Check in- seamless and very friendly staff.

Room - we chose oceanview and it was beautiful. The room would be the same, but for an addtl $40, we chose to watch the sunset and rise and it was totally worth it. We also chose a room with the balcony. My only complai t was the AC noise was too much if you want med to listen to the waves, but it is what it is.

Amenities- we knew they were there, but we just went to the beach.

Overall- Id stay here again in a heartbeat

Overall I would stay here again. The hallways and elevators were very very hot. They ac in the room was great. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but that is the norm for budget friendly hotels. They breakfast was good better than the average free breakfast but if you didn't get there early they ran out of hot foods quickly. The hotel staff was very friendly.

I highly recommend anyone going to Daytona looking for a fabulous affordable hotel to stay here. The staff are friendly, courteous, and very helpful with any questions. The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of hot items as well as cereal etc. and the breakfast attendant was friendly and kept everything sparkling clean. I actually tipped her 20 bucks for making sure everything was delicious. That’s the type employee every hotel should have!! The view from the balcony of the ocean was perfect and the room appointments were very up to date and inviting. The bed was SO comfortable and the shower had great pressure. You will not be disappointed in this hotel and I hope to go back again in the near future.

The first room we were given smelled like mildew. Towels were dingy and tv channels and services are outdated. We were locked out of our room on the first day because the battery died on the key lock. Spent an hour waiting for maintenance to get there after spending the day sightseeing, my kids were exhausted and this was well past midnight. The second room was cleaner but smaller. My son got stuck in the elevator for about 15 minutes. We opted for parking but there was no parking. I asked for a refund day 1 and they said they couldn’t despite us not having used the room yet due to being locked out. My sons Nintendo switch went “missing” our room had no safe. I will never stay at a best western again nor recommend to anyone ever.

This hotel is in need of an uplift. The pool and beach are close walking distance. There are no covered areas at the pool for shade, so be sure to bring your own umbrella. Parking is limited to one car at an extra cost. Any additional cars will have to be parked about 2 blocks away at an additional fee. Front desk representatives were friendly, but overall feeling of the hotel and additional parking fees were not impressive. This was my first and last visit.

The staff was great. The room was clean. comfortable with a great view. The elevators didn't work all the time. Parking was a nightmare with a lot next door as overflow which was a muddy construction site with chunks of concrete . They had way more rooms than parking places and charge for parking. In fairness, I was refunded my parking fee after complaining about trudging thru the hazardous area and people getting stuck in the mud. The whole stay would have earned an Excellent if the parking was better and the elevators worked all the time. I'd go back just for the clean nice room.

I really enjoyed my stay overall. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and one of the best parts of the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I was also pleasantly surprised by the large refrigerator, which was very convenient.
Another thing I loved was the easy access to the beach. I could walk through the pool area and go directly to the beach, which made the location even more enjoyable.
The only negative part of my stay was the housekeeping service. The cleaning was very poor. Hair in the bathroom was not removed, and the room was not properly vacuumed. On the third day, I specifically requested vacuuming, but it seemed like it was done very quickly and not thoroughly. The bathroom was still not cleaned properly, and used towels were not removed.
Aside from the disappointing housekeeping service, everything else was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay.

The breakfast was very disappointing. The some of the breakfast staff was very rude. The hotel its self was okay. It did its purpose. The room was not as it was advertised on the website. The refrigerator was missing all its shelves. The stove light would remain on even though the burners were off. Yes I’m aware of the cool down period but the stove was never used. I booked 2 rooms and they were totally different quality.

Amazing view. Got the 2 Queen beds with the ocean view and balcony. The first night we got there they stressed having a parking pass in your window and you were charged to park, on the second day there were 8 cars in the parking lot without them and there was no parking left, so we had to park in a field next door. The staff said “our security just looked outside and all vehicles have the pass” the hotel itself is outdated. The breakfast was really good. Only one elevator worked so somtimes you’d have to wait 10 minutes to get on it.

Here’s a polished version of your hotel review:

The breakfast was really good, and the hotel was very clean during our stay. The staff was friendly, and overall we had a pleasant experience. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. We were never told that we had to specifically request room cleaning service. Because of that, our bed was not made and the trash was not taken out until we asked. It would have been helpful if this had been explained at check-in. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

My original review regarding the check-in process was very good and true at that time. Lisa at the front desk was wonderful and the staff changes for housekeeping and the breakfast area we're welcomed. That was day one.

Daily housekeeping is not automatic it has to be requested, that's okay. However, it was an either-or occurance. One day they would make the bed, not replace towels; the next, visa versa. That was annoying.

They never cleaned the pool, not once We stayed 5 days oceanfront so we could see the sediment build up on the bottom of the pool. Debris floating on top was visible 24/7.

The safety lock on our room door let loose at times when the door closed. It locked my husband out upon arrival, luckily I was in the room. He told the front desk, but no one came the next morning as promised, so my husband got tape (when asking again in person) to temporarily secure it from locking us out. No one ever did show up.

My husband books \"breakfast included\" hotels with waffles or pancakes. The pancake maker was broken. The sweet women working tried to make excuses why it's not repaired yet, but it's difficult when you see the same guests daily.

We've stayed before and gave it another chance. We like the location, Lisa & the breakfast ladies. It had a hands-on small business vibe that's gone. I've emailed management before, without reply. We won't be back.

Management doesn't care so nothing will change. Rowdy guest numbers will continue to grow to be the new clientele.

Dirty rooms food smashed all over the floor, leaking faucets, rusted safe and rust all on the floor tiny ants all over the bathroom dirty room filthy complained one time that manager laughed everything off because she was taking a trip and didn’t want to be bothered the last night a roach ran across the floor under the bed while I was sitting on the bed. I called the front desk and the front desk clerk that evening was screaming at me at the top of her lungs. I left the hotel that night without even staying there after I had already paid for it. We've stayed here before and loved it but this time was kind of a disappointment. When we arrived we arrived late and unpacked the car and got up to our original room and there was no air at all. It wouldn't us change the temp from high and after driving all day and the front office sent someone up to look at it and they said we will fix it tomorrow. Ummmm no. We arent staying in this room overnight with that temp. I loved that took it had a huge vanity in the bathroom. The staff was great through all of it and we're very accommodating to find us another room but when we got up too the next room we were ready to lay down and the keys didn't work so I had to go back downstairs to get them reprogramed. Finally got to our room and the bed wasn't as comfy as the first one and the layout was completely different. A much smaller vanity. The next morning, they offer free breakfast which is great because I was looking forward to their fresh pancakes which are made perfectly from the machine that you pusha button. However the breakfast room air was off and it was packed out and the thermostat was set to 84. When I mentioned it to the staff at the front desk, they said yeah we know. So we decided instead of being packed in a sweat box eating breakfast we grabbed bfast. We will probally stay again because we like the location however I would like to see the hotel make some renovations and especially getting a \"Best Western Plus\" the pool and balcony in the room were the best part
