We booked this hotel the day before (which was also going to be 7/4. The motel was pretty full and the parking was a little crazy. The motel was an older property but kept up nicely. Brandon at the front desk was very friendly. It was right in the beach and was beautiful on 7/4. The beds were comfy. And the bathrooms were outdated. But overall we would definitely stay again!

Access to beach is ramped great for elderly vs steps. Gazebo nice for shaded ocean view. Elevator for tower rooms. Most cottages have limited ocean view but no steps on ground. No breakfast included but restaurants nearby.

The facility is a little dated having been built in the 1950’s. But it is very well maintained and my wife and I felt comfortable staying there. It’s directly on the beach with good access to the beach and has a nice pool and the views from the room that we stayed in on the 5th floor had a great view of the beach and water. We could see a sunrise from the walkway outside our room in June but I don’t know where the sunrise would be in the winter months. Overall I would rate it as a very good experience.

This is a great hotel right on the beach in Ormond. It has cottages, a pool, a hotel and a campground. The staff is very nice. The rooms are very nice as well. My only complaint is that there needs to be some updating of the flooring in the rooms. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel.

The toilet in our room did not flush very well. Our room was very close to the beach and pool which was very nice. One big problem is the ice machines were always out of ice. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for a quick overnight last minute and wasn’t disappointed. The room was spacious and clean with a small kitchen. The view of the beach was amazing and the pool was heated, which was very nice. The staff were friendly, and the grounds were clean. The bathroom could use some upgrades. The fixtures were old and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best but the location and the view make up for it to me.

I will post pictures. The outdoor area was very nice and well maintained. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The inside was another matter. Peeling paint, rusty chairs and doorknobs, quick cheap fixes to electrical outlets and a bathtub that was so old that no matter how much it was scrubbed, the dirt would never come out. I doubt these fixes are up to code. One elevator was horrible...vinyl flooring that was coming up, puddles, dirty walls etc.
We also had trouble with parking. My husband is a 100% disabled wartime veteran with a disabled parking plate. Cars were parked in the disability zones that did not seem to have any plate or card qualifying them for parking there.
We were awoken at 11 pm and told to move our car from the cottage area. We didn't know this area had assigned parking. My husband had to move our car to an overflow area across the street and cross the highway with little lighting. He believes a young employee was parked in the disabled space. This same employee told me \"some people just forget to put their disabled permit up\" When we checked out, the manager did not seem to care at all. When I asked him why employees didn't park across the street on a holiday weekend, he just shrugged. This was our second visit and the deterioration was evident. The property needs to be inspected for code violations.

Loved the location, staff, and views. The rooms could use a bit more TLC, especially when it comes to details like fixtures, caulking, and overall finishing touches. The bathroom tub also needs replacement, and some of the water fixtures could use updating as well. Per our experience, it seems the rooms have experienced quite a bit of wear and tear over time.

The Coral Sands Inn is an old hotel that definitely needs renovations. The staff is great and the location is good, but the bathrooms haven't been updated since this hotel was built and the rooms have only been partially updated.

Everything is very well maintained and well taken care. The people couldn’t be friendlier and Cathy (the lady who was working evenings during the time we were there was super kind and even remembered it was the boyfriend’s bday and asked how it was.
