The room was clean, full kitchen w/dishwasher.staff was friendly, loved the pool that was perfect for toddlers and adults. We were on the bottom floor which gave us easy access to the pools and the beach. We liked the ramp instead of the stairs going down to the beach! Makes it much easier to carry things to and from the beach. We will definitely be going back!!

They advertise cabanas but you have to rent them, that was not explained. Also, in my room there was really no place to sit to enjoy the view. I had to pull out a kitchen chair (not comfortable) or just lie on the bed.

This was our second time staying there. First was good enough to book again. This was our last visit. The good part is the large multi bedroom rooms and the 10 ft deep pool. Cons, the elevators. You feel like you are taking a risk on every ride. The hallways are narrow and difficult to move with the bell cart. This last visit they were doing construction on the north end. That is where they placed us. Based on how dead the place was there is no reason we could not have been placed on the end without construction. The location is also right next to a sketchy abandoned resort.

The rooms at the Grand Seas were nice and they were clean. The sheets were pretty rough though, clean but not soft. Also, at this point, there should be Keurigs instead of standard coffee makers. They are a much cleaner way of making coffee. Any staff I met were very friendly and helpful. They were doing construction during my stay, luckily my room was on the opposite side of the resort. The hallways and elevators are very dated and there should be more amenities like they used to have in the past. Overall, I would give the place a 3 out of 5.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location of being directly on the beach my husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed. The room was spacious, we had a two bedroom and everyone had space. We enjoyed the tiki bar and both pools outside. We definitely will plan an additional stay in the future!

Overall good experience. Super cute rooms with great views of the beach. Very involved staff like they had cook outs and cocktails most nights. Some downsides, you have to request your room to be cleaned each night for a fee. You’re by the beach so naturally floors get sandy, would’ve been nice to have floors swept or at least a broom in the room. Also there was one vending machine that was sold of out everything. I never saw an ice machine either. Super standard things even with cheap crappy hotels so I was pretty shocked. With no gas stations walkable distance this was a downside. I wouldn’t stay there again just because I’d want to be more walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores but it’s right in the beach so that was a huge plus.

Have stayed in Daytona Beach many times and have tried many hotels. This was by far the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in at Daytona. The staff were great and security kept everything in check. Only negative was how early the pool bar and cafe close.

When I asked about the possibility of an early check-in, I was met with attitude and told check-in was at 4 PM, which I already knew. I was simply asking if it might be available sooner.
When my room was ready, the front desk announced my room number out loud in the lobby, which is generally considered a privacy and security concern.
The room had issues: the front door didn’t close properly without force, the bedroom floor wasn’t clean, and the bathroom had no storage (towels were stacked on the sink). TVs were outdated and not smart, so no streaming options. Bad order outside door.
The amenities were underwhelming. The arcade had only about five games and felt comparable to a small setup you’d find in a store like Walmart. The gym was also very limited, with only four machines. The only positives were the pools and hot tubs, which were nice but crowded.
I also inquired about a late checkout and was only offered an extra 30 minutes (until 10:30 AM). Extending to noon would have cost an additional $75, which felt unreasonable.
Overall, the so-called amenities did not justify the $67 fee charged at check-in. I visit Daytona Beach often and will not be staying here again.

Our room was not ready by check in time. The young woman at the tiki bar was the highlight of our stay. Staff was constantly cleaning outside, so it smelled like cleaning supplies most of the time while walking through hallways.

Breakfast should have been included for price of hotel stay. Only one dining area on the property that does not open until 7:30 am and closes at 3:00 pm. Looks like an old diner. They charge $75 for a late checkout. The room did overlook the beach, nice view. The 2 bedroom is large and spacious.

When their technician came to show us how to use them he spoke loudly and abrasively saying. “ Here in America, we call this a light switch”. This light switch being in another room- had to be on in order to charge our phones.
The gym was so small that only one family or room can use it at the same time. A glorified closet. No beach or pool access after dusk.
We could not stay in the unhealthy environment and decided we needed to look for more suitable accommodations elsewhere.
I highly suggest that you look elsewhere before choosing this establishment.
After contacting front desk and management, went through Expedia, still did not get a refund from the property. ZERO money back even though it was a health issue.
Expedia did reimburse half, but that was after multiple texts, emails, and phone conversations.

Everything was clean, great view, issue with AC. and they immediately sent someone to help us. Great people. The only problem I noticed was the fact that there were tons of people there that were not wearing resort bracelets. People that didn’t pay to be there. Also, the room has a coffee pot, but remember to bring your own coffee grounds and coffee filters (didn’t even have coffee filters). The room coffee quality was terrible, and I’m not hard to please when it comes to coffee. For caffeinated moms like myself, coffee is a must and not having any can really start the day off on the wrong foot. Other than this, it was great.

We had the absolute Best time! Front desk and entire staff were so pleasant and full of smiles. Our 2 bdrm suite was extremely clean and beautiful. Very modern. Had a small patio that led out to one of their outdoor pools. Easy and close access to the beach. Ordered food from their Tiki Bar and it was extremely delicious and reasonably priced. We will DEFINITELY be back as our permanent vacation spot in Daytona Beach. They've won our hearts

When we arrived the staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spotless. The view of the beach is great for mornings and sunsets. Only complaint that me and my wife have is, that the mattress was on the hard side and made it uncomfortable for us when sleeping. Other than that, it's a great spot for a nice weekend.
