right next to a bunch of restaurants and shops.the room is comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had some issues. You could see some of it was renovated and some of it was not. It was not my favorite. The pool in the south tower was great. The pool in the north tower was very dirty (a lot of black stuff in it). If it had been clean, I'd have no complaints about the pool. The staff was great from start to finish which always makes the stay nice. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel states it offers chairs and umbrellas at the beach as per the resort fees. It doesn’t! A different company comes and sets up chairs and umbrellas and charges $50 for the day. Parking is $50 per night if you use the valet $35 for Self parking. There are no balconies. It’s just a door that slides open that you cannot step out since the fence is against the window. The bar alongside the pool is closed by 6 PM so nothing after that I really don’t know what the resort fee cover because to get towels you need to put your credit card in a machine that charges you a deposit of $25 to make sure you return your towels. The restaurants inside the hotel during our stay were closed except for one. Not what I was expecting, but I guess you pay what you get for except for the resort fee.

The reason I gave four stars was because the place is old and had signs of upkeep needed. Being from Florida myself, I understand what the beach does to buildings and how quickly they go into disarray. With that being said, the place was very clean and maintained for its age. It had a couple different restaurants and two bars open we didn’t use the fifth floor pool, but we did the one that was out on the deck. It was perfect location for all that’s happening in Daytona. I’m not a fan of having to pay $35 a night for parking overnigh across the street but there’s really nowhere else to park because it’s on the beach. You can walk to a lot of other restaurants and the bandshell, which used to have concerts and still does sometimes. We overlooked the beach and it was amazing at sunset and sunrise. It’s great for couples or families. I would totally stay there again. I have nothing bad to say about it and they were very friendly and helpful. Maurice at the front desk was awesome.

Based on the Hilton brand and the price of my stay, I expected a more upscale experience than what I received.

The rooms themselves felt dated and did not reflect the elevated experience I expected from a Hilton oceanfront resort.

As it relates to fees:
A $25 daily resort fee was an unexpected additional fee.

Parking is also an additional cost, $35/day and it’s across the street. valet is $50.00; however, the service from the valet attendants were exceptional.

Solicitors also stuck flyers under my hotel door on more than one occasion which made me feel unsafe as a single traveller.

What was most frustrating was reviewing my final bill and realizing how much the overall cost of the stay had increased due to valet parking, taxes, and additional fees. While I understand that taxes are unavoidable, the combination of these extra charges significantly increased the total amount I paid compared to what I initially budgeted for when booking. Had I known the true all-in cost upfront, I likely would have chosen another property that offered a more complete package and accommodations that better matched the price point.

I was told I was being upgraded, I booked a sunset view standard room, and switched to an ocean view. I was not told that the room I was being switched to was handicap accessible, I would have declined this upgrade. The room did not have a chair for me to sit at the desk and work and the shower head at its max height was at mid-chest. I basically did a back bend to wash my hair. I got in late, after 10pm, and called first thing in the morning. I was told I should have been informed of the type of room I was given and that was it. I had to ask for it to be made right, removing resort fees was all that occurred. I would not book here again. The valet parking attendants were great and very helpful!

Its right across the street from the convention center and right on the beach - location is good. We also enjoyed the resturant on site for breakfast (Doc Bales) and the employees there were good (Bridgette). But thats all the positive that I can say.

When we checked in the guy gave a really quick overview of a lot of information but when I indicated that I didn't catch all that He didnt have information to hand me or attempt to repeat any of it.

We were on the 3rd floor of the south tower. In some areas it had low ceilings, water damage, and poor lighting. Our room had a ripped & stained chair and the wall had marred paint. Our room hadn't been cleaned well before we arrived and even though I told the guest services about it, housekeeping never came to our room. We stayed three nights.

One of my biggest frustration was parking. Its $50 a day to park at the hotel and they say its $35 across the street. But they didn't give very much information so I ended up scanning the parking code (which i guess hotel guests arent supposed to do) and got charged $52 for the first night by the third party that runs the lot and $35 by Hilton. I got the Hilton charge refunded. But the third night the lot was totally full (even though I had paid for three nights with the 3rd party) and had to park at the Hilton itself.

Customer service is so lacking that instead of understanding that I shouldn't be charged any additional fee I had two different Hilton employees try to charge me extra

The valet employees were great. They greeted me and helped get a bellhop to empty car. I told them I arrived early and hoped I could check in. Was told shouldn’t be an issue folks had been arriving early and getting their rooms. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the experience I encountered at the check in desk. Employee (women) was so rude couldn’t smile if she saw a unicorn in the lobby, she obviously didn’t want to be there. She told me there were no rooms were ready so I waited in lobby she said they would call my cell when one opened up. About an hour and a half later I go back to counter and was “helped” NOT, by Rich. He was so condescending told me “check in is at 4pm” I asked him if he could give me a ballpark wait time and he replied check in is at 4pm. I have never been treated so poorly so I had valet pull my car back out of the garage and left. At 1:06PM Rich calls me to say my room was ready. I was already on my way to the Marriot. This was 100% calculated knowing I left to another hotel because I told the valet employee that so he must have ran back to check in to let them know. I am demanding a full refund or will dispute charge with my credit card company. You all decide what to do. At this point, I am going to share my experience on every platform this hotel has. They should be ashamed of themselves. To boot, the hotel was filthy. Carpets need to be cleaned, air freshers installed poorly blasting you in the face as you walk by.

As long as you stay on property, it's great. Surroundings a bit shady. I was turned away from Mexican restaurant due to no staff. Only complaints are conditioner and lotion inside the room are left totally empty. Everything else was pretty good. The beach and water super nice.

Nice hotel. Entry is chaotic, valet parking takes some time but they hustle. Nice views.

The staff was very kind and helpful. However the room was dirty in the corners, the couch was stained and ripped. All of the wooden furniture was worn on the edges, and the walls had stains on them.

Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Valet staff also were so nice! My room got overlooked for 2nd day cleaning....not a big deal, but when I asked for a replenishment of something, within 15 minutes a staff member was at my door. Beautiful view of the beach if you get the oceanside rooms. Breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was excellent, and staff was very attentive.

One suggestion.....maybe seat families with small children on one side, and adults on the other side. Some parents can't control their kids, and they (the kids) were running around, in the way of the waitstaff with hot coffee and full trays.
