My original booking cancelled. I think they were about to open but not ready. So quickly I changed to Arya blu. The ocean is maybe 50 years from
The pool. Our view room had a big window towards the ocean. The rooms were recently renovated. Meds were good. Towels bedding no pillows. A/c worked well. Bathroom also recently updated. They had enough parking. But just. The property is old and well used. They have updated the more important stuff but it is in need of more. Breakfast were muffins yogurt and fruit. Coffee. I don’t think they expect much repeat business but ocean access was very good. Sleeping was good. Price good. There is an elevator

And we had sea turtles come up and nest right behind the hotel/ beach fence

Great location on the beach. Breakfast was good ( muffins, apples, banana, coffee, orange juice, yogurt). The staff were accommodating. There was a stove, a microwave, a fridge , a sink, a table and two chairs in our room.

There were chairs outside of the rooms to sit and watch the waves. Pools was well taken care of. A lot of chairs by the pool. Easy to get down to the beach.

This version should fit within most hotel review character limits while remaining detailed, balanced, and professional:

We selected this hotel after carefully reviewing the online photos and guest reviews, but unfortunately the reality did not match what was advertised.

First, the positives: the bed and bedding were very comfortable, the rain shower head provided excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water, and the room, towels, and linens appeared clean. The check-in office was spotless and updated, the few staff members we encountered were professional and courteous, and the pool was a nice size.

Unfortunately, our concerns began the moment we parked. While the office area looked great, the remainder of the property appeared neglected and in need of significant maintenance. The hallways and stairwells had some of the dirtiest, most worn carpeting I have seen in a hotel. Thankfully, the rooms had tile flooring instead of carpet.

Our room showed numerous signs of deferred maintenance. The bathroom sink leaked underneath and left water covering part of the floor. There was visible rust on the bathtub and bathroom light fixture. The kitchenette was extremely outdated, and the closet doors were cheap, damaged, and missing trim. Even small details, such as phones still showing remnants of old Days Inn stickers, reinforced the feeling that the property had not been properly updated in years.

Outside, rusted railings, chipped paint, broken concrete benches, overflowing tr

Although the outside areas and pool were well maintained, did have some other issues. The water faucet in the bathtub was loose, the knob for hot/cold was reversed. At check-in no one was around. They had a gray item stating to push the contact button and someone would arrive. Vending area only had a ice machine and washer/dryer, located in the parking area. No vending machines whatsoever. Hallway HVAC systems were not turned on (must be saving money). Believe family members were living on the premises. Although the refrigerator was large, a top shelf was missing (glass). Freezer area was dirty.

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times but unfortunately and not due to the hotel Itself we will not be returning. Yes, the room is clean and it has easy access to the beach but the area has went downhill as well as the element of people who also were there. It wasn’t very safe feeling. Our last night there we had to go and check on our vehicle numerous times due to a group of younger (intoxicated) people who were not only yelling and being physically violent but also kept moving their vehicle erratically in and out of the already very small and congested parking lot. Parking is a major issue at the property as it is (only 1 parking spot per room and with people having visitors that wasn’t even an option) We actually noticed someone had hit the hitch on our truck at some point. No damage to ours but there was red plastic from a light on the ground around, under and on the truck and bumper. Also, I could care less if you smoke certain products or not but when it’s in the hallway so strong and coming in through our back door to where it wakes you up in the middle of the night, at that point it’s rude. As I said, this really wasn’t the hotels problem per say but due to these issues I just don’t think we will be returning to this property for our yearly trip.

Old and run down. Paint peeling. The fridge door handle was broke and the bathroom- while it had an exhaust fan it was merely for show bc there wasn’t any switch or way to actually use it and without a window in the bathroom- for ventilation- this is a major code violation! The room was worth maybe $75 not the insane price we paid for the stale “on-the-go” breakfast- coffee out and none of the bananas were even ripe. It appears this place had more “transient residents” than actual travel/vaca lodgers. Absolutely disappointing

This place looks closed down from the outside the parking was very tight. If you have a big SUV/Truck/Van it will be a challenge. The rooms were okay. They have tile so I feel like it’s a never ending battle with the sand. Beds were super comfy! Rooms were cold. Pool was close but looks like it’s got some issues there was styrofoam all over in the pool that looked like the pool may need some work, it looks like it was coming out the cracks in between the tiles. But could have been from something else. There was just A LOT in the pool and was never cleaned out during our stay. The staff was super super nice at check in and check out. We had been out on the beach at night around 10 and came back to being blocked in my a truck. If you has any kind of meat on your bones you weren’t getting out. Bc they have a parking spot right in front of the gate! I have seen worse. It was super close to the beach. So it maybe getting a make over. Out bathroom door was the most annoying thing we kept getting stuck in the bathroom due to paint being slapped on to make it look new. It can use some tlc but it wasn’t terrible! Staff was extremely kind so that was a plus.
